Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a reveal arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1 as well as a reveal profile and a plastering strip arrangement for forming the reveal arrangement.
[0002] A generic reveal arrangement is known from DE 10 2019 122 600 A1. A first partial reveal surface is formed by a reveal cheek. The reveal cheek, together with an outer profile, forms a functional unit in the form of a facing panel arrangement. Viewed in the wall thickness direction, the reveal cheek predominantly forms a reveal surface. A second partial reveal surface is formed by a second part of the functional unit, in particular by the outer part. The outer part has a limiting web and a retaining web, the limiting web forming the second partial reveal surface. A plastering bead is mounted on the retaining web, touching the limiting web. A free end of the limiting web forms a plastering edge.
[0003] Such an arrangement has proven effective. However, there remains a need to provide improved prevention of cracks in the plaster and to reduce, and ideally avoid, soiling of visible surfaces during plastering.
[0004] Therefore, the object of the invention is to provide a reveal arrangement for forming a reveal surface for a wall opening, in which the tendency for cracking of a plaster layer is minimized. Furthermore, the object of the invention is to provide a reveal arrangement that is less susceptible to soiling during plastering.
[0005] With regard to the reveal profile, the object of the invention is to provide a suitable design of a reveal profile for forming a reveal arrangement according to the invention.
[0006] With regard to the plastering bead arrangement, the objective is to specify a plastering bead arrangement that is self-supporting, independent of a reveal profile. In particular, a plastering bead arrangement should be specified that contributes to solving the problems of the reveal arrangement according to the invention.
[0007] The problems relating to the jamb arrangement are solved by a jamb arrangement having the features of claims 1 and 13. Advantageous embodiments of the jamb arrangements are specified in the claims dependent on claim 1 and claim 14.
[0008] The requirements regarding the reveal profile are met by a reveal profile with the features of claim 17. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.
[0009] With regard to the tasks concerning the plastering bead arrangement, the aforementioned tasks are solved by a plastering bead arrangement having the features of claim 21. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.
[0010] In a generic reveal arrangement for forming a reveal surface for a wall opening, a first partial reveal surface of the reveal surface is formed at least partially, and in particular predominantly, in a wall thickness direction by at least one functional unit or at least a part thereof. According to the invention, such a reveal arrangement is further developed in that, for forming a second partial reveal surface, in particular not formed by the functional unit, a reveal profile is provided, which has at least one cover leg for forming the second partial reveal surface and at least one free edge or a free end, wherein at least the at least one free edge or the free end, in particular the entire reveal profile, is arranged spaced apart without contact from a plastering bead arrangement, in particular without contact with a plastering bead of the plastering bead arrangement.
[0011] The reveal arrangement according to the invention achieves a mechanically decoupled arrangement of a reveal profile relative to a plastering rail arrangement, so that, for example, thermally induced stresses occurring during operation due to unequal expansion of the reveal profile and the plaster layer or the plastering rail arrangement do not lead to undesirable cracks in the plaster layer, or at least to a significantly reduced extent.
[0012] In a particular embodiment of the reveal arrangement, the reveal profile has an end leg which is angled in cross-section relative to the cover leg and which has at least one free edge formed by a free end of the end leg or by a transition area between the cover leg and the end leg.
[0013] This allows for a visually appealing, "closed" corner transition between the plastering strip and the reveal profile or between the plaster layer and the reveal profile, even though there is a gap between these components.
[0014] Advantageously, the plastering bead is part of a plastering bead arrangement which supports the plastering bead independently of the reveal profile and, in particular, the plastering bead arrangement forms an independent load-bearing path for the plastering bead. The plastering bead arrangement is connected to the functional unit for this purpose.
[0015] This measure succeeds in decoupling the mechanical forces acting on the plastering strip from the reveal profile and in creating an independently load-bearing structure for the plastering strip.
[0016] To create a visually appealing reveal finish, the cover leg of the reveal profile extends in the wall thickness direction at least over a partial thickness of a plaster layer or at least over a thickness of an insulation layer and the partial thickness of the plaster layer.
[0017] Preferably, the free edge or free end is arranged offset relative to a plaster edge of the plastering strip towards the functional unit.
