[0001] The present invention relates to a metal frame for a residential building such as a shed, a house as well as a residential building, in particular an earthquake-resistant and cyclonic-resistant building comprising such a metal frame.
[0002] Metal building frames are known for building houses, in particular by a single person, without the aid of lifting elements. Thus, in FR-B-2962460, a metal frame is proposed which comprises: a lower chain, forming a lower belt, intended to be fixed to foundations, a top chain, forming an upper belt, capable of receiving beams of a ceiling or a roof, at least one corner post equipped with a vertical upright extending vertically from an angle of the lower chain to an angle of the top chain to transfer the load from the top chain to the lower chain, and a foot formed by two of the rails of the lower chain fixed without any degree of freedom to a lower end of the vertical upright and extending in different directions in a plane perpendicular to this vertical upright.
