Title of the invention: Canopy-type installation for an exterior building door Technical field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to the general technical field of building.
[0002] It relates more particularly to a canopy-type installation for an exterior building door. State of the art
[0003] It is common to equip an exterior door of a building with a protective structure called a "canopy", suitable for protecting people in front of the door from bad weather (in particular rain), and also for improving the aesthetics of the facade of the building.
[0004] Such installations comprise an upper protective structure, forming a roof, which extends in a cantilever, fixed above the building bay equipped with the entrance door.
[0005] Independently it is also known to use a roller shutter structure to allow the closing of the building bay in front of the entrance door.
[0006] The roller shutter then comprises a roller shutter box which integrates a roller shutter apron guided by side guides.
[0007] When there is sufficient space, the roller shutter box can be housed under the lintel of the bay, with the side slides fixed to the frames of the joinery frame.
[0008] This roller shutter box can also be fixed protruding from the facade of the masonry.
[0009] However, such roller shutter structures often alter the aesthetics of the building equipped with them. Presentation of the invention
[0010] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawback of the state of the art, the present invention proposes a canopy-type installation arranged to equip a building bay provided with an exterior building door,
[0011] which canopy-type installation comprises an upper protective structure, forming a roof, designed to be fixed in a cantilevered position above said building bay, on a vertical face of said building,

[0021] - the lower closing panel is at least partly made of material translucent;
[0022] - the roller shutter axle is equipped with an electric motor for its operation in rotation for the purpose of unrolling or rolling up the roller shutter apron;
[0023] - the installation comprises at least one photovoltaic panel which is arranged on a external face of the upper protective structure in the form of a box, and which is adapted to provide the electrical power supply to the lighting means and / or the electric motorization of the roller shutter shaft;
[0024] - the side roller shutter slides are fixed on vertical surfaces bordering the building bay which are located in the same vertical plane as the vertical upper surface on which the upper box-shaped protective structure is fixed.
[0025] Of course, the various features, variants and embodiments of the invention can be combined with each other in various combinations. to the extent that they are not incompatible or mutually exclusive. Detailed description of the invention
[0026] Furthermore, various other characteristics of the invention emerge from the appended description given with reference to the drawings which illustrate non-limiting forms of embodiment of the invention and where:
[0027] [Fig-1] is a schematic view in vertical section of an installation of the type canopy in accordance with the invention;
[0028] [Fig.2] is a view of the same installation, according to section plane 2-2 of [Fig. 1].
[0029] As illustrated in the attached figures, the canopy type installation 1 equips a building bay B which is arranged in a masonry structure M and which is provided with an exterior building door P.
[0030] The bay of building B is delimited by two vertical and parallel lateral faces B1, a horizontal upper face B2, and a horizontal lower face B3.
[0031] The masonry structure M separates an exterior space E and an interior space I of the equipped building.
[0032] On the side of the exterior space E, the masonry structure M comprises a vertical face S.
[0033] The canopy type installation 1 comprises an upper protective structure 2 which is fixed in a cantilevered manner on the exterior side E of the building on the exterior vertical face S of the masonry structure M (above the horizontal upper face B2 of the building bay B).
[0034] More precisely, the upper protective structure 2 is fixed above the building bay B, on an upper surface SI of the vertical face S.
[0035] The upper protective structure 2 forms a roof suitable for protecting people in position in front of the exterior door of building P from bad weather, and in particular from rain.
[0036] This upper protective structure 2 is in the form of a box delimiting an internal volume 3 within which is housed a roller shutter structure 4 comprising a roller shutter box 41 which integrates a roller shutter axle 42 on which a roller shutter apron 43 is wound.
[0037] The roller shutter apron 43 is adapted to allow the closing of the building bay B opposite the exterior door of building P.
[0038] Outside the roller shutter box 41, the roller shutter apron 43 is guided by two lateral roller shutter guides 5.
[0039] The roller shutter box 41 can be made by assembling plastic panels (for example polyvinyl chloride (PVC)). Here it comprises a lower roller shutter box wall 411, a front shutter box wall 412 rolling, a rear wall 413 of rolling shutter box, a top wall 414 of rolling shutter box, and two side walls of rolling shutter box (not shown in the figures).
[0040] The two side walls of the roller shutter box can serve as a support element for the roller shutter axle 42 on which the roller shutter apron 43 is wound.
[0041] The lower wall 411 of the roller shutter box advantageously consists of a removable hatch allowing access to the interior of the roller shutter box 41, for repair or maintenance operations on the roller shutter structure 4.
[0042] The upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box can be produced by assembling panels made of any material (metal sheet (for example aluminum), plastic, wood, etc.). It comprises an upper box wall 21, side box walls 22, and a lower box wall 23.
[0043] The box side walls 22 define the thickness of the box-shaped upper protective structure 2.
