Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Kit for preparing a cosmetic product and associated method
[0001] The present invention relates to a set for preparing a cosmetic product comprising:
[0002] - a dispensing device comprising at least two reservoirs and at least one dispensing nozzle, each of the reservoirs comprising a distinct cosmetic formulation and being capable of being connected to the dispensing nozzle, and
[0003] - a pocket comprising a filling opening, a first and a second compartments and at least one passageway fluidly connecting the first compartment with the second compartment, the passageway comprising at least one baffle.
[0004] A cosmetic product is in particular a product as defined in Regulation 20 EC No 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 30 November 2009, relating to cosmetic products.
[0005] Given the wide variety of cosmetic products on the market, there is a growing desire on the part of consumers to use personalized cosmetic products.
[0006] For this purpose, it is known to distribute in a container, using a dispensing device, cosmetic formulations according to a recipe defined according to consumer parameters, such as for example their hair color, the condition and degree of damage to their hair, their skin type, or their skin condition defined for example by the presence of acne, redness and / or wrinkles.
[0007] The personalized cosmetic product thus obtained is intended to be applied directly to the consumer or closed to be taken away by the consumer in the case where the container is directly a packaging pot and is presented for example in the form of a cream.
[0008] In order for the cosmetic product to be homogeneous, the cosmetic formulations forming the ingredients of the final composition must be mixed together.
[0009] Generally, this mixing step is carried out in the container, for example using a spoon, before application to the consumer.
[0010] Alternatively, this mixing step is carried out using a centrifuge.
[0011] However, such mixing is not entirely satisfactory, as it requires additional cleaning steps, which may further result in a loss of a quantity of product.
[0012] It is also known to carry out this mixing step with specific mixing equipment, which is expensive, bulky and requires a lot of maintenance.
[0013] An aim of the invention is to propose a cosmetic preparation assembly capable of mixing cosmetic formulations in a simple, economical and efficient manner.
[0014] To this end, the invention relates to an assembly of the aforementioned type, characterized in that the filling opening of the pocket is arranged opposite the dispensing nozzle, the dispensing device being arranged to dispense each of the cosmetic formulations directly into the pocket via the dispensing nozzle, the pocket being configured to receive a pressure force from outside the pocket, the pressure force being capable of generating a flow in the baffle of the dispensed cosmetic formulations in a first direction and then in a second opposite direction, so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product, the first direction going from one of the first compartment and the second compartment to the other of the first compartment and the second compartment.
[0015] Thanks to the flow of the cosmetic formulations in the baffle, they are mixed directly inside the pocket. Such mixing is simple to implement, because it does not require an additional cleaning step. It is also economical, because it does not require the use of complex mixing apparatus. In addition, carrying out the mixing directly in the pocket makes it possible to limit the number of intermediate containers used, and therefore the waste generated.
[0016] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the dispensing device and / or the bag is provided with a mixing element capable of exerting the pressure force from outside the bag.
[0017] This embodiment is advantageous in that it does not require additional devices to carry out the mixing, which could be expensive and impractical to use.
[0018] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the mixing element comprises at least one support element movable alternately between a first position, in which the support element is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment and a second position, in which the support element is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment.
[0019] This embodiment is advantageous in that the mixture is implemented directly by the dispensing device without operator intervention.
[0020] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the pocket comprises a support bar capable of being attached to the pocket and movable alternately on the pocket between a first position, in which the support bar is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment and a second position, wherein the support bar is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment.
[0021] Such a support bar is simple to use and inexpensive. In addition, the operator can mix the cosmetic formulations several times, for example in the case where all the product contained in the pocket has not been dispensed at once.
[0022] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the filling opening opens into the first compartment, the dispensing device being arranged to dispense the cosmetic formulations into the first compartment of the pouch.
[0023] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the dispensing device comprises a pocket-forming unit.
