[0001] Soundproofing wall element for a railway track
[0002] Description
[0003] The present invention relates to a soundproofing wall element for a track system.
[0004] DE 10 2015 114 219 A1 discloses a soundproofing wall for a track system constructed with a plurality of soundproofing wall elements. In this known soundproofing wall, the individual soundproofing wall elements are fixed in a base edge area thereof directly to the outer ends of the sleepers of a track system. Since the base edge area is thus close to the rails of the track system, the soundproofing wall elements extend diagonally outwards from the base wall area, away from the rails and upwards, to avoid encroaching into the standard clearance space that must be kept clear for trains. This also necessitates a comparatively low height for the soundproofing wall elements, which are positioned very close to the rails, and requires a complex surface structure on their soundproofing side to prevent upward sound reflections. The soundproofing wall elements are designed as solid bodies made of rubber material.
[0005] DE 10 2009 005 439 A1 discloses a soundproofing wall for a track system constructed with a plurality of soundproofing wall elements, in which the soundproofing wall elements are supported by means of a support structure on an adjacent rail of a track system. The support structure comprises a plurality of beam-like supports fixed to a rail foot of a directly adjacent rail and extending laterally outwards, to which the soundproofing wall elements are fixed. The soundproofing wall elements themselves extend upwards from their attachment to the support structure and are curved towards the track bed in order to achieve a reflection of sound emitted from the area of the rails downwards into the track bed. This requires that the soundproofing wall elements have a comparatively low height to avoid encroaching on the standard clearance. The soundproofing wall elements themselves are constructed as hollow bodies with a wall made of plastic material. From the subsequently published European patent application EP 22 154 875.3, a soundproofing wall element for a railway track is known. In this case, a soundproofing wall element body has a recess on a soundproofing side facing the railway track, in which a mat-like soundproofing insert element constructed of fiberglass material is positioned. The soundproofing insert element is held in the recess of the soundproofing wall element body by a retaining element designed as a double-bar grid, thus providing a plurality of sound passage openings.
[0006] It is the object of the present invention to provide a sound insulation wall element for a track system which has an improved sound insulation characteristic while being easy to implement and stable in construction.
[0007] According to the invention, this object is achieved by a sound insulation wall element for a track system, comprising a sound insulation wall element body with a base edge region designed for attachment to a support structure, an end edge region remote from the base edge region and side edge regions extending between the base edge region and the end edge region, a sound insulation side to be positioned facing a track system, and a rear side facing away from the sound insulation side, at least one sound insulation insert element arranged on the sound insulation side of the sound insulation wall element body with an insert element body constructed with rock wool.
[0008] By using sound-absorbing sound-insulating inserts, whose insert body is constructed of rock wool, various advantages inherent in rock wool are utilized. On the one hand, this material is fireproof and heat-resistant, which, especially when used in conjunction with a railway system, makes it possible to position a sound-insulating wall constructed from several such sound-insulating wall elements close to the rails of a railway system. Flying sparks when trains pass over the rails or during repair work on the rails cannot therefore lead to damage or destruction, especially of the sound-insulating inserts, even when the sound-insulating wall elements are positioned close to the rails. On the other hand, due to its fiber structure and its comparatively low density, rock wool has very good absorption characteristics, particularly in the sound spectrum occurring in the area of railway tracks.
[0009] In order to protect the at least one sound insulation insert element as well as possible from external influences, it is proposed that at least one sound insulation insert element receiving recess is provided on the sound insulation side, which receives the at least one sound insulation insert element.
[0010] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the at least one sound-insulating insert element can be held to the sound-insulating wall element body by at least one retaining element designed as a perforated sheet. Such a retaining element designed as a perforated sheet protects the at least one sound-insulating insert element on the sound-insulating side from external influences, in particular from objects thrown up by trains when passing over rails. Furthermore, such a perforated sheet, with its perforated structure, supports the sound-insulating properties.
[0011] For this purpose, it can be provided, for example, that at least some of the holes formed in the at least one holding element, preferably all of the holes formed in the at least one holding element, are circular, and / or that at least some of the holes formed in the at least one holding element, preferably all of the holes formed in the at least one holding element, have dimensions in the range from 3 mm to 7 mm, preferably approximately 5 mm, and / or that at least some of the holes formed in the at least one holding element, preferably all of the holes formed in the at least one holding element, have a center-to-center distance in the range from 6 mm to 10 mm, preferably approximately 8 mm, from immediately adjacent holes.