[0044] The assembly here constitutes a box 2 of generally parallelepiped shape, but other shapes are also possible.
[0045] The upper box wall 21 is here flat and it extends perpendicular to the vertical face S of the masonry structure M. But here again this upper box wall 21 can have another shape (for example curved), or be flat and inclined relative to a plane perpendicular to the vertical surface S.
[0046] The box side walls 22 comprise a box front wall 221 and two identical box side walls 222.
[0047] The lower box wall 23 is here flat and it extends perpendicular to the vertical face S of the masonry structure M.
[0048] The upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box can be fixed by any suitable means above the building bay B, on the upper surface SI of the vertical face S of the masonry structure M.
[0049] For example, it is possible to use brackets or fixing plates (not shown in the figures), connecting the upper box wall 21 and / or the side box walls 222 to the masonry structure M. For aesthetic reasons, these fixing means are preferably arranged on the inside, in the internal volume 3 of the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box.
[0050] For its part, the roller shutter box 41, which integrates the roller shutter axle 42 and the roller shutter apron 43, is also fixed by any suitable means above the building bay B, on the upper surface SI of the vertical face S.
[0051] Here again, brackets or fixing plates can be used (not shown in the figures).
[0052] At the exit of the roller shutter box 41, the two side roller shutter slides 5 are fixed vertically on the vertical face S of the masonry structure M.
[0053] More precisely, the two lateral roller shutter slides 5 are fixed on the sides of the building bay B, on lateral surfaces S2 of the vertical face S. These lateral surfaces S2 which receive the lateral roller shutter slides 5 are located in the same vertical plane as the vertical upper surface SI on which the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box is fixed.
[0054] In the upper part, the roller shutter slides 5 comprise tulip systems 51, added, to optimize the guidance of the roller shutter apron 43.
[0055] Conventionally, the roller shutter apron 43 may consist of an assembly of plastic or aluminum slats, hinged together.
[0056] The roller shutter apron 43 extends over a width slightly greater than the width of the building bay B.
[0057] As can be seen in [Fig.2], the entrance of the roller shutter slides 5 is located in the plane of the vertical side faces B1 of the building bay B.
[0058] The roller shutter axle 42 is equipped with rotational maneuvering means to ensure the rolling and unrolling of the roller shutter apron.
[0059] These maneuvering means may consist of:
[0060] - in manual operating means, positioned on the side of the interior space I and / or on the side of the exterior space E of the masonry structure M,
[0061] - in an electric motor housed in the roller shutter axis 42 and controlled (a) by one or more fixed switches located on the side of the interior space I and / or on the side of the exterior space E of the masonry structure M, or (b) by remote control,
[0062] - in an electric motor housed in the roller shutter axis 42, completed by manual operating means.
[0063] As an alternative embodiment, the roller shutter structure 4 may be without a roller shutter box 41, while still retaining a lower roller shutter box wall 411.
[0064] In such a case, the roller shutter axis 42 can be carried by suitable side plates, fixed on the vertical face S of the masonry structure M or on the internal faces of the side walls of the box 222.
[0065] This roller shutter axis 42 can also be directly carried by the internal faces of the side walls of the box 222.
[0066] The roller shutter structure 4 is preferably fully integrated into the thickness of the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box. But in an alternative embodiment this integration may be simply partial.
[0067] The lower wall of the box 23 is here formed by the lower wall 411 of the roller shutter box (located on the side of the masonry structure M), and by a panel lower closing 231 (located on the side of the front wall of box 221).
[0068] The lower wall 411 of the roller shutter box and the lower closing panel 231 extend in the same plane.
[0069] In an alternative embodiment, the removable hatch allowing access to the roller shutter structure 4, for repair or maintenance operations, can be provided on the upper wall of the box 21.
[0070] According to one embodiment, the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box comprises lighting means 6 arranged in its internal volume 3.
[0071] In this case, the lower closing panel 231 is at least partly made of translucent material, to allow illumination of the area located under the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box. For example, the lower closing panel 231 may be entirely made of translucent material.
[0072] The lighting means 6 may for example consist of LED bulbs fixed to the internal faces of the upper box wall 21 and / or the side box walls 22.
[0073] These lighting means 6 can be controlled by one or more fixed switches, by remote control or by a presence detector.
[0074] The electricity for the power supply of the lighting means 6 and / or the electric motorization of the roller shutter shaft 42 may come from the network or from at least one photovoltaic panel 7 arranged on an external face of the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box.
[0075] The photovoltaic panel(s) 7 may be arranged on top of the upper box wall 21, or on the facade, on the external face of the front box wall 221.
[0076] In the absence of the lighting means 6, the lower closing panel 231 is preferably provided to be opaque to mask the interior of the upper protective structure 2 in the form of a box.
[0077] This results in a canopy-type installation with an original aesthetic and which allows the roller shutter structure to be partially or totally hidden.
