Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] Title: Module for above-ground electrical cable installation
[0003] FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The present invention relates to a module for an above-ground electrical cable installation of an electric vehicle charging infrastructure as well as to a tool for picking up and handling such modules for their installation in an electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
[0005] STATE OF THE ART
[0006] There are many types of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. These infrastructures are typically powered by electrical cables embedded in walls or buried in the ground to supply power to vehicle charging stations.
[0007] Installations with cable trays formed by perforated shelves or ladders are relatively expensive solutions, difficult and time-consuming to implement and requiring support such as a wall or posts.
[0008] In summary, the construction of such infrastructures is relatively complicated and expensive, which limits their development.
[0009] PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The aim of the present invention is to develop a module enabling the simple installation of above-ground electrical cables for an electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
[0011] DISCLOSURE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
[0012] To this end, the invention relates to a module for an above-ground installation of electrical cables for an electric vehicle charging infrastructure, this module being characterized in that it is formed from a rectangular block, longitudinally profiled, with a trapezoidal section comprising: a slab forming the bottom of a longitudinal chute receiving the cables and bordered by: a reinforced front edge and a wall-shaped back with at least one cutout, a rebate formed by the top of the front edge and the back, and a grating coming on top in the rebate.
[0013] The module according to the invention allows for the rapid and simple installation of electrical cables for an electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This above-ground installation is protected without the need to bury, at least partially, the electrical cables or to make grooves and holes in the walls of the infrastructure.
[0014] This installation also has the advantage of being able to be adapted by its layout according to needs and the space available or its evolution.
[0015] Advantageously, the module is made of rubber, including recycled tires. This module thus ensures the recycling of tires and remains recyclable itself.
[0016] According to an advantageous characteristic, the slab has a discontinuous longitudinal partition, delimiting two cavities forming a support at the height of the rebates to receive the grating covering the module and the trunking with the cables.
[0017] The separation into two cavities allows the cables to be separated, for example, into two groups and not to be subjected to or promote mutual heating between the cables. This also allows the cable section and also the cost to be limited. This reduction in interaction through heating is also reduced due to the very nature of the block material, namely rubber.
[0018] According to another feature, the slab has a bottom provided with transverse channels forming water passages opening at the front and rear of the module.
[0019] Thus, for an outdoor installation, the module or more generally the line formed by a combination of modules does not constitute a barrier retaining rainwater arriving on one side or the other of the modules.
[0020] According to another advantageous feature, the back and the partition have cutouts and discontinuities which are offset from each other so as to allow, on the one hand, the passage of cables or to possibly evacuate water arriving in the compartments of the modules without creating a weakened transverse line, supporting the grating. According to an advantageous feature, the front edge of the module, reinforced has a trapezoidal section with a ramp-shaped front surface provided with signaling elements. The front edge of the module and the line formed by the assembly of modules constitutes a wheel stop for vehicles maneuvering slowly on the charging location in front of the module or the row of modules.
[0021] The signaling elements make it possible to draw the attention of drivers to this front edge constituting the limit of the parking spaces for vehicle charging.
[0022] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0023] The present invention will be described below in more detail with the aid of an example of a module shown in the accompanying drawings in which:

[0030] DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0031] According to Figure 1, the invention relates to a module 1 for the creation of an off-site electrical cable installation for an electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
[0032] This installation is sketched by the lines of an alignment (L) of modules 1, assembled by the small sides. This alignment is possibly doubled by a symmetrical alignment (L') of modules juxtaposed back to back to the modules 1 of the alignment (L).
[0033] Module 1 is prismatic, rectangular in shape and has a trapezoidal cross-section. The alignment (L) corresponds to the longitudinal direction XX. The front side AV and the rear side AR in the transverse direction YY are shown in Figure 1. Module 1 is placed on the ground and fixed there by gluing or by mechanical connections such as anchoring with screws and dowels.
[0034] The modules form one or more longitudinal ducts housing electrical supply cables for the connection terminals carried by posts fixed to the ground near the rear side of the modules and between the two alignments (L), (L') of the modules 1. Cable ends appear in Figure 1. The inclined front face 121 of the module 1, inclined, carries reflective plates 122 to visualize the installation.
