Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to a leveling blade assembly for leveling a substrate. Furthermore, the invention relates to a grader for leveling a substrate, comprising a frame, a coupling device attached to the frame, and a corresponding leveling blade assembly attached to the frame as a tool for leveling the substrate. State of the art
[0002] It is well known that graders are used to create large, flat surfaces. In particular, these graders, also known as levelers, earth graders, or road graders, are typically used in road and path construction. There, these machines serve, for example, to level the sub-base of roads or the surface layer of unpaved roads and paths.
[0003] The grader uses a blade, also called a leveling blade or share, to level the surface.
[0004] Such a grader is known, for example, from the applicant's DE 20 2020 102 876 U1. This grader has a shield arranged on a support frame, the shield being characterized by having two obliquely extending side parts and a straight central part connecting these side parts.
[0005] When leveling the subgrade of a path, the grader described there is not suitable for removing bothersome bumps at the edges of the path. Rather, the grader is only suitable for leveling the central subgrade.
[0006] Disturbing elevations form along roadsides, for example due to erosion, especially in combination with water. The water forms a channel-like runoff along the roadside, which is bordered by these elevations.
[0007] When maintaining the road or path, it would therefore be desirable to also be able to remove the raised areas at the edges of the path.
[0008] It is generally known to attach blade extensions to the grader blade when creating surfaces, in order to increase the grader's area coverage. Such an application is described, for example, in EP 3 940 143 B1.
[0009] However, the familiar leveling blades with blade extensions are not suitable for road construction. This is primarily due to the frequent obstacles along the roadside, such as tree stumps, larger stones, or rocks, which would damage the leveling blade or its extension upon contact. Description of the invention
[0010] The invention is therefore based on the objective of further developing the known grader and dozer blade arrangements in such a way that they can be used advantageously in road and path construction and the problems and disadvantages of the prior art described above can be eliminated.
[0011] This problem is solved by the subject matter of the independent claims. Further possible embodiments of the invention are specified in particular in the dependent claims.
[0012] The solution according to the invention consists in particular of providing a dozer blade arrangement for leveling a surface in the direction of travel x. The dozer blade arrangement comprises a V-shaped main blade for leveling a central track extending in the direction of travel. The main blade is thus designed to level the central track. Furthermore, the dozer blade arrangement comprises a side blade for leveling a lateral track. The side blade is thus designed to level or grade the lateral track. The lateral track is arranged adjacent to the central track in the lateral direction y. In particular, the lateral track borders the central track in the lateral direction y. The lateral direction y is a direction that runs perpendicular to the direction of travel x.
[0013] Furthermore, the dozer blade assembly includes a holding device for keeping the side blade in a grading position. The holding device is generally designed to hold the side blade, particularly against the main blade. The grading position is a position in which the side blade projects laterally beyond the main blade. This positions the side blade in such a way that it enables the grading of the lateral track. In the grading position, the side blade preferably extends at least substantially perpendicularly from the main blade.
[0014] According to the invention, the holding device has an overload protection device. The overload protection device serves to protect the side plate. The overload protection device is designed to cause the side plate to move, in particular pivot, into a protective position in the event of an overload acting upon it. The overload is caused, for example, by contact with an obstacle. The obstacle could be, for example, a tree stump, a rock, a large stone, or the like. An overload occurs in particular when the side plate cannot exert sufficient force on the obstacle to move it to the side without damaging the side plate. In the protective position, the side plate is pivoted further inwards towards the main plate. In extreme cases, the side sign, for example, is positioned behind the main sign in the protective position in the direction of travel x and, viewed in the lateral direction y, is arranged at least substantially within the extent, i.e. the width, of the main sign in such a way that the side sign is at least substantially covered by the main sign.
[0015] In general, a leveling blade arrangement is an arrangement used to level or flatten a surface.
[0016] The main blade is, generally speaking, a central, shield-shaped component of the dozer blade assembly, by means of which a central track is leveled in the direction of travel. The main blade extends at least substantially transversely to the direction of travel x, i.e., in the lateral direction y, and has its width in this direction.
