[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] A SYSTEM ENABLING THE CONTROL OF HARMONIC, FREQUENCY, AND AMPLITUDE PARAMETERS IN VIBRATION DEVICES
[0003] Technical Field
[0004] The invention relates to a system for controlling harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters in vibration devices.
[0005] More specifically, the present invention involves transmitting the rotational motion obtained from a drive assembly to an axle capable of moving on a plate surface. The mentioned axle is configured to move on the said surface at a certain angle with respect to a drive shaft, thereby adjusting harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters in a system.
[0006] Prior Art
[0007] Ore enrichment or mineral processing refers to a process used to separate valuable minerals or metals from ore. The shaking table is a significant piece of equipment utilized in the mentioned ore enrichment process. In particular, the shaking table is used to separate valuable or heavy minerals, such as gold, silver, tin, tungsten, zircon, and others, from ore mixtures. This process is often carried out to concentrate valuable minerals in raw ores extracted from mines.
[0008] There are various parameters involved in the process of further concentrating minerals in ore enrichment equipment. Among these, frequency, amplitude, the variation of amplitude over time, and adjustable harmonic motion are key factors. The shaking table employs vibration to separate minerals based on differences in density during the enrichment process. However, the ability to adjust the amplitude settings and provide harmonic motion in the shaking table affects the success percentage of the process, such as separation based on density.
[0009] The inability to adjust the desired amplitude or provide the desired harmonic motion to the machine's output negatively impacts the efficiency of operations. Achieving the desired motion and amplitudes in shaking tables requires a high level of technological equipment. Consequently, factors such as precise control systems used in machine design, powerful vibration motors, and material quality contribute to an increase in costs.
[0010] The document RS63452B1 discloses a winding machine for the stretching film to be wound onto coils. The mentioned machine is used in plastic film production lines for the production of reels made by continuously winding a film strip. However, it does not provide an explanation regarding the adjustment of amplitude and simple harmonic motion on shaking tables.
[0011] In document CN217126205U, a system is disclosed that is designed to effectively shorten the transport path, reduce motion impediments during transportation, and enhance the efficiency of feeding and unloading. In this document, the X-axis driving mechanism is utilized to drive the moving frame backward in the X-axis direction relative to the crossbeam carrier. Nevertheless, there is no explanation in the mentioned document regarding the adjustment of amplitude and simple harmonic motion on oscillating tables.
[0012] The document CN211754465U discloses a shaker (shaking table) structure suitable for laboratory devices in areas such as electrophoresis gel color removal / dyeing, sample mixing, molecular hybridization, immunoprecipitation, protein suppression, cell culture, and similar fields. The document aims to reduce noise during operation and extend the motor's service life.
[0013] In conclusion, considering the drawbacks of the shaking tables used in the prior art, such as the inability to provide the desired simple harmonic motion, frequency, and amplitude, and the high costs associated with achieving these conditions when they are met, there is a need for a practical system design that allows adjustable harmonic motion, i.e., a motion that follows a graph in any harmonic shape, providing variable amplitude, variable frequency, and linear reciprocating (back-and-forth) motion.
[0014] Object and Summary of the Invention
[0015] The object of the invention is to enable the control of harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters of motion generated in machines operating with any kind of oscillating motion and vibration, such as a shaking table.
[0016] Another object of the invention is to facilitate the adjustment of the system's amplitude using a rod.
[0017] Another object of the invention is to adjust the harmonic parameters of the motion generated in the drive assembly with the help of a plate with a slope difference between its lower and upper ends, and an axle moving on said plate.
[0018] Another object of the invention is to eliminate simple harmonic motion which non-adjustable thanks to concave and convex slopes on the plate surface.
[0019] The invention further aims to provide a system that allows linear (repeating back-and-forth) motion following a harmonic motion graph that can be selected through adjustable attachments. Additionally, the invention aims to provide a system that transforms rotational motion into linear motion, where the amplitude can be adjusted.
[0020] A system for controlling harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters in vibration devices comprises a drive assembly capable of generating rotational motion and a motion transfer assembly that transforms the received rotational motion into linear motion for an output shaft, in order to control the harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters of the rotational motion received from the mentioned drive assembly, the system further comprises:

[0045] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0046] The invention relates to a system for adjusting harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters by transmitting rotational motion received from a drive assembly (T) to an axle (20) movable on a surface (10.1 ) of a plate (10), and by moving said axle (20) on said surface (10.1 ) configured to have an inclination at a certain angle on a different axis relative to a drive shaft (30). In other words, the invention relates to a system that comprises a drive assembly (T) capable of generating rotational motion, a motion transfer assembly (H) that transforms this motion into linear motion transmitted to an output shaft (50), and controls harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters in vibrational devices. The system is specifically configured to control the harmonic, frequency, and amplitude parameters of the rotational motion obtained from the drive assembly (T).