[0012] A very good sound insulation characteristic, taking into account the protective effect to be achieved by the perforated sheet, can be obtained if the holes provided in the at least one holding element designed as a perforated sheet occupy a surface area of the perforated sheet in the range of 30% to 40%, preferably about 35%.
[0013] If the at least one sound insulation insert element, preferably each sound insulation insert element, has a thickness in the range of 40 mm to 90 mm, a very good sound insulation characteristic is achieved without an excessively large thickness of the entire sound insulation wall element.
[0014] A very good sound insulation characteristic can also be achieved if, in at least one sound insulation insert element, preferably each sound insulation insert element, the insert element body has a density in the range of 35 kg / m 3 up to 47 kg / m 3 , preferably about 41.5 kg / m 3 , has.
[0015] To further protect the construction material of the insert element body from external influences, it is proposed that at least one soundproofing insert element, preferably each soundproofing insert element, be provided with a cover layer constructed of fiber material on a front side of the insert element body positioned toward a track system and / or a rear side of the insert element body positioned away from a track system. For example, the cover layer can be constructed of nonwoven material, such as glass fiber fleece.
[0016] A robust design that also contributes to improved sound insulation can be achieved if the soundproofing wall element body is constructed of an elastic material, preferably elastomer material. For this purpose, the soundproofing wall element body can, for example, be constructed of rubber material, preferably bonded rubber granulate.
[0017] In order to ensure high stability, particularly on the surface of the sound-insulating wall element body, at comparatively low manufacturing costs, it is proposed that the sound-insulating wall element body be constructed with a new rubber layer providing an outer surface of the sound-insulating wall element body and / or a core made of bound rubber granulate encased in the new rubber layer, preferably wherein reinforcing fiber material is embedded in the rubber granulate and / or the new rubber layer.
[0018] The invention further relates to a sound-insulating wall unit comprising a support structure and at least one sound-insulating wall element carried on the support structure and having a structure according to the invention.
[0019] The support structure may, for example, comprise a support rail and a plurality of ground anchors, preferably ground screws, provided for anchoring the support rail to a subsurface.
[0020] In order to be able to precisely position the soundproofing wall elements, particularly in the area of a track system, it is proposed that at least one ground anchor, preferably each ground anchor, be secured to the support rail by means of an adjustment unit. Such an adjustment unit enables the position of a ground anchor relative to the support rail and thus, when the ground anchor is embedded in the subsurface, the position of the support rail and thus of the soundproofing wall elements supported by it.
[0021] The invention further relates to a soundproofing wall for a track system, comprising a plurality of soundproofing wall elements constructed according to the invention and arranged consecutively in a longitudinal direction of the track system and / or a plurality of soundproofing wall units constructed according to the invention and arranged consecutively in the longitudinal direction of the track system. [0032] In Fig. 1, a track system is generally designated by 10. The track system 10 comprises rails 14, 16 extending in the direction of a track system longitudinal direction L and supported on sleepers 12. Laterally next to the rails 14, 16 of the track system 10 is a sound insulation wall 18 with a plurality of sound insulation wall units arranged successively in the track system longitudinal direction L.
[0033] 20 or sound insulation wall elements 22.
[0034] Such a soundproofing wall unit is shown in Fig. 2 on its side viewed from the rails 14, 16. In the illustrated embodiment, the soundproofing wall unit 20 comprises two soundproofing wall elements supported on a support structure 24. The support structure 24, also shown in Fig. 3, comprises a support rail 26 positioned in the lower region thereof with, for example, a U-shaped cross-section open at the top. Two vertical struts 28, 30 are provided at one end region and in the middle region of the support rail 26. One of the two soundproofing wall elements 22 is arranged between the two vertical struts 28, 30. The other soundproofing wall element 22 of the soundproofing wall unit 20 is arranged laterally next to the vertical strut 30.
[0035] The support structure 24 further comprises two ground anchors 32, 34 designed as ground screws, which are inserted into the ground and thus serve to provide a firm anchoring. The support rail 26 is coupled to the ground anchors 32, 34 via respective adjustment units 36, 38 in such a way that the position of the support rail 26 relative to the ground anchors 32, 34 already anchored in the ground, and thus also the position of the soundproofing wall elements 22 supported on the support rail 26, can be precisely adjusted; for example, these elements can be oriented essentially vertically.