[0017] According to the invention, the main shield is at least essentially V-shaped.
[0018] During operation, the tip of the V preferably points backwards, i.e., against the direction of travel. This transports material from the sides to the inside.
[0019] In addition to the two mutually obliquely extending side sections, the main shield can particularly preferably have a straight central section from which the side sections extend. The central section extends in the lateral direction y. The two side sections are arranged obliquely outwards at an angle of preferably about 45° to the central section. Independently of this, wings can also preferably extend from each end of the side sections. The wings extend in the direction of travel x. The side sections preferably have a length of at least 100 cm, more preferably at least 110 cm, and more preferably 120 cm.
[0020] The main shield is preferably made up of several individual pieces that are connected together, in particular welded.
[0021] Regardless, the main shield forms the main leveling surface and is used, for example, to level the path itself during road construction.
[0022] In general, a side plate is a secondary plate used to level the side track laterally from the main track. For example, the side plate is used to level the edge of a path during road construction. The side plate has a length in its main direction of extension of between 60 cm and 100 cm, preferably 80 cm. The side plate extends in its main direction from an inner end to an outer end, with the inner end attached to the main plate.
[0023] In principle, all directions used to describe the dozer blade arrangement refer to the dozer blade assembly or grader as mounted on a construction machine. These directions are specified in accordance with the standard DIN 70000:1994-01. The origin of the coordinate system lies on the vehicle's median plane. The x-direction runs along the vehicle's longitudinal axis and points in the direction of travel. The y-direction runs along the vehicle's transverse axis and, unlike the standard above, points to the right when viewed in the direction of travel. The z-direction runs along the vehicle's vertical axis and points upwards when viewed in the direction of travel. A corresponding coordinate system is also shown in the figures, particularly in Fig. 2 , specified.
[0024] According to the invention, the overload protection causes the side plate to be moved into a protective position where it is protected from damage. The overload protection is therefore a protective device designed to protect the side plate from overload. If an overload acts on the side plate, the overload protection causes the side plate to pivot behind the main plate.
[0025] This effectively protects the side plate and the entire leveling blade assembly from damage, making them suitable for removing bumps and irregularities from road edges. The leveling blade assembly allows for simultaneous leveling of the ground and removal of bumps and irregularities from the road edges in a single pass. This eliminates the need for an additional pass to remove bumps and irregularities, significantly reducing road maintenance time. Furthermore, it eliminates the need for additional equipment and associated setup costs and time, as two tasks can be accomplished with a single machine.
[0026] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the holding device is designed as a lifting cylinder. The overload protection is then preferably designed by a draining device, in particular a pressure relief valve, for draining working fluid from the lifting cylinder.
[0027] The lifting cylinder is preferably a hydraulic or pneumatic component that generates linear motion by moving a piston rod up and down within a cylinder housing. The lifting cylinder converts hydraulic or pneumatic pressure into a mechanical force by means of which the side panel can be moved. The lifting cylinder preferably has a stroke between 200 mm and 400 mm, particularly preferably 300 mm.
[0028] In a hydraulic cylinder, a working fluid, especially oil or another liquid, is pumped under pressure into the cylinder housing to move the piston. In a pneumatic cylinder, this is done using compressed air.
[0029] The position of the side plate can be changed precisely and easily using a lifting cylinder. The release of working fluid in case of overload allows the side plate to pivot back into place. The release mechanism reacts automatically to overloads through appropriate adjustment, without the need for manual intervention. The release mechanism is set such that a maximum pressure acting on the lifting cylinder triggers the release of working fluid. This maximum pressure is preferably set to less than 250 bar, preferably less than 200 bar, and particularly preferably less than 170 bar. A maximum pressure of 150 bar is especially preferred. This ensures reliable protection of the side plate against overload.
[0030] In this context, a particularly preferred embodiment provides that the side plate has a length of 80 cm and the lifting cylinder has a stroke of 300 mm.