[0018] This causes the free edge or free end to be set back relative to the plaster edge of the plastering strip, thus preventing the free edge or free end of the reveal profile from becoming dirty during plastering work.
[0019] Advantageously, the free edge or free end points towards a groove in the plastering strip that corresponds to the free edge and / or projects a short distance into the groove without contact, i.e. without touching the plastering strip.
[0020] This measure ensures, on the one hand, a visually appealing, i.e., visually closed, arrangement of the reveal profile relative to the plaster layer or the plastering strip, even though these components do not touch. Furthermore, it is advantageous that this allows for the formation of a gap, in particular an air gap, an air gap seal, or a labyrinth seal, which permits relative movement due to the different thermal expansion rates of the components involved.
[0021] In a particularly simple embodiment, a leg forming the free edge of the reveal profile together with the plastering strip, in particular the corresponding groove of the plastering strip, forms an air gap, an air gap seal or a labyrinth seal.
[0022] Advantageously, a boundary contour of the plaster layer pointing towards the reveal is formed completely by the plastering bead or by the arrangement of plastering beads.
[0023] This advantageously means that the reveal profile does not need to be present at the time of plastering to form a plaster edge or to provide mechanical support for the plastering bead. It can be installed afterwards, as the reveal profile does not provide support for the plastering bead. This further reduces the risk of the reveal profile becoming soiled during plastering.
[0024] The reveal arrangement according to the invention is particularly suitable if the functional unit is a roller shutter box, a guide rail unit, a cover shell arrangement or at least a part thereof.
[0025] To minimize the number of parts, the reveal profile can be connected to the functional unit in one piece.
[0026] To enable the installation of the reveal profile after completion of the plastering work and to facilitate the replacement of the reveal profile in case of maintenance, the reveal profile can be detachably connected to the functional unit, for example with a clip connection, a clamp connection, a plug connection or a toggle bayonet connection.
[0027] To create a visually appealing, step-free visible surface of the reveal of the wall opening, it is advantageous that a reveal-side outer surface of the cover leg, viewed in the wall thickness direction W, is aligned with a reveal-side outer surface of the functional unit.
[0028] Furthermore, the problems relating to the reveal arrangement are solved by a reveal arrangement according to the invention, in which the plastering bead arrangement comprises a receiving profile for holding an expansion compensation profile, the expansion compensation profile and the plastering bead, wherein the plastering bead has at least one retaining web, and the expansion compensation profile has or forms a clamping device which is designed and configured to cooperate with the retaining web of the plastering bead, clamping it in place.
[0029] This variant of the reveal arrangement makes it possible to create an independent support structure for the plastering bead and thus for the layered structure consisting of the insulation layer and the plaster layer. This structure is suitable for being supported by a functional unit located further inside the reveal. This allows the reveal profile to be mechanically decoupled from the plastering bead, thereby reducing or preventing potential cracking caused by differing thermal expansion rates between the reveal profile and the plastering bead arrangement or the plaster layer.
[0030] The clamping device can be designed in a particularly simple way as a clamping slot of the expansion compensation profile.
[0031] In particular, with this embodiment the clamping device and the expansion compensation profile can advantageously be formed in one piece.
[0032] Advantageously, the expansion compensation profile is made of a material that is more elastic and / or less deformable than the material of the receiving profile and the material of the retaining web of the plastering strip, in particular a plastic, e.g. an elastomer.
[0033] Thus, by elastic deformation of the relatively more elastic and / or softer material, a pluggable clamp for the retaining web of the plastering strip can be provided in a simple manner.
[0034] Advantageously, the receiving profile for forming the independent load-bearing path for the plastering strip has fastening devices for attaching the receiving profile to counter-fastening devices, which are arranged in particular on the functional unit or a part thereof.
[0035] These fastening devices enable a load-bearing connection of the plastering strip arrangement to the functional part or a part thereof.
[0036] A reveal profile according to the invention for forming a reveal arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that the reveal profile has at least one cover leg and a free edge or a free end, wherein the cover leg is designed and configured to form a second partial reveal surface in the intended use of the reveal profile, and at least the free edge or the free end, in particular the entire reveal profile, is designed and configured for a non-contacting, spaced arrangement relative to the plastering bead in the intended use of the reveal profile. With the reveal profile according to the invention, the advantages of the reveal arrangement according to the invention can be achieved in a particularly simple manner.