[0036] Each soundproofing wall element 22 comprises a soundproofing wall element body, generally designated 38. The soundproofing wall element body 38 is formed with a base edge region 40 in its lower region for anchoring to the support rail 26 or received in the support rail 26. In its upper region, the soundproofing wall element body 38 has an end edge region 42, on which, for example, two projections 44, 46 are provided laterally next to one another. These projections 44, 46 preferably extend over the entire soundproofing wall element body 38 in the longitudinal direction L of the track system and contribute to the increased reflection of sound. At its end regions located in the longitudinal direction L of the track system, each soundproofing wall element body 38 has respective side edge regions 48, 50, which are each received in a respective soundproofing wall unit 20 between a pair of vertical struts 28, 30.It should be noted that the side edge region 50 of the sound insulation wall element 22 shown on the right in Fig. 2 is positioned adjacent to a vertical strut 28 of the next sound insulation wall unit 20 in the longitudinal direction L of the track system.
[0037] To anchor the soundproofing wall elements 22 to the support structure 24, a locking element 52 is also provided, extending over the two soundproofing wall elements 22 of a respective soundproofing wall unit 20 and configured, for example, as a rectangular hollow profile. This locking element is positioned between the two projections 44, 46 and screwed from above onto the vertical struts 28, 30 of a respective support structure 24.
[0038] On a sound insulation side 54 of the sound insulation wall element body 38, which is to be positioned facing the rails 14, 16 of the track system 10, a sound insulation insert element receiving recess 56 is formed, which preferably completely surrounds the side edge regions 48, 50, the base edge region 40, and the front edge region 42. In contrast, the rear side 57 of the sound insulation wall element body 38, which is to be positioned facing away from the track system 10, is essentially planar.
[0039] A sound insulation insert element 58 is received in the sound insulation insert element receiving recess 56 in such a way that it essentially completely fills the sound insulation insert element receiving recess 56 and thus essentially completely covers the sound insulation wall element body 38 on its sound insulation side 54.
[0040] The soundproofing insert element 58 has an insert element body 59 constructed of rock wool and, depending on the size of the soundproofing wall 18 to be constructed, has a thickness in the range of 40 mm to 90 mm. On its front side 60 facing the track system 10 or the rails 14, 16 and / or on its rear side 62 facing the soundproofing wall element body 38, the rock wool material of the insert element body 59 can be covered by a comparatively thin cover layer 61, 63 made of nonwoven material, preferably glass fiber fleece, in order to protect the rock wool from external influences, in particular moisture. A strong bond between the rock wool material and the nonwoven material can be created, for example, by gluing, needling, or in some other way.
[0041] A retaining element 64 designed as a perforated sheet is provided for anchoring the sound-insulating insert element 58 to the sound-insulating wall element body 38. The retaining element 64, which essentially covers the entire sound-insulating side 54 of the sound-insulating wall element body 38, has a pattern of holes 66, as shown in Fig. 7, in which immediately adjacent holes 66 in the essentially horizontally extending rows of holes 66 or the essentially vertically extending columns of holes 66 have a mutual distance A of the hole centers thereof in the range of 6 mm to 10 mm, preferably approximately 8 mm.The hole diameter can be in the range of 3 mm to 7 mm, preferably approximately 5 mm, and the area occupied by the holes 66 can be in the range of 30% to 40%, preferably approximately 35% of the total area of the retaining element 64, in particular the total area of the retaining element 64 with which it covers the soundproofing insert element 58. The retaining element 64, which is galvanized or powder-coated, for example, and constructed of sheet metal material, can have a thickness in the range of 1.5 mm to 2 mm, for example.
[0042] The plate-like retaining element 64 is held on the soundproofing wall element body 38 by retaining sections 67, which are formed integrally thereon, for example, and provided in the side edge regions 48, 50 or in the base edge region 40. For this purpose, the retaining element 64 is pushed downward from above over the front edge region 42 into the retaining sections 67 of the side edge regions 48, 50 until it is positioned engaging in the retaining sections 67 at the base edge region 40, and thus the retaining sections 67 overlap the retaining element 64 in three edge regions. For further fixing of the holding element 64, one or more L-shaped holding brackets 68 arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction L of the track system can be provided on the locking element 52 in association with each sound insulation wall element 22, which, after positioning of a respective holding element 64 on the sound insulation wall element body 38, engage over the upper edge region of the holding element 64 and thus prevent it from being pulled out upwards.
[0043] The soundproofing wall element body 38 can be constructed as a single body, preferably primarily with elastomer material, e.g., rubber material. Such a construction of the soundproofing wall element body 38 is shown in principle in Fig. 8. The soundproofing wall element body 38 comprises a core 70 which occupies the largest volume area of the core and is constructed with bonded rubber granulate. Such rubber granulate can be obtained by recycling old rubber, such as car tires. On the outside, the core is surrounded by a jacket 72 made of a new rubber layer, which is crosslinked or vulcanized for the first time during the production of the soundproofing wall element body 38. The thickness of the new rubber layer 72 can be in the range of a few millimeters. To increase stability, reinforcing fiber material 74, such as, for example,A fabric or the like, for example, made of tire cord or the like, may be provided. In principle, the soundproofing wall element body 38 could also be constructed entirely of virgin rubber material.
