PORTABLE DEVICE FOR WASHING AND STYLING HAIR

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates in general to portable hair washing and styling devices intended for hairdressers practicing their profession in the homes of their clients. [Previous technique]

[0002] Portable hair washing devices found on the market typically include a rigid basin comprising a hollow body open at the top and equipped with a neck support, a stand designed to support this basin above the ground, and a flexible wastewater drainage hose intended to be connected to the basin.

[0003] The support generally consists of a base and a telescopic tube allowing the height of the tray to be adjusted.

[0004] These components of the washing system can be disassembled from each other to facilitate transport.

[0005] However, even once disassembled, these washing devices remain particularly bulky and difficult for the hairdresser to transport.

[0006] Furthermore, these devices are solely intended for washing hair and do not provide any assistance with styling due to the absence of a work table.

[0007] US patent 10,251,458 B1 discloses a portable hair washing and styling device, according to the prior art.

[0008] We know from patent application FR 2 996 995 A1 a portable hair washing and styling device comprising a washing basin including a neck support collar made of a deformable outer envelope fixed to the basin and containing a lightweight material such as mobile polystyrene beads whose circulation inside the envelope is generated by the pressure force of the neck on the collar, thus allowing the neckline to conform to the shape of different necks for better comfort of support around the neck, sealing and for the recovery of wash water runoff.

[0009] The wash tank also includes a horizontal wastewater discharge collector with a rigid portion sandwiched between two flexible corrugated portions.

[0010] The device also includes a telescopic support, one end of which is mounted pivotally on the outside face of the bottom of the container near its rear end, so as to allow the inclination of the container to be adjusted via tightening / loosening means in the configuration of use of the device, but also to fold this tripod into its retracted position against and along this container in order to optimize the volume occupied by the device when not in use.

[0011] A lid can also be attached fixedly and removablely to the open top of the tray so as to constitute a serving table during the hair styling phase.

[0012] In the retracted configuration of the tripod, the bulk of this device remains significant and its transport is difficult for the hairdresser, unless a dedicated wheeled transport case is provided and is large enough to house it entirely. [Description of the invention]

[0013] The present invention therefore aims to improve the situation.

[0014] For this purpose, it proposes a portable hair washing and styling device, as defined in claim 1. The device comprises a washing basin including a hollow body open at the top and provided with a neck support, a movable support between a retracted storage position and a deployed service position in which it is able to support said basin above the ground, as well as a lid that can be fixedly and removably attached to the top of said basin so as to constitute a serving table during the hair styling phase, said support being removably mounted on said basin, this support being further able to be entirely housed inside said basin in its retracted storage position, and said hollow body including two housings each provided to house a corresponding end of said support in the retracted storage position.

[0015] The invention thus makes it possible to reduce the bulk of the washing and styling device in its storage configuration, so as to facilitate its transport for the hairdresser at home.

[0016] According to preferred characteristics of said device according to the invention: This includes a flexible wastewater drainage pipe having a first end that can be removably connected to a connecting fitting fluidly connected to a drainage orifice provided in the bottom wall of said hollow body, said pipe also being suitable for being housed coiled up inside this hollow body against its bottom wall; it also includes a receptacle box designed to collect the wastewater transported by said flexible drainage pipe and being sized to fully house said container with said lid attached to the top of this container; said receptacle box has at least one gripping handle in its upper part;said receptacle box includes at least one pair of two slides arranged opposite each other on the inner faces of two of its walls and designed to cooperate by sliding with said lid when the said container is placed in this box with this lid attached to the top of this container, so as to ensure that said lid is pressed against another wall of this same box; said container also includes a removable plug attached to said connecting nozzle; said receiving slots are arranged above the bottom wall of said hollow body so that said support is housed therein in a position overhanging this bottom wall; said container includes two attachment rings for a carrying strap arranged on the outer face of one of the walls of said hollow body; said container includes two strap passages provided in lower protrusions of said hollow body extending below its bottom wall;said support consists of a tripod comprising three telescopic legs mounted pivotally at their upper ends on a base receiving a sliding column carrying at its upper end a head on which is mounted pivotally articulated a support platform capable of being removably fixed by screwing onto the underside of said tray; said tray also comprises a metal plate extending below the bottom wall of said body and being rigidly fixed thereto, said plate having a tapped hole enabling the fixing by screwing said tripod platform onto the underside of this tray; said lid comprises a panel as well as a first mirror mounted pivotally articulated on said panel between a deployed position of use in which it protrudes vertically above the latter, and a folded position in which it is housed in a correspondingly shaped recess in this panel;said cover also includes a second mirror that can be slid and removed from said first mirror; and / or said cover also includes a handle. [Detailed description]

[0018] There figure 1 represents an exploded view in perspective and in its configuration of use of a portable hair washing and styling device 1 according to the invention, intended to be used by a hairdresser at the home of his clients.

