Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of sunshade and facade ventilation devices, but also to devices for manufacturing a batch for a sunshade and facade ventilation device.
[0002] In the above field, custom-made openwork cladding solutions are known. Such solutions can include wooden or laminated panels that are attached in various ways to the facade of a building. These are primarily decorative solutions and there is no ventilation effect, as the panels are too close together.
[0003] There are sunshade and facade ventilation devices that include an openwork structure that allows air to pass through and provides direct protection from the sun's rays. However, such devices include a heavy metal structure that is difficult to install on the facade of a building.
[0004] The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks by proposing a sunshade and facade ventilation device that is easy to manufacture, transport and install on site and which can quickly adapt to various specifications.
[0005] The invention relates to a sunshade and facade ventilation device comprising at least one set of adjacent and independent batches intended to be arranged on a facade, a batch comprising two parallel cables between which a plurality of panels is mounted, each panel having substantially the shape of a straight block comprising two main faces defining a width and a height and two transverse faces defining a depth, the panels of the same batch all comprising substantially the same width, at least two consecutive panels of the same batch being spaced apart by a distance substantially equal to the height of one of the panels, the cables being stretched vertically and fixed at their two ends to the facade or to at least one intermediate element fixed to the facade and means for attaching each panel between two cables associated with a batch.
[0006] The spaced panel design thus makes it possible to form a tight mesh, creating a sunshade as well as a venturi effect, in this case a forced natural ventilation effect, and constitutes a natural protective screen and filters solar radiation. The sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention makes it possible to create temperate intermediate spaces in buildings and to reduce the energy cost of air conditioning.
[0007] According to the invention, the sunshade and facade ventilation device comprises at least one set of adjacent and independent batches. Each batch is independent and can thus be implemented as such, making it possible to provide a flexible and adaptable overall solution. This also facilitates the handling of the sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention, each batch can thus be repaired or replaced without affecting the rest of the structure.
[0008] The implementation of a batch design makes it possible, on the one hand, to facilitate the assembly of the sunshade and facade ventilation device on site by deploying as many batches as necessary, on the other hand, to allow easy handling of the batches in the form of easily transportable rolls, and finally, to provide for adaptable batch manufacturing. Such manufacturing can be automated, but can also be adapted to different specifications, namely relating to the dimensions of the panels making up a batch and to the lengths of the cables and can thus be adapted to the particular shapes of a facade. The sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention can advantageously cover only certain parts of a facade of a building.
[0009] Thus, the invention relating to a design of an assembly of independent batches formed by spaced panels makes it possible to propose a sun-shading and facade ventilation device which is effective in its primary functions, namely promoting ventilation and filtering of solar radiation from a facade, and which is modular and quick to install on site, and can therefore be adapted to different facade architectures.
[0010] The elements making up the sunshade and facade ventilation system are thus assembled dry and can be easily separated, making the sunshade and facade ventilation system easy to recycle.
[0011] It is also possible to assemble two to four batches in the workshop and bring them to the site to place the sets next to each other and fix them to the facade.
[0012] Batches or sets of batches can be stored and transported in the form of rolls or in accordions, making them easier to install on the facade.
[0013] According to a feature of the invention, the means for attaching a panel between two cables are located on the two opposite transverse faces of a panel. Positioning the attachment means on the two opposite transverse faces of a panel increases the stability of a batch but also increases safety when handling the wound batches. In addition, this allows the main face of the panels to be left intact for an aesthetic appearance.
[0014] According to another characteristic of the invention, each panel comprises on two opposite transverse faces a vertical groove intended to receive a cable. Passing each cable through a groove provided for this purpose makes it possible to reduce the size of a batch, the width of a batch thus corresponding to the width of the chosen panels.
[0015] According to a characteristic of the invention, the grooves comprise a triangular section. The implementation of a groove comprising a triangular section advantageously makes it possible, on the one hand, to be able to adapt to different cable diameters and, on the other hand, to add a pinching effect for the cable in the groove.
[0016] According to a characteristic of the invention, the means for attaching each panel between two cables associated with a batch comprise at least one staple attaching a cable to the transverse face of a panel. Stapling a cable directly onto the transverse face of a panel and according to one embodiment, directly into the housing provided for this purpose, for example a groove, is a reliable and easily implemented attachment means for different types of materials that can make up the panel. The staple is thus highly compatible with panels made of wood or composite material.
[0017] According to one embodiment of the invention, the cables and staples are made of stainless steel. The use of stainless steel is particularly advantageous for the sunshade and facade ventilation device intended to withstand external weather conditions such as all kinds of bad weather, rain, ambient humidity, temperature variations, UV rays, but also wind. Advantageously, the cables and staples are thus resistant to corrosion and are less affected by weathering. Other durable and resistant materials can be used.
