Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Critical wireless communication system and method for determining the monitoring equipment for direct wireless communication links technical field
[0001] The present invention relates generally to the field of wireless communications, and in particular to a system and method of communication by redundancy.
[0002] In so-called "critical" wireless communication systems, used for example for civil or military missions, it is known to use wireless communication devices that can operate according to communication protocols in relayed mode, i.e., with a connection to a network infrastructure, or in direct mode (i.e., without a network infrastructure). For example, the TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) standard, established by the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) standards body, covers a two-way mobile digital radio communication protocol intended for public services such as emergency services, police forces, ambulances, fire departments, public transport services, and the military.
[0003] Some known critical wireless communication systems use communication devices comprising a dual terminal integrating a 4G-type cellular terminal (relayed mode) with a radio terminal, often analog (direct mode). However, in such solutions, a communication break between a user and the rest of the wireless communication group is frequent, resulting in transmission losses that are sometimes critical. Indeed, a fundamental need of such public services is to be able to communicate under all circumstances (within and outside network coverage), for example, to effectively coordinate their actions with all members of their communication group, or to transmit a distress signal to at least one member of their communication group or to other people nearby who might be able to help them.
[0004] In group communication, each dual terminal may or may not be within the coverage of an infrastructure, and may or may not be within range of another dual terminal in direct mode. This situation is constantly changing depending on the mobility of the terminal users. The devices must always be able to communicate with each other.
[0005] Currently, there is no effective solution to address the problems of communication discontinuity between critical wireless communication devices located under the cover of an infrastructure and / or in non-covered areas covered by this infrastructure.
[0006] There is therefore a need for a system (comprising devices) and a method capable of improving the management of these wireless communications and in particular for determining a monitoring equipment for links according to the direct mode between devices. Summary of the invention
[0007] The present invention improves the situation by proposing a wireless communication system comprising a set of N communication devices, a communication center, and a network infrastructure configured to implement an interconnection network. [0012] Each communication device can comprise a set of resources R(n) and can be associated with a weight value K(n) determined from the set of resources R(n), the weight value K(n) being between a maximum weight value K(n) and a minimum weight value K(n). The monitoring equipment can be a communication device associated with a maximum weight value K(n) ^max-
[0013] Advantageously, the resource set R(„) can include a number / of physical and / or virtual features p / , each physical and / or virtual nor 1 v ( n ) being defined according to a factor of availability of the characteristic ristique associated with the communication system.
[0014] The resource set R(„) can include a number J of features physical and / or virtual u- _, each physical and / or virtual characteristic o / ■^(m) “•( n) being defined according to an arbitrary value of utility and / or importance p^ of the characteristic associated with the system and / or the characteristic associated with the communication device.
[0015] In embodiments, the availability factor j / and / or the arbitrary value of utility and / or importance pi can be determined at each update of the relayed connectivity states Erf„j and / or the direct connectivity states E£. / („^„+1 ).
[0016] At least some of the communication devices can be configured to determine a resource message comprising the weight K(n). At least some of the communication devices can be configured to send the resource message via the relayed communication module.

The method further includes a step of selecting a monitoring device from among the set of N communication devices based on the relayed connectivity states Er(n) and the direct connectivity states.

[0044] Fig. 1 schematically represents a critical wireless communication system 10 comprising a set of communication devices 100-1, 100-2, 100-3, 100-4 and 100-5, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0045] The critical wireless communication system 10 is used in the field of critical wireless communications by users in critical situations, for example, in situations related to public safety, in the military field, or in emergency situations. For example, and without limitation, users may be, depending on the use case, rescue or security forces, paramedics, etc.
[0046] A critical wireless communication device 100-n (or communication device) means a user equipment used by an end user Un, to communicate with at least one other user U-(n+l) having a communication device 100-(n+l) in the critical wireless communication system 10.
[0047] Each 100-n communication device of the critical wireless communication system 10 is configured to communicate with at least one other 100-(n+l) communication device of the critical wireless communication system 10, according to at least one wireless communication mode.
[0048] The critical wireless communication system 10 comprises a set of N devices 100-n, greater than or equal to 2. In the following description, the index 'n' is associated with any end user of the system.
[0049] Figure 2 schematically represents two modes of wireless communication between two communication devices 100-n and 100-(n+l), according to embodiments of the invention.