[0031] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the side plate is pivotable between the leveling position, particularly outwards, and a stowed position, particularly inwards, by means of the lifting cylinder. The side plate is preferably arranged behind the main plate in the stowed position, viewed in the direction of travel. Preferably, the side plate extends in the direction of travel in the stowed position.
[0032] The side panel can therefore be swung into the stowed position behind the main panel. This protects the side panel from external influences and damage. By aligning the side panel in the direction of travel, contact between the side panel and the ground can be reduced.
[0033] A particularly advantageous feature is that the lower part of the side plate is positioned laterally outside the central track when stowed. This lower part is the section of the side plate that contacts the ground when leveling. This prevents ruts from forming in the central track.
[0034] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the inner end of the side panel is connected to the pivot joint.
[0035] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the main shield has two side parts arranged in a V-shape relative to each other. Preferably, an angle between 75° and 105°, particularly preferably 90°, is formed between the two side parts.
[0036] The V-shape of the main blade allows for improved material flow towards the center of the vehicle, making the grading process more efficient. The right-angled arrangement of the two side sections results in particularly good performance.
[0037] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lifting cylinder connects a side part to the side plate. In particular, the lifting cylinder connects the side plate directly to one of the side parts of the main plate.
[0038] This arrangement allows for a direct and efficient transfer of forces to the side shield.
[0039] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lifting cylinder engages the side plate closer to the inner end than to the outer end. Particularly preferably, the lifting cylinder engages at a position at a height of one-third of the length of the side plate.
[0040] A particularly preferred embodiment provides that the side plate has a length of 80 cm and the lifting cylinder acts at a position at a height between 20 cm and 34 cm of the length of the side plate.
[0041] By appropriately adjusting the lifting cylinder, a good compromise can be found between the force required to move the side plate and its function as an overload protection device.
[0042] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the side shield, in its leveling position, forms a V-shape with one of the side parts. The resulting V-shape is, in particular, inverted, i.e., rotated by 180°, to form a V-shape of the main shield. Preferably, an angle between 75° and 105°, and particularly preferably 90°, is formed between the side part and the side shield.
[0043] The V-shape formed by the side plate and the side section of the main plate ensures that the material is directed away from the vehicle to the sides. Unlike the main plate, which directs the collected material towards the center, the side plate deflects it outwards. This allows for controlled outward displacement of material, which is particularly useful when forming lateral elevations, embankments, or boundaries.
[0044] A right angle provides optimal mechanical stability. Forces acting on the side plate during earthmoving are distributed evenly across the entire structure. This prevents the side plate from warping or moving unintentionally under load, increasing the equipment's service life and ensuring reliable grading operations.
[0045] The right angle optimizes the power transfer from the dozer blade assembly to the ground. The side blade can work the ground more efficiently because it is positioned at a stable angle, resulting in less energy loss.
[0046] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the side plate is arranged in its leveling position on the main plate such that an area worked by the side plate and an area worked by the main plate overlap. In other words, the area worked by the side plate and the area worked by the main plate intersect at their interface.
[0047] Overlapping the processed areas of the main sign and the side sign ensures that no unprocessed or uneven area remains between the two signs. The transition between the two processed sections is seamless, resulting in a smoother and more uniform surface. Furthermore, the formation of unwanted edges or marks is prevented. This is particularly important for achieving a smooth and professional result without the need for subsequent corrections.
[0048] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the side sign, when viewed in the direction of travel, is positioned behind the main sign and, when viewed laterally, within the extension area of the main sign, such that the side sign is covered by the main sign. This protects the side sign from the main sign.
[0049] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the holding device, in particular its overload protection, has an overload swivel joint. The side shield, in particular from the leveling position to the guard position, is pivotably arranged on the main shield by means of the overload swivel joint.
[0050] The overload pivot joint allows the side shield to be pivoted from its leveling position to the protective position. The pivot axis of the overload pivot joint runs in the vertical direction z, i.e., perpendicular to the direction of travel x and perpendicular to the lateral direction y. Generally, the side shield is pivotally mounted on the main shield.
