AI Technical Summary
Existing wing arrangement technologies face challenges in providing reliable rotation limitation with complex structures that require precise manufacturing and assembly, and existing simple structures can only partially compensate for manufacturing or assembly inaccuracies.
A wing arrangement with a switching rod, guide plate, and scissor arm that uses a cone to secure the wing in a partially open position, allowing for universal use regardless of wing or frame profile tolerances, featuring a simple and flexible design with a switching rod coupled to a handle via a drift rod, and a tap guide that prevents unintentional disengagement.
The solution provides a reliable and low-maintenance opening limitation that is easy to manufacture and assemble, ensuring the wing is securely locked in a partially open position, regardless of profile tolerances, and can be used universally, enhancing operational reliability and reducing wear and tear.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a wing arrangement having features of the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] A sash assembly of the type mentioned above is known from EP 3 363 976 A1. There, a rotation limiting assembly is provided on a window with a frame and a sash, wherein a rotatable locking element, into which a rotation limiting element can engage, is provided on a rotation limiter in an opening. In order to fix the rotation limiting element relative to the locking element, the locking element can be rotated relative to the rotation limiter. The sash is then locked in a partially open position relative to the frame. However, the rotation limiting assembly has a comparatively complex structure with a large number of individual elements that must be precisely manufactured for the rotation limiting assembly to function.
[0003] EP 3 985 216 A1 discloses another sash assembly comprising an opening-limiting device with a relatively simple structural design. The opening-limiting device has a switching rod, a guide plate, and a scissor arm. The scissor arm is pivotally mounted at one end on the frame of the sash assembly, with a pin arranged at the other end of the scissor arm engaging, when the sash is partially open, into a guide groove of a guide plate fixed to the sash, thereby limiting pivoting of the sash. However, the use of this opening-limiting device requires that the profiles of the sash and / or frame be precisely manufactured and assembled, since the opening-limiting device can only compensate for manufacturing or assembly inaccuracies to a limited extent.
[0004] The invention is based on the object of providing a reliable rotary opening limiter on a sash assembly using simple structural means, which can be used regardless of the design and tolerances of a sash or frame profile. The simplest possible operation is desirable.
[0005] The invention solves this problem by a wing arrangement having the features of claim 1. The wing arrangement has a frame (fixed frame) and a wing of a door or window pivotably mounted on the frame.
[0006] An opening limiting device is provided that only allows the sash to pivot relative to the frame up to a defined, partially open position (the pivoting movement of the sash is limited from the closed position in the opening direction). The opening limiting device comprises a switching rod, a guide plate, and a scissor arm. The switching rod is guided on the sash so that it can move along a longitudinal direction (e.g., in a groove formed on the sash). The guide plate is fixed to the sash (non-movably). The switching rod and the guide plate overlap each other at least partially along the longitudinal direction, with the switching rod being coupled to a handle arranged on the sash side by means of a drive rod.The scissor arm is pivotally mounted on the frame at one end and has a pin at the other end which, at least when the sash is partially open, engages in a guide groove formed in the guide plate and closed at one end. In the partially open position, the pin rests against the closed end of the guide groove, thereby limiting (further) pivoting of the sash in the opening direction (away from the frame). The switching rod has a projection projecting towards the guide plate which, when the switching rod is in a switching position, engages behind the pin such that the pin is secured at the closed end of the guide groove. In other words, the projection can be arranged at the closed end of the guide groove in such a way that the pin, in particular a head section of the pin, cannot escape from the guide groove. Thus, by locking the pin relative to the guide plate, the sash is fixed or secured in the partially open position relative to the frame. Furthermore, the switching rod has at least one laterally arranged first positioning section, which can be brought into engagement with a second positioning section formed on or in the guide plate (opposite) in a switching position. As a result, the height position of the switching rod's projection relative to the guide plate is defined by the interaction of the first positioning section and the second positioning section. Therefore, the height position of the switching rod's projection relative to the guide plate is defined independently of the design and tolerances of the sash or frame profiles on which the opening limiting device is to be used, thus increasing reliability and enabling low-maintenance and low-wear operation. Furthermore, the opening limiting device is universally and flexibly applicable.
