Description

[0001] The subject matter of the invention relates to a hinged belt conveyor with an endless hinged belt, wherein the hinged belt is formed by hingedly connected links. Each link has offset hinge eyes.

[0002] Slat-belt conveyors are primarily used in conjunction with machine tools. Slat-belt conveyors can be used as individual conveyors on machine tools or as interlinked conveyor systems.

[0003] A hinged belt conveyor can be used to dispose of chips, slugs, or nipples generated by machine tools. In such a case, a hinged belt conveyor is part of a chip disposal and raw material recovery system.

[0004] The hinged belt conveyor has a hinged belt connected to a drive device. Raw material residues are transported away via the continuously rotating hinged belt. The links forming the hinged belt are made of metal. A hinged belt with metal links is known from DE 202 006 001 016 U1. Each link comprises a plate to which hinge eyes are welded.

[0005] It is also known that a link of a hinge band is manufactured from a sheet metal part. First, a plate with tabs is formed, and then the hinge eyes are formed by roll forming the tabs.

[0006] The individual links are arranged in such a way that a pin passes through the hinge eyes of two adjacent links. The pins have end sections that are connected to a hollow pin chain.

[0007] The problem with such a design of a hinge band is that manufacturing tolerances of the plates and thus also of the hinge eyes result in a relatively large gap between adjacent hinge eyes.

[0008] When conveying very small pieces of material, such as punching waste, the problem arises that this material can get into the gaps between the hinge eyes. Since the hinge belt has two deflection areas, the links must pivot against each other in the deflection areas. The pivoting process is complicated by the punching waste or similar items found in the gaps between the hinge eyes, thus impairing the functionality of the hinge belt conveyor.

[0009] From the publication DE 10 2020 105 415 B3, which discloses the features of the preamble of claim 1, a hinge band is known which is formed by links. The individual links are constructed in several parts. Each link has a profile rail that is connected to catch elements in a locking manner. The catch elements have hinge eyes through which an axle extends.

[0010] A non-specific publication EP 0 212 189 A2 discloses a link belt cover for guideways, drive units, and accident-prone structural components on machine tools. It consists of individual, rigid plates arranged in a plane and hinged together along their adjacent longitudinal sides. The plates are provided with open grooves on their longitudinal sides and undercut grooves at the bottom. Anchored in each groove at a distance from one another are hinge eyes, which mesh with one another in alignment and are arranged on a hinge axis connecting the plates.

[0011] As an alternative to a slatted belt conveyor, so-called belt conveyors are used. Here, the slatted belt is replaced by a belt. This type of belt is made of plastic. Their temperature resistance is often limited. If, for example, hot chips fall onto the belt, the surface of the belt can be damaged. Another problem with these types of belt conveyors is that the pulleys around which the belt runs must be aligned very precisely.

[0012] If the length-to-width ratio of a webbing is unfavorable, it is very difficult to hold the webbing in position. Furthermore, it may be necessary to provide a flat support on which the webbing can at least partially run.

[0013] Based on this, the present invention is based on the objective of providing a hinged belt conveyor whose hinged belt is subject to less wear.

[0014] This object is achieved with a hinged belt conveyor having the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments are specified in the respective dependent claims. The features listed individually in the claims can be combined with one another in any technologically expedient manner and can be supplemented by explanatory facts from the description, thereby demonstrating further embodiments of the invention.

[0015] The hinged belt conveyor according to the invention has a continuously rotating hinged belt. The hinged belt is moved by a drive device. The hinged belt is formed by articulated links. Each link has offset hinge eyes. The hinge eyes are positively connected to the link. This inventive design of a hinged belt conveyor enables significantly tighter manufacturing tolerances. Because the manufacturing tolerances of the link and the hinge eyes are smaller, the gaps between the eyes of adjacent links are also reduced in width, so that the range of use and application of the hinged belt conveyor according to the invention can be expanded. A hinged belt conveyor designed in this way can therefore also replace a belt conveyor, for example, when it comes to transporting small chips or small raw material residues.