[0047] The present invention fundamentally comprises at least one plate (10), at least one bolt (10.3), at least one axle (20), at least one bearing (20.1 ), at least one joint pin (20.2), at least one drive shaft (30), at least one rod (40), at least one output shaft (50), at least one motion transfer assembly (H), and at least one drive assembly (T) structures. The mentioned plate (10) comprises at least one surface (10.1 ). The mentioned motion transfer assembly (H) includes at least one spherical joint (k) and at least one piston assembly (p).
[0048] The mentioned plate (10) in conjunction with the mentioned axle (20) provides the generation of the desired harmonic motion. The mentioned plate (10) is preferably configured with a horizontal cylindrical geometry comprising a cavity (10.2) and can be configured in different geometries based on preferences and needs. The cavity (10.2) is optional and may not be present in an alternative configuration of the present invention.
[0049] The base of the mentioned horizontal cylinder - plate (10) - on the side of the rod (40) is configured at a right angle, while the base on the side of the axle (20) is configured to form a specific angle. In other words, the base on the axle (20) side is structured to have a certain inclination angle at a different axis with respect to a drive shaft (30). The mentioned angle is formed between a first axis (A) and a second axis (B). This angle implies a specific inclination. Here, the first axis (A) represents the axle (20) axis, indicating the axis extending along the axle (20) in the position where the axle (20) is located. The mentioned second axis (B) represents the drive shaft (30) axis, indicating the axis extending along the drive shaft (30) in the position where the drive shaft (30) is located. The change in the angle between the first axis (A) and the second axis (B) corresponds to a change in amplitude. In one embodiment of the invention, the plate (10) is fixed by adjusting the angle value to the desired amplitude. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the position of the plate (10) can be changed with the help of a rod (40), and therefore, the angle value can be altered. Thus, the amplitude value is adjusted.
[0050] The base of said plate (10) - a horizontal cylinder having a cavity 10.2) inside- on the axle (20) is referred to as the surface (10.1 ). In another embodiment of the invention, the mentioned surface (10.1 ) includes indented, protruding, sharp, or smoothed designs based on the desired harmonic motion to be obtained / created in the output shaft (50). Different surface (10.1 ) configurations cause the axle (20) moving on the surface (10.1 ) to engage in recesses or protrusions according to the surface (10.1 ) design, resulting in the formation of different harmonic motions.
[0051] The mentioned plate (10) is preferably connected to the desired vibration device through the bolt (10.3). The bolt (10.3) is preferably attached to the plate (10) near the center, enabling the plate (10) to be connected to the vibration device. The bolt (10.3) allows rotational movement along an axis based on the point of connection to the plate (10), acting as a hinge for the plate (10). The plate (10) can change its angle by moving when the bolt (10.3) acts as a hinge during a possible forward and backward motion of the rod (40). More specifically, the plate (10) comprises at least one surface
[0052] (10.1 ) configured to have a certain inclination at a different axis with respect to the drive shaft (30) and to allow movement of an axle (20). As a result of the motion created by the drive assembly (T), the mentioned axle (20) moves rotationally on the surface (10.1 ), enabling the generation of different amplitudes, frequencies, and harmonics.
[0053] The mentioned axle (20) is connected to the drive shaft (30), which is passing through the gap (10.2) within the mentioned plate (10), using a joint pin (20.2). The axle (20) is preferably connected to the drive shaft (30) near the center. It is cylindrically configured, and at one end of this cylindrical structure and at the other end, there are bearing (20.1 ) structures to allow smooth movement on the surface
[0054] (10.1 ). The axle (20) is positioned so that both bearings (20.1 ) will contact the mentioned surface
[0055] (10.1 ) and rotate on the surface (10.1 ) as the axle (20) moves. The axle (20) is preferably connected to the motion transfer assembly (H) near any end or, in other words, near any bearing (20.1 ). Here, the axle (20) is connected to the motion transfer assembly (H) with a spherical joint (k). The mentioned bearing (20.1 ) is preferably configured in a cylindrical geometry and performs rotational movement in contact with the surface (10.1 ) when the axle (20) moves. The joint pin (20.2) ensures the connection between the axle (20) and the drive shaft (30). More specifically, the axle (20) includes a bearing (20.1 ) that can move on the mentioned surface (10.1 ). It rotates along a trajectory on the mentioned surface (10.1 ) in conjunction with the motion it receives from the drive shaft (30) and transmits the resulting motion on the surface (10.1 ) to the motion transfer assembly (H).