[0007] Optionally, two first positioning sections can be formed on the switching rod, preferably on a projection base body of the projection, and two second positioning sections can be formed on the guide plate, wherein in a switching position a first positioning section is (can be brought into) engagement with or engages a second positioning section.
[0008] In summary, a reliable opening limiter has been created using simple design means that can be used regardless of the design and tolerances of a sash or frame profile, and is also easy to manufacture and install. This contributes to a simple and cost-effective design of a sash assembly.
[0009] The wing can have a groove for guiding the shift rod (guide groove). The groove can have lateral groove edges that extend into the clear cross-section of the wing-side groove and engage behind guide sections projecting laterally from the shift rod when the shift rod is arranged in the groove.
[0010] The scissor arm can have a bearing block at one end, by means of which the scissor arm can be attached to the frame (fixed frame), e.g., by clamping or screwing the bearing block to the frame. The arm or pivot arm can be pivoted relative to the bearing block. One or more stops can be provided on the bearing block to limit the pivoting movement of the scissor arm in the closing direction (closed position). A detent, e.g., spring-loaded, can be provided to hold the scissor arm in the closed position. If the scissor arm is to be pivoted in the opening direction, the detent must first be overcome.
[0011] Advantageously, a recess can be formed on the guide plate at the closed end of the guide groove, into which recess the pin can penetrate with a head section, preferably with an enlarged cross-section, wherein the projection, in a switching position of the switching rod, engages behind the head section of the pin located in the recess such that the head section is trapped in the recess. In other words, the projection is then located on the recess in such a way that the head section of the pin cannot escape from the recess. Thus, by locking the pin relative to the guide plate, the sash is fixed or secured in the partially open position relative to the frame. The projection can have a locking surface with which the projection comes into contact with the head section. At one end or at both ends aligned along the longitudinal direction of the shift rod, the projection, in particular the projection base body, can each have a ramp at which the height of the projection increases from the respective end (towards the locking surface). The positioning section of the projection preferably projects from the projection base body at the level of the upper end of the ramp, in particular such that the locking surface is extended or continued by the upper side of the positioning section. By means of a ramp, the projection can insert the head section of the pin into the recess or press it into it. The recess can be designed as a countersink (fixing countersink).
[0012] Specifically, the head portion of the pin can be spherical. This advantageously allows the scissor arm to tilt, particularly in a first switching position, by tilting the spherical head portion, particularly within the guide plate and / or a pin guide. It is also conceivable for the surface of the head portion facing the switching rod to be curved outward.
[0013] A pin guide can expediently be provided on the switching rod, which has lateral wall sections projecting beyond the switching rod and spaced from one another in order to accommodate the pin, in particular the head section of the pin, between them. The pin guide guides the pin laterally to the longitudinal direction of the switching rod at least in one switching position or in two switching positions when the pin is located outside the guide groove of the guide plate. For example, when the wing is in the closed position, the pin guide can serve to guide the pin and to insert it into the guide groove of the guide plate when the wing is opened from the closed position and the pin moves towards the closed end of the guide groove.
[0014] The pin guide can expediently have retaining legs projecting from the wall sections, wherein the retaining legs engage behind the head section of the pin when the pin is received in the pin guide. The retaining legs are preferably designed such that they protrude into the clear cross-section of the pin guide, wherein the width of the opening formed between the retaining legs extending along the longitudinal extent of the pin guide is smaller than the cross-section of the head section of the pin. In other words, the pin guide can be designed essentially C-shaped to guide and secure the head section of the pin. This allows the pin to be guided securely and reliably in the pin guide, and prevents the pin from accidentally jumping out of the pin guide.
[0015] Specifically, the pin guide can be formed integrally with the shift rod (e.g., using a single material design). This reduces the number of components to be designed, manufactured, and assembled. It also promotes a stable design.