[0016] Because the link and the hinge eyes are designed as separate components, they can also be made of different materials. This allows the link to be adapted to the transport task. The link can be made of a high-temperature-resistant material, for example. Alternatively, it can also be made of metal, plastic, aluminum, or another material.

[0017] The same applies to the hinge eyes. The hinge eyes can also be adapted to the axis. Since a pivoting movement occurs between the hinge eyes and the respective axis, the hinge eye can have a bushing made of a material adapted to the axis. For example, the bushing can be made of a brass alloy.

[0018] The hinged belt conveyor according to the invention is also characterized in that receptacles are provided in each longitudinal region of a link, and each hinge eye has an extension with a geometric structure complementary to the receptacle. The longitudinal region of the link is to be understood as an extension of the link transverse to the transport direction of the hinged belt. The receptacle preferably extends over the entire length of the link. During assembly of the hinged belt conveyor, the hinge eyes, which have an extension with a geometric structure complementary to the receptacle, are inserted into the receptacle and initially positioned such that an adjacent link with correspondingly arranged hinge eyes are aligned with one another such that an axis can be passed through the hinge eyes. The hinge eyes of two adjacent links are positioned relative to each other along the axis using suitable measures to ensure a minimal gap between the adjacent hinge eyes of the two adjacent links. This makes it possible to reduce the gap width between the hinge eyes of two adjacent links to the required size. The hinge eyes are fixed in position. The advantage of this type of design of the hinged belt conveyor is that it also allows for further compensation for manufacturing tolerances of the link and the hinge eyes.

[0019] The receptacles extending in the longitudinal direction of the link are preferably formed by a groove. The link can be manufactured in the form of a profile as a semi-finished product, which already has the necessary groove. A link is created by cutting the semi-finished product to the appropriate length.

[0020] The advantage of such a design can also be seen in the fact that the stiffness of the hinge belt can be influenced by varying the number of hinge eyes. A further advantage of the hinge belt conveyor according to the invention is that it is easier to manufacture a hinge belt conveyor with different hinge belt widths.

[0021] According to a further advantageous embodiment of the hinged belt conveyor, it is proposed that each longitudinal region of the link has a recess into which the hinge eyes partially protrude. Preferably, the hinge eyes have a substantially circular cross-section below the extension. The recesses in the longitudinal regions have a circular arc shape that is adapted to the outer shape of the hinge eyes.

[0022] In particular, it is proposed that the hinge band have a substantially flat support surface in an extended position. This ensures, in particular, a uniform distribution of the raw material residues that impinge on the hinge band.

[0023] According to yet another advantageous embodiment of the hinge band, it is proposed that each link has a top side and a bottom side, with at least one link having at least one storage element connected to the top side. The storage element can perform various functions; for example, it can be designed as a stiffening element. The storage element on the top side of the hinge band can also have the function of a driver. Alternatively or additionally, the storage element can have a protective function. For example, the storage element can be made of a soft, non-slip, or shock-resistant material. The storage element can also extend over the entire surface of the top side of the hinge band.

[0024] Depending on the length of the hinge band and its associated weight, as well as the weight of the material placed on the hinge band, relatively high forces occur in the areas of the articulated connections of the links and thus also on the axes of an upper run of the hinge band. To reduce the loads in the joint area of the upper run, a further advantageous development of the hinge band proposes that at least some links have at least one support element connected to the underside of the respective link. The support element preferably rests on a corresponding rail, thus preventing sagging of the link band. Furthermore, loads on the positive connections between the hinge eyes and the links are at least reduced.

[0025] The at least one support element and / or the at least one storage element is connected to the top side or bottom side, respectively. It is proposed that the top side and / or bottom side have a groove into which such a support element or storage element can be inserted. The connection can be positive and / or non-positive.