[0037] In an advantageous embodiment, the reveal profile comprises a fastening device for detachable attachment to a corresponding counter-fastening device of the functional unit or at least to a part thereof.
[0038] This type of fastening system makes it possible, in particular, to mount the reveal profile only after the plastering work is complete, thus preventing dirt from getting into the profile during the plastering process. Furthermore, the reveal profile can be easily replaced in case of maintenance, for example, if it becomes scratched or otherwise damaged over time.
[0039] In a particular embodiment, the reveal profile for forming the free edge has an end leg that is bent relative to the cover leg.
[0040] This allows for the creation of visually closed-looking gaps, gap seals and / or labyrinth seals between the reveal profile and adjacent components, such as a plastering strip or a plastering edge, in a particularly simple manner.
[0041] In another embodiment, the free edge is formed by an outer edge of a transition area between the cover leg and the end leg.
[0042] This measure also allows for a visually unobtrusive and therefore visually appealing design of the area between the plastering strip and the reveal profile, where the plastering strip and the reveal profile come closest to each other.
[0043] A plastering bead arrangement according to the invention for forming a reveal arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that the plastering bead arrangement comprises a receiving profile, an expansion compensation profile and a plastering bead, wherein the expansion compensation profile is held in a load-bearing manner by means of the receiving profile and wherein the expansion compensation profile has or forms a clamping device which is designed and configured for clamping a retaining web of the plastering bead.
[0044] This arrangement provides a self-supporting structure for the plastering bead, allowing it to be positioned independently of components that contribute in any way to the visual design of the reveal's inner surfaces. Such components of a reveal arrangement, which contribute to the final visual impression of the reveal surface, can thus be effectively protected from soiling caused by plastering work.
[0045] Furthermore, the plastering bead arrangement according to the invention makes it possible to implement the reveal arrangement according to the invention in a simple manner, thus preventing unwanted cracking in the plaster layer due to differing thermal expansion. The plastering bead arrangement according to the invention allows for a mechanically decoupled arrangement of a reveal profile.
[0046] In one embodiment, the clamping device is a clamping slot of the expansion compensation profile s.
[0047] This allows for a particularly simple, especially one-piece, design of the expansion compensation profile to provide the clamping device.
[0048] In one embodiment, the plastering strip arrangement is designed such that the expansion compensation profile is made of a material that is more elastic and / or less deformable than the material of the receiving rail and the material of the retaining web of the plastering strip.
[0049] By selecting a material that is more elastic and / or less deformation-resistant relative to the surrounding materials and the materials to be clamped, it is particularly possible to effectively establish and maintain a clamping effect in the long term.
[0050] In one embodiment, the receiving profile has fastening devices for attaching the receiving profile to counter-fastening devices, which are arranged in particular on the functional unit.
[0051] This allows a self-supporting load-bearing path to be easily created by directly connecting the receiving profile to the functional unit or to a part thereof, independent of a reveal profile or independent of a component forming a reveal surface.
[0052] In a particular embodiment of the plastering bead arrangement, the retaining web of the plastering bead is displaceable relative to the expansion compensation profile at least in one depth direction, in particular in one depth and one longitudinal direction of the clamping slot, under elastic deformation of the expansion compensation profile and / or by overcoming a clamping force.
[0053] This allows for the advantageous compensation of different thermal expansions between the plaster layer and the functional unit or part thereof.
