Description

[0001] The invention relates to a mobile fence element according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and to a modular barrier fence comprising several such fence elements.

[0002] Mobile, i.e., transportable fence elements are becoming increasingly important and are used, for example, for the temporary screening of demonstrations or for securing stadiums or ships in ports. The particular advantage of such fence elements is their mobility, as they can be erected and dismantled again within a short period of time. Several fence elements are connected together to form a barrier fence. In recent times, surveillance devices such as cameras or motion sensors have also been increasingly used to identify people approaching the barrier fence. However, such surveillance devices require electrical or data cables, which must be laid along the barrier fence or along its base.In the case of mobile fence elements and barrier fences formed from them, these electrical or data cables are often, for reasons of time, only fixed to the outside of the base on the side to be shielded and can therefore be reached from the outside with some skill, so that there is a risk that they can be severed or damaged, for example by sharp-edged tools, and thus the monitoring devices are disabled.

[0003] Fence elements of the generic type for producing a barrier fence are disclosed, for example, in EP 1 945 888 B1. The individual, identically constructed fence elements each comprise a base with at least two pillars, between which a sheet-like structure is arranged. Each of the pillars is inserted into a receiving groove or bore in the base and secured therein. In this case, the sheet-like structure is a metal mesh. The base also has recesses in its bottom area for a lifting device, so that, for example, the lifting fork of an industrial truck can be inserted into these recesses and the fence element can be transported in this way.In the known example, a steel cable is used to connect the individual fence elements to each other. This cable is guided through eyelets on the outside of the base and the tensioning of this cable prevents any unwanted separation of the individual fence elements of the barrier fence.

[0004] The disadvantage of this type of barrier fence is that the installation and fastening of the steel cable connecting the individual fence elements requires considerable additional effort, and handling such a steel cable is relatively difficult. Furthermore, the eyelets used to guide the steel cable can become damaged during transport, rendering them unusable.

[0005] In connection with the Figure 8EP 1 945 888 B1 describes a design variant of a base for a fence element in which a pipe is embedded in the material of the base, which pipe can be used, for example, to lay electrical cables or to guide the previously described cable. A disadvantage, however, is that threading the cables or the cable into the pipe is very complex and requires a lot of time and skill. Another disadvantage with two adjacent fence elements is that a free space remains between the pipes, as they cannot merge seamlessly into one another. However, such a free space carries the risk that the electrical cables routed in the pipe could be damaged or severed by external force.

[0006] A known design of mobile fence elements is described, for example, in DE 10 2015 107 273 B3, the solution for connecting the bases of which can also be used in this case.

[0007] Finally, CN 208885121 U discloses mobile fence elements comprising a base with at least two pillars between which a sheet-like structure is arranged, each of the pillars being inserted into a receiving bore in the base and fixed therein by a material fit. On one side of the mobile fence element to be shielded, the base has a channel designed as an upwardly open receiving groove for receiving cables or tensioning cables, which extends continuously, i.e. along the entire length of the base. It can be inferred from the disclosure content of the document that the channel can be closed. With such a solution, it has proven particularly disadvantageous that the channel for receiving the cables or tensioning cables is designed to be open at the top, which allows moisture to penetrate and can therefore lead to damage to the cables or tensioning cables laid within the channel.Furthermore, the possibility cannot be completely ruled out that unauthorized persons using suitable tools could gain access from the outside of the fence equipped with such fence elements and cause mechanical damage to the cables, so that a fence with such fence elements no longer fulfills its function.

[0008] The invention is based on the object of providing a mobile fence element with a simple structure, wherein by connecting several fence elements within a very short time a modular barrier fence is formed, in which an undesired separation of the fence elements by unauthorized persons is made difficult or impossible and a deliberate damage or destruction of cables or electrical lines for existing monitoring devices is no longer possible.

[0009] The invention solves this problem with the features of independent patent claims 1 and 13.

[0010] Further embodiments of the invention are the subject of the respective subsequent subclaims.