[0026] The link can be made from a profile. To increase rigidity, it is advantageous if the link is formed from two spaced-apart plates. The plates can be connected to each other, for example, by pressing or screwing. It is also possible for the extensions of the hinge eyes and the corresponding recesses in the plates to be designed so that the plates are connected to each other by means of the hinge eyes. It is not essential that the plates are made of the same material. For example, an upper plate, which forms the upper side of the hinge band, can be made of a different material than the plate opposite it. The plate, which forms the underside, can serve to stiffen the links. For example, the plate can have corresponding longitudinal ribs that serve to support the upper plate.

[0027] Further advantages and details of the invention are explained with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawing, without the subject matter of the invention being limited to the specific embodiment.

[0028] They show: Fig. 1: schematically an embodiment of a hinge belt conveyor, Fig. 2: a section of a perspective view of a hinge belt, Fig. 3: an embodiment of a hinge eye of the hinge belt according to Fig. 2 , Fig. 4: a plate of a link of the hinge band according to Fig. 2 , Fig. 5: a second embodiment of a link, Fig. 6: a third embodiment of a link, Fig. 7: a fourth embodiment of a link, Fig. 8: an enlarged section of the link according to Fig. 7 , Fig. 9: enlarged another section of the limb after Fig. 7 , Fig. 10: another embodiment of a hinge band. Fig. 11: another embodiment of a hinge band, Fig. 12: another embodiment of a hinge band, Fig. 13: another embodiment of a hinge band, Fig. 14: another embodiment of a hinge band Fig. 15: an embodiment of a hinge band with a drive wheel and Fig. 16: a hinge band with drive wheel and guide.

[0029] Fig. 1 shows a schematic side view of a hinged belt conveyor 1. In the illustrated embodiment, the hinged belt conveyor has a substantially horizontally arranged feed area 2. The feed area 2 transitions into an inclined area 3. The angle of inclination is designated by the reference symbol α. In the illustrated embodiment, the inclined area 3 transitions into a substantially horizontally extending discharge area 4. The inclined area 3 and the discharge area 4 are held by a frame 5.

[0030] Within a housing 6, a hinge band 7 is arranged, which in the Fig. 1 illustrated embodiment is shown in dashed lines. The hinged belt 7 has an upper run 8 and a lower run 9. The reference numeral 10 designates a deflection area in the feed area 2. A corresponding deflection area 11 is provided in the discharge area 4. A drive device 12 is arranged in the deflection area 11. The drive device 12 is an electric motor which is directly or indirectly connected to a drive wheel for driving the hinged belt conveyor. Fig. 1 The design of the hinged belt conveyor 1 shown is exemplary. The hinged belt conveyor can have a straight design or a straight and rising design.

[0031] Parts not shown, such as chips, are fed onto the hinged belt 7 in the feed area 2. The chips, or more generally, raw material residues, are conveyed to the discharge area 4, from where they are discharged, for example, into a raw material container not shown.

[0032] In the Fig. 2 A section of a hinge belt 7 is shown in perspective. For the sake of clarity, the axes extending through the hinge eye are not shown. The hinge belt 7 is formed by links 13 that are connected to one another in an articulated manner. In the illustrated embodiment, each link 13 comprises a plate 14 and hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2. The hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 are arranged on the longitudinal edges of the plates 14. The longitudinal edges of the plates 14 extend transversely to the transport direction of the hinge belt conveyor. The hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 are arranged offset from one another, so that when two adjacent links are connected, the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 alternate with one another.

[0033] From the Fig. 2 In the illustrated embodiment, it can be seen that two hinge eyes 15.1 and 15.2 are provided. This is a preferred embodiment. However, it is also possible for one hinge eye or more than two hinge eyes to be arranged on each longitudinal edge. The stiffness of the link 13 and thus also the stiffness of the hinge band 7 with regard to torsion and bending can be influenced by the number of hinge eyes.

[0034] In the Fig. 3 A hinge eye 15.1 is shown enlarged. The hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 are preferably identically formed, so that only one shape or form of hinge eyes is sufficient to form the hinge band.