[0019] With reference to the figure 1 The device 1 includes a wash basin 100, a flexible wastewater evacuation hose 200, a wastewater receptacle 300, a support 400 that can be moved between a retracted storage position and a deployed service position, enabling it to support the basin 100 above the ground, and a removable cover 500 that can be attached to this basin 100.

[0020] As illustrated on the figures 2 et 3 , the wash tank 100 comprises a hollow body made of plastic material 110, open at the top and delimited by a bottom wall 111, a front wall 112, a rear wall 113 and two side walls 114 facing each other.

[0021] To facilitate cleaning and prevent the growth of bacteria, the internal edges and corners of this hollow body 110 advantageously feature rounded profiles.

[0022] The body 110 includes a neck support 116 provided in its front wall 112, and an evacuation orifice 117 provided in its bottom wall 111 and fluidly connected to a rigid conduit 118 extending under this bottom wall 111.

[0023] The pipe 118 opens laterally onto a threaded connection fitting 119 onto which a first end 210 of the flexible drain hose 200 can be removably screwed, allowing wastewater to be discharged into the receiving box 300 (see figure 1 ).

[0024] With reference to the figure 2 , the body 110 also includes two hollow pilasters 120 backed against the inner faces of its two lateral walls 114 and arranged opposite each other.

[0025] The apexes of each of these pilasters 120 each define a semi-cylindrical concavity 121 extending above the bottom wall 11 and forming a housing for a corresponding end of the support 400 in its retracted storage position, as will be explained further in the rest of this description.

[0026] Each of these concavities 121 advantageously presents a cylindrical cavity 122 designed to accommodate a bottle or flask 2 (see figure 1 ) containing, for example, shampoo.

[0027] For hygiene reasons and to avoid the accumulation of stagnant water in the bottom of these impressions 122, a drainage channel 123 is also provided between each impression 122 and the inner edge of the corresponding concavity 121.

[0028] The top of each pilaster 120 also includes a horizontal flat wall 127 extending behind the concavity 121 to the rear wall 113 of the body 110, at least one of these two flat walls 127 having a circular opening 128 intended to be passed through by the hose of a shower head not shown and which can also serve as a support for its shower head when the latter is not in use.

[0035] This plate 160 has in the central part a tapped hole 161 intended to allow the support 400 to be fixed to the underside of the tray 100.

[0036] With reference to the figure 1 , this support 400 consists of a tripod comprising three telescopic legs 410 mounted pivotally by their upper ends on a shoe 420 receiving by sliding a column 430 carrying at its upper end a head 440 on which is mounted pivotally articulated a support platform 450 able to be fixed removably on the plate 160 by means of a mounting screw not visible in the figures and screwing into the tapped hole 161.

[0037] This 400 tripod is mobile between: a folded storage position illustrated on the figure 3 in which the column 430 occupies its lowest position (the head 440 resting against the shoe 420) and where the telescopic legs 410 are retracted and closely adjacent, surrounding the column 430, and a deployed service position illustrated on the figure 1 in which the column 430 is raised and where the telescopic legs 410 are extended and spread apart angularly (the extension of these legs being adjustable so as to allow adjustment of the height of the support platform 450 relative to the ground).

[0038] To improve its stability in its deployed position, the tripod 400 also includes three leg links 460, each having a first pivotally articulated end attached to a corresponding leg 410 and a second pivotally articulated end attached to a collar 470 surrounding the column 430 and capable of sliding along the latter when the legs 410 are moved apart or closer together.

[0039] A clamping handle 480 also allows the angular position of the support platform 450 to be locked in relation to the head 440, so as to lock the inclination of the tray 100 relative to the horizontal after mounting this tripod 400 on this tray 100.

This cover 500 also includes a first mirror 520 comprising a frame 521 supporting a reflective element 522 and mounted pivotally on the panel 511 between a deployed position for use illustrated in the figure 1 in which it protrudes vertically above the latter, and a folded-down position illustrated on the figure 5 in which it is housed in a correspondingly shaped 511A cavity formed in the same panel 511.

[0041] A second mirror 530 is also housed slidingly and removably in the first mirror 520 via an insertion slot provided on one side of the frame 521, this second mirror 530 allowing, for example, the hairdresser to show the customer his nape of the neck after styling.

[0042] This 500 lid can be fixedly and removablely attached to the 100 tray to create a serving table during the hairstyling phase ( figure 1 ), as well as forming a storage trunk with this 100-liter container ( figure 5 ) designed to house the 400 tripod in the retracted position, but also the 200 drain hose coiled upon itself as illustrated on the figure 4 .

[0043] It will be noted that the concavities 121 housing the two ends of the tripod 400 allow, after the placement of the cover 500, to maintain this tripod 400 in a raised position with respect to the bottom of the container 100 receiving the pipe 200, so as to prevent this same tripod 400 from moving inside the container 100 which could generate parasitic noises and could risk crushing or pinching this pipe 200 during the transport of the case.

