Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a door system with a door leaf, a door frame, several door hinges and a protective profile according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] State-of-the-art door systems with protective profiles in the area of the vertically extending secondary closing edge are known. These protective profiles serve as finger protection. A gap between the door leaf and the door frame is at least partially covered when the door is open, preventing a human finger from becoming trapped in this area between the door leaf and the door frame when the door is closed.
[0003] The document US 2016 245015 A1 discloses a door system according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0004] In contrast, the present invention is based on the object of efficiently utilizing the installation space required by the door system.
[0005] This object is achieved by a door system according to claim 1. Embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
[0006] The door system comprises a door leaf, a door frame, several door hinges, and a protective profile. The door leaf is pivotably mounted on the door frame via the door hinges. Each of the door hinges can have several, for example two, hinge rollers. The door leaf can be moved from an open state to a closed state and vice versa by pivoting. The protective profile is arranged between an upper and a lower door hinge and at least partially conceals a gap between the door leaf and the door frame when the door leaf is open.
[0007] The protective profile can preferably be designed as a finger protection profile. This can mean, in particular, that the protective profile reliably prevents a human finger, especially a child's finger, from becoming trapped in the gap between the door leaf and the door frame when the door leaf is moved from the open to the closed state.
[0008] The protective profile can also be arranged above the upper door hinge and / or below the lower door hinge.
[0009] The protective profile has a cavity. In the context of this description, this refers in particular to a space whose greatest dimension is vertical. Furthermore, the cavity can be open at its upper and / or lower ends. Between the upper and lower ends, the cavity can be delimited, in particular, by the protective profile. It can be delimited exclusively by a wall of the protective profile or by the wall of the protective profile, the door frame, and / or the door leaf.
[0010] A drive is located within the cavity, designed to generate the pivoting movement. This drive arrangement is particularly advantageous because the drive is difficult or even impossible for a user to visually detect when using the door. This creates a particularly visually appealing door system. Furthermore, the installation space required for the protective profile is utilized more efficiently. Since the cavity is sufficiently large, the drive can even be used to generate the pivoting movement.
[0011] According to one embodiment of the invention, the protective profile can conceal the door hinges. In this case, the protective profile can extend beyond the upper and lower door hinges. It is possible for the protective profile to be formed in one piece.
[0012] According to one embodiment of the invention, the protective profile can be constructed in multiple parts. These parts can, in particular, be visually similar or identical, thus achieving a visually appealing appearance of the door system.
[0013] According to one embodiment of the invention, the protective profile can be designed as the housing of the drive. In the case of a multi-part protective profile, this can mean, for example, that one of the parts of the protective profile is designed as the housing of the drive. It is possible for this part to be visually indistinguishable from one or more other parts of the protective profile from outside the cavity. This creates a particularly uniform visual appearance of the protective profile with the drive arranged in the cavity.
[0014] According to one embodiment of the invention, the door system can comprise mechanical transmission means. The drive can comprise a shaft. The shaft can be connected to the mechanical transmission means in such a way that the pivoting movement can be caused by a rotation of the shaft. The shaft and the mechanical transmission means can be arranged in the cavity.
[0015] According to one embodiment of the invention, the protective profile can be arranged without offset in a horizontal direction relative to the door hinges.
[0016] Further features and advantages of an embodiment of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing. The same reference numerals are used for identical or similar parts and for parts with identical or similar functions. It shows: Fig. 1 a schematic front view of a door system according to an embodiment of the invention.
[0017] It is not necessary for a device according to the invention to have all of the features described below. It is also possible for a device according to the invention to have only individual features of the exemplary embodiment described below.
[0018] The door system comprises a door leaf 1, a door frame 2, hinges 3, and a protective profile consisting of several parts 4. The door leaf 1 is pivotally mounted on the door frame 2 via the hinges 3 and can be pivoted from an open to a closed position and vice versa. In the open state, there is a gap at the secondary closing edge of the door leaf 1, where the hinges 3 are located, into which a human finger, for example a child's finger, could be inserted without a protective profile. This finger would then be trapped when the door leaf 1 is closed.
[0019] To prevent fingers from getting trapped, the parts 4 of the protective profile at least partially cover the gap at the secondary closing edge when the door leaf 1 is open. A drive is arranged in the cavity of part 4 of the protective profile, which Fig. 1 is concealed by this very part 4. This can preferably be the part 4 that is arranged between the upper door hinge 3 and the lower door hinge 3. Practical tests have surprisingly shown that there is sufficient space to arrange a drive in the cavity with sufficient power to pivot the door leaf 1 from the closed state to the open state and vice versa.
[0020] Cables for the power supply and control of the drive can be routed through parts 4 of the protective profile. In an alternative embodiment, the protective profile is formed as a single piece and extends beyond the door hinges 3. In this embodiment, the cables can be routed to the drive in a particularly unobtrusive manner.
