Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to an installation system with a sanitary article according to claim 1. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Concealed installation systems for sanitary elements have become known from the state of the art. For example, the applicant markets corresponding installation systems under the names Geberit GIS and Geberit Duofix. These installation systems each comprise a mounting structure with vertical and horizontal profile elements. The profile elements are firmly anchored to a building, and the sanitary items, such as cisterns, toilet bowls, washbasins, faucets, siphons, etc., are then connected to the mounting structure.

[0003] The water flow in the sanitary ware creates noise, which is transmitted into the building via the mounting structure. Residents find such noises disturbing.

[0004] DE 43 45 049, EP 1 178 159 and EP 2 166 1662 show elements which store sanitary articles in a sound-insulated manner to a certain degree. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The present invention is based on the object of providing an installation system with a sanitary article which is designed to be more sound-insulating with regard to sound noises emanating from the water flow.

[0006] This object is achieved with the installation system according to claim 1. Accordingly, an installation system comprises a mounting element with at least one profile element, a sanitary article to be fastened to the mounting element, and at least one connecting element for connecting the sanitary article to the at least one profile element, wherein the connecting element has a connecting part on the sanitary article side and a connecting part on the profile element side. The connecting part on the sanitary article side can be brought into contact with the connecting part on the profile element side along an insertion movement and enters into a firm engagement. The two connecting parts come into contact with one another via contact surfaces located on the connecting parts. Furthermore, a sound-insulating material is present which is arranged such that the two connecting parts are sound-decoupled from one another when they are in firm engagement with one another.

[0007] The arrangement of the sound-absorbing material has the advantage of interrupting the sound bridge between the sanitary ware and the mounting element in the area of the connecting elements. This can at least partially or even completely prevent the transmission of sound from the sanitary ware to the mounting element, which is caused by the water flow in the sanitary ware or by the opening and closing of valves. If the sanitary ware is a cistern, a corresponding water flow occurs when the cistern is filled and emptied during flushing.

[0008] The sound-absorbing material takes the form of a sound-absorbing layer. A sound-absorbing layer is arranged between the contact surfaces in such a way that the two connecting parts, firmly engaged with each other, are acoustically decoupled from each other by the sound-absorbing layer.

[0009] Preferably, an appropriate sound-insulating layer is present between all contact surfaces between the two connecting parts.

[0010] The sound-insulating layer preferably rests on one of two opposing contact surfaces. The sound-insulating layer can, for example, be glued to the respective contact surface.

[0011] Alternatively, the sound-insulating layer can be integrally incorporated on or into one of two opposing contact surfaces. For example, the sound-insulating layer can be applied during the manufacture of the connecting parts using a multi-component injection molding process.

[0012] Preferably, a first contact surface and a second contact surface face each other, and a third contact surface is oriented substantially perpendicular to the first and second contact surfaces. This provides the advantage of interrupting sound transmission in two different directions.

[0013] Preferably, the sound-insulating layer is made of an elastic plastic, such as an elastomer, polypropylene, or polyethylene. Furthermore, the sound-insulating layer has a thickness in the range of 1 millimeter to 8 millimeters, in particular 2 millimeters to 6 millimeters. However, the layer can also be thicker than 8 millimeters.

[0014] Furthermore, the connecting part on the sanitary article side engages with the connecting part on the profile element side via at least one snap-in connection. The snap-in connection has the aforementioned contact surface with the aforementioned sound-insulating layer. The sound-insulating layer is thus arranged in the area of the snap-in connection. The elements of the snap-in connection have the aforementioned contact surface.

[0015] Furthermore, the locking connection has a locking tab on one of the connecting parts and a locking recess on the other of the connecting parts. The locking tab engages in the locking recess, and the two connecting parts are mechanically locked together via the engagement. The contact surface is provided by the locking tab and the locking recess.

[0016] Preferably, at least two locking connections are arranged, wherein the locking connections are arranged opposite one another with respect to the direction of the insertion movement and form a pair of locking connections.