[0024] In particular, the pocket forming unit comprises a distribution system of two superimposed surfaces and a weld imprint configured to define the first and second compartments, the baffle and the filling opening on two superimposed surfaces.
[0025] Such a pouch forming unit allows the pouch to be formed directly in the dispensing device. The operator therefore does not have to connect the pouch to the dispensing device.
[0026] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the pouch comprises a tip secured to the pouch and defining an internal passage capable of connecting the filling opening of the pouch to the dispensing nozzle of the dispensing device, the tip being capable of dispensing the homogeneous cosmetic product through the internal passage.
[0027] In particular, the tip comprises a plug intended to removably close the internal passage.
[0028] Such a pouch with a tip has the advantage of being reusable. In addition, thanks to the removable cap, the pouch can be closed after a first dispensing of the cosmetic product, in order to protect the cosmetic product remaining in the pouch from external contamination.
[0029] In a particular embodiment of the invention, an interior volume of the pocket comprising the first compartment, the second compartment and the baffle opens exclusively through the filling opening, an additional opening being suitable for being provided on the pocket.
[0030] Such an additional opening of the pocket allows distribution of the product directly to the consumer.
[0031] Advantageously, the passageway comprising the baffle allows fluid to pass between the first compartment and the second compartment at rest and permanently.
[0032] In particular, the passageway comprising the chicane is clear at rest.
[0033] The invention also relates to a process for preparing a cosmetic product comprising: - a step of providing an assembly as described previously,
[0034] - a step of filling the first compartment by dispensing each of the cosmetic formulations through the dispensing nozzle arranged opposite the filling opening,
[0035] - a mixing step, in which a pressure force is exerted from the outside of the pocket so as to generate at least one flow in the baffle of the cosmetic formulations distributed alternately in the first direction then in the second opposite direction, so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product.
[0036] The process for preparing a cosmetic product according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken in isolation or in any technically possible combination: - after filling the first compartment with cosmetic formulations, the second compartment remains empty before mixing; and - the method comprises closing the filling opening after filling the first compartment with the cosmetic formulations.
[0037] The invention will be better understood on reading the following description, given solely by way of example, and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
[0038] - [Fig.l] [Fig.l] is a schematic view of an assembly according to a first mode of realization of the invention;
[0039] - [Fig.2] [Fig.2] is a schematic view of the steps of the method implemented by the assembly illustrated in [Fig.l];
[0040] - [Fig.3] [Fig.3] is a schematic view of a pocket according to a second mode of realization of the invention; and
[0041] - [Fig.4] [Fig.4] is a schematic view of a pocket according to a third mode of realization of the invention.
[0042] With reference to Figures 1 and 2, a set 10 for preparing a cosmetic product according to a first embodiment of the invention is described.
[0043] The assembly 10 comprises a pocket 12 and a dispensing device 14.
[0044] The cosmetic product is, for example, a cosmetic care or coloring product. and / or makeup of a body surface or hair.
[0045] The cosmetic product is advantageously in liquid or creamy form, such as for example a hair coloring cream.
[0046] The cosmetic product is for example made up of a mixture of different cosmetic formulations, in particular according to a predefined recipe.
[0047] More specifically, the cosmetic product consists, for example, of a cosmetic base, for example in the form of a cream, mixed with one or more active cosmetic products, such as colorants, pigments, care active ingredients, for example.
[0048] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the pocket 12 comprises a filling opening 16, a first compartment 18, a second compartment 20 and at least one passageway 21 fluidly connecting the first compartment 18 with the second compartment 20, the passageway 21 comprising at least one baffle 22.
[0049] The pocket 12 defines an interior volume 24.
[0050] The pocket 12 is for example made up of two sheets assembled together along a peripheral seal and defining the interior volume 24 of the pocket 12 in which the first 18 and second 20 compartments and the passageway 21 are arranged.
[0051] The interior volume 24 preferably opens exclusively through the filling opening 16.