[0011] A mobile fence element comprising a base with at least one recess for a lifting device and at least two pillars between which a sheet-like structure is arranged, wherein each of the pillars is inserted into a receiving groove or into a receiving bore of the base and is fixed therein and the base has on one side, on the side of the mobile fence element to be shielded, a channel designed as an open receiving groove for receiving cables or tensioning cables, which channel extends continuously along the entire length of the base, was further developed according to the invention in particular in such a way that the channel running on the side to be shielded runs horizontally, i.e. transversely to the orientation of the sheet-like structure and is closed and / or closable by a detachably fixed and / or detachably fixable cover.Advantageously, the receiving groove as which the channel is designed is open transversely to the surface structure and / or provided with a groove opening transversely to the surface structure.

[0012] The invention effectively avoids the disadvantages of the prior art described above. Since the channel for accommodating the cables, which can be, for example, electrical or data cables or tensioning cables, is designed as an open, horizontal receptacle, the cables or tensioning cables can be laid very easily within the channel and are reliably protected from unauthorized access. This makes installation of the barrier fence simple and time-saving. Since the channels are incorporated into the bases of the individual fence elements, i.e. as recesses running transversely to the surface structure, they are not accessible from the outside, i.e. from the side to be protected. This makes sabotage of the cables or electrical lines or the tensioning cables a simple and effective way to prevent. The existing cover closes the channel and thus also prevents access.Furthermore, the cover prevents contamination or moisture from affecting the data cables or tension cables laid in the duct. The cables are thus optimally shielded.

[0013] The pillars can be fixed to the base using a material fit, a form fit, or a friction fit. When considering a material fit between the pillar and the base, it is particularly important that the pillars be inserted into the base and connected to the base directly during production. This can easily be achieved, for example, by casting the base. A friction fit connection between the pillar and the base is conceivable.

[0014] In addition, a positive connection between the pillar and base can be created, for example, using a screw connection, which is fundamentally detachable. However, an interlocking connection of the adjacent bases can conceal the screw connection, thus preventing unauthorized loosening - a very significant advantage. Furthermore, security measures are also known for such screw connections, which also prevent unwanted loosening and can be used here if necessary. To facilitate the installation of the barrier fence and to realize a concealed arrangement of the screw connection between the pillar and base, one solution is to have at least one receiving groove directly in the base flange and at least one receiving groove directly in the engagement contour of the base.During the manufacture of the barrier fence, the ends of the pillars of the fence element are inserted into these receiving grooves and, for example, screwed to the base or fixed by casting in the receiving grooves.

[0015] The bases used can be made of various materials. A very simple design variant, for example, is to cast the bases from concrete. The solution according to the invention can be implemented very easily by forming the channel within the base during production.

[0016] A first embodiment of the invention is that the cover is fixed in the channel, meaning it cannot be removed from the channel without a certain amount of effort. This measure also contributes to increased safety and prevents access to the cables or tensioning cables laid in the channel.

[0017] Thus, according to a further development of the invention, the cover can be fixed in the channel, for example, with a positive or non-positive fit. One variant of a positive connection is a screw connection. In other words, screws are inserted through the cover into the channel base and screwed in there. To facilitate the insertion of the screws, dowel blocks made of wood, aluminum, or plastic can be provided, which are molded or inserted into the base during manufacture. Spacer sleeves or spacers inserted into the channel prevent damage to the cover when the screws are tightened, if necessary.

[0018] Another very advantageous way of securing the cover in the channel is to have a toothed geometry or a tooth-like snap-in or locking contour on its outer surface, which rests against the inner wall of the channel. This toothed geometry or locking contour makes it difficult to remove the cover, thus preventing unauthorized access to the channel.

[0019] A continuation of the previously described solution concept is the design of the toothed geometry or the tooth-like snap-in or locking contour of the cover to be complementary to the inner walls of the channel, in particular with a matching contour. In other words, the inner wall of the channel also has a complementary locking contour or toothed geometry, so that the cover and the inner geometry of the channel interlock when the cover closes the channel.