[0017] Particularly preferably, two pairs of locking connections are provided spaced apart from one another in the direction of the insertion movement.

[0018] Preferably, one of the connecting parts has a receiving space, and the other of the connecting parts has an engagement portion that can be inserted into the receiving space. The engagement portion can be inserted into the receiving space. The elements for the locking connection, in particular the locking tab and the locking recess, are arranged on side surfaces of the receiving space and on side surfaces of the engagement portion.

[0019] In the arrangement with the two pairs of snap-in connections, there are two snap-in tabs or two snap-in recesses per side surface.

[0020] Preferably, the clear width of the receiving space becomes smaller in the direction of the insertion movement.

[0021] Furthermore, each of the locking tabs is hinged to the connecting part via a spring section and forms a free end of the spring section. The free end can be oriented in the direction of the insertion movement and / or opposite to the insertion direction. If two locking tabs are present, it is conceivable that the free end of one locking tab is oriented in the direction of the insertion movement and the free end of the other locking tab is oriented opposite to the insertion direction.

[0022] The locking tab can be designed as a freely swinging arm.

[0023] Preferably, the connecting part on the sanitary article side is connected to the sanitary article via a mechanically fixed connection, wherein the mechanically fixed connection is preferably a snap-in connection. Alternatively, the connecting part on the sanitary article side is integrally formed on the sanitary article.

[0024] Preferably, the profile element-side connecting part is connected to the profile element via a mechanically secure connection, wherein the mechanically secure connection is preferably a snap-in connection or a screw connection. Alternatively, the profile element-side connecting part is integrally formed on the profile element.

[0025] According to a further development, the sanitary article further comprises a bearing structure on the sanitary article side, and one of the said profile elements comprises a bearing structure on the profile element side. In this development, the assembly element is designed with at least two vertically extending profile elements and with at least one horizontally extending profile element. The bearing structures can be brought into engagement with one another during assembly of the sanitary article, wherein the engagement is such that the sanitary article can be pivoted from an initial position to an end position about a pivot axis. During pivoting, the connecting part on the sanitary article side can be brought into contact with the connecting part on the profile element side along an insertion movement, and upon reaching the end position, the connecting part on the sanitary article side enters into a fixed engagement with the connecting part on the profile element side.

[0026] The pivoting of the sanitary ware provides the advantage of providing a simple and intuitive assembly method. In particular, because the sanitary ware is supported by the bearing structures, it can be easily installed by one person alone, i.e., without the assistance of another person. Furthermore, the laborious task of holding the sanitary ware and simultaneously manipulating fastening elements is eliminated because the sanitary ware is supported and movable by the bearing structure.

[0027] A further advantage is that, in tight spaces, the sanitary ware can be brought into contact with the mounting element from above or from the side via the bearing structures and then pivoted accordingly. Front-mounted installation, which typically requires a lot of space because, in addition to the sanitary ware, the installer also has to position himself in front of the mounting element, is made easier. The fact that installation can be performed from above or from the side thanks to the pivoting mechanism alleviates the space problem.

[0028] The advantages mentioned are achieved not only during installation but also during dismantling of the cistern.

[0029] Preferably, the two bearing structures come into contact with each other via contact surfaces located on the bearing structures. Likewise, the aforementioned sound-absorbing material is advantageously present in the area of the bearing structures. The sound-absorbing material can be a sound-absorbing layer arranged between the contact surfaces. The layer is arranged such that the two bearing structures, when firmly engaged with each other, are acoustically decoupled by the sound-absorbing layer. One or both of the bearing structures can also be formed from the sound-absorbing material. This can also prevent sound transmission in the area of the bearing point.

[0030] The pivot axis preferably runs parallel to and at a distance from the profile axis of the profile element on which the profile element-side bearing structure is arranged. Depending on the design of the bearing structures, the pivot axis can also move parallel to the profile axis during pivoting. Therefore, the pivot axis is not necessarily always in the same position. However, the bearing structures can also be designed such that the pivot axis remains in the same position throughout the entire pivoting movement.

