Abstract
Description
[0001] This application claims the priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 2023114095190, titled "NEW TOBACCO PRODUCT HAVING NICOTINE PUFF-BY-PUFF RELEASE UNIFORMITY, AND PREPARATION METHOD FOR NICOTINE REGULATOR, THICK SLURRY AND THIN SHEET THEREOF", filed on October 27, 2023 with the China National Intellectual Property Administration, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.FIELD
[0002] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of cigarettes, in particular to the field of the preparation of a new tobacco and sheets thereof.BACKGROUND
[0003] Tobacco sheets were adopted as a reprocessing technology in the 1960s to address the reuse of waste materials during tobacco processing. However, as people pay more and more attention to cigarette health, tobacco sheets begin to play an important role. Due to their more easily adjustable chemical composition and combustion properties compared to traditional tobacco leaves, tobacco sheets have been endowed with the function of reducing tar and harm, and they are used as a functional carrier or a main material to improve the combustion state of cigarettes and adjust the chemical composition of smoke. Now, with the rise of new tobacco products such as heated cigarettes, tobacco sheets have become the main smoking materials of heated cigarettes, and their functional role has been further expanded. The methods of preparing tobacco sheets mainly include thick paste method, roll pressing method, papermaking method and improved papermaking method (dry method). At present, 80% of the heated cigarettes use thick-paste-method sheets or roll-pressing-method sheets as smoking materials. When producing sheets by the above-mentioned two methods, cigarette powder and an adhesive must be mixed to make thick paste before they can be made into sheets. However, there are some quality problems such as insufficient smoke, dull aroma, poor nicotine puff-by-puff release uniformity in the sheets produced by the traditional thick-paste-method sheet process. The above-mentioned quality problems are particularly prominent when above-mentioned traditional processes are used to manufacture heated cigarettes.
[0004] Aiming at the problem of nicotine release, some solutions have been reported in the prior art. The China patent document with publication No. CN113115973A discloses a method for preparing reconstituted tobacco leaf sheet base for heating cigarettes, which comprises the following steps: preparing a reconstituted tobacco leaf pulp by papermaking method; adding a polyethylene oxide solution with a mass percentage of 0.01% to 0.15% and a guar gum solution with a mass percentage of 0.01% to 0.15% into the reconstituted tobacco leaf pulp firstly; then adding at least one of cactus juice and carambola juice into the reconstituted tobacco leaf pulp; and making the reconstituted tobacco leaf pulp into reconstituted tobacco leaf sheet base for heated cigarettes. The process discloses a papermaking-method sheet process, which can improve the loading and release of nicotine.
[0005] In summary, for the smoking mode of new tobacco products, there are few related technical reports on the controlled release of nicotine in tobacco tissues in the prior art.SUMMARY
[0006] For the problem that it is difficult to control the release of nicotine in the tobacco tissue of thick-paste-method sheets of the existing new tobacco products (such as heated cigarettes) during the smoking process of heated cigarettes, a nicotine regulator to improve the nicotine puff-by-puff release uniformity of the smoke of heated cigarettes is provided by the present disclosure, aiming at improving the controllable release of nicotine in the tobacco tissue in the smoking stage of the new tobacco.
[0007] The second object of that present disclosure is to provide thick paste, sheets and new tobacco products comprising the nicotine regulator and preparation methods thereof, aiming at improving the controllable and uniform release of nicotine in the new tobacco products.
[0008] The new tobaccos are smoked based on heating mode, and the temperature in the smoking stage is mostly between 150°C and 300°C. Under this smoking mechanism, the controllable release of nicotine in tobacco tissues is difficult and the release uniformity is not ideal. The research shows that the preferred compound plant gum is helpful to further regulate the release behavior of nicotine in combination with other components, and can further improve the puff-by-puff release uniformity of nicotine in tobacco tissues in the smoking stage of new tobacco.
[0020] In the present disclosure, the defibrated fiber can be an existing commercial product, or can be obtained based on the defibrated means known in the industry. For example, the defibrated fiber is a fiber obtained by defibrating wood pulp fiber; preferably, the adhesive further comprises at least one solvent of water and an organic solvent; preferably, the organic solvent is a C1-C4 alcohol.
