Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a facade system and a holding part for fastening two visible profiles, with a base plate, with at least one opening provided in the base plate for fastening means for mounting the holding part, with at least one hook-shaped first web protruding from the base plate, which is designed to engage in a longitudinal groove on the lower narrow side of a visible profile and together with the base plate forms a receptacle for the stop-limited storage of the first visible profile received in the receptacle, and with at least one second web protruding from the base plate, which can be attached to the upper narrow side of the second visible profile.
[0002] DE102005002054A1 shows a facade system for fastening visible profiles for wall and / or ceiling cladding, connected via longitudinal tongues and grooves, using retaining parts. For this purpose, the retaining parts engage in the grooves of the visible profiles with a hook-shaped web protruding from the base plate. Furthermore, the hook-shaped web forms a stop-limited support for the visible profile held in the holder in order to absorb heat-induced expansion effects. The retaining parts themselves are mounted to the wall or ceiling via fasteners that engage in their openings. A disadvantage has been found that even with minor dimensional deviations in the visible profiles, for example, caused by manufacturing tolerances, their fastening exhibits a significant amount of play, thus reducing the stability of the device.Material-related shrinkage and swelling - especially after several weather cycles - can also lead to irregular gaps in this type of installation, which can adversely open the cladding and thus endanger its function.
[0003] Furthermore, DE103007056824A1 discloses a retaining element between two visible profiles for facade systems. The retaining element comprises a base plate and two parallel webs projecting from this base plate. A first web is hook-shaped and engages in a longitudinal groove on the lower narrow side of the first visible profile, while the other, second web rests against and is attached to an upper narrow side of the second visible profile. Although this second web can cover the attachment point on the second visible profile, there is an increased risk of splitting the second visible profile at this attachment point due to the driving in of fasteners, which proves particularly detrimental to the stability of the visible profiles and thus to the durability of the facade.
[0004] The invention is therefore based on the object, based on the prior art described above, to create a retaining part that is tolerant of manufacturing and / or temperature-related dimensional deviations in the visible profiles while still ensuring their stable attachment. Furthermore, the retaining part should be able to prevent undesirable gaps between the visible profiles and enable easy handling.
[0005] The invention achieves the stated object in that the holding part has at least one third web protruding from the base plate, wherein the third web, which is designed to engage in a groove on the rear broad side of the second visible profile, together with the second web forms a snap connection for fastening the second visible profile to the holding part.
[0006] If the holding part has at least one third web protruding from the base plate, wherein the third web, which is designed to engage in a groove on the rear broad side of the second visible profile, together with the second web forms a snap connection for attaching the second visible profile to the holding part, a particularly stable connection can be created with a holding part between two adjacent visible elements. In contrast to the prior art, the second visible element can also be held to the holding part without fasteners penetrating the material and thus without damage, meaning that adverse weather influences in the area of the connection points need not be expected. The natural durability and thus also the service life of the visible profiles can be extended in this way.In addition, such a snap connection can significantly counteract the formation of gaps in the visible profiles caused by manufacturing and / or temperature-related dimensional deviations (e.g., due to shrinkage and swelling) – for example, through elastic deformation of the spring-loaded snap element – which can maintain the stability of the visible profiles' technical cladding function. Furthermore, this snap connection can also allow for the relatively easy and quick removal of the visible profiles – for example, for cleaning purposes – thus facilitating the handling of the retaining element and, subsequently, the facade.
[0007] If the second web forms the spring-loaded snap element of the snap connection, the second visible profile can be quickly and easily connected to the retaining part, thus ensuring it is held securely. This is achieved because the spring-loaded action of the snap element compensates for shrinkage and swelling of the retained visible element. Furthermore, the spring-loaded snap element makes it easy to replace damaged visible elements or remove them, for example, for cleaning purposes. This enables a stable and easy-to-handle retaining part.