[0044] The construction from such a rubber material results in a very stable structure for the sound-insulating wall element body 38, which is very resistant to environmental influences and mechanical stress. Furthermore, such a rubber material itself has very good absorption properties for sound impinging on its surface and, due to its structured surface, also very good scattering properties. Furthermore, this design of the sound-insulating wall element body 38 enables the simple design of the holding sections 67, shown schematically in Fig. 8, as an integral component thereof. During construction of the sound-insulating wall 18, the support structures 24 of the sound-insulating wall units 20 are first anchored in the substructure, and the support rails 26 are adjusted to the desired position.Subsequently, the soundproofing wall element bodies 38 are inserted from above into the support rails 26, so that each soundproofing wall element body 38 is positioned between two vertical struts 28, 30 of one or two support structures 24. Subsequently, the soundproofing insert elements 58 are positioned in the soundproofing insert element receiving recesses 56 of the soundproofing wall element bodies 38, and the associated holding elements 64 are inserted from above in the manner described above, so that they are engaged by the holding sections 67. As a final step, the locking elements 52 are placed from above onto the front edge region 42 between the two projections 44, 46 in such a way that the holding brackets 68 provided thereon engage over the upper edge region of a respective holding element 64.After fixing, for example screwing, the locking elements 52 to the vertical struts 28, 30, a stable connection is thus realized on the one hand of the sound insulation wall element bodies 38 with the support structure 24 and on the other hand of the sound insulation insert elements 58 and the holding elements 64 with the sound insulation wall element bodies 38 and the respectively associated support structure 24.
[0045] By using sound insulation insert elements 58 primarily constructed with rock wool on the one hand and the use of the retaining elements 64 designed as perforated sheets on the other hand, a very good sound insulation characteristic of a sound insulation wall 18 constructed in this way is achieved. A significant contribution to this is that the construction material of the sound insulation elements 58, i.e. the rock wool material of the insert element bodies 59, has a comparatively low density in the range of approximately 41.5 kg / m 3This can be clearly seen in Figure 9, which shows the extent of sound absorption on sound-insulating wall elements 22 with sound-insulating insert elements 58 constructed from different materials.
[0046] In Fig. 9, curve Ki shows the sound absorption coefficient for a sound-insulating wall element 22 in a frequency range up to approximately 4000 Hz, in which the sound-insulating insert element 58 is constructed of fiberglass material with a thickness of approximately 40 mm. Curve K2 shows the sound absorption coefficient in the same frequency range for a sound-insulating wall element 22 with a sound-insulating insert element 58 made of rock wool of approximately the same thickness. The better absorption characteristics of rock wool are clearly evident by comparing curves K1 and K2.
[0047] Fig. 10 illustrates the influence of the hole pattern in the holding element 64 designed as a perforated sheet. Curve K3 again shows, for the frequency range up to approximately 4000 Hz, the sound absorption coefficient of a sound-insulating wall element 22 in which the holes 66 formed in the holding element 64 have a diameter of 8 mm and the mutual center-to-center distance A of immediately adjacent holes 66 in a substantially horizontal row of holes 66 or a substantially vertical column of holes 66 is 12 mm. In comparison, curve K4 shows the sound absorption coefficient of a sound-insulating wall element 22 in which the holding element 64 has a hole pattern with holes having a diameter of 5 mm and a center-to-center distance A in the respective columns or rows of holes 66 of 8 mm.It can also be clearly seen here that when using the holding element 64 with the smaller and more closely spaced holes 66, a better absorption behavior can be achieved.
[0048] By using rock wool as the construction material for each soundproofing insert element 58 or the insert element body 59 thereof, on the one hand, and the use of a retaining element 64 designed as a perforated sheet metal, which also provides good protection for the soundproofing insert element 58, very good sound insulation characteristics are achieved, which are essentially based on the principle of sound absorption. The construction materials used for such a soundproofing wall element 22—i.e., the rubber material for the soundproofing wall element body 38, the metal material for the retaining element 64, and the rock wool material for the soundproofing insert element 58—are highly resistant to environmental influences, such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, and even mechanical stress, and are fireproof. This makes it possible to position sound insulation wall elements constructed with these materials very close to the rails 14, 16 of a track system 10, which contributes to further improved sound insulation characteristics.