[0031] Due to the pivoting movement of the sanitary article, the insertion movement is essentially an arc-like movement. The center of the arc forms the pivot axis.

[0032] It is preferred that in the initial position the connecting part on the sanitary article side is spaced apart from the connecting part on the profile element side and that only with increasing movement in the direction of the end position is an engagement created between the two connecting parts.

[0033] This has the advantage that the sanitary article can be connected to the mounting element via the two bearing structures independently of the connecting element, which makes assembly easier.

[0034] In one embodiment, the profile element-side bearing structure is arranged on the horizontally extending profile element and at least one connecting element is arranged between the vertically extending profile elements and the sanitary article.

[0035] In another embodiment, the profile element-side bearing structure is arranged on the vertically extending profile element and at least one connecting element is arranged between the horizontally extending profile element and the sanitary article.

[0036] Preferably, a connecting element is arranged on each side of the sanitary article, wherein the connecting elements are each at an equal distance from the bearing structure on the sanitary article side or from the bearing structure on the profile element side.

[0037] This arrangement allows the sanitary article to be supported at three points: two connecting elements and the bearing structure on the mounting element. The arrangement of the two connecting elements with the aforementioned distance from the bearing structures also has the advantage of achieving a symmetrical force distribution when connecting the connecting parts.

[0038] Preferably, one of the two bearing structures is designed as a recess and the other of the two bearing structures is designed as an elevation, wherein the elevation pivotably engages in the recess.

[0039] Preferably, the support structure on the profile element side is designed as a recess, and the support structure on the sanitary article side is designed as a raised portion. A reverse arrangement is also conceivable.

[0040] Particularly preferably, the recess is arranged in a tab bent out of the profile element. Preferably, several recesses can be arranged. However, it is also conceivable for only one recess to be present.

[0041] Preferably, the sanitary article is pivoted from its starting position to its end position by an angle in the range of 10° to 45°, particularly in the range of 15° to 30°. These angles are particularly advantageous when using tools such as drills in front of the storage structure.

[0042] Preferably, there is play between the bearing structure on the sanitary article side and the bearing structure on the profile element side in a direction transverse to the pivot axis or to the profile axis, wherein the play is preferably dimensioned such that tolerances between the bearing structures and the at least one connecting element can be compensated.

[0043] The sanitary item is preferably a cistern with a flush pipe. However, other sanitary items such as siphon elements, drain elements, or installation blocks for outlet fittings are also conceivable.

[0044] In the case of the cistern, the sanitary ware side bearing structure is located on the cistern or flush pipe and extends away from the cistern or flush pipe.

[0045] Preferably, the sanitary article-side bearing structure is a tab which extends from a flush pipe section to be positioned horizontally and transversely to said flush pipe section.

[0046] Preferably, the tab is molded onto the flush pipe and thus forms a single piece. Alternatively, the tab can have a circular mount. This mount allows the tab to be mounted on the flush pipe.

[0047] The profile elements are preferably made of metal, with the horizontal profile element being connected to the vertical profile elements via a mechanically strong connection. The mechanically strong connection can be a screw connection or a welded connection. In other variants, however, it is also conceivable for the profile elements to be made of wood. Furthermore, at least the horizontal profile element has fastening points via which further sanitary articles can be attached to the mounting element. The profile elements can also be supported relative to one another via support elements. The vertical profile elements preferably each comprise a telescopically extendable footrest. In addition, the profile elements and / or the footrest can be provided with fastening openings so that the mounting element can be connected to a building via screws or the like.

[0048] A method for assembling an installation system as described above is characterized in that that in a first step the sanitary article side bearing structure and the profile element side bearing structure are connected to one another, that in a subsequent second step the sanitary article is pivoted towards the profile elements and that during the pivoting the sanitary article side connecting part can be brought into contact with the profile element side connecting part along an insertion movement and when the end position is reached the sanitary article side connecting part enters into a firm engagement with the profile element side connecting part.

[0049] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0051] In the Figures 1 to 8different views of an installation system 1 are shown.