[0008] Mutual support of the webs during load application, for example, wind loads on the visible profiles, can be achieved if the second web is curved in the opposite direction to the hook-shaped first web. Furthermore, gaps can be compensated for by the mutual bracing, which can contribute to improved cohesion of the visible profiles and increased stability of the support element.
[0009] If the second web is designed to be attached along a lug on the upper narrow side of the second visible profile, the holding surface for the snap connection can be enlarged and thus made more resilient. In particular, if such a lug, provided on the upper narrow side, adjoins the rear broad side of the visible profile, it can be concealed by the holding profile and thus protected from the effects of the weather. In particular, if this web is limited to this area of the lug, shrinkage and swelling of the visible profile held by a snap connection can be permitted in other areas, thus largely relieving the snap connection of any resulting mechanical stresses.
[0010] The snap connection can be designed to be more mechanically resilient if two spaced apart and parallel second webs (9) form the snap connection with the third web.
[0011] If the third bar and the support between the two parallel second bars are provided, the overlapping function of these second bars can significantly improve the hold of the two visible profiles on the support element. The stability of the support element can thus be further increased.
[0012] If the third web is formed by at least two legs offset from each other, especially in the longitudinal direction of the base plate, manufacturing tolerances in the groove on the rear broad side of the second visible profile can be compensated for particularly elegantly. This can also lead to increased tolerance to shrinkage and swelling of the visible profiles, which can further increase the stability of the retaining part.
[0013] The snap connection can be further improved if the base plate ends in at least one tongue extending laterally to the third web. This part of the base plate, which protrudes beyond the third web, can contribute to centering the visible profile in the area of the snap connection and thus prevent unwanted release of the snap connection. This can be further improved if the base plate ends in tongues extending on both sides of the third web, i.e., extending beyond its end.
[0014] If the opening in the base plate is located between the first and second webs, the mounting of the retaining parts—for example, on a wall or ceiling—can be carried out without being hindered by the connecting elements provided for the visible profiles on the retaining part. Furthermore, this design feature allows the retaining part to be connected to a visible profile via its snap connection before its actual installation, for example, on the wall or ceiling. This can significantly simplify the placement and alignment of the retaining parts. The handling of the visible profiles and, consequently, their installation can be further improved.
[0015] The installation of the retaining element, for example, on the wall or via a possible substructure on the wall, can be facilitated if a raised web section of the first web forms a guide for a fastener to be inserted into the opening. This can advantageously assist the positioning and straight insertion of the fastener, for example, into the wall or ceiling. For this purpose, it is conceivable that the raised web section tapers flush with the edge of the opening.
[0016] If the raised section of the first web springs back in the area of the opening in the base plate, the fixing of the base plate with the fastening means is not hindered by the guide formed by the raised web section - in fact, it can even allow fine positioning by moving the base plate.
[0017] If the first bar ends in an outwardly bent bar section, the insertion of the upper visible profile and thus its installation can be made easier. This can improve the handling of the retaining part during installation and also protect the first bar from damage caused by incorrectly positioning the visible profile. The stability of the retaining part can thus be increased.
[0018] The retaining part can be further simplified in the area of the holder if the base plate tapers into a retaining tongue running laterally to the first web, which, together with the first web, forms the holder. If the retaining tongue is designed to continue beyond the first web, the insertion of the upper visible profile and thus its assembly can be further facilitated.
[0019] The receptacle can be made more robust if the base plate has two first webs that are spaced apart from one another and run parallel and ends in a receptacle tongue that runs between these two first webs, in particular continues, and that forms the receptacle together with the two first webs.
[0020] The holding part according to the invention can be used particularly advantageously in a facade system in order to fasten several visible profiles to a wall or to a wall via a substructure.
[0021] The figures show, for example, the subject matter of the invention in more detail using several embodiments. Fig. 1 a sectional view of a facade system attached to a wall with holding parts according to a first embodiment and visible profiles, Fig. 2 an enlarged section of the Fig. 1 , Fig. 3 a top view of the holding part according to Fig. 1, Fig. 4 a plan view of a holding part according to a further embodiment and Fig. 5 a sectional view through the Fig. 4 shown second holding part.
