Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to threaded closure caps intended for closing containers whose neck has a thread. Preferably, these are bottles for aperitifs, liqueurs, vodka and spirits that are consumed gradually, which requires the bottle to be able to be closed and reopened, possibly multiple times.
[0002] Compact threaded closure caps with transparent outer housing, intended for containers with threaded necks, and containing sealing elements snapped inside the outer housing (RF Patent No. 208193U1, 212726U1, 223949U1), are known. The disadvantages of the above mentioned closure caps are the absence of any means of visual indication of the opening of the device and the high risk of using such products for closing counterfeit products.
[0003] The closest in technical essence is a closure device for container, comprising a pour sleeve with means for fixation on the bottle, connected by means of a thread to the outer housing, a base mounted on the rim of the container, an indicator element made in the form of a tamper-evident ring placed between the pour sleeve and the outer housing. The outer housing is made of transparent material and the tamper-evident ring is made with a loose connection, which is able to divide it into two parts after the first opening, and the outer housing and the tamper-evident ring have interacting mating elements. On the outer surface of the pour sleeve, there is a means for blocking the reverse movement, i.e. the movement of the upper part of the tamper-evident ring to its initial position when the container is closed again, with the ability to form a visible interval between the upper and lower parts of said tamper-evident ring, which indicates that an opening has been performed. (RF patent for utility model No. 157757, IPC B65D41 / 00, published on 10.12.2015) - prototype.
[0004] The disadvantage of the prototype is that, because the lower part of the ring remains on the pour sleeve after the first opening, it can be easily removed from the surface of the pour sleeve, which will not provide a sufficient level of visual control of opening, and may also mislead the consumer. In particular, when applying a greater axial force, there is a risk of downwards movement of the upper part of the ring, which will thus ensure its return to its initial position before the first opening.
[0005] The technical result of the invention is to improve the means of visual indication of opening and protection against unauthorized opening of known closure devices with transparent outer housing.
[0006] Said technical result is achieved in that the closure device for container is made to be installed on the rim of a container and comprises a cylindrical sleeve made of transparent material with fixation means on the rim in the form of a thread, a sealing element installed inside the cylindrical sleeve, and an indicator element made in the form of a ring arranged between the cylindrical sleeve and the rim of the container and comprising upper part of the ring and lower part of the ring, connected to each other by a loose connection with the ability of its destruction after the first opening, wherein the lower part of the ring comprises stop protrusions that interact with the rim of the container and provide detachment of the lower part of the ring, wherein the lower part of the ring is made with the ability to be axially displaced to form a visible interval between the upper and lower parts of the ring when the container is opened for the first time. The presence of an indicator ring and the appearance of an interval between the parts of the ring during the first opening provide for increasing the level of visual indication of opening of compact devices with transparent outer housing, as well as provide the required level of protection against unauthorized opening.
[0007] Preferably, the inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve comprises means for holding the lower part of the ring.
[0008] Preferably, the means for holding the lower part of the ring can be made in the form of an annular collar on the inner surface of the lower part of the cylindrical sleeve.
[0009] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the means for holding the lower part of the ring can be made in the form of an annular collar and / or an annular groove on the inner surface of the lower part of the cylindrical sleeve.
[0010] Preferably, said visible interval is visible through the transparent surface of the cylindrical sleeve.
[0011] Preferably, an annular collar holding the upper part of the ring is made on the inner surface of the lower part of the cylindrical sleeve.
[0012] The possibility of implementing the invention, characterized by the above set of features, as well as the possibility of realizing the purpose of the invention, can be confirmed through the description of the construction of the closure device made in accordance with the present invention. The description of the construction is illustrated by graphic materials that show the following: Fig. 1 shows a general cross-sectional view of the closure device before opening; fig. 2 shows general view of the closure device after reclosing; fig. 3 shows general view of the container rim; fig. 4 shows axonometric view of the indicator element; fig. 5 shows general view of the rim according to the second embodiment of the closure device.
[0013] The examples and graphic materials have the sole purpose to explain the invention and do not limit the embodiments of the device according to the invention.
[0014] The container closure device consists of a cylindrical sleeve 1, an indicator element in the form of a ring 2 and a sealing element 3.
[0015] The cylindrical sleeve 1 is made with an end wall 4 and a side wall 5, an internal thread 6 for interaction with the external thread 7 of the container rim, an annular collar 8 on the inner side surface for fixing the sealing element 3 in axial direction. The annular collar 8 can have either a continuous or a noncontinuous shape. Annular collars 9 and 10, as well as an annular groove 11, can be made on the inner surface of the side wall 5. The annular collars 9 and 10 can have either a continuous or a noncontinuous shape.
