[0001] The invention relates to a cover for a shaft, a set consisting of a cover and a protective cover, an attachment system for a shaft cover, and a use of a cover for a shaft according to the preambles of the independent claims.

[0002] Manhole covers with a manhole lid, road grates or sewer covers are predominantly cast iron covers or closures for maintenance shafts of supply lines, such as sewage pipes, electrical conduits, ventilation ducts and the like.