[0035] The hinge eye 15.1 has in the Fig. 3 In the illustrated embodiment, the hinge pin 15 has a base body 16. In the illustrated embodiment, the base body 16 is substantially circular in cross-section. The base body 16 has a circular through-hole 17 through which an axis (not shown) extends. A lubrication groove 18 can be provided in the lateral surface of the through-hole 17, through which a lubricant is or can be introduced in order to reduce the friction between the hinge eye 15.1 and an axis (not shown).

[0036] An extension 19 is formed on the outer surface of the base body 16. In the illustrated embodiment, the extension 19 has a substantially T-shaped cross-section. The extension 19 extends in the longitudinal direction of the hinge eye 15.1.

[0037] In the Fig. 4 A plate 14 is shown. The plate 14 has a top side 20 and a bottom side 21. In the illustrated embodiment, the top side 20 is flat. A groove 22 is provided in the bottom side 21 in the illustrated embodiment. The function of the groove 22 will be discussed further below.

[0038] The plate 14 has a receptacle 24.1, 24.2 in each of its opposite longitudinal regions 23.1, 23.2. In the illustrated embodiment, the receptacle has a substantially T-shaped cross-section.

[0039] The hinge eye 15.1 or 15.2 has an extension 19 with a geometric structure that complements the receptacle 23.1 or 23.2. In the illustrated embodiment, the receptacles 24.1, 24.2 are geometrically identical.

[0040] The receptacles 24.1, 24.2 are open at least to one short side of the plate 14.

[0041] For the training of the Fig. 2 In the section of a hinge band shown, the hinge eyes 15.1 are inserted from the short side into the receptacle 24.1. The same procedure is followed with the hinge eyes 15.2, which are inserted into the receptacle 24.2. The hinge eyes are positioned so that other, similarly designed links can engage with the opposing hinge eyes in the gaps between two adjacent hinge eyes 15.1 or 15.2.

[0042] From the illustration Fig. 2 and enlarged in the Fig. 4 It can be seen that the plate 14 has a thickness which is smaller than the diameter of the base body 16. The longitudinal regions 23.2, 23.2 have corresponding recesses 25.1, 25.2 into which the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 partially protrude.

[0043] From the Fig. 2 it can be seen that the longitudinal edges of adjacent plates 14 are arranged at a distance from one another.

[0044] Plate 14, as it appears in the Fig. 2 or Fig. 4 The plate 14 shown is formed from a profile. The length of the plate 14 can be varied by appropriately cutting the profile to length, thereby providing hinge bands of different widths.

[0045] The hinge eyes are preferably made from a profile that already has the corresponding inner and outer contours. The required number of hinge eyes for the production of the hinge band can also be provided by cutting or slicing the profile to length.

[0046] From the Fig. 2 and 4It can be seen that the plate 14 is essentially symmetrical. This is not absolutely necessary. It is also possible for the longitudinal edges of the plates 14 on the upper side to almost abut one another. The longitudinal edges of the plate 14 on the underside 21 are recessed accordingly, so that the width of the upper side of the plate 14 is greater than the width of the underside of the plate. By selecting the appropriate width of the underside 21, the plate 14 can be adapted to different pivoting angles. In the field of hinged belt conveyors, this is referred to as "splitting."

[0047] Fig. 5 shows a second embodiment of a member 13. The member 13 according to Fig. 5 is formed by a plate 14.1. The plate 14.1 is preferably designed as an extrusion profile. The plate 14.1 has a top side 20 which is substantially flat. The plate 14.1 has a receptacle 24.1, 24.2 on each of its opposite longitudinal regions 23.1, 23.2. In the illustrated embodiment, the receptacle has a substantially T-shaped cross-section. From the illustration according to Fig. 5 It can be seen that the hinge eyes 15.1 and 15.2 each have an extension 19, each extension having a geometric structure that is complementary to the receptacle 24.1 or 24.2. On the underside of the plate 14.1, several ribs are provided, which not only stiffen the plate 14.1, but are also suitable and intended to be connected to a second plate, as shown in the Fig. 6 shown to be connected.

