Description
[0001] Conventional paint rollers can be attached to a pole with a handle, thus forming a painting tool. When a different color is used or the roller needs replacing, it is detached from the pole and discarded. A paint roller consists of a tube section onto which a pad is attached. The pad can be made of materials such as nap, fur, or foam. With a conventional paint roller, the pad is permanently attached to the tube section. Therefore, after use, the paint roller must be disposed of with regular household waste.
[0002] In terms of resource conservation, it is considered a disadvantage that the entire paint roller has to be disposed of as residual waste after use.
[0003] The invention is therefore based on the objective of providing a paint roller that enables more environmentally friendly use.

Claims
1. Paint roller (1, 22), with a replaceable cover designed as a tube, which is made of a textile material and is provided with a covering at least in sections, comprising: - a tube section (6, 32), - two clamping caps (8, 27), each of which can be detachably connected to the tube section (6, 32) at an axial end of the tube section (6, 32), wherein the end sections (4, 5) of the tube can be clamped between the tube section (6, 32) and the clamping caps (8, 27).
2. Paint roller according to claim 1, wherein the tube section (6) has end pieces (7) inserted on both sides which can be detachably connected to the clamping caps (8, 27).
3. Paint roller according to claim 1 or 2, wherein either the tube section or the inserted end piece and the clamping cap comprise a bayonet fitting.

Paint roller according to claim 1 or 2, wherein either the tube section (6, 32) or the end piece (7) has an internal thread (12, 31) and the clamping cap (8, 27) has a corresponding external thread (17), or that either the tube section or the end piece has an external thread and the clamping cap has a corresponding internal thread.