[0035] The inclined face 121 forming a ramp, delimits the location of the vehicle and serves as a wheel stop. The top of the module 1 is covered by a grating 2.
[0036] In more detail, according to the exploded view (figure 2), the module 1 consists of a slab 111 constituting the bottom of the module bordered by a front edge 12 with an inclined surface 121 and a rear wall forming the back 13. The top of the front edge 12 has a rebate 123 and the back 13 has a rebate 133 at the same height as that of the front edge to receive the grating 2.
[0037] The inclined surface 121 forms a wheel stop to hold back a vehicle maneuvering slowly relative to the module 1 or a line (L) of modules. The inclined surface 121 integrates the signaling elements 122 in the form of self-reflecting luminous plates to clearly indicate the front edge 12 of the module or the row of modules. The longitudinal chute formed by the slab 1, the front edge 12 and the back 13 is subdivided into two compartments C1, C2 by a longitudinal partition 14 whose top 143 is at the same height as the bottom as the rebates 123, 133 to form a support for the grating 2 and also to produce compartments C1, C2 separating the power cables, likely to heat up considerably during the charging of the vehicle batteries.
[0038] These compartments Cl, C2 also allow the separation of power cables and signal transmission cables.
[0039] The back 13 has cutouts 131 for the lateral exit of connection cables and for the evacuation of rainwater arriving in the chute through the grating 2. The partition 14 is also discontinuous, provided with cutouts 141 for the passage of rainwater. These cutouts 141 are not aligned transversely with the cutouts 131 of the back 13 to better distribute overall the weight applied to the grating by a pedestrian. The assembly of the modules 1 of a line (L), (L') is done by assembly pins 3 engaged in assembly holes 113 made in the slab 11 on the sides and the back 13.
[0040] The slab 11 has transverse channels 111 open on the underside and opening out on the sides to allow rainwater reaching the ground to cross the lines of modules (L), (L 5 ).
[0041] The top of slab 11 is preferably slightly inclined and pierced at the level of the channels to evacuate rainwater.
[0042] The modules 1 can be fixed to the ground by screwing them with screws 4 passing through the slab 1 at the front edge 12 near the back 13 in fixing holes 112. Figures 3 - 6 also show from a different angle and in side, top and front view, the shape of the module 1 without the grating 2. Figure 3 shows the detail of the module 1 without the grating and without the electric cables, thus highlighting the shape of the longitudinal compartments C 1 , C2 forming cable trays and the locations of the holes 112 for fixing to the ground as well as the holes 114 for water drainage, passing through the slab 11 at the level of the transverse channels 111 in each compartment C1, C2.
[0043] Figure 4 shows the shape of the trapezoidal cross-section of module 1 without grating 2.
[0044] Figure 5 is a top view of the module 1 without the grating 2 showing the distribution of the cutouts 131 of the back 13, the offset cutouts 141 of the partition 14 and the holes 1 12 for fixing to the ground.
[0045] The view of the back 13 in Figure 6 shows in particular the section of the transverse channels 111 and the assembly orifices 113 of the back 13 at the level of the slab 11. The module 1 as presented above is preferably made of recycled tire rubber by molding and integration of the signaling elements 122.
[0046] Preferably, an SBR granulate is used, which is styrene-butadiene rubber. This material has mechanical properties of resistance to abrasion and bending, which are of interest for the module.
[0047] For example, the module 1 preferably has a length of 100 cm and a width of 50 cm and a weight of around 22 kg. It has cavities to reduce the mass of material and limit the weight to allow it to be handled by a single person. The cutouts 131, 141 of the back 13 and the partition 14 as well as the through passages 111 also contribute to this reduction in the mass of material and the weight, without harming the strength of the module 1 which has a structure of crossed elements: the front edge 12, the back 13 and the partition 14 in the longitudinal direction XX and the crosspieces formed by the slab 11 between the through passages 111 in the transverse direction.