[0048] Depending on the intended use of the hinge band and the loads on the link during operation, it may be appropriate to increase the strength, and in particular to increase the bending strength and / or torsional strength of the link according to Fig. 5 , to provide a second plate 14.2, which is positively and / or non-positively connected to the first plate 14.1. The connection can be designed, for example, in the form of a snap connection. For this purpose, the plate 14.1 has ribs 35.1, 35.2 extending in the longitudinal direction. The end regions, i.e. the free regions of the ribs 25.1, 25.2, are hook-shaped. Fig. 6 It can be seen that the plate 14.2 has corresponding connecting ribs 36.1, 36.2. The end regions of the connecting ribs 36.1, 36.2 have corresponding recesses, so that the jaw-shaped end regions of the ribs 35.1, 35.2 interact with them and bring about a positive and non-positive connection between the two plates 14.1, 14.2. In addition, connecting means not shown can be provided, which are, for example, screws intended for connecting the two plates 14.1, 14.2.

[0049] The ones from the Fig. 5 and 6 Removable variant of a link enables a modular construction of a hinged belt. Depending on the intended use of the hinged belt conveyor and thus also of the hinged belt, a relatively lightweight construction can be achieved using a link according to Fig. 5 If there is a need to absorb increased forces and thus meet higher strength requirements, the link can be Fig. 5 be stiffened by the additional plate 14.2.

[0050] In the Fig. 7 Another embodiment of the link of a hinge band is shown. The link in Fig. 7 It is a link formed by two opposing plates 14.1 and 14.2. In the Fig. 7 It is indicated how a bolt 37 can extend through the hinge eyes 15.2. This bolt 37 would also extend through the hinge eyes 15.1 of an adjacent link if two adjacent links are connected. Fig. 7 It is further evident that connecting means in the form of screws 38 are provided on the short edges of the plates 14.1, 14.2, which are intended for the additional connection of the two plates 14.1, 14.2.

[0051] Plate 14.1 has ribs 35.1, 35.2. Plate 14.2 has corresponding connecting ribs 36.1, 36.2. The connection of the ribs 35.1, 35.2 with the connecting ribs 36.1, 36.2 is enlarged in the Fig. 8 The enlarged view shows that the ribs 35.1, 35.2 are essentially hook-shaped at their free end regions with the connecting ribs 36.1, 36.2, so that a positive and / or non-positive connection can be established between the plates 14.1, 14.2. The ribs 35.1, 35.2 and, if applicable, the connecting ribs 36.1, 36.2 exhibit a certain degree of flexibility transverse to the longitudinal direction of the plates, so that, in particular, a snap connection is created.

[0052] In the Fig. 9 is enlarged a longitudinal area of the member 13 according Fig. 7 From the illustration according to Fig. 9 It can be seen that both plate 14.1 and plate 14.2 each have a lip 39.1, 39.2 in the receiving area 24.2. The lips 39.1, 39.2 extend over part of the thickness of plate 14.1. They have an outer contour that is adapted to the outer geometry of the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2. The lips 39.1, 39.2 are subject to a certain amount of wear during operation of the hinge band. They can be referred to as wear indicators. If the lips 39.1, 39.2 are worn, it is advisable to replace at least the corresponding links of the hinge band.

[0053] From the illustration according to Fig. 9 It can be seen that both the plate 14.1 and the plate 14.2 each have an extension 40.1 and 40.2, which delimit a receptacle 41 which is essentially circular in cross section. In this receptacle 41, the Fig. 7 shown screws 39 are screwed in, thereby further securing the connection of the plates 14.1, 14.2.

[0054] By appropriately designing the projections 40.1 and 40.2 that delimit the receptacle 41, the engagement of the lips 39.1 and 39.2 with the hinge eyes 15.1 and 15.2 can be influenced. The same applies to a positive and / or force-locking connection of two plates 14.1 and 14.2, such as those shown in the Figur 8 are shown.