[0052] The Figures 9 to 15 show details of a connecting element 7 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The connecting element 7 can be used in the installation system 1 according to the Figures 1 to 8 or used in other installation systems.

[0053] The installation system 1 comprises a mounting element 2, a sanitary article 6 and at least one connecting element 7. The sanitary article 6 is fastened to the mounting element 2 with the at least one connecting element 7.

[0054] The mounting element 2 can be designed in different ways. The mounting element 2 is preferably provided by two profile elements 3, 4 running in the vertical V and at least one profile element 5 running in the horizontal H. In the embodiment shown, a further profile element 31 running in the horizontal H is arranged. The profile elements 3, 4, 5 and 31 are firmly connected to one another. Furthermore, optional support elements 32 are arranged here, which connect the profile elements 3, 4 to the profile element 5 running in the horizontal H. The support elements 32 ensure appropriate support. The profile elements 3, 4 running in the vertical V preferably comprise a footrest 35 that can be telescopically extended relative to the profile elements 3, 4.

[0055] In the embodiment shown, the sanitary article 6 is a cistern. The cistern comprises a cistern body 33, from which a flush pipe 15 extends from the bottom. The cistern body 33 serves to collect flush water, which can then be discharged to a toilet via the flush pipe 15. However, the sanitary article 6 can also be another sanitary element.

[0056] The connecting element 7 serves to connect the sanitary article 6 with at least one of the profile elements 3, 4. The connecting element 7 has a sanitary article-side connecting part 8 and a profile element-side connecting part 9. The detailed design of the connecting element 7 is shown in the Figures 9 to 15 explained in more detail below.

[0057] Furthermore, the sanitary article 6 comprises a bearing structure 10 on the sanitary article side, and one of the aforementioned profile elements, here the profile element 5 running horizontally H, comprises a bearing structure 11 on the profile element side. During assembly of the sanitary article 6 to the assembly element 2, the bearing structures 10, 11 can be brought into engagement with one another. The engagement is such that the sanitary article 6 can be pivoted from an initial position to an end position about a pivot axis S. The bearing structures 10, 11 are designed such that the sanitary article 6 can be pivoted in a controlled manner.

[0058] In the embodiment shown according to the Figures 1 to 8The profile element-side support structure 11 is arranged on the profile elements 5 running horizontally H. The at least one connecting element 7 is arranged between the profile elements 3, 4 running vertically V and the sanitary article 6. In the embodiment shown, two connecting elements 7 are arranged to the left and right of the sanitary article 6. The connecting elements 7 are at the same vertical distance from the support structures 10, 11. This means that the connecting elements 7 are at the same height relative to one another.

[0059] In the Figures 1 , 4 and 7 8 and 9, the sanitary article 6 is shown in its initial position. In the initial position, the two bearing structures 10, 11 are engaged with each other, and the sanitary article 6 can be pivoted accordingly.

[0060] The Figure 8shows a detailed view of the engagement of the sanitary article-side bearing structure 10 in the profile element-side bearing structure 11. One of the bearing structures, here the sanitary article-side bearing structure 10, is designed as an elevation 13 and the other of the bearing structures, here the profile element-side bearing structure 11, is designed as a recess 12 into which the elevation projects. In the embodiment shown, the sanitary article-side bearing structure 10 or the elevation 13 is a tab 16 which extends from a flush pipe section 17 to be positioned horizontally, transversely to said flush pipe section 17. The tab 16 extends essentially at right angles from the corresponding flush pipe section 17. In the embodiment shown, the recess 12 is placed in a tab 14 bent out of the profile element 5. The tab 16 extends into the recess 12 and can be pivoted accordingly in the recess 12.Several recesses 12 can be arranged in the tab 14 so that the sanitary article 6 can be positioned in different positions.

[0061] The bearing structures 10, 11 are designed in the embodiment shown such that the sanitary article 6, with its angular orientation shown in the figures, can be brought into engagement from above in the direction of the profile element-side bearing structure 11. This movement is Figure 4 represented by the arrow B. The sanitary article 6 can therefore be inserted from above with an angular orientation to the vertical along the movement B with its bearing structure 10 into the profile element-side bearing structure 11.