[0020] Since concrete is a very hard, brittle, and sometimes sharp-edged material, a further embodiment of the invention involves inserting a profile element into the channel that lines the channel and is closable and / or sealed by the cover or a cover. The profile element and the cover can particularly advantageously be simple plastic or aluminum molded parts. The only important thing is that the profile element corresponds to the inner contour of the channel and, just like the cover, has an inner surface that prevents damage to the cables or tensioning cables laid in the channel. The cover also ensures that the cables or tensioning cables laid within the channel are correctly laid and secured and cannot undesirably become loose from the support created by the channel.Such a design of the channel with a profile element and a cover also represents a significant simplification with regard to the installation of the cables or tensioning ropes and thus of the entire barrier fence and results in considerable time savings.

[0021] According to a further development of the invention, a positive or non-positive connection should exist between the profile element and the cover when the channel is closed. Possible options include locking or snap-in connections, for which both the profile element and the cover have interacting elements.

[0022] The profile elements can be inserted into the base channel in a material-to-material manner, for example by means of an adhesive connection or a form-fitting connection. For example, the profile elements are fixed in the channel by means of a material-to-material connection. An improved embodiment of the invention, however, can be seen in the provision of dowel blocks in the base channel for fixing the profile elements or the cover. The dowel blocks are made of materials suitable for screw connections. For example, the dowel blocks can be made of wood, aluminum, or hard plastic and, in particularly advantageous versions, have threads corresponding to the screws. This makes the installation of the profile elements within the base channel easy and can be implemented in a short time.

[0023] As previously mentioned, the base can be constructed as a single concrete segment. An alternative design for the base is for it to be a fillable hollow body. This allows the base to be made of sheet metal or plastic, for example, and then filled with sand or similar materials on site until it reaches the weight required for the safety of the barrier fence. This facilitates the transport of the individual bases or fence elements, as the overall weight of the fence elements is reduced until a barrier fence is constructed.

[0024] As is well known, the surface structure of the fence element used here can be a panel, a slatted, lattice, or mesh structure. If a panel is used as a surface structure, for example, it can also be used as an advertising medium or to convey information, so that, for example, slides can be projected onto such a panel. Furthermore, a panel also provides optimal privacy.

[0025] As has already been emphasized several times, barrier fences of the type in question here are predominantly used to shield security-relevant areas. Therefore, it must be ensured in every case that the individual fence elements cannot be separated from one another, even by the use of force. For this reason, according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base has a base flange on one of its end faces and an engagement contour on the end face opposite the base flange, so that the base flange of one of at least two interconnected fence elements can be inserted with a form fit into the engagement contour of another fence element arranged adjacent to this fence element. This form fit connection ensures that the fence elements cannot be separated from the side to be protected, even with the use of tools and / or force.

[0026] A special embodiment of the solution described above consists in the fact that the base flange and the engagement contour of two adjacent fence elements are designed to engage with each other in a toothed manner. Since the base is crucial for the stability of the fence element and thus of the entire barrier fence, it has a suitable weight that must be sufficient to absorb or counteract forces acting on the fence system, such as those that can arise from wind or the effects of force. The high weight of the base also has the advantage that the individual fence elements cannot be easily separated from one another. If the previously mentioned toothed connection is also provided, this can improve the connection between the bases and prevent unwanted separation of the fence system by unauthorized persons.

[0027] According to the present invention, a modular barrier fence consists of several interconnected, mobile fence elements, as described in detail above. It is particularly important that the channels, particularly in the positively connected bases, of two, preferably adjacent and / or interconnected fence elements directly adjoin one another, thus forming a continuous channel along the barrier fence.

[0028] This shows the key advantage of the inventive design of the fence elements with a channel designed as an open receiving groove. If, for example, very long barrier fences are erected, correspondingly long cables or tensioning cables must also be laid. In the document EP 1 945 888 B1, discussed in connection with the description of the prior art, it was proposed to embed pipes in the concrete base and to lay the cables or tensioning cables inside the pipes. The effort required for this is considerable, and if individual fence elements need to be repaired, the entire tensioning cable or the entire length of the cables must first be removed from the pipes in order to remove an individual fence element from the barrier fence and replace it with a new one, for example. This is no longer necessary with the invention. Thanks to the open design of the channel, even a single fence element can be easily removed from the barrier fence and replaced with a new one. To do so, simply open the channel in the affected section, remove the cover, and remove the cable or tensioning rope from the channel. Therefore, no further costs are required for repair or replacement.