[0050] The first wireless communication mode between the two communication devices 100-n and 100-(n+l) can be a "direct communication mode" implemented according to a "direct communication protocol" (i.e., without network infrastructure). In particular, a direct communication protocol can be, for example, a radiocommunication transmission defined according to the DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) standard established by the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) standards body.
[0051] In the embodiment shown in [Fig.2], the communication device The 100-n communication device and the 100-(n+l) communication device are connected to each other via a direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l). Furthermore, for the direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l) to be effective, the 100-n and 100-(n+l) devices must be within direct radio range.
[0052] The second wireless communication mode between the two 100-n and 100-(n+l) communication devices can be a "relayed" communication mode implemented according to a "relayed" communication protocol (i.e., with a connection to a network infrastructure). In particular, a relayed communication protocol can be a wireless radiocommunication transmission, for example, without limitation, defined according to the LTE (Long Term Evolution) mobile telephony standard established by the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) standards body, or according to a post-LTE communication standard, for example, associated with the fifth generation of mobile network technology (5G).
[0053] The critical wireless communication system 10 may include a network infrastructure configured for the implementation of an interconnection network 200. In one embodiment, the network infrastructure may comprise a centralized or distributed architecture in a plurality of radio sites (not shown in the figures) interconnected via an interconnection network 200 (shown schematically in [Fig. 2]). In such an embodiment, the radio sites may be, for example, mobile radio sites, deployed via a mobile vehicular infrastructure. In such a system, a communication device 100-n corresponds to a mobile (or telephone) terminal, also called a user equipment (UE), suitable for connection to the interconnection network 200 via one or more radio sites.
[0054] In the embodiment shown in [Fig.2], the communication device 100-n and the communication device 100-(n+l) are connected to the interconnection network 200 (and consequently to each other) respectively by a relayed wireless communication link 120-n and the relayed wireless transmission 120-(n+l).
[0055] According to certain embodiments, the critical wireless communication system 10 may include a communication center 210 connected to the interconnection network 200 (and therefore to the communication devices 100-n connected to the interconnection network 200) by a wireless transmission 220 (referred to as the 'central wireless transmission'). For example, and without limitation, a communication center 210 may be a command center and / or a data management center.
[0056] Each 100-n communication device of the critical wireless communication system 10 is arranged in a geographical area that may include one or more geographical areas with coverage of the interconnection network 200, referred to as coverage areas 20, and at least one geographical area without coverage (or out of coverage) of the interconnection network 200, referred to as out-of-coverage areas 30. In the example embodiment shown in [Fig.1], the communication devices 100-1 and 100-2 are arranged in coverage areas 20, while the communication devices 100-3, 100-4 and 100-5 are arranged in an out-of-coverage area 30. The communication devices 100-1 and 100-2 are then "online" or "networked", while the communication devices 100-3, 100-4 and 100-5 are "offline" or "out of network" and cannot communicate with each other or with the communication devices 100-1 and 100-2, depending on the relayed communication mode.
[0057] Generally, two 100-n and 100-(n+l) communication devices that are "online" can communicate with each other using relayed communication. Two 100-n and 100-(n+l) communication devices that are "online" can also communicate with each other using direct communication if they are within direct radio range. If one or both of the 100-n and 100-(n+l) communication devices are "offline," the two devices cannot communicate with each other using relayed communication, but can communicate with each other using direct communication if they are within direct radio range.
[0058] Each 100-n communication device of the critical wireless communication system 10 is configured to be capable of:
[0059] - to transmit the same message synchronously at the same time through the mode of communication relayed and through direct communication; and
[0060] - to receive messages transmitted through the relayed communication method and / or through the mode of direct communication by other communication devices 100-(n+l).
[0061] As used herein, the term 'message', in transmission, can refer to a set of data associated with one or more pieces of information to be transmitted by a user Un possessing a communication device 100-n, to one or more other users U-(n+l) possessing a communication device 100-(n+l) having functions similar or equivalent to the functions of the communication device 100-n. Similarly, the term 'message', in reception, refers to a set of data associated with one or more pieces of information received by a user Un possessing a communication device 100-n, and originating from another user U-(n+l) possessing a communication device 100-(n+l). For example, and without limitation, a message can be an acoustic signal (i.e., a voice message, a sound message, etc.) and / or a visual signal (i.e., one or more images, a text message, etc.).