[0018] According to a feature of the invention, the adjacent batches are linked two by two by means of at least one two-cable fixing system. The fixing system may comprise a clip clamping two adjacent cables outside the panels.
[0019] According to a characteristic of the invention, at least two panels of the same batch comprise a different height of vertical edges.
[0020] According to another characteristic of the invention, at least one batch comprises panels spaced apart by a distance different from that of two other panels.
[0021] Depending on the geography of the location and the exposure of the facade of the building to be ventilated, it is useful to adjust the space between the panels in the same lot, but also the height of the panels in the same lot to increase air circulation.
[0022] According to a feature of the invention, two adjacent batches do not comprise the same arrangement of panels, namely the dimensions of one or more panels and / or the spacing between two panels. The panels of the same batch or of two adjacent batches may thus have different heights and / or thicknesses. The consecutive panels of the same batch and the consecutive panels of two adjacent batches may be spaced at a variable distance.
[0023] According to one embodiment of the invention, the consecutive panels of the same batch comprise a greater space between them towards the top of the batch intended to be laid towards the top of the facade, opposite the ground. This openwork structure architecture makes it possible to promote the venturi effect and thus the ventilation effect for the facade.
[0024] It is also interesting to be able to arrange two adjacent lots that do not have the same panel layout. Advantageously, this also allows for the formation of various patterns for the sunshade and facade ventilation system.
[0025] According to a feature of the invention, at least two batches are not in the same plane. The cables remain parallel but the arrangement of the panels from one batch to another may include a different plane comprising an angle of up to 90 degrees. An angle of 180° corresponds to an alignment of the batches and reducing this angle makes it possible to design an openwork structure presenting a relief.
[0026] According to a feature of the invention, the intermediate structure comprises a high structure and a low structure and the cables are fixed at their two ends to the high structure and the low structure. High and low structures having areas for receiving and fixing the ends of the cables can be provided upstream, thus facilitating the removal of each batch on the facade.
[0027] The invention also relates to a device for manufacturing a batch for a sunshade and ventilation device comprising a frame comprising a belt, two cable distribution systems mounted upstream of a panel insertion station, means for parallel tensioning of the cables, two systems for attaching the panel between the two cables and a forward movement system and means for controlling the attachment systems and the forward movement system.
[0028] Such a batch manufacturing system makes it easier to implement the sunshade and ventilation system, as the batches can be produced very quickly and assembled directly into a unit ready to be brought to the site.
[0029] According to a characteristic of the invention, the advancement system comprises a plate intended to receive the ends of the two cables, the plate being capable of translating along the belt. Advantageously, the use of a plate intended to translate also makes it possible to tension the cables.
[0030] According to one embodiment of the invention, the systems for attaching the panel between the two cables comprise two staplers arranged opposite each other at the insertion station of a panel. The use of staplers located directly at the insertion station of a panel makes it possible to reduce the size of the manufacturing device but also to be able to carry out manufacturing steps in parallel, namely to advance the panel to staple it to the cable at different locations.
[0031] Of course, the various features, variants and embodiments of the invention may be combined with each other in various combinations to the extent that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive.
[0032] In addition, various other characteristics of the invention emerge from the appended description given with reference to the drawings which illustrate non-limiting forms of embodiment of the invention and where: [ Fig.1 ] is a view of an exemplary embodiment of a sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention, [ Fig.2 ] is a perspective view of a panel compatible with the sunshade and facade ventilation device of the figure 1 , [ Fig.3 ] is a perspective view of a detail of the figure 1 , [ Fig.4 ] is a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of an intermediate structure compatible with the sunshade and ventilation device according to the invention, [ Fig.5 ] is a perspective view of a fastener used in the sunshade and facade ventilation device of the figure 1 , [ Fig.6 ] is a view of a second exemplary embodiment of a sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention, [ Fig.7 ] is a view of a third example of embodiment of a sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention, [ Fig.8 ] is a view of a fourth example of embodiment of a sunshade and facade ventilation device according to the invention, [ Fig.9 ] is an example of an embodiment of a device for manufacturing a batch according to the invention, [ Fig.10 ] is a perspective view of a detail of the figure 9 , [ Fig.11 ] is a top view of a detail of the device for manufacturing a batch of the figure 9 , And [ Fig.12 ] is a perspective view of a detail of the device for manufacturing a batch of the figure 9 .
[0033] It should be noted that in these figures the structural and / or functional elements common to the different variants may have the same references.
[0034] The invention aims to propose a sunshade and facade ventilation device that is easily adaptable to different specifications and easily transportable and installable on a facade.
[0035] For these purposes, a sunshade and ventilation device designated by the reference 1 as illustrated in figure 1 includes a set of adjacent lots 2 intended to be arranged on a facade 3.