[0054] The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. The drawings show: Figure 1: showing a vertical cross-section of a first embodiment of the reveal arrangement according to the invention, the reveal profile and the plastering strip arrangement according to the invention, using the lintel of a wall opening as an example; Figure 2: a detail I from Figure 1 in an enlarged perspective partial sectional view; Figure 3: a horizontal cross-section of a second embodiment of the reveal arrangement according to the invention, showing the reveal profile and the plastering strip arrangement according to the invention, using the example of a facing shell arrangement, which are arranged on lateral, vertically extending reveal boundaries and form the lateral reveals in a wall opening; Figure 4: a detail III from Figure 3 in enlarged view; Figure 5: the embodiments according to Figure 1 or 2in a pre-assembly position before the application of an insulation layer and a plaster layer;
[0055] Figure 1 Figure 1 shows a first embodiment of the reveal arrangement 1 according to the invention, utilizing a plastering strip arrangement 15 according to the invention and a reveal profile 12 according to the invention, using the example of a vertical cross-section through the lintel of a wall opening 2, in particular a window opening or a door opening. A first partial reveal surface 3.1 of a reveal surface 3, which extends in a wall thickness direction W, is formed at least partially, in particular predominantly, by a functional unit 4. The functional unit 4 is, as in the embodiment according to Figure 1, Figure 1A roller shutter box 5 is shown. Inside the roller shutter box 5, a winding shaft 6 for a roller shutter curtain 7 is arranged in a known manner. The roller shutter box 5 has an inspection cover 8 on the reveal side. The inspection cover 8 is part of the roller shutter box 5 and, as part of it, forms the first partial reveal surface 3.1 with an outer surface 37 on the reveal side.
[0056] An insulation layer 10 is arranged on an outer wall 9 of the roller shutter box 5. A plaster layer 11 follows the insulation layer 10 in the direction towards the outside of the wall.
[0057] A second partial reveal surface 3.2, which together with the first partial reveal surface 3.1 forms the reveal surface 3, is in the embodiment according to Figure 1The reveal profile 12 forms the reveal. The reveal profile 12 has a cover leg 13, the outer surface 36 of which, facing the reveal, forms the second partial reveal surface 3.2. The reveal profile 12 has a free edge 14, which is spaced apart from a plastering bead arrangement 15 without contact. In particular, the free edge 14, and especially preferably the entire reveal profile 12, is spaced apart from a plastering bead 16 of the plastering bead arrangement 15 without contact. The plastering bead 16 has a plaster edge 17, up to which the plaster layer 11 is applied. Furthermore, the plastering bead 16 has a reinforcing mesh 18 in a known manner, which is embedded in the plaster layer 11 as reinforcement to reduce cracking. Furthermore, the plastering strip 16 has a retaining web 20, wherein the retaining web 20 is clamped in an expansion compensation profile 21, in particular in a clamping device 22 of the expansion compensation profile 21.
[0058] The expansion compensation profile 21 sits in a receiving profile 23, wherein the receiving profile 23 has fastening devices 24 which are connected to counter fastening devices 25 which are arranged on the functional unit 4 or a part thereof, for example the outer wall 9 of the functional unit 4.
[0059] Further details of this embodiment will be provided in connection with Figure 2 They can be described there, as they are more visible due to the enlarged display.
[0060] The reveal profile 12 has an end leg 30 which is bent relative to the cover leg 13 and whose free end 31 points towards a groove 32 of the plastering bead 16. In a particular embodiment, the free end 31 of the end leg 30 can also project a short distance into the groove 32, although there is no contact between the reveal profile 12 and the plastering bead 16. Thus, there is always a gap greater than zero between the plastering bead 16 and the reveal profile 12, so that a gap 33, in particular an air gap, an air gap seal, or a labyrinth seal, is formed.
[0061] The formation of the gap 33, which can be designed as an air gap, an air gap seal, or a labyrinth seal, or can act as such, ensures decoupling between the reveal profile 12 and the plastering bead 16, and thus also mechanical decoupling between the reveal profile 12 and the plaster layer 11. This prevents any differences in thermal expansion that may occur between the plaster layer 11, the plastering bead 16, and the reveal profile 12 in the installed state from generating mechanical stresses that would be transferred into the plaster layer 11. This prevents cracking in the plaster layer 11. A larger, and in any case relevant, difference in thermal expansion must be expected in this case, since the reveal profile 12, like other components of, for example, the functional unit 4, is expediently manufactured as an extruded profile, e.g.,are made of an aluminum alloy, which usually has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the plastering strip 16, which is expediently made of a plastic, or that of the plaster layer 11.