[0029] However, the barrier fence according to the invention also has further, very important features. According to one embodiment of the invention, the barrier fence has at least one camera base on its shielded side, with engagement geometries corresponding to the bases, which is equipped with a mast for monitoring devices and / or a control cabinet.

[0030] To avoid unnecessarily complicating the installation of the barrier fence due to the use of camera bases, a further development of the invention provides for the camera base to have cable routing channels to continue the base's ducts. Thus, such a camera base has the same features as the bases of the other fence elements. The camera base can also include pillars and a flat structure arranged between the pillars, similar to the previously described fence elements. This allows the camera base to be easily integrated into the barrier fence without requiring any additional expenditure.

[0031] Since the camera base must accommodate various electrical cables, it is advantageous in this particular case if the cable routing channels consist of pipes inserted or molded into the camera base. These are preferably plastic pipes, as these avoid the risk of damage to the installed cables.

[0032] A further special feature of a barrier fence according to the invention is that it has corner bases at the corners with channels corresponding to the bases or camera bases and with, in particular, corresponding engagement contours that allow the lateral connection of two fence elements at an angle, preferably at a right angle, to each other. This simple design not only enables a straight-line design of the barrier fence, but also allows it to be erected around corners. This makes the barrier fence very flexible overall and adaptable to different local conditions.

[0033] In this sense, according to one embodiment of the invention, it is proposed that the barrier fence has left and right corner bases in order to further improve the previously described flexibility of its design.

[0034] As previously described in connection with the fixation of profile elements within the channel of a base, it is also advisable for the execution of the channels of the corner bases and camera bases to provide an adhesive connection or dowel blocks here or in these channels to fix the profile elements or the covers, so that profile elements can also be inserted into these channels and closed with suitable covers. Alternatively, the profile elements can be fixed in the channel, for example, using a material-to-material connection.

[0035] In particularly critical areas, it is unfortunately sometimes necessary to additionally equip a barrier fence with barbed wire or razor wire. For this purpose, according to one embodiment of the invention, the pillars of the fence elements have a Y-shape or a T-shape, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the barrier fence. The spread created by the Y-shape in the upper end area of the pillars allows for simplified insertion of the barbed wire, which is provided pre-assembled on rolls and thus has a spiral shape. The barbed wire or razor wire is thus simply inserted into the Y-shape of the pillars. However, the pillars can also have a T-shape in addition to the Y-shape or be simply angled.

[0036] The aforementioned design of the base with recesses in the floor allows, for example, the use of an industrial truck, whose lifting forks can be inserted directly into the recesses to enable the transport of the fence elements and the assembly of the barrier fence consisting of several fence elements. Accordingly, the lifting device can be an industrial truck or a crane. According to one embodiment of the invention, the camera bases and the corner bases also have at least one recess for a lifting device. To facilitate the transport of the individual fence elements and also to enable the assembly of the barrier fence, hooks or eyes can of course also be incorporated into the base. In particular, hooks or eyes incorporated into the base can be used for transport by a crane, the boom of which has carrying devices compatible with the hooks or eyes.

[0037] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The exemplary embodiments shown do not represent a limitation to the variants shown, but serve merely to explain a principle of the invention.

[0038] Identical or similar components are always designated by the same reference numerals. To illustrate the functionality of the invention, the figures show only highly simplified schematic diagrams, omitting components that are not essential to the invention. However, this does not mean that such components are not present in a solution according to the invention.