[0062] In some embodiments, the critical wireless communication system 10 can include at least one specific subset (denoted E) from the set of N devices 100-n. In particular, the critical wireless communication system 10 may include:
[0063] - a subset E^ of K "online" devices with direct radio range less one other device 100-n of the system 10, these devices then being denoted 100-k. The number K can be, in particular, an integer greater than or equal to 1. In the following description, the index 'k' is associated with different end users having a device connected to the interconnection network 200 and able to communicate by direct communication mode with at least one other end user Un; and
[0064] - a 1 / 3 / 4 subset of H "offline" devices with direct radio range less one other device 100-n of system 10, these devices then being denoted 100-h. The number H can be, in particular, an integer greater than or equal to 0. In the following description, the index 'h' is associated with different end users having a device not connected to the interconnection network 200 and able to communicate by direct communication mode with at least one other end user Un; and / or
[0065] - a subset E^ of Y devices "in line" and out of direct radio range of the other 100-n devices of system 10, these devices being then denoted 100-y. The number Y can be, in particular, an integer greater than or equal to 0. In the following description, the index 'y' is associated with different end users having a device connected to the interconnection network 200 and unable to communicate by direct communication mode with any other end user Un; and / or
[0066] - a subset E^ of Z devices "offline" and out of direct radio range of the other devices 100-n of the system 10, these devices being then denoted 100-z. The number Z can be, in particular, an integer greater than or equal to 0. Advantageously, the present invention makes it possible to obtain at all times a number Z equal to 0. In the following description, the index 'z' is associated with different end users having a device not connected to the interconnection network 200 and unable to communicate by direct communication mode with any other end user Un.
[0067] The sum of the number of devices in the different subsets must be equal to the total sum of devices in system 10, such that:
[0068] K + H + Y + Z = N (01)
[0069] Advantageously, the present invention makes it possible to obtain at all times a number Z equal to 0.
[0070] Fig. 3 schematically represents a communication device 100-n comprising a message acquisition and transmission module 1020, a management module 1040, a direct communication module 1060 and a relayed communication module 1080, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0071] The message acquisition and transmission module 1020 may include one or Several human-machine interfaces. These human-machine interfaces may include one or more message acquisition means configured to acquire a message M0(n) (also called an initial message M0(n)) generated by a user Un, via the communication device 100-n. These human-machine interfaces may also include one or more message transmission means for messages Mt(n+1), received by the communication device 100-n, to user Un. These messages Mt(n+1) were previously generated by users U-(n+1) and transmitted by them to user Un. For example, and without limitation, the message acquisition and transmission module 1020 may include a microphone, a loudspeaker, a keyboard, a display screen, and / or one or more optoelectronic units capable of emitting light, such as light-emitting diodes.
[0072] The 1060 direct communication module of the 100-n communication device is configured to transmit and receive one or more messages through the 110-n(n+1) direct wireless communication link. For example, and without limitation, the 1060 direct communication module may include a hardware unit such as an electronic board called, for example, a 'DMR module'.
[0073] In embodiments, the direct communication module 1060 can further be configured to secure by encryption the messages to be transmitted according to a 'direct communication encryption key', for example common to the communication devices of the critical wireless communication system 10. Consequently, the direct communication module 1060 can further be configured to decrypt the messages received according to the common encryption key for direct communications.
[0074] The 1080 relay communication module of the 100-n communication device is configured to transmit and / or receive one or more messages using the 120-n relay wireless transmission of the 200 interconnection network. For example, and without limitation, the 1080 relay communication module may be a telephone terminal (i.e., user equipment or UE) suitable for connection to the 200 interconnection network via one or more radio sites. The 1080 relay communication module may include an application dedicated to mission-critical communications, or group communications, also called an MCX (Mission-Critical Services) application. In such an embodiment, depending on the relay communication protocol, the 1080 relay communication module of the system devices 10 may include an MCX client, while the communication center 210 includes an MCX server.
[0075] The relayed communication module 1080 of the communication device 100-n is associated with a unique identifier denoted i^, identifying the communication device 100-n.
