[0001] The present invention relates to an odor trap for a floor drain in which a water seal is formed in an overflow container.

[0002] From DE 102017 129 108 A1, a system comprising a trap and a receiving body is known. The trap is inserted into the receiving body in an installed state. The trap further comprises an overflow container which, in an installed state, has a rim at its upper end. The trap includes an inlet element that can be inserted into the overflow container and has an inlet rim at its upper end in the installed state. When the inlet element is inserted into the overflow container, the inlet rim is located above the rim of the overflow container.

Claims

1. Odor trap (50) for a floor drain with an inlet (10) having at least one longitudinal side (24a, 24b) and an overflow container (12) which has an overflow edge (60), wherein the inlet (10) dips into the overflow container (12) to form a water seal, wherein the overflow container (12) is detachably fastened to the inlet (10), characterized in that the inlet (10) has a protruding locking pin (32) on its longitudinal side (24a, 24b) and the overflow container (12) has on a longitudinal side (40a, 40b) a receiving portion (46) for the protruding locking pin (32) of the inlet (10) and further a locking device is provided, which has a pivotable latch (44) on the overflow container, which, in order to lock the overflow container (12) and inlet (10) to the locking pin (32), has the receiving portion (46) at its free end, which in a closed position comes to rest on the locking pin.

6. Odor trap (50) according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the inlet (10) has at least one pair of short sides and has at least one protruding fastening pin (30) on each of its short sides.

7. Odor trap (50) according to claim 6, characterized in that the overflow container (12) has a lateral recess (38) on at least one side wall (34), which receives the fastening pins (30).