[0036] A batch 2 within the meaning of the invention comprises two parallel cables 4 between which a plurality of panels 5 are mounted.
[0037] A panel 5 compatible with the invention as illustrated in the figure 2 has substantially the shape of a straight block comprising two main faces defining a width l and a height h and two transverse faces defining a depth p. The panels 5 of the same batch 2 all have substantially the same width l.
[0038] According to the embodiment illustrated in the figure 1 , the sunshade and ventilation device 1 comprises an assembly comprising four batches 2. Each batch 2 comprises five substantially identical panels 5 spaced apart by a distance greater than the height of a panel 5. And two adjacent batches 2 are arranged in a staggered manner, that is to say that, on the one hand, the respective panels 5 of two adjacent batches 2 are not arranged side by side, on the contrary, each panel 5 is located next to the space created between two panels 5 of the neighboring batch 2, and on the other hand the batches 2 are arranged with an identical plan by skipping one 2.
[0039] Other embodiments of batch 2 and set of batch 2 are described below.
[0040] The cables 4 used are metallic and preferably stainless steel. Other materials allowing sufficient tension to be maintained in the cables 4 when the cables 4 are fixed to the facade 3 are compatible within the scope of the invention.
[0041] The panels 5 used can be made of wood or composite materials or even include metallic materials.
[0042] A batch 2 also includes means for attaching each panel 5 between two cables 4.
[0043] For its purposes, the solution illustrated in particular in figures 2 et 3 comprises a groove 6 in each of the transverse faces of the panel 5 through which a cable 3 passes. And the attachment is ensured by five staples 7 which trap a cable 3 in the groove 6 of a panel 5. Other attachment systems not shown are compatible within the framework of the invention.
[0044] The staples 7 can be made of composite materials or even include metallic materials such as stainless steel.
[0045] Visible at the figure 1 , each lot 2 is attached to a high structure 8 and a low structure 9, both high structures 8 and low structures 9 being fixed to the facade 3.
[0046] Different solutions for attaching the cables 4 to an intermediate structure 10 are possible within the framework of the invention. figure 4 illustrates an exemplary embodiment of an intermediate structure 10 comprising a high structure 8 and a low structure 9. The high structure 8 illustrated comprises a first elongated profile 11 on which the ends of the cables 3 of the sunshade and ventilation device 1 are fixed and this first elongated profile 11 is held by a plurality of first clamps 12 which are themselves fixed to a first plate 13 of the facade 3. The low structure 9 illustrated comprises a second elongated profile 14 on which the ends of the cables 3 of the sunshade and ventilation device 1 are fixed and this second elongated element 11 is held by a plurality of second clamps 15 which are themselves fixed to a second plate 16 of the facade 3. The second clamps 15 are each connected to a tension spring 17 which makes it possible to pull on each of the second clamps 15 and thus to vertically tension the cables 3.The term vertically relates to the facade 3. Thus, the sunshade and ventilation device 1 is parallel to the facade of a building. This facade 3 may include an angle with the terrestrial reference frame; the building may, for example, be leaning.
[0047] According to one embodiment of the invention, visible in particular in the figure 1 , the adjacent or so-called neighboring lots 2 of a sunshade and ventilation device 1 are linked two by two by means of several two-cable fixing systems 3.
[0048] These fixing systems may include a ferrule 20 visible at the figure 5 A ferrule, a ferrule, a clip can be used to hold together the two neighboring 3 cables from two adjacent 2 batches.
[0049] On the figure 1 , two adjacent lots 2 are held together by means of eleven ferrules 20 arranged at the offset between each panel 5.
[0050] Other styles of forming batches 2 and assemblies comprising various batches 2 are compatible with the invention.
[0051] THE figures 6 à 8 illustrate various examples of embodiments comprising different openwork structures for a sunshade and ventilation device 1.
[0052] On the figure 6 , a set comprises four identical batches 2. A batch 2 comprises twelve substantially identical first panels 5a intended to cover the bottom of the facade 3 and ten substantially identical second panels 5b intended to cover the top of the facade 3. The first panels 5b comprise a greater height than the second panels 5b. The space between two consecutive panels 5a, 5b is greater for the second panels 5b, this space increasing progressively towards the top of batch 2 intended to be placed towards the top of the facade 3.
[0053] There figure 7 illustrates another example of an embodiment of a set comprising four lots 2, two lots 2 spaced apart from a lot 2 being identical. However, the lots 2 comprise six substantially identical first panels 5a intended to cover the bottom of the facade 3 and five substantially identical second panels 5b intended to cover the top of the facade 3. The first panels 5b comprise a greater height than the second panels 5b. The space between two consecutive panels 5a, 5b is substantially identical along a lot 2 except towards the middle of the lot 2 where this space is slightly reduced for an aesthetic appearance.
