[0023] The invention relates to a golf club carrier 1, i.e. a device for carrying and holding golf clubs 6. Each golf club 6 comprises a shaft 61, a grip end 62 on one end of the shaft 61, and a club end 63 on the opposite end of the shaft 61. The golf club carrier 1 comprises a body 10. The body 10 comprises a top portion 11 and a bottom portion 13 supporting the top portion 11. The top portion 11 comprises a first side 120, a second side 121 opposite the first side 120, and two opposite lateral sides 122. The bottom portion 13 is arranged to support the golf club carrier 1 on the ground.

[0024] The top portion 11 comprises an upright part 114. In this context, term upright means essentially upright, i.e. it is deviated at most 20 degrees, such as 0 to 20 degrees, from the vertical direction.

[0025] According to some embodiments, the top portion 11 comprises an inclined part 115. The inclined part 115 is connected to the upright part 114. According to some embodiments, the inclined part 115 has a curved shape. In this context, term inclined means that the part is deviated at least 30 degrees, such as 30 to 90 degrees, from the absolute direction. If the deviation of the inclined part from the vertical direction is 70 to 90 degrees, the inclined part could also be called a horizontal part.

[0026] Holders and slots

[0027] The top portion 11 comprises a plurality of holders 113. Each holder 113 is arranged to hold a golf club 6 from a shaft 61 of the golf club 6. Each holder 113 is arranged to hold the golf club 6 external to the body 10. In other words, the golf clubs 6 are held outside of the body 10 so that they are visible on the outside of the body 10. The plurality of holders 113 is distributed on the two opposite lateral sides 122 of the top portion 11. In other words, the holders 113 are arranged to hold the golf clubs 6 in such a way that the top portion is arranged between the golf clubs 6.

[0028] Preferably, the plurality of holders 113 is distributed on two imaginary parallel vertical surfaces, deviating at most 3 cm therefrom. In other words, the holders 113 may be arranged, for example, in a zig-zag formation or in a curved formation, as long as the deviation of an individual holder 113 is at most 3 cm. In this context, term parallel means that the angle between the imaginary vertical surfaces is at most 10 degrees.

[0029] For example, there is seven holders 113 on each side of the top portion 11.

[0030] According to some embodiments, the plurality of holders 113 is arranged in the inclined part 115. According to some other embodiments, the top portion 11 comprises a separate holder part 119 comprising the plurality of holders 113. The separate holder part 119 is illustrated in Figure 5.

[0033] According to still some other embodiments, the plurality of holders 113 is formed by one or more magnetic holders arranged to hold the shaft 61 of the golf club 6 by a magnetic force. For example, the magnetic holders are formed by grooves arranged in the top portion 11. The grooves are arranged to receive the shaft 61. A magnet is arranged in each groove for retaining the shaft 61 in the groove. Magnetic holders formed by grooves are illustrated in Figure 5. Magnetic holders allow easy insertion of the golf club 6 in the holder 113 and reduce scratching of the surface of the shaft 61. Magnetic holders require that the shaft 61 comprises magnetic material.

[0034] The bottom portion 13 comprises a plurality of slots 133. Each slot 133 corresponds to a holder 113. Each slot 133 is arranged to support the golf club 6 held by the corresponding holder 113 from a grip end 62 of the golf club 6. In other words, the golf clubs 6 are held in the golf club carrier in such a way that the grip end of the golf club points downwards, and the club end points upwards. The plurality of slots 133 is distributed in two rows. In this context, term row also covers a situation in which some slots 23 are deviated from a straight line by at most 3 cm, measured from the centre of the slot. In other words, the row also means a zig-zagged row or a curved row. Preferably, the slots 133 are arranged on opposite lateral sides of the bottom portion 13. The number of slots 133 on each row matches the number of holders 113 arranged on each side of the top portion 11.

[0035] A space 50 is defined between the golf clubs 6 held by the plurality of holders 113 and supported by the plurality of slots 133, the top portion 11, and the bottom portion 13.