[0055] To limit the deflection of extension 40.2 and to connect extension 40.2 to plate 14.1, extension 40.2 has a rib 42 extending in the longitudinal direction of the extension in its free end region, which forms a positive and / or non-positive connection with a web 43 formed on plate 14.1. Web 43 simultaneously forms an abutment for extension 40.2, so that when a screw is screwed into receptacle 40, extension 40.2 remains stationary.

[0056] From the Fig. 9 It is further evident that the hinge eye 15.2 has an extension 19 that is essentially T-shaped. The extension has inclined surfaces 44.1, 44.2 that interact with correspondingly inclined surfaces 45.1 of plate 14.1 and 45.2 of plate 14.2. This achieves a certain tension in the hinge eye 15.2, so that the outer surface of the hinge eyes 15.2 rests against the lips 39.1, 39.2.

[0057] The Fig. 9 shows the right side of the limb Fig. 7 . The left side of the limb is designed accordingly.

[0058] Fig. 10 shows a section of a hinged belt conveyor consisting of links 13 according to Fig. 7 In this respect, the description of the members in connection with the Fig. 7 , 8 und 9 From the Fig. 10 Bolts 37 are partially visible, which extend through the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2. To fix the hinge eyes and the hinge pins 37, each link 13 has a stop plate 44 on its respective short side, which is screwed to the respective link 13 by means of screws 38. The stop plates 44 have stop surfaces 45.1, 45.2, which limit a pivot angle α of adjacent links 13.

[0059] In the Fig. 11 Another example of a hinged belt conveyor is shown. The basic structure of the hinged belt in the Fig. 11 essentially corresponds to the structure of the hinge band according to Fig. 1 . Identical parts are marked with the same reference numerals. The description of the hinge band according to the Fig. 1-4 is based on the embodiment according to Fig. 11 essentially transferable. The following describes the differences between the exemplary embodiment according to Fig. 1-4 and the Fig. 11 explained.

[0060] In which the Fig. 11 In the illustrated embodiment, the member 13 is formed by two plates 14.1, 14.2. The plates 14.1, 14.2 are connected to each other in a form-fitting and force-fitting manner. The plate 14.1 forms the upper side 20. From the illustration according to Fig. 11 It can be seen that the plate 14.1 has grooves 22.1-22.3. The grooves 22.1-22.3 run transversely to the transport direction of the link belt. In the illustrated embodiment, the grooves 22.1-22-3 are parallel to one another. They are equidistant from one another. The grooves 22.1 and 22.2 are adjacent to the longitudinal region 23.1 and 23.2, respectively. A storage element 26.1 and 26.2, respectively, is arranged in the groove 22.1 and the groove 22.2. The respective storage element 26.1 and 26.2 has a substantially T-shaped cross-section. The storage elements 26.1, 26.2 can be extruded plastic profiles. In the illustrated embodiment, the deposit elements 26.1, 26.2 form carriers for the raw material (not shown) which is deposited on the link belt.

[0061] The plates 14.1, 14.2 are made of a preferably extruded profile. The profile is deflected accordingly. By rotating one plate, they can be assembled to form a link. The plates 14.1, 14.2 are preferably connected to each other in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner.

[0062] From the illustration Fig. 11 It can be seen that support elements 27 are arranged in the groove 22.3 of the plate 14.2. In the illustrated embodiment, the geometry of the groove 22.3 corresponds to the geometry of the receptacle 24.1. The support elements 27 correspond geometrically to the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2. This allows a link belt to be manufactured from two parts. It should also be noted at this point that both in the Fig. 11 as well as in the following Fig. 12-1, not all hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 are shown for the sake of clarity.

[0063] In the Fig. 11 The receptacles 24.1, 24.2, and the groove 22.3 are essentially trapezoidal in shape. These receptacles can also be referred to as dovetail grooves. The extensions 19 of the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2, and the supports 27 have a corresponding geometric contour. The support element 27 can provide stiffening.