[0051] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the holding device, and in particular its overload protection, comprises a rotational locking device. The rotational locking device is designed to lock the overload pivot joint. The overload pivot joint is preferably locked in such a way as to prevent the side plate from pivoting relative to the main plate, particularly up to an overload acting on the side plate.
[0052] More generally, the rotation locking device is designed to prevent the side plate from pivoting relative to the main plate. The rotation locking device thus holds the side plate in the grading position. The rotation locking device therefore ensures that the side plate remains in the grading position as long as no overload occurs. If an overload occurs, the rotation locking device is disengaged.
[0053] For example, the rotation locking device can include a locking element, in particular a rod-shaped locking element. This rod-shaped locking element is preferably connected to the main shield and the side shield. Thus, the rod-shaped locking element rigidly attaches the side shield to the main shield in such a way that pivoting of the side shield relative to the main shield is prevented.
[0054] The rod-shaped locking element preferably engages an outer area of the side plate. This outer area is at least half the length of the side plate away from the main plate. Regardless of this, the rod-shaped element is at least half as long, preferably at least three-quarters as long, and particularly preferably approximately as long as the side plate.
[0055] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the holding device, and in particular its overload protection, comprises a predetermined breaking element. Specifically, the holding device includes the predetermined breaking element as overload protection. The predetermined breaking element is an element designed to break or deform under load. Specifically, the predetermined breaking element is designed to break or deform in the event of an overload acting on the side plate.
[0056] Preferably, the predetermined breaking element can be a fastener dimensioned to break under overload. For example, the fastener could be a screw or a rivet.
[0057] Since the predetermined breaking point is particularly easy to replace as a fastening element, the functionality of the dozer blade assembly can be restored immediately. Furthermore, such a predetermined breaking point is particularly cost-effective.
[0058] In an advantageous further development of this embodiment, the rotation locking device includes the locking element. In an undamaged state, the shear element is designed to prevent the side plate from rotating around the overload pivot joint. Furthermore, in a damaged state, the shear element is designed to release the side plate from rotating around the overload pivot joint.
[0059] In other words, the side plate can be pivoted around the overload swivel joint relative to the main plate when the shear element is in its damaged state.
[0060] The predetermined breaking element therefore acts as overload protection and intentionally breaks or deforms when an overload occurs, thus allowing the side plate to pivot from the leveling position to the protective position relative to the main plate.
[0061] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the rotational locking device is connected to the side plate by means of the predetermined breaking element. Particularly preferably, the locking element, which is especially rod-shaped, is connected to the side plate by means of the predetermined breaking element. Thus, when the predetermined breaking element breaks, the connection between the rotational locking device or locking element and the side plate is severed, so that the rotational locking device can no longer prevent the side plate from pivoting relative to the main plate.
[0062] Alternatively, the rotational locking device can be connected to the main shield by means of the predetermined breaking element. In this case, when the predetermined breaking element breaks, the connection between the rotational locking device, or in particular the rod-shaped locking element, and the main shield is severed, so that the rotational locking device can no longer prevent the side shield from pivoting relative to the main shield.
[0063] More generally, the side plate can be connected to the main plate by means of the predetermined breaking element and the locking element, which is particularly rod-shaped. If this connection is released, the locking element no longer prevents the side plate from pivoting relative to the main plate.
[0064] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the holding device includes a lifting device for moving, in particular raising and lowering, the side plate. The side plate is moved between a raised transport position and the lowered leveling position. Preferably, the lifting device includes a lifting pivot joint by which the side plate is pivotably arranged on the main plate between the raised transport position and the lowered leveling position.
[0065] The side plate is therefore pivotally attached to the main plate by means of the lifting swivel joint. The lifting swivel joint and the overload swivel joint are preferably two separate joints.
[0066] Preferably, the pivot axes or rotation axes of the two reversible joints are not aligned parallel to each other. Particularly preferably, the rotation axes of the two reversible joints are arranged at least substantially perpendicular to each other.