[0039] It shows: Figure 1 : a spatial representation of a barrier fence consisting of several fence elements, Figure 2: the view of a barrier fence from the side to be shielded, according to the direction of arrow II from Figure 1 , Figure 3 : a base of a fence element in a side view, Figure 4 : a view in the direction of arrow IV Figure 3 on the pedestal, Figure 5 : a view of a channel equipped with a profile element and a cover in a sectional view according to the arrow V of Figure 2 , Figure 6 : a profile element for use in a channel, Figure 7 : a cover for connecting to the profile element and closing the channel, Figure 8 : a camera base that has not yet been cast, Figure 9 : a corner base as right-hand version, Figure 10 : a corner base as a left version, Figure 11 : a view of a channel closed only by a cover in a sectional view in the longitudinal direction of the channel, Figure 12: a special design of a lid as a separate individual part in perspective view and Figure 13 : a view of a channel closed only by a cover in a sectional view viewed in the longitudinal direction of the channel with an additional screw connection of the cover.

[0040] In the Figure 11 shows a three-dimensional representation of a barrier fence 16 consisting of several fence elements 1. The barrier fence 16 is composed of several fence elements 1 of different lengths, which in turn consist of a base 2 on the ground, which in the example shown has receiving grooves 7 at its front ends, into which pillars 4 and 5 are inserted and fixed. Between the pillars 4 and 5, a sheet structure 6 is arranged, which in this case is a steel grid. Viewed in the longitudinal direction of the barrier fence 16, the pillars 4, 5 each have a Y-shape so that a barbed wire 31 can be inserted into the resulting space, which prevents the barrier fence 16 from being climbed over. The barrier fence 16 also has various monitoring devices attached to the upper end of a mast 18.For example, a motion sensor 19 and a surveillance or infrared or thermal camera 20 are shown there. Of course, other types of surveillance devices can also be used on such a mast 18 in any combination. The surveillance devices 19, 20 require electrical cables or data cables, which must be laid within the mast 18 and also along the barrier fence 16, specifically on the side opposite the area to be shielded. To prevent such electrical or data cables from being damaged or severed by sharp-edged tools in the event of violent attacks on the barrier fence 16, a channel 8 designed as an open receiving groove is inserted into the base 2 of the fence elements 1. This channel is lined with profile elements 10 in a manner described in more detail below to prevent damage to the electrical or data cables. In the area of the mast 18 for the monitoring devices 19, 20, it is generally necessary to provide a control cabinet 21. This control cabinet 21 is used in the . Figure 1In the embodiment of a barrier fence 16 shown, the camera is arranged on a camera base 17, which also accommodates the mast 18. The fence element on which the control cabinet 21 is arranged has a smaller width than the other fence elements 1 of the barrier fence 16 shown. Since the bases 2 of the fence elements 1 are usually cast from a concrete material, the outwardly open channel 8 can be easily incorporated into the base 2 during its manufacture. Furthermore, each existing base 2 has recesses 3 on its bottom side, which are designed for the engagement of a lifting device. The lifting device can be, for example, an industrial truck, i.e. a forklift truck, whose forks engage in the recesses 3 in order to be able to lift and transport the corresponding fence element 1. This also results in the mobility of the individual fence element 1.

[0041] The Figure 2illustrates the context in which the description of the Figure 1 shown barrier fence 16 in a perspective corresponding to the arrow II in Figure 1 corresponds.

[0042] From the Figure 3 a base 2 of a fence element 1 is shown as a separate individual part in a side view. From this view it is clear that the channel 8 is designed as an open receiving groove. In the illustration of the Figure 3no profile elements 10 are inserted into the channel 8, so that the dowel blocks 11 inserted therein are visible. The dowel blocks 11 are used to fasten the profile elements 10 in the channel. They facilitate the fixing of the profile elements 10 with screws or other fastening means, such as clamps or rivets. The dowel blocks 11 can be made of hard plastic or wood, for example. When the base 2 is manufactured from concrete, the dowel blocks 11 are already inserted into the base 2 during the casting process. The base 2 also has different engagement geometries on its end faces 12 and 13. For example, a base flange 14 is formed on the end face 12, while an engagement contour 15 in the form of a recessed geometry matching the base flange 14 is provided on the end face 13.In this way, several bases 2 can be coupled together in a form-fitting manner in the longitudinal direction, whereby the connection can also be designed in a toothed manner.