[0016] Alternatively, the pin guide can be designed separately from the shift rod and can be mounted on the shift rod, in particular can be placed on the shift rod.
[0017] A separate design simplifies the construction of the shift rod. It also enables the use of different materials for the shift rod and pin guide. The shift rod and pin guide can be designed such that they can be placed inside each other for assembly; for example, the shift rod can be placed inside the pin guide. To couple the shift rod and pin guide, retaining lugs and corresponding recesses for receiving the retaining lugs can be provided, for example, retaining lugs on the shift rod and recesses on the pin guide. The pin guide can have two lateral wall sections and a base section that connects the wall sections to one another. Guide lugs projecting outwards laterally can be arranged on the pin guide, in particular on the wall sections, for engagement with a groove formed on the wing. The wing-side groove can be constructed as described above.
[0018] Advantageously, the separately designed pin guide can be designed such that it can be mounted on the switch rod in two different positions or orientations, 180° apart from each other. This allows the same pin guide to be used for both right- and left-hinged sash arrangements. This reduces the number of different components required and thus the inventory and supply of spare parts. The pin guide is simply mounted on the switch rod in two opposite positions for use on right- or left-hinged sash arrangements.
[0019] The guide plate can be conveniently designed so that it can be mounted on the control rod in two different positions, 180° opposite each other. This allows the same guide plate to be used for both right- and left-hinged sash arrangements. This reduces the number of different components required, thus facilitating inventory and spare parts supply.
[0020] As already indicated, the projection, in particular the projection base body, can have a ramp at each of its ends aligned along the longitudinal direction of the shift rod, with the height of the projection increasing from the end of the ramps. This allows the ramp to guide the head portion of the pin into the recess from both sides. The projection, together with the ramps (viewed from the side), can have a trapezoidal or arcuate contour.
[0021] In a preferred embodiment, the opening limiting device can be arranged, relative to the direction of gravity, between an upper cross member of the frame (frame cross member) and an upper cross member of the sash (sash cross member), between a lower cross member of the sash and a lower cross member of the frame, or between a vertical sash member on which the handle is located and a vertical frame member (adjacent to or associated with this sash member). This largely protects the opening limiting device from environmental influences such as rain, dust, dirt, or the like.
[0022] Independently of this, two opening limiting devices can optionally be provided, arranged at different locations between the sash and the frame. For example, a first opening limiting device can be arranged between an upper cross member of the frame and an upper cross member of the sash, and a second opening limiting device can be arranged between a lower cross member of the sash and a lower cross member of the frame. This allows for higher loads, such as higher wind loads, to be absorbed.
[0023] Specifically, the shift rod and the handle can be coupled together (e.g., by means of connecting rods) in such a way that the shift rod can be moved into different switching positions depending on the actuating positions of the handle. Thus, defined actuating positions of the handle (e.g., closed position (e.g., 0° position), first opening position (e.g., 90° position), and second opening position (e.g., 180° position)) can in turn correspond to defined switching positions of the shift rod (e.g., a first, second, and third switching position). The handle can be coupled to a gear that converts the rotary movement of the handle into a translational movement, e.g., for the connecting rods.
[0024] Conveniently, when the handle is in a first actuating position (0° position or closed position), the switching rod can be in a first switching position in which the projection on the switching rod engages behind the recess in the guide plate and the at least one first positioning section engages with the second positioning section, e.g. engages in at least one positioning groove, wherein, when the leaf is in the closed position, the head section is located outside the guide plate, and / or wherein, when the leaf is in the partially open position, the head section is arranged in the recess. Thus, the actuating position of the handle is identical in the closed position and in the partially open position for securing the door leaf. This facilitates operation of the leaf arrangement.
[0025] Advantageously, when the handle is in a second actuating position (90° position or first opening position), the switching rod can be in a second switching position in which the projection on the switching rod is displaced away from the recess (i.e., no longer engages behind the recess), so that the sash can be pivoted between the closed position and the partially open position. Thus, the head portion of the pin can be moved into and out of the recess, allowing (limited) pivoting of the sash.