[0076] The 1080 relay communication module of the 100-n communication device is in addition associated with a relayed connectivity state Er(n) corresponding to a connection state of the communication device 100-n with the interconnection network 200.
[0077] In some embodiments, the relayed communication module 1080 of the communication device 100-n can then be configured to generate (i.e., determine and update) a data structure, also called a 'relayed connectivity matrix', denoted by , comprising the relayed connectivity state of the communication device 100-n and the relayed connectivity states Er(„+]) of each of the other communication devices 100-(n+l) in the set of communication devices of the system 10 as a function of the unique identifiers i^ and i r(n+l)*
[0078] In certain embodiments, the communication center 210 can then be configured to supervise the connection of each of the communication devices 100-n with the interconnection network 200, via their respective module 1080, and to generate (i.e., determine and update) a data structure such as a 'global relayed connectivity matrix' denoted Tr, comprising the relayed connectivity state Er(„) of each of the communication devices (100-n and 100-(n+1)) of the set of communication devices of the system 10 according to their unique identifiers i^,. The communication center 210 can then be configured to transmit some or all of the information from the global relayed connectivity matrix T,. to the communication devices 100-n via the interconnection network 200 and thus their respective module 1080.
[0079] The relayed connectivity matrix can be initialized when all devices in system 10 are "online" in an operational mode. As used here, an "online" device refers to a device connected to network 200. The initialization of the connectivity matrix can be implemented at the beginning of a specific mission or intervention carried out by users of system 10. The relayed connectivity matrix Tr(„) can then be updated, at a frequency predefined by the relayed communication module 1080, when the device is connected to network 200. An overall relayed connectivity matrix, denoted Tr, includes the precise relayed connectivity state E,(„) at any given time1 of all devices in the system. The relayed connectivity matrix Tr(„) of an "offline" device, on the other hand, may be erroneous. The global relayed connectivity matrix Tr can be determined and maintained by the communication center 210 for example.
[0080] A relayed connectivity state Er(„) may include, for example and without limitation, an integer and / or a Boolean element. In particular, the integer may be of binary type. Thus, the relayed connectivity state Er(„) may take a binary value from among a a first value and a second value. The relayed connectivity state Er(„) can take a first value, for example equal to '1' (or 'true') for devices 100-k and 100-y connected to network 200 (included in subsets EK and Ey). The relayed connectivity state Er(„) can take a second value, for example equal to '0' (or 'false') for devices 100-h and 100-z not connected to network 200 (included in subsets £h and ^z). A relayed connectivity matrix Tr (or can be represented by a data structure, such as a data table, comprising information relating to the state of the relayed communication mode (i.e., network range) of some or all of the communication devices included in system 10 according to their unique identifier ir(n).A relayed connectivity state Er(„j may also include a date relative to a timestamp corresponding to the last "observation" of connectivity of device 100-n to the interconnection network 200.
[0081] In embodiments, the 1080 relay communication module can further be configured to secure by encryption the messages to be transmitted according to an encryption key for the relayed communications, which can, for example, be common to the communication devices of the critical wireless communication system 10. The 1080 relay communication module can then be configured to decrypt the messages received according to the common encryption key for the relayed communications.
[0082] The communication center 210 can generate, via network 200, the sharing of encryption keys for relayed communications among all the relayed communication modules 1080 of the devices in the critical wireless communication system 10, when these devices are all "online" (i.e., connected to network 200) in operational mode. Such key sharing can be implemented at the beginning of a specific mission or intervention carried out by the users of the system 10.
[0083] The message acquisition and transmission module 1020, as well as the direct communication module 1060 and the relayed communication module 1080, can each be connected to the management module 1040. The management module 1040 is then configured to collect and process messages to be transmitted from the module 1020 (acquired from user Un) and to transfer them to the two communication modules 1060 and 1080. The management module 1040 is further configured to collect and process messages received from the two communication modules 1060 and 1080 and transfer them to the module 1020 (to be transmitted to user Un).
[0084] According to certain embodiments, the communication center 210 can generate, via the network 200, the sharing of encryption keys for direct communications with all devices of the critical wireless communication system 10, when these are all "online". Advantageously, this key sharing can be put into This is implemented at the start of a specific mission or intervention conducted by users of system 10. For this purpose, the communication center 210 can be configured to transmit a direct communication encryption key to the relay communication module 1080 of the various devices. The management module 1040 (connected to the relay communication module 1080) can then be configured to transmit this direct communication encryption key to the direct communication module 1060, enabling rapid key renewal (for example, for each mission and / or intervention) in this specific communication mode.