[0022] According to Fig. 1 A sectional view of a facade system 1 is shown, through which several visible profiles 2, 3 or facade profiles are attached to a wall 4. The Fig. 1The visible profiles 2, 3 shown here consist of a solid material, for example of wood or a wood-like material, although hollow profiles are generally also conceivable. To hold the visible profiles 2, 3, the facade system 1 includes a plurality of holding parts 5, each having a base plate 6 with an opening 7 and a plurality of webs 8, 9, 10 protruding from the base plate 6 on the same side of the panel. The opening 7 serves to drive a fastening means 11, namely a countersunk screw as shown here, into the wall 4 in order to mount the holding part 5 to the wall 4. Other means for mounting the base plate 6 to the wall 4, detachable or non-detachable, are, however, also conceivable.
[0023] In general, it is mentioned that the holding part 5 also has a Fig. 1 The substructure, not shown in detail, can be mounted on the wall 4 or on a ceiling, for example.
[0024] The webs 8, 9, 10 serve to hold the visible profiles 2, 3 on the holding part 5 in order to fasten them to the wall 4. For this purpose, the first web 8 is hook-shaped so that it can engage in a longitudinal groove 12 on the lower narrow side 13 of the upper visible profile 2 with respect to the respective holding part 5 and thus hold it. The first web 8, together with the base plate 6, also forms a receptacle 14 for the stop-limited storage of the first visible profile 2 received in the receptacle 14, as shown in the Fig. 2 can be seen in detail. The second web 9, on the other hand, rests against the second visible profile 3 provided below the first visible profile 2 - namely, on its upper narrow side 15, in that this second web 9 is attached to this upper narrow side 15 of the second visible profile 3.
[0025] In contrast to the prior art, however, the second web 9 is not attached to the upper narrow side 15 of the second visible profile 3. According to the invention, in contrast, a snap connection 16 is provided on the holding part 5. For this purpose, the holding part 5 has the third web 10, which engages in a groove 17 on the rear broad side 18 of the second visible profile 3. It is generally mentioned that the rear broad side 18 is opposite the visible broad side of the visible profile 3. This third web 10 now cooperates with the second web 9 to form the snap connection 16 in order to releasably fasten the second visible profile 3 to the holding part 5. Damage to the second visible profile 3, which the fastening or fixing of the web to a visible profile necessarily requires the driving in of fastening means 11, for example, wood screws, clamps, staples, etc., can thus be avoided. This eliminates the risk that the retaining element 5 will adversely affect the stability of the visible profiles 2, 3. Furthermore, this allows for particularly easy installation and maintenance of visible profiles and retaining elements.
[0026] By, as in Fig. 2 As can be seen, the second web 9 forms the resilient snap element of the snap connection 16, a particularly advantageous compensation for shrinkage and swelling of the visible profile 3 is possible, which increases the stability of the facade system 1 for fastening the visible profiles 2, 3.
[0027] In addition, the second web 9 is curved in the opposite direction to the hook-shaped first web 8, in order to brace both brackets of the visible profiles 2, 3 against each other. This compensates for any manufacturing tolerances between the support part 5 and the visible profiles 2, 3, ensuring secure attachment of the visible profiles 2, 3 to the wall 4.
[0028] In addition, the Figures 1 and 2 It can be seen that the visible profiles 2, 3 all have a nose 19 each, which is formed on the upper narrow side 15 of the visible profiles 2, 3 and merges into the rear broad side 18 of the respective visible profile 2, 3. The second web 9, which has a curved profile for this purpose, can now be attached to this nose 19. This increases the positive connection with the visible profile 3, which benefits the mechanical stability of the snap connection 16. The second web 9 is limited to this area of the nose 19, which allows shrinkage and swelling of the visible profile 3 in the areas left free by the web 9 and thus relieves the load on the snap connection 16.