[0054] Another embodiment of an openwork structure is illustrated in figure 8 with a set comprising four identical batches 2, two batches 2 spaced from a batch 2 being in the same plane. A batch 2 comprises twelve substantially identical first panels 5a intended to cover the bottom of the facade 3, and ten substantially identical second panels 5b intended to cover the top of the facade 3. The first panels 5b comprise a greater height than the second panels 5b. The space between two consecutive panels 5a, 5b is greater for the second panels 5b, this space gradually increasing towards the top of the batch 2 intended to be placed towards the top of the facade 3. Two adjacent batches 2 are not in the same plane, that is to say that there is an angle of 150 degrees between two adjacent batches 2. According to the illustrated embodiment, the twelve first panels 5a comprise different thicknesses thus accentuating the aesthetic appearance.
[0055] The design of a facade sunshade and ventilation device 1 comprising one or more sets of batches 2 allows for batch-by-batch manufacturing and assembly of a set of batches 2 in the workshop before being mounted on site.
[0056] To do this, the invention also relates to a device for manufacturing a batch 2 for a sunshade and ventilation device 1. An exemplary embodiment of a manufacturing device designated by the reference 30 is illustrated in figures 9 à 12 .
[0057] A manufacturing device 30 according to the invention comprises a frame 31 comprising a belt 32 intended to receive the batch being manufactured and thus comprising a manufacturing progress direction.
[0058] The manufacturing device 30 comprises two distribution systems for a cable 4. Two reels 33 for winding a cable 4 visible at figures 9 à 11 are thus mounted upstream and below the belt 32 in order to be able to unroll the cables 4 towards an insert station 34 of a panel 5.
[0059] The insert station 34 is advantageously located above the reels 33 and comprises two staplers 35 arranged opposite each other and mounted on strips 36 allowing the staplers 35 to be positioned according to the dimensions of the desired panel 5.
[0060] There figure 12 illustrates a plate 37 for advancing the manufacturing device 30. The plate 37 comprises two lugs 38 capable of receiving the end of a cable 4. The lugs 38 are capable of translating on the plate 37 so as to choose the desired spacing corresponding to the width of the chosen panel 5.
[0061] The belt 32 comprises a longitudinal opening 38 and the plate 37 comprises an advancement element 39 extending through the opening 38 and fixed to an advancement system allowing the rectilinear translational movement of the plate 37 along the belt 32. According to this embodiment, the advancement system comprises a pulling cable 40 connected, on the one hand, to the advancement element 39 of the plate 37 and, on the other hand, to a motorized rotation axis 41 located under the belt 32 at the opposite end of the insert station 34.
[0062] To manufacture a batch 2 for a sunshade and ventilation device 1 according to the invention by means of a manufacturing device 30 as described above, the two cables 4 coming from the reels 33 are attached to the lugs 38 of the advancement plate 37. The lugs are positioned on the plate 37 so that the distance between the two cables corresponds substantially to the width of the chosen panels 5.
[0063] The advancement system is controlled to tension the cables 4.
[0064] A first selected panel 5 is arranged at the insert station 34 between the cables 4, the cables 4 passing in the grooves 6 of the panel 5 and the staplers 35 are positioned respectively at the level of the first staples to be placed on the cables 4 and the two transverse faces of the panel 5.
[0065] The two staplers are activated so as to staple each cable 4 into each groove of the panel 5.
[0066] A control unit allows the plate 37 to advance in order to position the staplers 35 at the level of the second staples to be placed on the cables 4 and the two transverse faces of the panel 5.
[0067] This step is repeated for as many staples as needed.
[0068] The control unit then activates the advancement of the plate 37 to create the desired space between two consecutive panels 5 of the batch 2 and another chosen panel 5 is positioned on the insert station 34.
[0069] The control unit then activates the attachment systems in conjunction with the advancement system in order to progressively attach each introduced panel 5, thus creating a batch 2 according to the desired openwork structure.
[0070] According to this illustrated embodiment, the belt 32 comprises a length corresponding to the maximum length of a batch 2. The batch 2 is stored in an accordion or in the form of a reel.
[0071] According to another embodiment not illustrated, batch 2 is produced continuously and can be recovered at the end of the belt 32, for example in the form of a reel or in an accordion. A batch 2 is cut to the desired length.
[0072] A set comprising several chosen batches 2 is then assembled.
[0073] And, one or more assemblies are brought to the site of the facade 3 of the building to be ventilated to be mounted directly on the facade 3 or on an intermediate structure 10 provided for this purpose.
[0074] Of course, various other modifications may be made to the invention within the scope of the appended claims.