[0085] According to certain embodiments, the message acquisition and transmission module 1020 may be a portable transceiver device. For example, the message acquisition and transmission module 1020 may be a 'micro-bulb' comprising means for acquiring and transmitting voice messages, such as, for example, a microphone, a loudspeaker, and / or toggle buttons. This micro-bulb may also have a screen for reading received text messages. The message acquisition and transmission module 1020 may, for example, be a smartphone configured for entering and / or reading text or audio messages, for entering and / or viewing geolocation positions, and for acquiring and / or viewing images.
[0086] According to some embodiments, modules 1020, 1080, and 1060 can be integrated into a single element. In other embodiments, modules 1020, 1080, and / or 1060 may include connectors allowing communication with each other and / or with other external modules.
[0087] In embodiments, the management module 1040 may include a hardware unit (such as an electronic card, for example) interfacing with the direct communication module 1060 and the relayed communication module 1080. The management module 1040 may further include a software and / or firmware unit (i.e., embedded software) implemented or integrated into the direct communication module 1060, the relayed communication module 1080, and / or the message acquisition and transmission module 1020.
[0088] Fig. 3 represents a structure of the 1040 management module, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0089] In some embodiments, the management module 1040 includes a message processing unit 1042 and an identification unit 1044.
[0090] The software and / or firmware unit of the management module 1040 may include the message processing unit 1042 and the identification unit 1044.
[0091] The message processing unit 1042 is configured to convert a message M0(n), acquired via the message acquisition module 1020, into a direct communication message Md according to the direct communication protocol associated with the Direct communication module 1060. Message processing unit 1042 is configured to convert the same message M0(n) into a relayed communication message Mr according to the relayed communication protocol associated with the relayed communication module 1080.
[0092] In some embodiments, the management module 1040 of the devices 100-n of the system 10 also includes a geolocation unit 1048, as shown in [Fig.3].
[0093] A geolocation unit 1048 can be configured to provide geolocation data for the communication device 100-n. The management module 1040 can then be configured to associate at least some of this geolocation data with some or all of the direct communication messages Md and / or the relayed communication messages M,. emitted by the device 100-n.
[0094] In particular, a message sent by a relay communication module 1080 within the interconnection network 200 includes an identification data associated with the unique identifier ir(n) of this relay communication module 1080. The unique identifier ir(n) can then be recognized by any relay communication module 1080 and / or management module 1040 of a device 100-(n+l) of the critical wireless communication system 10 receiving and / or processing this message, then denoted Mr(n).
[0095] The identification unit 1044 is configured to determine an identifier id(n) associated with the direct communication module 1060 of the communication device 100-n, from the unique identifier i^ of the relayed communication module 1080 of the same communication device 100-n.
[0096] In particular, the identification unit 1044 can be configured to apply a function f to a unique identifier ir to generate an associated identifier id such that:
[0097] id= f(O (02)
[0098] In equation (02), for example and without limitation, the function f can be a translation or format transformation function, or a bijective, injective, and / or surjective application.
[0099] In certain embodiments, a unique identifier i may be an MCX identifier comprising a number Nr of digits (for example, Nr=10) and defined in an MSISDN (Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number) format. The function f may then be a truncation function such that the associated identifier id comprises a number Nd of digits and such that Nd is less than Nr (Nd <Nr et par exemple Nd=7 correspondant aux 7 premiers digits de l’identifiant MCX appelés les 7 digits "call ID").
[0100] Advantageously, the message processing unit 1042 is configured to add to the direct communication message Md to be transmitted by a direct communication module 1060 an identification data defined by this associated identifier id(n). By Consequently, the associated identifier id(n) can be recognized by any management module 1040 of a device 100-(n+l) of the critical wireless communication system 10 processing this message, then noted Md(n).
[0101] In embodiments, the message processing unit 1042 can be configured to ensure the synchronous transmission of the direct communication message Md(n) and the relayed communication message Mr(n) (sent by the direct communication module 1060 and the relayed communication module 1080 respectively), in particular when the communication device 100-n is connected to the interconnection network 200.