[0062] Starting from the initial situation as in the Figures 1 , 4 , 7 and 8 As shown, the sanitary article 6 is pivoted towards its end position towards the mounting element 2.

[0063] The Figures 2and 5 show the position of the sanitary article 6 in an intermediate position between the starting position and the end position. From this position, the sanitary article is pivoted further, and during the further pivoting, the two connecting parts 8, 9 can be brought into contact with each other. The two connecting parts 8, 9 then engage firmly when the cistern 6 has reached the end position.

[0064] In the Figure 5 It is shown that the sanitary article-side connecting part 8 can be brought into contact with the profile element-side connecting part 9 along an insertion movement E. The insertion movement E essentially runs on a circular arc around the pivot axis S. Figures 4 , 5 and 6It can be seen that in the initial position, the connecting part 8 on the sanitary article side is spaced apart from the connecting part 9 on the profile element side. Only with increasing movement toward the end position is an engagement created between the two connecting parts 8, 9. The engagement thus occurs during the movement of the sanitary article 6 from the initial position to the end position.

[0065] In the Figure 4 The sanitary article 6 is shown in the starting position. From this starting position, the sanitary article 6 is pivoted to the end position. The pivoting occurs by the pivot angle α. The pivot angle α lies in the range of 10° to 45°, in particular in the range of 15° to 30°. The smaller the pivot angle α, the more compact the installation system 1 is when the sanitary article 6 is in the starting position. In the Figure 8The pivot axis S is then shown in more detail. The pivot axis S runs parallel to the profile axis P of the profile element 5 and thus lies in the horizontal H. The profile axis P is essentially defined as the center axis of the respective profile element, here profile element 5.

[0066] Furthermore, there is play between the sanitary article-side bearing structure 10 and the profile element-side bearing structure 11 in a direction transverse to the pivot axis S or the profile axis P. This play is dimensioned such that tolerances between the bearing structures 10, 11 and the at least one connecting element 7 can be compensated. This is particularly true if the connecting elements 7 are mounted imprecisely.

[0067] Furthermore, in the embodiment shown, the horizontal profile element 5 comprises, on both sides next to the profile element-side bearing structure 11, a plurality of fastening openings 34 which are provided for receiving threaded rods or other fastening means for fastening further sanitary structures, such as a toilet bowl, to the mounting element 2.

[0068] Based on the Figures 9 to 15 A preferred embodiment of the connecting element 7 is now shown. The connecting element 7 comprises, as mentioned above, a sanitary article-side connecting part 8 and a profile element-side connecting part 9. The two connecting parts 8, 9 can be brought into contact with one another along an insertion movement E and enter into a firm engagement with one another.

[0069] The Figures 9 , 11 and 13show different perspectives of the connecting element 7, where the two connecting parts 8, 9 are not yet engaged with each other. The connecting part 8 is brought into contact with the connecting part 9 along the insertion movement E and then enters into a firm engagement. Figures 10 , 12 and 14 this fixed intervention is shown accordingly.

[0070] The two connecting parts 8, 9 come into contact with each other via contact surfaces 18 provided on the connecting parts 8, 9. Furthermore, a sound-insulating material is present, which is arranged such that the two connecting parts 8, 9 are sound-decoupled from each other when they are firmly engaged. A sound-insulating layer 19 is arranged between the contact surfaces 18. The sound-insulating layer 19 is arranged such that when the two connecting parts 8, 9 are firmly engaged with each other, they are sound-decoupled by the sound-insulating layer 19. The sound-insulating layer 19 is designed such that any sound originating from the sanitary article 6 does not pass from the connecting part 8 on the sanitary article side to the connecting part 9 on the profile element side. The sound-insulating layer 19 accordingly counteracts any possible sound bridge.