[0029] Again Fig. 3As shown, the third web 10 is formed by two legs 20, 21 of the base plate 6. These legs 20 and 21 are not only offset from each other in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 6, but are also arranged next to each other at a distance. This allows for particularly good compensation of manufacturing tolerances in the groove 17 of the visible profile 3.
[0030] In addition, the second web 9 is designed in two parts in order to grasp the visible profile 3 with a wide grip and thus to improve the support of the visible profile on the holding part 5.
[0031] This snap connection 16 can therefore ensure a particularly secure hold of the visible profile 3 on the holding part 5.
[0032] As well as the Fig. 3As can be seen, the third web 10 and the receptacle 14 are provided between the two parallel—i.e., parallel—second webs 9 in order to utilize the broad support of the retaining part 5 on the visible profile 3 as an anti-twist device for the snap connection and for the receptacle. This provides the retaining part 5 with high stability.
[0033] In addition, the base plate 6 ends, as in Fig. 3 This can be seen in two tongues 22, 23 extending on both sides of the third web 10, which facilitates the handling of the snap connection. This also helps to ensure a secure spacing of the visible profiles 2, 3 from the wall 4 or the substructure.
[0034] Furthermore, it is possible to mount the retaining part 5 to the wall 4 even after it has been snapped to the second visible profile 3, or to the wall 4 via a substructure (not shown in detail). For this purpose, the opening 7 in the base plate 6 is provided between the first web 8 and the second web 9. Furthermore, by attaching the retaining part 5 snapped to the visible profile 3, the retaining part is automatically positioned relative to the other visible profile 2 – which significantly simplifies the installation of the facade system 1.
[0035] The web 8 has a raised web section 24 specially adapted to the fastening means 11. This section runs approximately to the edge of the opening 7 and can thus form a guide for the fastening means 11 to be driven through the opening 7 into the wall 4 or substructure. Furthermore, this raised web section 24 is recessed in the area of the opening 7 of the base plate 6 to provide sufficient space for a wide variety of screw head shapes.
[0036] Accordingly Fig. 2 It can also be seen that the first web 8 ends in an outwardly bent web section 25, thereby forming a guide that facilitates the installation of the upper visible profile 2. Furthermore, this reduces the deformation of the first web 8 during installation of the upper visible profile 2, which promotes the stability of the holder part.
[0037] In addition, the Fig. 3It can be seen that the base plate 5 terminates at one end in a receiving tongue 26. This receiving tongue 26, which runs laterally to the first web 8, forms the receptacle 14 together with the first web 8 and, due to its design continuing to the first web 8, considerably simplifies the insertion of the upper visible profile 2 into the receptacle 14 or forms a guide for this purpose.
[0038] The holder part 5 according to the invention can, for example, be made of a metal material. For example, the holder part 5 can be produced from a formed sheet metal, for example by punching and subsequently bending the various webs 8, 9, 10.
[0039] The after Fig. 4 and 5 The alternative further holding part 50 shown in FIG. 1 has, in contrast to the Figures 1 to 3The first holding part 5 shown has two parallel first webs 8 that are spaced apart from one another. Between the two webs, the base plate 5 extends into a continuing receiving tongue 28, at which the base plate 5 also ends. As already explained in more detail with regard to the holding part 5, the first webs 8 form the receptacle 29 for the other or upper visible profile 2 with the base plate 5 or, in this case, with the receiving tongue 28. Due to the parallel first webs 8, the receptacle 29 offers improved retention of the other visible profile 2 on the holding part 50.
[0040] It goes without saying that with the facade system 1, according to the Figures 1 and 2 instead of the holding parts 5 or in addition to the holding parts 5 also the holding parts 50 according to the Figures 4 and 5 can be used, which was not explained in more detail.