[0064] Fig. 12 shows a further embodiment of a link belt 1. The design of the link belt 1 according to Fig. 12 essentially corresponds to the design of the link belt according to Fig. 11 . The design of the link belt according to Fig. 12 differs from the design of the link belt according to Fig. 11 in that the hinge eyes 15.1 are designed according to Fig. 3 are implemented. The hinge plates 14.1, 14.2 have corresponding mounts.

[0065] In the Fig. 14 An embodiment is shown in which a storage element is provided that extends substantially over the entire length of the plate 14.1. The storage element 26 can, for example, be glued to the upper side 20 of the plate 14.1.

[0066] Above, links were described in which the latter are formed from two plates 14.1, 14.2. By appropriately connecting the plates 14.1, 14.2 with force and / or form, a certain fixation of the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 can be achieved, so that during assembly of the hinge band, the hinge eyes 15.1 of one link can be inserted between the hinge eyes 15.2 of an adjacent link. Subsequently, the bolt can be extended through the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 of two adjacent links.

[0067] If the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 of a link are connected to a one-piece plate 14, manufacturing tolerances may result in a relatively large play between the receptacle in the plate and the extension of the hinge eyes, so that handling difficulties may arise when assembling adjacent links if the hinge eyes shift. In particular, to avoid this, it is proposed that the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 each have a radially extending slot 47, as shown in FIG. Fig. 14 The radially extending slot 47 extends through the extension 19. From the Fig. 14 It can be seen that a spreading element 46 is provided, which extends in the axial direction of the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2, thereby achieving a certain spreading of the extension 19. The spreading of the extension 19 fixes the hinge eyes 15.2, 15.1 to the plate 14, so that a pre-positioning of the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 with respect to the plate 14 can be achieved.

[0068] In the Fig. 15 A section of a hinge band 7 is shown schematically. The hinge band 7 is formed by links 13. The links 13 are connected to one another in an articulated manner.

[0069] The Fig. 15 shows axes 28 extending through the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 of two adjacent links. The axes 28 protrude laterally, i.e., transversely to the longitudinal direction of the link belt 7. Fig. 15 A wheel 29 is partially visible, which is connected to a drive device (not shown). The wheel 29 has a polygonal shape. This is a regular polygon. The side lengths of the polygon are equal and correspond to the distance between two adjacent axles 28. From the illustration, especially after the Fig. 15 It can be seen that the wheel has receptacles 30 into which the end sections of the axles 28 can be received. By rotating the wheel 29, the link belt 7 is moved.

[0070] For fixing or positioning the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 on an axis 28, aids not shown may be provided, for example in the form of tabs, stops, or the like, so that the hinge eyes 15.1, 15.2 located on an axis can be fixed in position during operation. This fixing also allows the distance between the adjacent hinge eyes on an axis 28 to be adjusted.

[0071] Fig. 16 shows a section of the hinged belt conveyor according to the invention. Fig. 16 A frame 30 is visible. The frame 30 has two supports 31.1, 31.2 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the hinge band. The supports 31.1, 31.2 are connected to each other by cross braces 32. The supports 31.1, 31.2 each have a support surface 33.1, 33.2 on which an upper strand 8 of the hinge band 7 rests. In the illustrated embodiment according to Fig. 16 Each support surface 33.1, 33.2 has a sliding support 34. The upper run 8 thus slides on the sliding support 34 when it is moved. The sliding support 34 can be made of a sliding material. To reduce the friction between the upper run 8 and the support surface 33.1, 33.2 or the sliding support 34, the support elements 27, as shown, for example, in the Fig. 11 are shown. By appropriately pairing the sliding support 34 and the support elements 27, the friction between the upper run 8 of the sliding belt 7 can be reduced. The frame 30 forms part of the housing 6 of the hinged belt conveyor according to the invention. List of reference symbols