[0026] In a preferred embodiment, when the handle is in a third actuating position (180° position or second opening position), the switching rod can be in a third switching position in which the head section is outside the guide plate and outside the pin guide, so that the sash can be pivoted between the closed position and an open position (position in which the sash is opened wider than in the partially open position) as in a conventional pivoting sash.
[0027] Advantageously, several locking devices can be provided to lock the sash to the frame in the closed position, wherein the handle is coupled to the locking devices, in particular by means of the drive rod, so that the locking devices can be actuated by means of the handle. This contributes to particularly simple operation of the sash arrangement, since the locking devices and the opening limiting device of the sash, in particular their locking in the partially open position of the sash, can be actuated by means of the same handle.
[0028] Specifically, the guide groove can extend along a central longitudinal direction of the guide plate and be laterally delimited by walls, with the pin guide being designed such that the pin guide can be inserted into the guide groove between the walls. This promotes a compact and flexible design of the opening limiting device. The guide plate can have guide sections for coupling to a groove arranged on the leaf side, particularly on the walls laterally delimiting the guide channel.
[0029] Advantageously, the guide plate can have groove edge sections projecting into the clear cross-section of the guide groove, on the underside of which the recess is formed, wherein the underside has a surface section that is offset in height relative to the recess or a surface section that is aligned with the recess. A surface section that is offset in height contributes to a structurally comparatively simple design of the guide plate, wherein material weakenings at the groove edge sections are largely avoided. An aligned surface section favors an arrangement of the guide plate in two orientations, since the head section of the pin can be guided out of the guide groove even when the projection is located in the area of the guide groove. On the side of the recess facing away from the closed end, a retaining section can be arranged that delimits the recess on the side facing away from the closed end.
[0030] Advantageously, the at least one first positioning section can be designed as a positioning section projecting laterally from the shift rod, in particular from a projection base body of the projection, and / or the at least one second positioning section can be designed as a positioning groove formed in the guide plate. This contributes to a structurally simple and stable coupling of the shift rod and the guide plate.
[0031] Specifically, the projection base body of the projection can extend along the longitudinal direction of the shift rod, and preferably across the entire width of the shift rod. The at least one first positioning section of the projection projects laterally, i.e. transversely to the longitudinal direction of the shift rod, from the projection base body. The positioning groove (second positioning section) designed to receive the first positioning section preferably extends in the longitudinal direction of the guide plate or the shift rod and is more preferably designed to be complementary to the first positioning section. In order to form a stop for the projection, the positioning groove can be closed at one end. In order to enable easy insertion of the positioning section into the positioning groove, the positioning section can have an insertion bevel.

[0033] Figure 1shows a sash assembly, designated overall by reference numeral 10. The sash assembly 10 comprises a frame or fixed frame 12 and a sash 14 of a door or window pivotably mounted on the frame 12. The sash 14 is pivotally mounted on the frame 12 by means of hinges 16 and can be pivoted about a pivot axis 18 (pivot fitting). A pivot fitting is shown in the example, but the use of a tilt-and-turn fitting is also conceivable.
[0034] The frame 12 has a lower frame cross member 20, an upper frame cross member 22, and two vertical frame members 24, 26. The sash frame or casement 14 has a lower casement cross member 28, an upper casement cross member 30, and two vertical casement members 32, 34. These define a casement element 36, for example, a glazed casement panel 36.
[0035] A handle 38 is provided on the sash 14, by means of which locking devices (not shown) can be actuated to lock the sash 14 to the frame 12. In addition, the sash assembly 10 has an opening limiting device 40 (in Fig.1 (merely indicated). In the example, the opening limiting device 40 is arranged between the upper frame cross member 22 and the upper sash cross member 30. As explained above, the opening limiting device 40 can also be arranged at other locations between the frame 12 and the sash 14. The use of two opening limiting devices 40 arranged at different locations between the frame 12 and the sash 14 is also conceivable.