[0044] For hygiene reasons, the tripod in the retracted position will advantageously be placed in a bag not shown before being placed inside the 100 container.

[0046] With reference to the figure 6 , the wastewater receptacle 300 consists of a hollow parallelepiped body, open at the top and delimited by a horizontal bottom wall 310, two main vertical walls 320, as well as two vertical side walls 330.

[0047] The 300 casing also includes two gripping handles 321 arranged opposite each other near the upper ends of the two main vertical walls 320 and allowing it to be emptied into the toilet bowl or into a sink.

Still referring to this figure 7 , it will be noted that the two openings 331 also allow the two ends of the shoulder strap 130 to be fixed to this case 300 in order to allow the entire device 1 to be carried on the shoulder.

[0050] With the aim of facilitating the transport of the entire device 1, the box 300 is also provided with at least one pair of slides, each consisting of two slides 332 arranged opposite each other on the inner faces of the side walls 330.

[0051] The two slides 332 of each pair are designed to cooperate by sliding with the lateral portions of the peripheral band 512 of the lid 500 when the storage box is placed in the case 300, so as to ensure that the lid 500 is pressed against a corresponding main wall 320 of this case 300 and that their respective handles 513, 321 are superimposed to allow for better gripping.

[0052] According to other unrepresented embodiments, the device according to the invention can also be without a wastewater receptacle, so as to limit its cost and mass.

Claims

1. Portable device for washing and styling the hair, having a washing basin (100) comprising a hollow body (110) which is open at the top and is provided with a collar (116) for receiving the nape of the neck, a support (400) which is movable between a retracted storage position and a deployed service position in which it is able to support said basin (100) above the ground, and a lid (500) which can be securely and removably attached to the top of said basin (100) so as to form a service table during the hair styling phase; said support (400) being removably mountable on said basin (100), said support (400) further being able to be entirely housed inside said basin (100) in its retracted storage position, characterized in that said hollow body (110) comprises two receiving housings (121), each intended to house a corresponding end of said support (400) in the retracted storage position.

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it has a flexible wastewater discharge pipe (200) with a first end (210) which can be removably connected to a connecting piece (119) fluidically connected to a discharge opening (117) provided in the bottom wall (111) of said hollow body (110), said pipe (200) also being able to be housed, when coiled up on itself, inside said hollow body (110) against the bottom wall thereof.

Device according to claim 2, characterized in that it also has a receptacle box (300) which is intended to collect the wastewater transported by said flexible discharge pipe (200) and is dimensioned so as to entirely house said basin (100) with said lid (500) attached to the top of said basin (100).

4. Device according to claim 3, characterized in that said receptacle box (300) has at least one gripping handle (321) in its upper part.

Device according to either of claims 3 or 4, characterized in that said receptacle box (300) has at least one pair of two slideways (332) which are provided opposite one another on the inner faces of two of its walls (330) and are intended to engage slidingly with said lid (500) when said basin (100) is placed in said box (300) with said lid (500) attached to the top of said basin (100), so as to ensure that said lid (500) is pressed against another wall (320) of said box (300).

6. Device according to any of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that said basin (100) also has a plug (150) which can be removably attached to said connecting piece (119).

7. Device according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that said receiving housings (121) are arranged above the bottom wall (110) of said hollow body (110) so that said support (400) is housed therein in a position overhanging said bottom wall.

8. Device according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that said basin (100) has two attachment rings (124) for a carrying strap (130), which attachment rings are arranged on the outer face of one of the walls (112) of said hollow body (110).

9. Device according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that said basin (100) has two band passages (125) provided in lower protrusions (114A) of said hollow body (110) which extend below the bottom wall (111) thereof.

Device according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that said support is made up of a tripod (400) having three telescopic legs (410) which are pivotably mounted via their upper ends on a shoe (420) which slidingly receives a column (430) carrying at its upper end a head (440) on which a support platform (450) is pivotably mounted in an articulated manner, said support platform being able to be removably fastened to the underside of said basin (100) by screwing.

Device according to claim 10, characterized in that said basin (100) also has a metal plate (160) extending below the bottom wall (111) of said body (110) and being rigidly fastened thereto, said plate (160) having a threaded bore (161) allowing said platform (450) of the tripod (400) to be fastened to the underside of said basin (100) by screwing.

Device according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that said lid (500) has a panel (511) and a first mirror (520) which is mounted in an articulated manner on said panel (511) so as to pivot between a deployed use position in which it projects vertically above said panel and a folded-down position in which it is housed in a correspondingly shaped recess (511A) provided in said panel (511).

13. Device according to claim 12, characterized in that said lid (500) also comprises a second mirror (530) which can be slidingly and removably housed in said first mirror (520).

14. Device according to any of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that said lid (500) also comprises a gripping handle (513).