[0052] The filling opening 16 is suitable for connecting the interior volume 24 with the exterior of the pocket 12.
[0053] The filling opening 16 is advantageously configured to allow dispensing of cosmetic formulations into the interior volume 24.
[0054] Preferably, the filling opening 16 opens into the first compartment 18.
[0055] Each of the first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20 is suitable for housing cosmetic formulations.
[0056] The first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20 have, for example, a volume of between 5 mL and 20 mL.
[0057] The passageway 21, and in particular the baffle 22, preferably connects the first compartment 18 with the second compartment 20.
[0058] The passageway 21 comprising the chicane 22 is clear at rest.
[0059] In other words, the passageway 21 comprising the chicane 22 is not blocked. and fluidly connects the two compartments 18, 20 permanently, the baffle 22 generating resistance to the passage of the fluid and / or a variation in the passage section.
[0060] The baffle 22 preferably has a small cross-section, for example between 2 mm and 5 mm.
[0061] In particular, as can be seen in [Fig.l], the baffle 22 has a cross-section smaller than that of the compartments 18, 20. The interior volume 24 thus has an hourglass shape due to the reduction in section at the level of the baffle 22.
[0062] The baffle 22 is advantageously configured to allow a flow of cosmetic formulations between the two compartments 18, 20.
[0063] The pocket 12 is configured to receive a pressure force from outside the pocket 12.
[0064] For this purpose, the pocket 12 is advantageously made of a flexible material, for example from plastic sheets.
[0065] The pressure force is for example suitable for generating a flow in the baffle 22 of the cosmetic formulations in a first direction SI then in a second opposite direction S2, so as to obtain a homogeneous cosmetic product.
[0066] As can be seen in [Fig.2] (c), the first direction SI goes for example from the first compartment 18 to the second compartment 20 and the second direction S2 from the second compartment 20 to the first compartment 18.
[0067] Such a flow of cosmetic formulations between the two compartments 18, 20 passing through the baffle 22 of small cross-section allows mixing of the cosmetic formulations with each other to obtain the final homogeneous cosmetic product.
[0068] The pocket 12 is advantageously the final container of the cosmetic product intended to be used by a consumer.
[0069] For this purpose, an additional opening can be provided on the pocket 12 for dispensing the cosmetic product.
[0070] For example, the pocket 12 comprises a pre-defined pre-cut, for example in the form of a perforated line.
[0071] The pocket 12 is advantageously made of a transparent or translucent material, configured to allow observation of the interior volume 24 from outside the pocket 12.
[0072] The dispensing device 14 is for example integrated into a dispensing machine present in particular at a professional or in a commercial point of sale.
[0073] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the dispensing device 14 comprises a dispensing nozzle 26 and at least two reservoirs 28 each comprising a distinct cosmetic formulation.
[0074] Each of the reservoirs 28 is for example a cartridge or a pocket fixed on the distribution device 14.
[0075] Preferably, at least one of the reservoirs 28 comprises a cosmetic formulation which is a cosmetic base, for example in the form of a cream, and at least one other of the reservoirs 28 comprises an active cosmetic product, such as a colorant, pigments, or a care active ingredient for example.
[0076] The dispensing nozzle 26 is connected to each of the reservoirs 28, for example by a dispensing conduit 30 as illustrated in [Fig.l].
[0077] Furthermore, in a dispensing configuration, the dispensing nozzle 26 is arranged opposite the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, and advantageously connected to the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12.
[0078] The dispensing device 14 is thus arranged to dispense each of the cosmetic formulations via the dispensing nozzle 26 directly into the pocket 12, and more precisely into the first compartment 18 of the pocket 12. During dispensing, the cosmetic formulations advantageously flow directly from the dispensing nozzle 26 to the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, without an intermediate conduit.
[0079] For this purpose, the dispensing device 14 advantageously further comprises a dispensing unit 32, for example consisting of syringes capable of passing a quantity of cosmetic formulation from each of the reservoirs 28 to the dispensing nozzle 26.