[0056] The mentioned drive shaft (30) transmits the motion generated by the drive assembly (T) (for example, rotational motion) to the mentioned axle (20). One end of the drive shaft (30) is connected to the drive assembly (T), and the other end is in contact with the axle (20). The mentioned drive shaft (30) is connected to the axle (20) through a joint pin (20.2), passing through a cavity (10.2) in the mentioned plate (10). By adjusting the revolution of the motion transmitted by the drive assembly (T) to the drive shaft (30), the frequency value of the desired motion can be controlled.
[0057] One end of the mentioned rod (40) is connected to the preferably short (in terms of length) perpendicular base of the mentioned plate (10), and the other end is connected to a manual or automatic controller. Here, the manual controller can be an operator, while the automatic controller can be an adjustable servo motor. The rod (40), with its forward and backward motion along the axis it is connected to on the plate (10), changes the angle of the mentioned plate (10) and adjusts the amplitude of the motion desired to be created in the output shaft (50) of the plate (10) and axle (20) (Figure 2,3). More specifically, the rod (40) adjusts the amplitude of the motion transferred to the mentioned output shaft (50) and changes the angle of the mentioned plate (10) by its forward and backward motion along the axis it is connected to on the plate (10).
[0058] The mentioned output shaft (50) represents the unit where the adjusted / controlled motion in terms of amplitude, frequency, and harmonic is finally transmitted. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the output shaft (50) is a shaft that can be modified according to preferences and needs.
[0059] The mentioned motion transfer assembly (H) linearly transmits the motion resulting from the rotational movement of the mentioned axle (20) to the output shaft (50). In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the motion transfer assembly (H) comprises at least two spherical joints (k) and at least one piston assembly (p). Different materials can be used here according to preferences and needs, with the primary purpose of linearly transferring the motion created by the plate (10) and axle (20) to the output. The mentioned spherical joint (k) is capable of receiving any motion created by the movement of the axle (20) on the surface (10.1 ) without disrupting it and transmitting it to the piston assembly (p). Preferably, two spherical joints (k) are used in the present invention, but this number can vary according to preferences and needs. In another embodiment of the invention, different equipment is used to serve as the spherical joint (k). The mentioned piston assembly (p) consists of a piston and a cylinder in which the piston performs reciprocating motion. The piston assembly (p) transmits the motion it receives from the spherical joint (k) to the output shaft (50).
[0060] The mentioned drive assembly (T) represents a structure capable of creating rotational movement. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the drive assembly (T) comprises a motor and a belt. In a different embodiment of the invention, the drive assembly (T) can be any equipment that generates rotational motion. The mentioned drive assembly (T) is connected to the mentioned axle (20) through a drive shaft (30).
[0061] The working principle of the invention is explained below.
[0062] The mentioned axle (20) receives the rotational movement generated by the drive assembly (T) from the mentioned drive shaft (30). In other words, the drive shaft (30) transmits the rotational movement it receives from the drive assembly (T) to the axle (20). The axle (20) begins to move rotationally under the influence of the received rotational movement. The axle (20) performs rotational movement along a specific trajectory on the surface (10.1 ) (Figure 4). As the axle (20) moves along the mentioned trajectory on the surface (10.1 ), it creates a harmonic motion depending on the structure of the surface (10.1 ). Any generated harmonic motion is received without disruption by the spherical joint (k) connected to the axle (20) and transmitted to the piston assembly (p). The piston assembly (p), which starts a compression and relaxation movement along a specific axis with the motion transmitted by the spherical joint (k), transmits this movement to the output shaft (50) in a reciprocating manner along the same axis.
[0063] In this description, the orientation or positional relationship indicated by the terms "upper," "lower," "forward," and "backward" is based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the figures and is solely for the clarity and ease of explanation of the technical solution. It does not imply or specify that the device or element in question requires a specific orientation, is built in a particular direction, or operates in a specific manner. Therefore, it should not be understood as a limitation of the invention.
