Proposed is a combustion device for stabilizing combustion for hybrid rocket engines having an injection element (1) for an oxidizer, the combustion device comprising a precombustion chamber (4) and a main combustion chamber (3), wherein an impact element (2) for the oxidizer is arranged between the precombustion chamber (4) and the main combustion chamber (3). Also proposed is a combustion method.