[0080] Preferably, the dispensing device 14 also comprises a control unit 34 configured, in particular from parameters entered by the consumer, to determine a personalized cosmetic product recipe. The parameters are for example chosen from the condition and color of the hair, the thickness of the hair, the condition and type of skin.
[0081] The recipe defines, for example, the quantity of each of the cosmetic formulations present in the reservoirs 28 to be distributed.
[0082] More particularly, in the dispensing configuration, the dispensing device 14 can dispense through the dispensing nozzle 26 into the first compartment 18 of the pocket 12 several cosmetic formulations, for example a base and at least one active cosmetic product according to quantities defined in the personalized recipe.
[0083] Furthermore, the dispensing device 14 advantageously comprises a closing element 35 for the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12.
[0084] The closing element 35 is for example a welding imprint capable of welding or gluing the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12 after the distribution of the cosmetic formulations by the distribution nozzle 26.
[0085] Advantageously, the dispensing device 14 is further provided with a mixing element 36 capable of exerting a pressure force from outside the pocket 12.
[0086] More particularly, the mixing element 36 comprises at least one support element 38, and preferably a control element 40 of the support element 38.
[0087] As illustrated in [Fig.2], in particular in the case where the dispensing device 14 is integrated into a dispensing machine, the support element 38 is for example a pair of rollers surrounding the pocket 12 and capable of exerting a pressure force on the pocket 12.
[0088] Advantageously, the support element 38 is movable alternately between a first position, in which the support element 38 is configured to exert the pressure force on the first compartment 18 and a second position, in which the support element 38 is configured to exert the pressure force on the second compartment 20.
[0089] More precisely, when the support element 38 passes from the first position to the second position, for example by the control element 40, the pressure force exerted on the pocket 12 is capable of generating a flow in the baffle 22 of the cosmetic formulations distributed in the first direction SI going from the first compartment 18 to the second compartment 20.
[0090] On the contrary, when the support element 38 passes from the second position to the first position, for example via the control element 40, the pressure force exerted on the pocket 12 is capable of generating a flow in the baffle 22 of the cosmetic formulations distributed in the second direction S2 going from the second compartment 20 to the first compartment 18.
[0091] Preferably, the support element 38 is movable in translation on the first compartment 18 between the baffle 22 and the end of the first compartment 18 opposite the baffle 22. Similarly, the support element 38 is preferably movable in translation on the second compartment 20 between the baffle 22 and the end of the second compartment 20 opposite the baffle 22.
[0092] Optionally, the dispensing device 14 comprises a pocket-forming unit 42.
[0093] In particular, as illustrated in [Fig.2] (a), the forming unit 42 comprises for example a distribution system of two superimposed surfaces 44 and a welding imprint 46.
[0094] The distribution system 44 is, more particularly, constituted by a sheet storage roller 48 and a driving roller 50 capable of driving the unwinding of the storage roller 48, and more specifically the distribution of two superimposed surfaces 52, for example two plastic sheets.
[0095] The weld imprint 46 is configured to define the first 18 and second 20 compartments, the baffle 22 and the filling opening 16 on the two superimposed surfaces 52 unrolled.
[0096] Advantageously, the dispensing device 14 further comprises a cutting system 54 configured to separate the pocket 12, in particular after dispensing and mixing, from the dispensing device 14, in particular from the rollers 48, 50, for example by cutting.
[0097] A process for preparing a cosmetic product according to the invention will now be described.
[0098] The method comprises a step of providing an assembly 10 as described previously.
[0099] More particularly, the method advantageously comprises a first step of providing a dispensing device 14 as described previously and a step of forming the pocket 12 by the pocket forming unit 42 of the dispensing device 14.
[0100] In particular, the system for distributing two superimposed surfaces 44 distributes two superimposed surfaces 52, for example two plastic sheets, by unwinding the storage roller 48 carried by the driving roller 50.
