[0003] The invention relates to a marking component for a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a marking arrangement comprising such a marking component. The marking component is formed, for example, by a panel, a housing part, a badge, a decorative strip, or a similar component used in a vehicle and has an at least partially illuminable marking surface, a receiving engraving area incorporated into the marking surface by engraving or milling, and a marking carrier received in the receiving engraving area.

Claims
Patent claims 1. Marking component (4) with a marking surface (6), a receiving engraving area (8) incorporated into the marking surface (6) and a marking carrier (10) received in the receiving engraving area (8), characterized in that a free illumination engraving area (22) is incorporated into a component rear side (12) facing away from the marking surface (6).
2. Marking component according to claim 1, characterized in that the illumination engraving area (22) is arranged opposite the receiving engraving area (8) and both areas delimit a translucent intermediate area (32).
3. Marking component according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the intermediate region (32) is formed by a material of the marking component (4) which is at least partially translucent.
4. Marking component according to claim 3, characterized in that the intermediate region (32) has at least one passage opening (34) which connects the illumination engraving region (22) to the receiving engraving region (8).
5. Marking component according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the light-permeable intermediate region (32) is delimited on the side of the receiving engraving region (8) by an engraving base (26) to which the marking carrier (10) is glued.
6. Marking component according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a filling material (30) for stabilizing the marking carrier (10) is accommodated in the receiving engraving area (8).
7. Marking component according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the illumination engraving area (22) and the receiving engraving area (8) are produced by a rotating milling tool.
8. Marking arrangement with a marking component according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the component rear side (12) is connected to a mounting element (14) which has a material opening (24) adjacent to the illumination engraving area (22).
9. Marking arrangement according to claim 7, characterized in that the mounting element (14) is formed by an adhesive film.
10. Marking arrangement according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the mounting element (14) is attached to a light source (16).
11. Marking arrangement according to claim 9, characterized in that the light source (16) is formed by a light guide plate (18) or a self-luminous display (36).
12. Marking arrangement according to one of claims 8 to 11, characterized in that the marking surface (6) is arranged in an interior or exterior area of a vehicle (38).
