Abstract
Description
Field of the Invention
[0001] The present invention is in the field of concentrated fabric conditioners. Background of the Invention
[0002] Concentrated fabric conditioners are fabric conditioners containing high levels of fabric softening actives. When traditional fabric softening actives such as those derived from palm oil or tallow are used in high concentrations, they cause unacceptable thickening of the formulations, particularly at low temperatures. This creates a problem for supply chains in colder regions of the world. There is a need to formulate concentrated fabric softening compositions with a suitable viscosity at a wide range of temperatures including low temperatures. WO 97 / 34972 A1 relates to clear and concentrated aqueous fabric softening compositions useful for softening clothes.