[0036] As explained further below, the opening limiting device 40 allows pivoting of the sash 14 relative to the frame 12 only up to a defined, partially open position (cf. Fig. 8a to 9b ).
[0037] Figure 2shows the opening limiting device 40 in isolation. The opening limiting device 40 has a switching rod 42, a guide plate 44, and a scissor arm 46. Connecting rods (not shown here) can be coupled to coupling elements 48 of the switching rod 42.
[0038] The switching rod 42 and the drive rods are slidably guided on the sash 14 along a longitudinal direction 54, specifically in a groove (not shown) formed on the upper frame cross member 30 of the sash 14. The guide plate 44 is fixedly fixed to the upper frame cross member 30 of the sash 14 (not shown). The switching rod 42 and the guide plate 44 overlap each other at least partially along the longitudinal direction 54.
[0039] The switching rod 42 is coupled to the handle 38 arranged on the sash side by means of at least one drive rod, so that the switching rod 42 can be actuated by means of the handle 38. The scissor arm 46 is pivotally mounted at one end 56 on the upper frame cross member 22 of the frame 12 (not shown) and has a pin 60 at the other end 58 (cf. Figure 4 ). The pin 60 engages, at least in the partially open position of the wing 14, in a guide groove 62 formed in the guide plate 44 and closed at one end, wherein the pin 60 rests against the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62 in the partially open position (cf. Figure 8b , 9b ). This limits further pivoting of the sash 14 in the opening direction (away from the frame 12). The switching rod 42, the guide plate 44, and the scissor arm 46 are explained in more detail below.
[0040] The Figure 3a to 3cshow the guide plate 44 in isolation. As explained, the guide plate 44 has a guide groove 62 with a closed end 64. The guide groove 62 is laterally delimited by walls 66, 68. Groove edge sections 70, 72 are provided on the walls 66, 68, projecting into the clear cross-section of the guide groove 62. These groove edge sections are connected to one another at one end of the guide groove 62 and thus form the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62.
[0041] The groove cross-section of the guide groove 62 is tapered between the groove edge sections 70, 72. Thus, a shank portion of a pin can be guided by the groove edge sections 70, 72. A head portion of the pin 60 can be guided by the walls 66, 68 (non-tapered groove cross-section).
[0042] At the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62, a recess 74 is formed (cf. Fig.3b), into which the pin 60 can penetrate with a head portion, as explained further below. The recess 74 is formed on an underside 75 of the groove edge portions 70, 72. The recess 74 is formed as a preferably conical counterbore. The underside 75 has a surface portion 77 that is offset in height relative to the recess 74.
[0043] In each of the walls 66, 68, a second positioning section 130, 132 is formed, in the example as a positioning groove 130, 132, for guiding a positioning section 126, 128 of the projection 96 (cf. Fig. 5 , 13 ac , 14 ac , 15 ). The positioning groove extends along the guide groove 62 from the open end of the guide groove 62 towards the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62, wherein the positioning groove 130, 132 is closed at one end in the example.
[0044] Lateral guide sections 76, 78 are formed on the walls 66, 68 of the guide plate 44 for coupling to a groove arranged on the wing side of the upper wing spar 30. The guide sections 76, 78 are designed to engage behind the lateral groove edges of the wing-side groove. At least two, in the example four, threaded holes 80 are formed on the guide plate 44 for attaching the guide plate 44 to the wing-side groove. In the example, the threaded holes 80 can accommodate screws, e.g., grub screws, to clamp the guide plate 44 relative to the wing-side groove.
[0045] Figure 4shows the scissor arm 46 in isolation. The scissor arm 46 has the pin 60 at the end 58. The pin 60 has a shaft section 82 and a head section 84 whose cross-section is (radially) wider than the shaft section 82. At the end 56, the scissor arm 46 has a bearing block 86, by means of which the scissor arm 46 can be fastened to the frame 12, e.g. by clamping. The arm 87 can be pivoted relative to the bearing block 86. A stop 88 is provided on the bearing block 86, which limits a pivoting movement of the arm 87 relative to the bearing block 86 in the closing direction. A detent 92, acted upon by a spring 90, is provided, which holds the arm 87 in the closed position relative to the bearing block 86. If the arm 87 is to be pivoted, the detent must first be overcome.