[0067] In the raised transport position, the side plate preferably does not come into contact with the ground or the side track. This allows the entire dozer blade assembly to be transported, or for only the main plate of the dozer blade assembly to be used.
[0068] In general, the lifting device is designed to raise and lower the side plate relative to the main plate.
[0069] In an advantageous further development of the invention, the lifting device has a lifting cylinder.
[0070] The lifting cylinder has a piston that performs a linear lifting motion via the cylinder. Preferably, the lifting cylinder is a hydraulic cylinder, i.e., a fluid-operated working cylinder. A hydraulic cylinder allows for particularly high force transmission. Alternatively, it can also be a pneumatic cylinder or an electromechanical lifting cylinder, i.e., a linear actuator.
[0071] The lifting cylinder allows for automatic and / or controlled raising and lowering of the side plate.
[0072] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lifting swivel joint has a pivot axis body. The pivot axis body is preferably rotatably mounted on the main shield. Furthermore, the pivot axis body is preferably rotationally fixed to the lifting cylinder, the rotation locking device, in particular the rod-shaped locking element of the rotation locking device, and / or the overload swivel joint.
[0073] The rotary axis body is particularly preferably connected in a rotationally fixed manner to all of the aforementioned elements, i.e. the lifting cylinder, the rotational locking device and the overload swivel joint.
[0074] In principle, the lifting motion of the lifting cylinder can be converted into a rotation of the pivot body by extending or retracting it via a lever mechanism. If the pivot body is rotationally fixed to the overload pivot joint, the overload pivot joint is rotated around the pivot body. Since the overload pivot joint connects the side plate to the main plate, the side plate is also rotated around the pivot body and thus relative to the main plate.
[0075] The same applies to the rotational locking device, in particular the rod-shaped locking element thereof.
[0076] Thus, the lifting cylinder causes the pivoting axis body to rotate. This rotation causes the overload swivel joint and the rotation locking device to pivot around the pivoting axis body. Since both elements are connected to the side plate, the plate is also pivoted.
[0077] A rotationally fixed connection is generally understood to be one in which the connected element rotates with the rotating body when the pivot axis body rotates. However, this does not preclude the connected element from also being pivotably attached to the pivot axis body about another pivot axis.
[0078] If the rotation locking device includes the preferably rod-shaped element, then the preferably rod-shaped element is attached to the pivot body in a rotationally fixed manner and pivotable about an axis of rotation of the rod-shaped element. This allows the rod-shaped element to pivot relative to the pivot joint when it is detached from the side panel. The axis of rotation of the rod-shaped element is preferably oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the pivot body.
[0079] Regardless, the main shield preferably has rotary bearings designed to rotatably mount the rotary axis body on the main shield.
[0080] Another solution according to the invention is provided by a grader for leveling a subsoil. The grader comprises a frame, a coupling device attached to the frame for coupling with a construction machine, in particular a self-propelled machine, and one of the aforementioned leveling blade arrangements, which is also attached to the frame.
[0081] The dozer blade arrangement serves as a tool for leveling the subsoil.
[0082] The construction machine is used to move the grader across the ground, enabling the leveling work to be carried out. The grader is moved by being pulled by the construction machine. For example, the construction machine could be a tractor or a towing vehicle.
[0083] The coupling device can feature a variety of different coupling mechanisms in conjunction with various construction machinery attachment systems. These coupling mechanisms can be designed, for example, as holes, hooks, or eyelets.
[0084] Regardless, the dozer blade assembly is preferably mounted on the machine frame so that it can pivot about at least one pivot axis. Particularly preferably, this pivot axis runs parallel to the direction of travel x. This allows for easy adjustment of the inclination of the dozer blade assembly or the inclination of the main blade. Brief description of the drawings
[0085] The various and exemplary features described above can be combined with one another according to the invention, insofar as this is technically sensible and suitable. Further features, advantages, and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments and with reference to the figures.