[0101] Then, as illustrated in [Fig.2] (a), the weld imprint 46 defines a peripheral seal on the two superimposed surfaces 52, hot or by gluing. The peripheral seal delimits the first 18 and the second 20 compartments, the baffle 22 and the filling opening 16.
[0102] Subsequently, the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12 thus formed is arranged opposite the dispensing nozzle 26 of the dispensing device 14, and advantageously connected to the latter.
[0103] The method then comprises a step of filling the first compartment 18 by dispensing each of the cosmetic formulations through the dispensing nozzle 26 connected to the filling opening 16.
[0104] More particularly, the dispensing unit 32, for example consisting of syringes, passes a quantity of cosmetic formulation from at least two of the reservoirs 28 to the dispensing nozzle 26 which dispenses them into the first compartment 18.
[0105] In particular, the quantity of cosmetic formulations distributed is defined by a personalized recipe determined by the control unit 34 according to parameters entered by the consumer. Preferably, a base and at least one active cosmetic product are distributed in the first compartment 18 of the pocket 12.
[0106] After filling the first compartment 18 with the cosmetic formulations, the second compartment 20 preferably remains empty before mixing.
[0107] Furthermore, after filling the first compartment 18 with the cosmetic formulations, the method advantageously comprises a step of closing the filling opening 16.
[0108] In particular, the closing element 35 of the dispensing device 14 welds or glues the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, in order to close the interior volume 24 of the pocket 12.
[0109] The method then comprises a mixing step illustrated in [Fig.2] (c), in which a pressure force is exerted from outside the pocket 12 so as to generate a flow in the baffle 22 of the dispensed cosmetic formulations. in the first direction SI then in the second opposite direction S2, so as to homogenize the cosmetic product.
[0110] More particularly, the control element 40 of the mixing element 36 of the distribution device 14 causes the support element 38 to move from its first position to its second position, then vice versa, so as to generate a flow in the baffle 22 between the two compartments 18, 20.
[0111] Preferably, the control element 40 moves the support element 38 several times from one position to the other.
[0112] The flow of the cosmetic formulations through the baffle 22 of small cross-section results in a mixing of the cosmetic formulations with each other to obtain the final homogeneous cosmetic product.
[0113] Subsequently, the method advantageously comprises a step of cutting the pocket 12, in particular to separate it from the rollers 48, 50.
[0114] To distribute the homogeneous cosmetic product obtained, the operator provides an additional opening on the pouch 12, for example by tearing, cutting or perforating the pouch 12, in particular along a pre-cut.
[0115] Such an assembly 10 allows preparation of a personalized cosmetic product with a mixing step carried out directly in the final container.
[0116] Such a mixing step is simple to implement and does not require a cleaning step, since the mixing is carried out directly in the bag 12 through which the product is then distributed to the consumer.
[0117] Furthermore, producing the mixture in the bag 12 limits the number of intermediate containers used, and therefore the waste generated.
[0118] It is also economical, because it does not require the use of complex mixing equipment.
[0119] The invention is not limited to the first embodiment described above. Other embodiments and variants, as well as all their technically possible combinations, can be envisaged.
[0120] According to a second embodiment of the invention illustrated in [Fig.3], the pocket 12 is provided with a mixing element 60 capable of exerting the pressure force from outside the pocket 12.
[0121] More particularly, the pocket 12 comprises a support bar 62 capable of being attached to the pocket 12, as illustrated in [Fig.3].
[0122] The support bar 62 is movable on the pocket 12 alternately between a first position, in which the support bar 62 is configured to exert a pressure force on the first compartment 18 and a second position, in which the support bar 62 is configured to exert a pressure force on the second compartment 20.
[0123] Preferably, the support bar 62 is movable in translation on each of the first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20, between the baffle 22 and the end of the first compartment 18, respectively of the second compartment 20, opposite the baffle 22.