[0046] Figure 5shows the switching rod 42 in isolation. The switching rod 42 has a coupling element 48 at each end for coupling drive rods. Furthermore, the switching rod 42 in the example has laterally projecting guide sections 94 for guidance in a groove arranged on the wing side of the upper wing spar 30.
[0047] The switching rod 42 has a projection 96 projecting upwards, i.e., in the direction of the guide plate 44. The projection 96 serves to engage behind the head portion of the pin 60 at the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62, so that it is captured in the recess 74. The projection 96 has two laterally arranged first positioning portions 126, 128, which in the example are designed as first positioning portions 126, 128 projecting from the projection base body 134. The first positioning portions 126, 128 each engage in a positioning groove 130, 132 (cf. Fig. 3 a-c) in a switching position to determine the height position of the guide plate 44 relative to the switching rod 42.
[0048] In the example, the projection 96 has a locking surface 98 formed by the upper side of the projection base body 134 and the positioning sections 126, 128, and with which the projection 96 comes into contact with the head section 84 of the pin 60. At an end aligned along the longitudinal direction of the shift rod 42, the projection 96 has a ramp 100, at which the height of the projection 96 increases from the end, i.e., toward the locking surface 98. As a result, the projection 96 can insert the head section 84 of the pin 60 into the recess 74 of the guide plate 44 by means of the ramp 100. For easy insertion of the first positioning sections 126, 128 into the positioning grooves 130, 132 (second positioning sections), insertion bevels 136, 138 are formed on the first positioning sections 126, 128.
[0049] A pin guide 102 is provided on the shift rod 42, which has lateral wall sections 104, 106 projecting beyond the shift rod 42 and spaced apart from one another to accommodate the pin 60, in particular the head section 84 of the pin 60, between them. In the example, the pin guide 102 is formed integrally with the shift rod 42, although a separate design is also conceivable.
[0050] The switching rod 42 and the handle 38 are coupled to each other, in particular via drive rods, such that the switching rod 42 can be moved into different switching positions depending on the actuating positions of the handle 38. The handle 38 can be moved into different actuating positions by rotation. The handle 38 is coupled to a gear (not shown) that converts the rotational movement of the handle 38 into a translational movement for the drive rod.
[0051] The functioning of the wing arrangement 10 is explained below using the Figures 6a to 12b Opening the wing 14 to the partially open position is explained in the Figures 6a to 9b shown.
[0052] Figure 6a shows the sash assembly 10 in the closed position, i.e., the sash 14 is located within the frame 12. The handle 38 is in a first actuating position (0° position or closed position). The locking devices (not shown) for securing the sash 14 to the frame 12 are locked. The sash 14 cannot therefore be pivoted relative to the frame 12.
[0053] Figure 6bshows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position, wherein the frame cross member 22 and the sash cross member 30 are also indicated. The switching rod 42 is located in a first switching position corresponding to the first actuating position of the handle 38, in which the projection 96 is located below the recess 74. In this actuating position, the first positioning sections 126, 128 engage in the positioning grooves 130, 132 and thus define the position of the guide plate 44 relative to the switching rod 42. The pin 60 is located outside the guide plate 44 in the pin guide 102, wherein the lateral wall sections 104, 106 (cf. Fig.5 ) enclose the head section 84 of the pin 60 laterally to the longitudinal direction 54 between them.
[0054] In Figure 7aThe sash 14 is located within the frame 12, but the handle 38 is in a second confirmation position (90° position or first opening position). The locking devices (not shown) for securing the sash 14 to the frame 12 are unlocked. The sash 14 can thus be pivoted relative to the frame 12.
