Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a rotor (1, 2, 3), in particular a squirrel-cage or cage rotor, for an electric machine, comprising the method steps of: inserting slot bars (30, 31), in particular produced by means of an additive method, machining, extrusion or die casting, into slots (60, 61) of a laminated core (50, 51), said slots in particular extending in an axial direction (A), such that the slot bars (30, 31) have a protrusion (U) beyond the laminate stack (50, 51) at at least one of their end faces (9, 10), in particular at the height of at least one insert (4), or terminate flush with the laminate stack (50, 51), additively applying, in particularly printing, at least one ring (20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25), preferably a short-circuit ring, onto the at least one of the end faces of the slot bars (30, 31), in particular using an additive printing method. The invention also relates to a rotor and an electric machine.