[0086] The figures used to illustrate the exemplary embodiments show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a grader with a leveling blade arrangement according to a first embodiment of the invention, wherein the side blade is arranged in the leveling position; Fig. 2 a top view of the Fig. 1 the grader or the dozer blade arrangement shown; Fig. 3den in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2Fig. 4 shows the grader shown, wherein the overload protection is triggered so that the side plate can be moved from the grading position to the protective position; Fig. 4 shows the grader or the grader blade assembly shown in the previous figures, wherein the side plate is arranged in the transport position; Fig. 5 shows an enlarged detail view of the lifting mechanism of the grader blade assembly; Fig. 6 shows the grader or the grader blade assembly shown in the previous figures, to explain a locking device that locks the side plate in the transport position; Fig. 7 shows a perspective view of a grader with a grader blade assembly according to a first embodiment of the invention, wherein the side plate is arranged in the grading position; Fig. 8 shows a top view of the grader shown in the previous figures. Fig. 7 the grader or the dozer blade assembly shown; and Fig. 9 a top view of the in Fig. 7The grader or dozer blade arrangement shown, wherein the side blade is in the stowed position. Ways to implement the invention
[0087] The Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show a grader 200 according to the invention with a leveling blade arrangement 100 according to the invention.
[0088] The grader 200 comprises a frame 300, a coupling device 400, and a dozer blade assembly 100. Specifically, the coupling device 400 and the dozer blade assembly 100 are attached to the frame 300. The coupling device 400 is located in the front section of the grader 200 (viewed in the direction of travel x) and serves to couple the grader 200 to a construction machine. This allows the grader 200 to be towed behind the construction machine.
[0089] As in the Fig. 1 and the Fig. 2As can be seen, the dozer blade assembly 100 comprises a main blade 110 and a side blade 120. The main blade 110 has a central section 112 and two side sections 111 extending from the central section 112. Angled wings 113 extend from the ends of each of the side sections 111. The central section 112 extends in the lateral direction y, and the two side sections 111 are arranged at an angle of preferably approximately 45° extending obliquely outwards. The wings 113 extend in the direction of travel x.
[0090] As in Fig. 2 As shown, the main sign 110 serves to level a central track C extending in the direction of travel. The side sign 120 serves to level a lateral track S that borders the central track C in the lateral direction y. Thus, for example, the path is leveled using the central track C and the edge of the path using the lateral track S.
[0091] In the Figs. 1 and 2In the position shown, the side shield 120 is in a leveling position in which the side shield 120 projects in the lateral direction y on the main shield 110 and is designed to level the lateral track S.
[0092] The side sign 120 is held against the main sign 110 by means of a holding device 130.
[0093] The holding device 130 includes an overload protection device 131. The overload protection device 131 is designed to cause the side plate 120 to pivot around an overload pivot joint 132a into a protective position when an overload is applied to it. However, to prevent the side plate 120 from pivoting around the overload pivot joint 132a under smaller forces and to keep it in its leveling position, the overload protection device 131 includes a corresponding rotation locking device 133. The rotation locking device 133 is designed to lock the overload pivot joint 132a in such a way that the side plate 120 cannot pivot around the overload pivot joint 132a.
[0094] As in Fig. 2As can be seen, the rotation locking device 133 has a rod-shaped locking element 134 that holds the side plate 120 in the leveling position against the main plate 110. The rod-shaped locking element 134 is connected to the main plate 110 and to an outer area of the side plate 120.
[0095] The rod-shaped locking element 134 is connected to the side plate 120 by means of a fastening element designed as a predetermined breaking element 135.
[0096] The overload protection device 131 functions as follows: If the side plate 120 comes into contact with an obstacle, a force acts on the side plate 120, pushing it backwards, i.e., in the opposite direction to the direction of travel x. If an overload occurs, the force is so high that it causes the predetermined breaking element 135 to break. This results in, as described in Fig. 3The connection between the side shield 120 and the rod-shaped locking element 134 is separated, allowing the side shield 120 to pivot rearward around the rotation axis R1 of the overload swivel joint 132a. The side shield 120 is then in the protective position behind the main shield 110 when viewed in the direction of travel x and within the extension range of the main shield 110 when viewed in the lateral direction y, such that the side shield 120 is covered by the main shield 110.