[0071] In the embodiment shown, the sanitary article 6 is in contact with the mounting element 2 not only via the connecting parts 8, 9, but also via the two bearing structures 10, 11. Accordingly, the two bearing structures 10, 11 also have corresponding contact surfaces 18, via which the bearing structures 10, 11 are brought into contact with one another. A corresponding sound-insulating layer 19 is also arranged between these contact surfaces 18; this sound-insulating layer 19 is also arranged such that the two bearing structures 10, 11 are sound-decoupled by the sound-insulating layer 19 when engaged with one another.

[0072] Preferably, the sound-insulating layer 19 rests on one of two contact surfaces 18 which can be brought into contact with each other, as well as in the Figures 9 to 15is shown in more detail. The sound-insulating layer 19 is applied to one of the contact surfaces 18 and rests there accordingly. For example, the sound-insulating layer 19 can be bonded to the corresponding contact surface with an adhesive. Alternatively, the contact surface 18 and the sound-insulating layer 19 could also be integrally connected to one another. For example, it would be conceivable for the sound-insulating layer 19 to be incorporated onto or into the contact surfaces 18 in a correspondingly one-piece manner.

[0073] The sound-insulating material is preferably made of an elastic plastic, such as an elastomer, polypropylene, or polyethylene. The thickness of the sound-insulating layer 19 is preferably in the range of one millimeter to eight millimeters, in particular two millimeters to six millimeters.

[0074] In the embodiment shown, the sanitary article-side connecting part 8 engages with the profile element-side connecting part 9 via at least one locking connection 20. In the embodiment shown, a total of four locking connections 20 are provided. Two locking connections 20 are located opposite each other with respect to the direction of the insertion movement E and form a pair of locking connections 20. In the embodiment shown, two pairs of locking connections 20 are arranged spaced apart from each other in the direction of the insertion movement E.

[0075] The locking connection 20 comprises a locking tab 21, which is arranged on the profile element-side connecting part 9, and a locking recess 22, which is arranged on the sanitary article-side connecting part 8. In the engaged position, the locking tab 21 engages in the locking recess 22, whereby the two connecting parts 8, 9 are mechanically locked together by this engagement. The locked position is stored in the Figures 10 , 12 and 14 shown. A sound-insulating layer 19 is located between the locking tab 21 and the locking recess 22, as described above. In the case of the locking connection 20, the locking tab 21 and the locking recess 22 provide the corresponding contact surface 18.

[0076] In the embodiment shown, the profile element-side connecting part 9 has a receiving space 23, and the sanitary article-side connecting part 8 has an engagement portion 27 that can be inserted into the receiving space 23. The elements for the locking connection 20 are arranged on the side surfaces 24 of the receiving space 23 and the side surfaces 28 of the engagement portion 27. The clear width W of the receiving space 23 becomes smaller in the direction of the insertion movement E. This means that the locking connections 20 that are located behind the other locking connections 20 in the insertion direction are arranged closer to one another.

[0077] Each of the locking tabs 20 is hinged to the corresponding connecting part 9 via a spring section 25. The locking tab forms a free end 26 of the spring section 25. Due to the arrangement of the spring section 25, the locking tab 21 can retract accordingly when locked into the locking recess 22 and then spring into the locking recess 22. In the embodiment shown, the free end 26 of one locking tab 21 extends in the direction of the insertion movement, and the free end 26 of the other locking tab 21 extends opposite to the insertion direction E.

[0078] Furthermore, the connecting part 8 on the sanitary article side is connected to the sanitary article 6 via a mechanical connection 29. In the embodiment shown, the connecting part 8 on the sanitary article side has corresponding structures for this mechanically secure connection. Here, locking structures 36 are provided, which engage with the sanitary article 6.

[0079] Furthermore, the profile element-side connecting part 9 is also connected to the profile element 3, 4, 5 via a mechanically fixed connection 30. In the Figure 15 It can be clearly seen that the profile element-side connecting part 9 has corresponding locking structures 37 for this mechanically strong connection 30.

[0080] A method for assembling the installation system as described above comprises the following steps: In a first step, the sanitary article side bearing structure 10 and the profile element side bearing structure 11 are connected to each other.