[0102] Therefore, the 1040 management module can be configured to ensure the transmission and reception of messages between devices.
[0103] The 1040 management module can also be configured to perform message duplication between relayed mode and direct mode, as well as to perform message adaptation to the expected formats in each of the 1080 and 1060 modules, and the 1020 module.
[0104] The 1040 management module can also take into account local commands from user Un of the 100-n device. Some local commands may be, for example, a call takeover (or a call switchover), as well as a signaling associated with the acquisition, reception and / or transmission of messages, to each of the 1020, 1080 and 1060 modules. The 1040 management module can also be configured to apply a set of configurable rules taking as input the local commands and signals made by user Un to apply processing to the different messages.
[0105] For example, and without limitation, in response to a "take over" command issued by user Un, a call signal can be generated by module 1020 to modules 1080 and 1060. Modules 1080 and 1060 can then be configured to acknowledge this signal to the management module 1040. In response to the acknowledgment from each of the two modules 1080 and 1060, the management module 1040 can be configured to duplicate and format an (initial) voice message acquired by module 1020, and then send it to both modules 1080 and 1060.
[0106] In general, the direct communication module 1060 of the communication device 100-n is configured to receive direct communication messages Md(n+1) transmitted by at least one device 100-(n+l) via the direct wireless transmission 110-n(n+l). The relayed communication module 1080 of the communication device 100-n is configured to receive relayed communication messages Mr(n+1) transmitted from devices 100-(n+l) via the relayed wireless transmission 120-n and 120-(n+l) of the interconnection network 200.
[0107] The message processing unit 1042 can then be configured to process the messages Mr(n+1) and / or messages Md(n+1) received by modules 1060 and 1080. In particular, the message processing unit 1042 can be configured to convert messages Mr(n+1) and / or Md(n+1) into converted messages, also called 'messages to be transmitted' (denoted and Mtd(n+i)) via the message acquisition and transmission module 1020.
[0108] In some embodiments, the identification unit 1044 can be configured to determine:
[0109] - the unique identifier relating to the identification data of the communication message Relayed communication MT(n+1), and
[0110] - the associated identifier id(n+1) relating to the identification data of the communication message direct communication Md(n+1).
[0111] The management module 1040 of the first communication device 100-n can then be configured to compare the identifiers ir(n+i) and id(n+1) to determine, based on the result of the comparison, whether the identified direct communication message Md(n+1) and the relayed communication message Mr(n+1) are transmitted by the same and unique second communication device 100-(n+1), which is then associated with a unique device identifier, denoted i(n+i) (also called the common identifier). For example, this comparison can be implemented by the message processing unit 1042 and / or the identification unit 1044.
[0112] Part or all of the unique identifiers associated with the devices of system 10 can be saved in memory in the MCX application and made available and accessible by the management module 1040 by means of queries for example.
[0113] The 1040 management module of the 100-n communication device can be configured to determine the unique identifier ir(n+i) and the associated identifier Êqn+{) and to associate each of these identifiers ir(n+l) and U(h+i) with the same identifier i(w+i) (or common identifier) relating to the 100-(n+l) communication device. To facilitate understanding of the invention and for the sake of simplification, the following description will be made primarily with reference to the identifier i(„) (respectively i(„+i) for example) associated with the 100-n communication device (respectively 100-(n+l) for example).
[0114] In some embodiments, the management module 1040 of each device 100-n of the system 10 also includes a supervisory unit 1046, as shown in [Fig.3].
[0115] Upon receipt by a device 100-n of a direct communication message M^h+i ) associated with the identifier i(M+i) of the device 100-(n+l), the direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l) is established between the transmitting device 100-(n+l) and the 100-n communication device. The 1046 supervisory unit of the 100-n device can thus be configured to determine a direct connectivity state corresponding to a direct wireless communication link state of the transmitting device 100-(n+l) with said 100-n communication device.