[0097] Although this is not entirely clear from the figures, the predetermined breaking element 135 is preferably designed as a fastening element, for example as a screw or the like. The fastening element then forms the connection between the side plate 120 and the rod-shaped locking element 134.
[0098] In an undamaged state, the predetermined breaking element 135 therefore locks, as in Fig. 2To be recognized, a pivoting or rotation of the side plate 120 about the overload pivot joint 132a can be observed. In a damaged state of the predetermined breaking element 135, the predetermined breaking element 135 causes a pivoting or rotation of the side plate 120 about the overload pivot joint 132a, as shown in Fig. 3 to recognize, free.
[0099] As for example already in Fig. 1 As can be seen, the holding device 130 also has a lifting device 140. In the Figs. 1 to 3 Parts of the lifting device 140 are hidden behind a housing 145 and are not fully visible.
[0100] The Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 However, the lifting device 140 is shown with the housing 145 removed, so that the function and structure of the lifting device 140 are more clearly visible.
[0101] The lifting device 140 is designed to move the side plate 120 between the in Fig. 1 shown lowered leveling position and the one in Fig. 4to raise or lower the side panel 120 in the raised transport position shown. The raising and lowering of the side panel 120 is achieved by pivoting it around a lifting swivel joint 141.
[0102] As in Fig. 5 As can be seen, the lifting swivel joint 141 has a pivot body 142 which is rotatably mounted on the main plate 110. In particular, the pivot body 142 is rotatably mounted on the main plate 110 by means of several rotary bearings 114. The pivot body 142 rotates about the axis of rotation R2 of the lifting swivel joint 141. The rotation is effected by means of a lifting cylinder 143. The lifting cylinder 143 is connected to the pivot body 142 by means of a lever mechanism 144 such that a lifting movement of the lifting cylinder 143 causes a rotational movement of the pivot body 143.
[0103] As in Fig. 5As can be seen, the side plate 120 is rotationally fixed to the pivot body 143. This causes the side plate 120 to pivot about the axis of rotation R2 when the pivot body 142 rotates. The overload swivel joint 132a is arranged as a connecting element between the side plate 120 and the pivot body 142.
[0104] In principle, the overload swivel joint 132a is therefore fixed to the pivot body 142 in a rotationally fixed manner. Furthermore, the rod-shaped locking element 134 is also connected to the pivot body 142 in a rotationally fixed manner. Thus, the rod-shaped locking element 134 can rise and fall together with the side plate 120.
[0105] Even though the rod-shaped locking element 134 is rotationally fixed to the pivot body 142, it is not rigidly connected to the pivot body 142. Rather, the rod-shaped locking element 134 is connected to the pivot body 142 via a joint 136. The joint 136 has an axis of rotation that preferably runs at least substantially parallel to the axis of rotation R1 of the overload pivot joint 132a. If the connection between the rod-shaped locking element 134 and the side plate 120 is broken when the predetermined breaking element 135 breaks, the rod-shaped locking element 134 can be pivoted accordingly due to the joint 136. Thus, the rod-shaped locking element 134 does not block the side plate 120.
[0106] In Fig. 6Another aspect of the present invention becomes apparent. The dozer blade assembly 100 has a locking device 150 designed to lock the side plate 120 in its transport position. In other words, the locking device 150 holds the side plate 120 in the transport position. For this purpose, the locking device 150 has a locking element 151 that comes into contact with a projecting element of the side plate 120. Thus, the locking device 150 enables the safe transport of the dozer blade assembly 100.
[0107] The Figs. 7 to 8 Figure 1 shows a grader 200 according to the invention with a leveling blade arrangement 100 according to the invention in a second embodiment. The grader 200 has a similar structure to that shown in the Figures 1 to 6 described grader 200.