[0043] From the Figure 4 a view in the direction of arrow IV Figure 3 on the base 2. The illustration illustrates in an improved manner the described engagement geometry of the base 2, consisting of engagement contours 15 and base flanges 14, which engage with each other when several bases 2 are arranged in a row. Figure 4 The previously described grooves 7 for inserting pillars 4 and 5 are also clearly visible.

[0044] The Figure 5 allows a view of a channel 8 equipped with a profile element 10 and a cover 9 in a sectional view according to the direction of the arrow V from Figure 2The profile element 10 has an external geometry corresponding to the cross-section of the channel 8, allowing it to be easily inserted into the channel 8. The previously described dowel blocks 11 also enable reliable fixation of the profile element 10 in the channel 8. After the electrical or data cables have been inserted into the channel 8, the channel 8 is closed by the cover 9. For this purpose, the profile element 10 and the cover 9 have corresponding engagement geometries.

[0045] The Figure 6shows a profile element 10 for use in a channel 8. This is a one-piece plastic or aluminum molded part with a U-shaped cross-section. Accordingly, the profile element 10 has two vertical legs 25 on the sides, each of which has a groove 26 at its outer end, which merges into a hook-shaped contour 27. On the inside, the end sections of the vertical legs 25 each have a ribbed structure 28.

[0046] The one in the Figure 7 The cover 9 shown is suitable for the profile element 10 according to Figure 6 designed so that it has a leg on its underside, which is not visible in the assembled state and which, corresponding to the ribbed structure 28 of the profile element 10, has a similar ribbed structure 29. The claw 30 further formed on the cover 9 engages in the groove 26 of the profile element 10 when the cover 9 is assembled.

[0047] The description of the Figure 1 The already mentioned camera base 17 is available in a not yet cast version in the Figure 8 This allows a view into the hollow interior of the camera base 17, which shows that it has various cable routing channels 22, which are used to guide electrical or data cables to the control cabinet 21 or to the mast 18. When casting the camera base 17, dowel blocks 11 or screw sleeves can also be provided in order to be able to mount the control cabinet 21 on the camera base in a simplified manner after the completion of the camera base 17. The camera base 17 also has several recesses 3 on its bottom side, which serve to engage the lifting forks of a lifting device. Furthermore, the illustration of the Figure 8It is also apparent that the camera base 17 is also equipped with engagement contours 14 and 15, which enable direct coupling with the bases 2 of the barrier fence 16.

[0048] The Figure 9 and 10 show two special base design variants. These are corner bases 23 and 24, which, as the so-called left-hand and right-hand versions, allow the barrier fence 16 to be guided at an angle, preferably at a right angle, so that fence corners can also be created. The corner bases 23 and 24 also have suitable engagement contours 14 and 15 for connection to the bases 2. Dowel blocks 11 are also provided in the channel 8, which is only vaguely visible.

[0049] From the Figure 111 shows a sectional view of a channel 8 closed only by a cover 9, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the channel 8. The cover 9 is a one-piece plastic or aluminum molded part with a U-shaped cross-section. Accordingly, the cover 9 has two vertical lateral legs, each of which has a toothed geometry 32 on its outer side or outer surface.

[0050] The Figure 12 exposes the lid 9 Figure 11 once again as a separate individual part, whereby the toothing geometry 32 present on the outer surface of the lateral legs is more clearly visible.

[0051] The design variant of a partially shown base 2 in Figure 13shows a view of a channel 8 closed only by a cover 9 in a sectional view viewed in the longitudinal direction of the channel 8 with an additional screw connection of the cover 9, wherein a screw 33 is screwed from the outside of the cover 9 through it into the channel base 34. To facilitate the screw connection, a dowel 11 made of wood, aluminum or plastic is embedded in the channel base 34 of the channel 8, into which the screw 33 engages and is thus fixed.