[0055] Figure 7bshows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position. The switching rod 42 is in a second switching position corresponding to the second actuating position of the handle 38, in which the projection 96 is displaced away from the recess 74. The first positioning sections 126, 128 are now located outside the positioning grooves 130, 132. By displacing the switching rod 42, the pin guide 102 has been displaced a short distance into the guide groove 62. The pin 60 is located outside the guide plate 44 in the pin guide 102, with the lateral wall sections 104, 106 enclosing the head section 84 of the pin 60 laterally relative to the longitudinal direction 54.
[0056] In Figure 8a The sash 14 has been pivoted relative to the frame 12 into the partially open position. The handle 38 is in the second confirmation position.
[0057] Figure 8bshows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position. The switching rod 42 is in the second switching position, in which the projection 96 is displaced away from the recess 74. By pivoting the wing 14, the arm 87 of the scissor arm 46 was also pivoted, whereby the pin 60 was displaced into the guide plate 44 and rests against the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62. The head section 84 of the pin is located directly below the recess 74.
[0058] Figure 9a shows the wing arrangement Fig.1 in the partially open position, whereby the handle 38 has been pivoted back into the first actuating position (0° position or closed position).
[0059] Figure 9bshows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position. The switching rod 42 is in the first switching position, in which the projection 96 is located below the recess 74. As a result, the head portion 84 of the pin 60 is caught in the recess 74 and cannot be guided out of it. Thus, the sash 14 is locked in the partially open position relative to the frame 12 via the scissor arm 46. In addition, the first positioning portions 126, 128 engage the positioning grooves 130, 132 and thus define the position of the guide plate 44 relative to the switching rod 42.
[0060] In the Figures 10a to 12b a complete opening of the wing arrangement 10 is illustrated.
[0061] Figure 10a shows the wing arrangement 10 in closed position analogous to Figure 6a . Figure 10b shows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position analogous to Figure 6bTo avoid repetition, please refer to the comments therein.
[0062] In Figure 11a The sash 14 is located within the frame 12, but the handle 38 is pivoted into a third confirmation position (180° position or second opening position). The locking devices (not shown) for securing the sash 14 to the frame 12 are unlocked. The sash 14 can thus be pivoted relative to the frame 12.
[0063] Figure 11bshows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position. The switching rod 42 is in a third switching position corresponding to the third actuating position of the handle 38, in which the head portion 84 of the pin 60 is located outside the guide plate 44 and outside the pin guide 102, which was displaced into the guide plate 44 by the displacement of the switching rod 42. Thus, the head portion 84 or the pin 60 is disengaged from the guide plate 44 and the pin guide 102.
[0064] Figure 12a shows the sash arrangement 10 in the open position, ie the sash 14 has been pivoted relative to the frame 12 into a position further than the partially open position, wherein in the example the sash 14 has been pivoted relative to the frame 12 by an angle of 90°.
[0065] Figure 12bshows the opening limiting device 40 in the corresponding position. By pivoting the sash 14, the guide plate 44 and the switching rod 42, which are arranged on the sash 14, are pivoted away from the scissor arm 46, which is arranged on the frame 12. The sash 14 can thus be pivoted relative to the frame 12 like a conventional pivoting sash.
[0066] The Figures 13a to 17 show a possible design of the shift rod 42, guide plate 44 and pin guide 102.
[0067] The shift rod 42 largely corresponds to the shift rod 42 described above, so that reference is made to the explanations there to avoid repetition.
[0068] Deviating from this, the projection 96 has a ramp 100 at both ends aligned along the longitudinal direction of the shift rod 42 (cf. Fig.13c and Fig.15). Thus, the switching rod 42 can be used for right-hinged and left-hinged sash arrangements 10.
[0069] The projection 96 may have an arcuate contour.
[0070] The pin guide 102 is formed in one piece with the shift rod 42. The pin guide 102 is essentially C-shaped and has lateral wall sections 104, 106 and retaining legs 122, 124 (see Fig. 13b , 14b and 14c ). The retaining legs 122, 124 projecting laterally inward from the wall sections 104, 106 serve to secure the head section 84 of the pin 60 within the pin guide 102.