[0108] The grader 200 also features the equipment frame 300. The equipment frame 300 includes, for example, two coupling devices 400 and the dozer blade assembly 100. Specifically, the coupling device 400 and the dozer blade assembly 100 are attached to the equipment frame 300.
[0109] A first coupling device 400 is arranged in a front area of the grader 200 as viewed in the direction of travel x and serves to be coupled to a construction machine. This allows the grader 200 to be towed behind the construction machine.
[0110] A second coupling device 400 is located in a rear area of the grader 200, viewed in the direction of travel x, and also serves to be coupled to a construction machine. This allows the grader 200 to be pushed in front of the construction machine.
[0111] As in the Figs. 7 to 8As can be seen, the dozer blade assembly 100 also features the V-shaped main blade 110 and the side blade 120. The main blade 110 optionally includes the central section 112 and two side sections 111 extending from the central section 112. Optionally, angled wings 113 extend from each of the side sections 111. The central section 112 extends in the lateral direction y, and the two side sections 111 are arranged obliquely outwards at an angle of preferably approximately 45°. The wings 113 extend in the direction of travel x.
[0112] The main leveling plate 110 is used here as well to level the central track C, which extends in the direction of travel. The side leveling plate 120 is used to level the lateral track S, which borders the central track C in the lateral direction y. For example, the path is leveled using the central track C, and the edge of the path is leveled using the lateral track S. The tracks C and S and the directions are Fig. 2 to remove and not put back into the Figures 7 to 9 marked.
[0113] In the Fig. 7 and 8 In the position shown, the side plate 120 is in a leveling position in which it projects beyond the main plate 110 in the lateral direction y and is designed to level the lateral track S. In the Fig. 9 In the position shown, side panel 120 is in a stowed position.
[0114] The side sign 120 is held on the main sign 110 by means of a holding device 130 with overload protection 131.
[0115] In contrast to the previous figures, the holding device 130 is located in the Figures 7 to 9 The embodiment shown is designed as a lifting cylinder 137. The overload protection device 131 is designed as a draining device for draining working fluid from the lifting cylinder 137.
[0116] The lifting cylinder 137 performs several functions. On the one hand, it acts as a holding device 130, on the other hand as an overload protection device 131, and it also replaces the lifting device 140, since the side plate 120 can be pivoted laterally between the leveling position and the stowage position by means of the lifting cylinder 137.
[0117] In the Fig. 9 In the stowage position shown, the side sign 120 is arranged behind the main sign 110 when viewed in the direction of travel X. The side sign 120 extends at least substantially parallel to the direction of travel X.
[0118] The lifting cylinder 137 connects, in particular, a side panel 111, here the right side panel, to the side plate 120. The side panel 111 and an inner end of the side plate 120 are connected by a pivot joint 132, around which the side plate 120 can pivot between the leveling position and the stowed position. The axis of rotation of the pivot joint 132 extends upwards, i.e., in the z-direction. The lifting cylinder 137 engages the side plate 120 closer to its inner end than to its outer end.
[0119] If the side plate 120, which is in the leveling position, comes into contact with an obstacle, and the resulting overload on the side plate 120 becomes too great, working fluid escapes from the lifting cylinder 137 through the drain device. This causes the side plate 120 to pivot in the direction of the Fig. 9 stow the vehicle in the indicated position until the obstacle has been passed.
[0120] As in Fig. 8As can be seen, the side shield 120, in its leveling position, forms a V-shape with the right side panel, which is inverted to the V-shape of the main shield 110. Also, in Fig. 8 to recognize that the side plate 120 is arranged in its leveling position on the main plate 110 in such a way that an area worked by the side plate 120 and an area worked by the main plate 110 overlap.
[0121] It should be noted that the features of the invention described with reference to individual embodiments or variants, such as the type and design of the individual components as well as their precise dimensions and spatial arrangement, may also be present in other embodiments, unless otherwise specified or is precluded for technical reasons. Furthermore, not all features of such combined features of individual embodiments need necessarily be implemented in a given embodiment. Reference sign