[0124] The support bar 62 is for example clipped onto the pocket 12 and is capable of being moved by a user in the first direction S1 and in the second direction S2.
[0125] In the second embodiment of the invention, the preparation method differs in that the mixing step is not carried out using the dispensing device 14, but by the mixing element 60 of the bag 12.
[0126] More particularly, at the end of the filling step, the pocket 12, previously closed, is separated from the dispensing device 14, for example by the cutting step.
[0127] The user then attaches the support bar 62 to the pocket 12, for example by clipping it.
[0128] Then, the user moves the support bar 62 on the pocket 12 from its first position to its second position, then vice versa, so as to generate a flow in the baffle 22 between the two compartments 18, 20 and obtain the homogeneous cosmetic product.
[0129] According to a third embodiment of the invention illustrated in [Fig.4], the pocket 12 comprises an end piece 64 secured to the pocket 12.
[0130] The tip 64 is for example glued to the pocket 12.
[0131] The end piece 64 preferably defines an internal passage 66 capable of connecting the filling opening 16 of the bag 12 to the dispensing nozzle 26 of the dispensing device 14.
[0132] More particularly, as can be seen in [Fig. 4], the internal passage 66 extends on either side of the filling opening 16 with one part extending into the first compartment 18, and the other part extending outside the pocket 12.
[0133] The tip 64 is capable of connecting to the dispensing nozzle 26, for dispensing the cosmetic formulations into the first compartment 18 via the internal passage 66.
[0134] Furthermore, the tip 64 is preferably capable of dispensing the homogeneous cosmetic product through the internal passage 66.
[0135] Preferably, the end piece 64 comprises a plug 70 intended to removably close the internal passage 66. The plug 70 is suitable, for example, for being screwed onto the end piece 64.
[0136] The preparation method of this embodiment differs from that of the first embodiment in that it does not include a pocket formation step.
[0137] Before the filling step, the tip 64 is connected directly to the dispensing nozzle 26 of the dispensing device 14. After the filling step, the tip 64 is disconnected from the dispensing nozzle 26.
[0138] Preferably, the cap 70 is then screwed onto the end piece 64 in order to close the internal passage 66.
[0139] The mixing step is then implemented for example using the support bar 62, as described in the second embodiment.
[0140] The consumer can subsequently remove the cap 70 to dispense a desired quantity of the homogeneous cosmetic product through the interior passage 66.
[0141] Thanks to the tip 64 and its removable cap 70, the pocket 12 can be closed after a first dispensing of the cosmetic product, in order to protect the cosmetic product remaining in the pocket 12 from external contamination.
[0142] Preferably, the tip 64 is capable of connecting to a refillable dispenser bottle into which the pouch 12 is inserted. Such a connection allows dispensing of the cosmetic product from the pouch 12 via, for example, a dispensing tip of such a bottle.
[0143] In a variant of the invention, the pocket 12 comprises a plurality of baffles 22 fluidly connecting the first compartment 18 with the second compartment 20, as can be seen in the example of [Fig.4].
[0144] Each baffle 22 has a cross-section smaller than the cross-section of the first compartment 18 and the second compartment 20.
[0145] In another variant of the invention, the mixing step is not carried out using the dispensing device 14, nor by the mixing element 60 of the bag 12, but by the user himself.
[0146] More particularly, the user exerts the pressure force on each of the compartments 18, 20 of the pocket 12. For example, he exerts pressure on the pocket 12 between his thumb and his index finger.
[0147] Alternatively, at the end of the filling step, the pouch 12, previously closed, is placed in a dispensing bottle.
[0148] The dispensing bottle comprises a mixing element, in particular a support element, such as a roller for example, capable of exerting a pressure force from outside the pocket 12 so as to generate a flow in the baffle 22.
[0149] After mixing, the cosmetic product obtained is for example dispensed by a dispensing tip of the bottle, advantageously connected with the filling opening 16 of the pocket 12, for example by means of the tip 64.
