[0001] The invention relates to harnesses for carrying of a personal carriable object such as a personal weapon such as to gun slings.BACKGROUND

[0002] Auxiliary devices attachable to personal weapons such as gunsights attachable to a gun, often include their own personal built-in power source (battery). Many such auxiliary devices require both electrical power from a power supply and often also communication means for communication with one or more external apparatuses such as local and / or remote controllers and / or processors.

CLAIMS1. A harness for self-carrying a personal carriable object, the harness comprising at least: at least one strap, attachable to a personal carriable object, at least one of the at least one strap having at least one cable-guide for guiding therethrough at least one cable for connecting at least one auxiliary device to at least one external apparatus, wherein the respective auxiliary device is connectable to the personal carriable object,; and at least one connector connectable to one end of the at least one cable, for connecting the at least one cable to the external apparatus.

2. The harness of claim 1, wherein one end of the cable has a connecting port, configured to releasably and directly connect to the respective auxiliary device.

3. The harness of claim 1 further comprising at least one additional connector, for releasably connecting to a first end of the at least one cable, wherein the at least one additional connector is configured to releasably connect the at least one cable, via a second end thereof, to a selectable detachable adapter device, such that the at least one cable is releasably and indirectly connectable to the auxiliary device via the detachable adapter device, for enabling selectable and adaptable connecting of the at least one cable to the auxiliary device via a selected detachable adapter device that fits the specific auxiliary device being used.

The harness of claim 3, wherein the at least one cable guided by the cable guide comprises a power cable for supplying electrical power from a power supply source of one or more fixed power-properties, and wherein the detachable adapter device is selectable based on required power-supply properties of the auxiliary device being used.

The harness of claim 4, wherein the detachable adapter device comprises: at least one electrical power transformer and / or adapter configured for electrical transformation of one or more properties of an input electrical power or signal; anda wiring setup, comprising one or more electrical wires and two or more connecting ports, configured to connect to the power cable guided via the harness at one input port hereof and to a fitting auxiliary device at another output port thereof.

The harness of any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the at least one strap comprises two straps: a first strap of an elongated shape and a second strap, wherein a first side of the first strap comprises a fastening element for fastening the first strap to a first area of the respective personal carriable object, and wherein the first strap is connected to the second strap from a second side thereof, opposite to the first side of the first strap, forming thereby a T-shape harness, wherein the second strap is configured to be releasably wrapped around a second part of the respective personal carriable object in a releasable lockable manner to fasten thereto.

7. The harness of claim 6, wherein at least one of the first and second straps of the harness comprises its own respective first or second cable-guide for guiding at least one cable therethrough.

8. The harness of any one of claims 1 to 7, being configured to guide one or more cables through one or more cable-guides for directly or indirectly connecting a first end of each of the one or more cables to a different or the same auxiliary device.

The harness of any one or more of claims 1 to 8, wherein the one or more auxiliary devices comprise one or more of: a gunsight device, a laser sight device, one or more sensors and / or detectors, one or more transmitters, one or more receivers, one or more transceivers, one or more adjustment devices.

10. The harness of any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein the at least one strap is made of a flexible material.

A method for releasably connecting at least one cable to at least one auxiliary device that is connectable to a personal carriable object carried by a person, the method comprising at least:(i) providing a harness comprising at least: at least one strap, attachable to the personal carriable object using at least one auxiliary device connected thereto, at least one of the at least one strap having at least one cable-guide; and at least one connector, each connector being configured and positioned over a corresponding strap of the at least one strap, such as to connect to one end of a corresponding cable of the at least one cable, guided through the at least one cable-guide;(ii) directly or indirectly connecting another end of the corresponding cable to a corresponding auxiliary device; and(iii) connecting an external apparatus to the corresponding connector for connecting the external apparatus to the corresponding auxiliary device via the corresponding cable guided through the at least one cable-guide.

22. The method of claim 21, wherein the external apparatus is one of: a power supply source; an adaptor of a power supply source; an adaptor to one or more devices; a processor; a tensimeter; a receiver; a memory unit; a communication module or device.

23. The method of any one of claims 21 to 22, wherein each cable is one of: a power cable for supplying electrical power to the respective auxiliary device; a communication cable; at least one optical fiber.

The method of any one of claims 21 to 23, wherein the at least one strap comprises two straps: a first strap of an elongated shape and a second strap, wherein a first side of the first strap comprises a fastening element for fastening the first strap to a first area of the respective personal carriable object, and wherein the first strap is connected to the second strap from a second side thereof, opposite to the first side of the first strap, forming thereby a T-shape harness, wherein the second strap is configured to be releasably wrapped around a second part of the respective personal carriable object in a releasable lockable manner to fasten thereto.

25. The method of claim 24, wherein at least one of the first and second straps of the harness comprises its own respective first or second cable-guide for guiding at least one cable therethrough.

26. The method of any one or more of claims 21 to 25, wherein each of the at least one cable-guide of each strap forms an inner sleeve through which the at least one cable is guided.