[0071] In the example, the shift rod 42 and the pin guide 102 are Fig. 15, which shows a design with a separate pin guide 102, is designed such that they can be placed one inside the other for assembly, so the switching rod 42 can be inserted into the pin guide 102. A connecting base section 108 is arranged between the lateral wall sections 104, 106. To couple the switching rod 42 and the pin guide 102, two retaining lugs 114 are formed on the switching rod 42 and at least one recess 116 is formed on the pin guide for receiving one of the retaining lugs 114. A guide lug 110 projecting laterally outwards can be formed on each of the wall sections 104, 106 for engagement with a groove arranged on the wing side.
[0072] The pin guide 102 is designed such that it can be mounted on the shift rod 42 in two positions or orientations that are 180° apart from each other. The same applies to the guide plate 44.
[0073] In the Figures 13a to 13cthe guide plate 44 and the pin guide 102 are mounted in a first orientation on the shift rod 42. The shift rod 42 is in different shift positions, namely a first shift position ( Fig.13a ), a second switching position ( Fig.13b ) and a third switching position ( Fig.13c ).
[0074] In the first switching position ( Fig.13a ), the projection 96 is located below the recess 74 at the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62 and the first positioning sections 126, 128 of the projection 96 engage in the positioning grooves 130, 132 of the guide plate 44. In the second switching position ( Fig.13b ) and the third switching position ( Fig.13c ), the projection 96 is displaced out of the guide groove 62 of the guide plate 44, starting from the end of the guide plate 44 at which the closed end 64 is located.
[0075] In the Figures 14a to 14cThe guide plate 44 and the pin guide 102 are arranged in a second orientation on the shift rod 42, which is rotated by 180° relative to the first orientation. The shift rod 42 is in different shift positions, namely a first shift position ( Fig.14a ), a second switching position ( Fig.14b ) and a third switching position ( Fig.14c ).
[0076] In the first switching position ( Fig.14a ), the projection 96 is located below the recess 74 at the closed end 64 of the guide groove 62 and the first positioning sections 126, 128 of the projection 96 engage in the positioning grooves 130, 132 of the guide plate 44. In the second switching position ( Fig.14b ) and the third switching position ( Fig.14c ) the projection 96 is displaced a little way along the guide plate 44, whereby the projection 96 is in the second switching position ( Fig.14b) approximately in the middle of the guide groove 62 and in the third switching position ( Fig.14c ) is located approximately at the open end of the guide groove 62.
[0077] This means that the head portion 84 of the pin 60 must pass the projection 96 in the second switching position of the switching rod 42 in order to be guided along the guide groove 62 into or out of the recess 74.
[0078] Irrespective of this, the head section 84 can be automatically released from the (captured) position arranged in the recess 74 when the wing 14 is closed due to the recess 74, which is preferably designed as a countersink, and the bevel provided on the countersink.
[0079] Therefore, the underside 75, on which the recess 74 is formed, has a surface section 118 which is aligned with the recess 74 in height relative to the recess 74 (cf. Fig.16). The recess 74 may have a retaining portion 120 on the side facing away from the closed end of the guide groove 62, which portion delimits the recess 74.
[0080] Thus, the pin 60, with its head portion 84, can be moved downward from the recess (pin 60') toward the shift rod 42 and guided past the retaining portion 120. The pin is then moved upward away from the shift rod 42 to pass the projection 96 (pin 60"). Subsequently, the pin 60 can be moved again toward the shift rod 42 and guided out of the guide plate 44 (pin 60").
[0081] Fig. 17shows a cross-section through the opening limiting device 40, with the pin 60 shown in the upright position P1 (dashed lines) and the tilted position P2 (solid lines). The head portion 84 of the pin 60 is spherical in design to enable, particularly during lateral mounting, tilting of the scissor arm 46 by pivoting the pin 60 within the pin guide 102 from the upright position P1 to the tilted position P2.