[0062] If desired for aesthetic reasons, the cover leg 13 can easily have a bend 34. A known tilt bayonet connection 35 is provided for attaching the reveal profile 12 to the outer wall 9 of the roller shutter box 5. Of course, the connection of the reveal profile 12 to the roller shutter box 5 or to a part thereof, for example the outer wall 9, is not limited to a tilt bayonet connection 35. All suitable connections, such as clamp connections, clip connections, plug connections, or snap connections, are readily acceptable. An example of a snap connection will be described later in connection with the second embodiment.
[0063] Providing detachable connections has the advantage that the reveal profile 12 only needs to be connected to the roller shutter box 5 or a part thereof, for example the outer wall 9, after the plastering work is completed. This protects the visible surfaces of the reveal profile 12, such as the reveal-side outer surface 36 of the cover leg 13, from dirt during the plastering work. Furthermore, in the event of accidental scratching or other damage, the reveal profile 12 can be easily replaced for maintenance purposes thanks to the detachable connection. Alternatively, instead of a detachable connection, the reveal profile 12 can also be permanently attached to the functional unit 4 or a part thereof, for example by being molded onto it.
[0064] The arrangements described above ensure that the plastering bead 16, which is part of the plastering bead assembly 15, is mechanically supported by the plastering bead assembly 15 independently of the reveal profile 12. The plastering bead assembly 15, comprising at least the plastering bead 16, the expansion joint profile 21, and the receiving profile 23, thus forms an independently load-bearing path for the plastering bead 16 via the fastening device 24 and the counter-fastening devices 25. This path is supported by the functional unit 4 or a part thereof, for example, the outer expansion joint 9. The reveal profile 12 is therefore completely mechanically decoupled from the plastering bead assembly 15. Different expansion rates of the materials involved due to differing thermal influences can therefore not transmit harmful forces from the reveal profile 12 to the plaster layer 11, thus effectively reducing the risk of cracking.
[0065] The cover leg 13 extends in the wall thickness direction W over the thickness of the insulation layer 10 and at least a partial thickness of the plaster layer 11 if an insulation layer 10 is present. If no insulation layer 10 is present, the cover leg 13 extends over at least a partial thickness of the plaster layer 11. This results in the free end 31 of the end leg 30 or a free edge 14 of the reveal profile 12, which has the smallest distance to the plastering bead 16, being set back a short distance in the wall thickness direction W from the plaster edge 17 of the plastering bead 16. This advantageously allows the plastering bead 16 itself to slightly conceal the free edge 14 or the free end 31. This improves the overall visual appearance and the perceived quality.
[0066] A second embodiment of the reveal arrangement 1 according to the invention, the reveal profile 12 according to the invention, and the plastering strip arrangement 15 according to the invention, is described in Figure 3 A horizontal cross-section is shown using the example of a lining assembly 40, which is arranged on lateral, vertically extending reveal boundaries and forms the lateral reveals in a wall opening 2. Such a lining assembly 40 is designed, for example, as a guide rail unit. The lining assembly 40 provides, for example, guide rails 41 for a shading device 42 of a window opening (wall opening 2). Thus, the lining assembly 40 of the second embodiment is shown according to Figures 3 , 4The functional unit 4 is defined in the invention. The facing shell arrangement 40 has a base body 43 which is anchored in the masonry, and a facing shell cover 44, which with its reveal-side outer surface 37 forms the first partial reveal surface 3.1.
[0067] The reveal profile 12 is inserted into the cover plate 44 by means of a snap connection 45 and is detachably fastened there. With regard to the remaining design of the reveal profile 12, the reveal profile 12 of the second embodiment shown here corresponds to the reveal profile 12 of the first embodiment described above, except for the bend 34, which is not present in the second embodiment.
[0068] The cover leg 13, with its reveal-side outer surface 36, forms the second partial reveal surface 3.2, wherein the second partial reveal surface 3.2 is aligned with the first partial reveal surface 3.1, and thus the reveal-side outer surface of the cover leg 36 and the reveal-side outer surface of the functional unit 37 are aligned with each other. The free edge 14, which in the second embodiment is arranged at the free end 31 of the end leg 30, is positioned at a distance greater than zero from the plastering bead 16, so that the gap 33 is formed (compare detail III according to Figure 4 ).
