Abstract

The invention relates to a grinding tool for producing a fibre material from plants with a high proportion of silicate for the production of paper and card, said grinding tool having at least one stator disc (10) with elevations (12) and notches provided therein in the form of first and second slits (14, 16), which together form cutting edges for comminuting the plants, wherein the upper side of the elevations (12) has a hard material layer (20). The invention also relates to a method for producing a fibre material from plants with a high proportion of silicate for the production of paper and card by means of such a grinding tool.