[0016] The indicator element is made in the form of a ring 2, consisting of an upper 12 and a lower 13 part, connected to each other by loose connection in the form of bridges 14. When the bridges 14 are destroyed, the lower part 13 of the ring 2 moves axially downward, thus forming an interval H between the upper 12 and the lower 13 part of the ring after reclosing the container, which indicates that the container has been opened. According to one embodiment of the invention, after the destruction of the bridges 14 during the reclosing of the container, the annular collars 9 hold the upper part 12 of the ring 2 in its initial position (the position before opening), and the lower part 13 of the ring 2, while moving in axial direction downwards, can remain inside the cylindrical sleeve 1 due to its retention by annular collars 10 on the inner surface of the side wall 5 of the cylindrical sleeve 1.
[0017] In order to prevent the return of the lower part 13 of the ring 2 to its initial position, a means for blocking the reverse movement of said lower part 13 can be provided, for example, in the form of an annular protrusion 15 on the outer surface of the lower part 13, which is placed, during the opening of the container, in the annular groove 11 on the inner surface of the side wall 5 of the cylindrical sleeve 1. Thus, a clear indication of an opening of the closure device is provided by creating an interval between the upper 12 and lower 13 parts of the ring, visible through the transparent surface of the side wall 5 of the sleeve 1.
[0018] Said annular groove 11 may also serve as an additional means of holding the lower part 13 of the ring 2 in axial direction.
[0019] To facilitate the destruction of the bridges 14, stop protrusions 16 can be made on the lower part 13 of the ring, which, during the opening of the closure device, abut against an annular collar 17 of the neck, thus preventing further axial upward movement of the lower part 13 of the cylindrical sleeve 1.
[0020] In one embodiment of the invention, the lower part 13 of the ring, after the destruction of the bridges 14, comes out from under the cylindrical sleeve 1 and is held by the annular collar 18 of the container rim. In this case, an interval H is also formed between the upper part 12, visible through the transparent surface of the side wall 5 of the cylindrical sleeve 1, and the lower part 13 of the cylindrical sleeve 1, placed on the rim of the container (Fig. 5).
[0021] The cylindrical sleeve 1 is made of materials, preferably polymer, that provide the necessary transparence for the consumer, for example, polycarbonate, polystyrene and other materials with similar properties, by injection molding. These materials provide rigidity to the structure of the device, which is important during storage and transportation, and also they have wide decorative possibilities for applying identification means. In a particular embodiment of the invention, said sleeve 1 can be made of glass. Logos and other means for identifying the closed product can be applied on the outer surface of the cylindrical sleeve.
[0022] The indicator element 2 is made in the form of a separate part, which makes it possible to manufacture it from various materials, preferably polymers, allowing various means of identification to be applied to its surface: decorative designs, inscriptions and other means of individualization using various methods, for example, laser engraving. Preferably, the color of the indicator element 2 is different from the color of the material of the cylindrical sleeve 1.
[0023] The sealing element 3 is made of a polymer material, for example, high-density polyethylene, polypropylene and other materials with similar properties, with an annular collar placed in the pouring opening of the container rim. The sealing element may have a peripheral edge, through which the cylindrical sleeve 1 is snapped on the annular protrusion 8. Additionally, the bottle neck can be sealed using a disk-shaped gasket (not shown in the drawings) made, for example, of foam material and other materials with similar properties, the diameter of which is sufficient to cover the outlet opening of the container neck. Identification means of the closed product can be applied on the outer end surface of the sealing element 3, which are visible through the transparent upper wall 5 of the cylindrical sleeve 1. Moreover, the color of the sealing element may differ from the color of the material of the cylindrical sleeve 1.
[0024] The closure device, which has the construction described above, is used as follows.
[0025] The cylindrical sleeve 1 together with the indicator element 2 and the sealing element 3 are rotated in direction of opening the bottle, wherein the stop protrusions 16 engage with the annular collar 17 of the container rim and in further rotation and upward movement of the cylindrical sleeve 1, the lower part 13 of the ring 2 is separated from the upper part 12 of the ring by destroying the loose connection in the form of bridges 14. After separation, the lower part 13 of the ring 2 is held on the inner surface of the lower part of the cylindrical sleeve 1 by the annular collar 10 and the annular groove 11, in which the outer protrusion 15 is located. In the second embodiment of the invention, the construction of the annular collar 10 allows the lower part 13 to be released from under the inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve 1, and the presence of the annular collar 18 allows the lower part of the ring to be held on the rim of the container.
[0026] The proposed closure device is made as one unit, can be transported separately, and is intended for installation on the rim of a container, preferably a bottle.