[0069] The components of the plastering bead arrangement 15, namely the plastering bead 16, the expansion compensation profile 21 and the receiving profile 23, are identical to the corresponding components according to the first embodiment as described in the Figure 1 and 2designed so that the descriptions of the features relating to the first embodiment also apply to the second embodiment.
[0070] The plastering strip arrangement 15 is shown below based on the enlarged detail view according to Figure 4 in addition to the above description in connection with the Figures 1 to 3 described. The ones related to Figure 4 The aforementioned features also apply to the previously described configurations. Conversely, all features described so far are also present in the plaster strip arrangement 15, as shown in the Figure 4 What is depicted has been realized.
[0071] The plastering bead 16 has – as described above – the retaining web 20 and the plastering edge 17. The retaining grid 18 is attached to a support web 50 of the plastering bead 16. The plastering bead 16 is preferably made of a thermoplastic material as an elongated profile rail that extends perpendicular to the plane of the drawing.
[0072] The expansion compensation profile 21 is provided for holding the retaining web 20 of the plastering bead 16. This profile has a clamping slot 51, which forms the clamping device 22, into which the retaining web 20 of the plastering bead 16 can be inserted in a clamping manner. Advantageously, the expansion compensation profile 21 is made of a more flexible and / or elastic material, for example an elastomer or rubber, in order to be able to hold the retaining web 20 under clamping tension.
[0073] The expansion joint profile 21 is also designed as an elongated profile, for example as an extruded profile, and is seated in the receiving profile 23. The receiving profile 23 essentially has a U-shaped cross-sectional form, with locking lugs 60 at the ends of the U-legs. The locking lugs 60 prevent the expansion joint profile 21 from unintentionally slipping out of the receiving profile 23.
[0074] The receiving profile 23 is preferably designed as a continuous cast profile, in particular made of an aluminum alloy or as a plastic extrusion profile.
[0075] In a base area of the U-shaped receiving profile 23, locking arms 61 extend outwards, forming the fastening device 24. The locking arms 61 are designed and configured such that they can be snapped into the corresponding counter-fastening device 25, which is designed, for example, as a C-groove in the base body 43 of the cover shell arrangement 40, i.e., the functional unit 4.
[0076] Thus, the receiving profile 23, the expansion compensation profile 21 held inside the receiving profile 23, and the retaining web 20 as part of the plastering strip 16 form a self-supporting structure, i.e., a load-bearing path, for the plastering strip 16, which is supported on the base body 43 of the facing shell arrangement 40 and thus, in accordance with the invention, on the functional unit 4.
[0077] The receiving profile 23, the expansion compensation profile 21, and the retaining web 20 of the plastering bead 16 can be plugged together in a single common assembly direction M to form the plastering bead assembly 15. Furthermore, the mechanical connection of the plastering bead assembly 15 is advantageously also arranged such that the receiving profile 23 or an entire pre-assembled plastering bead assembly 15 can also be attached to the functional unit 4, for example, to the base body 43, in the assembly direction M. The assembly direction M is preferably aligned parallel to the wall thickness direction W. This ensures particularly simple assembly, as only plug-in operations are required, all of which take place in the same assembly direction M.
[0078] The representation according to Figure 5Figure 1 shows the reveal arrangement 1 according to the invention, in which the reveal profile 12 and the plastering strip arrangement 15 according to the invention are in a pre-assembled state on corresponding functional units 4. The pre-assembled state shown is prior to the application of the insulation layer 10 and the plastering layer 11.
[0079] Although the reveal profile 12 is shown in the pre-assembly state, it can be expediently omitted until the plastering has been completed and thus until the completion of activities that generate a lot of dirt, and only subsequently installed in a dirt-proof manner.
[0080] Starting from the pre-assembly state according to Figure 5 First, the insulation layer 10 (not shown in Figure 5 ) against outward migration 9. The insulating layer 10 (not shown in Figure 5The plastering bead assembly 15 can optionally rest on the mounting rail 23. The plaster layer 11 can then be applied in the usual manner, with the reinforcing mesh 18, which acts as reinforcement, being embedded in the plaster layer 11. The plaster edge 17 of the plastering bead 16 forms a visually appealing plaster finish. Reference symbol list