[0116] In particular, a direct connectivity state Ej("n+1") may include, for example and without limitation, an integer and / or a Boolean element. The integer may be of binary type. For example, the direct connectivity state may take a binary value between a first value and a second value. The direct connectivity state E^^^+j ) can take a first value, for example equal to '1' (or 'true') if the device 100-n receives direct communication messages transmitted by a device 100-(n+l) (i.e., this includes all direct connectivity states E,E^^+i, E^p^kri) and all reciprocal direct connectivity states between devices 100-k and / or 100-h that are within direct radio range and are included in the subsets EK and / or 100-h. The direct connectivity state Edf^n+i ) can take a second value, for example equal to '0' (or 'false') if the device 100-n no longer receives direct communication messages transmitted by a device 100-(n+l) (which includes all other direct connectivity states E^^y, and Ej^,) between at least one device 100-y and / or 100-z inclusive in subsets E^ and E^ which are out of direct radio range of all 100-n devices of system 10, i.e. not having received a direct communication message for a specified period). A direct connectivity state Efq„^n+] ) may also include a date relative to a timestamp corresponding to the last direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l) established between the transmitting device 100-(n+l) and the communicating device 100-n.
[0117] The supervisory unit 1046 of the device 100-n can further be configured to generate (i.e., determine and update) a data structure, also called an 'elementary connectivity matrix' denoted T(w), comprising the direct connectivity states E^(n+1) of each of the other communication devices 100-(n+1) of the entire system 10 with the device 100-n. Each of the direct connectivity states E^(n+1) is then associated with the different unique identifiers i(n+1) of the devices 100-(n+1) of the system 10.
[0118] In some embodiments, the elementary matrix can further be generated from the relayed connectivity matrix T. The elementary connectivity matrix T(„) can be initialized when all devices of the system 10 are “online” (i.e., connected to the network 200) and within direct radio range in an operational mode. Such matrix initialization can be implemented at the beginning of a mission or specific intervention carried out by system users 10. Therefore, the elementary connectivity matrix can subsequently be updated each time a direct communication message is received. The matrix elementary can be updated (or enhanced and supplemented) in response to the establishment of a direct 110-n(n+l) wireless communication link and / or an active 120-n relayed wireless transmission to the 200 interconnection network.
[0119] In some embodiments, the management module 1040 of the communication device 100-n may include an internal clock (not shown in the figures). Advantageously, in this case, the supervisory unit 1046 may be configured to assign a timestamp %hi) to each direct connectivity state associated with The time of reception of the last direct communication message (establishment of a direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l)), using the internal clock provided in the 1040 module. For example, and without limitation, the 1046 supervisory unit can determine a direct connectivity state of '0' (or 'false') if the 100-n device no longer receives a direct communication message transmitted by the 100-(n+l) device at a time f, the time being defined relative to a communication monitoring threshold 'c' as defined by equation (03), which indicates that the 100-(n+l) device is out of direct radio range:
[0120]
[0121] Figure 4 illustrates an example of an elementary connectivity matrix T(„) of a device 100-n in a system 10 comprising devices 100-n, 100-(n+1), 100-(n+2), and 100-(n+3). The elementary connectivity matrix is represented in this example by a data table containing information on the relayed connectivity states Er(„), Er(„+p, E^^), and Er(„+3) of each device 100-n, 100-(n+1), 100-(n+2), and 100-(n+3) of the system 10. The data table for a device 100-n may also include information on the direct connectivity states Ej(w«.b+i), E^jw^n+2), and Erf(„«.„+3) of each device 100-(n+1), 100-(n+2) and 100-(n+3) of system 10 with device 100-n. In addition, each of the direct connectivity states Ej(„«.h+q, Ej(„«n+2) and E^rt^M+3) can be associated with a respective timestamp (i.e. %;+i), ^(«+2) and f(«+3), not shown in [Fig.4]).
[0122] The 1040 management module of the 100-n communication device can be configured to determine a noted relayed connectivity message from the elementary connectivity matrix T(„p
[0123] According to certain embodiments, the relayed communication module 1080 of the communication device 100-n can be configured to transmit this message from MT(„) relayed connectivity only if the 100-n communication device is “online”, i.e. connected to the 200 interconnection network.
[0124] In embodiments, the relayed connectivity message may also include at least part of the geolocation data relating to the device 100-n obtained for example via the geolocation unit 1048.
[0125] In embodiments, the transmission of the relayed connectivity message MT(„) can be performed according to predefined connectivity transmission parameters. For example, the management module 1040 of the communication device 100-n (comprising an internal clock) can be configured to use a connectivity transmission parameter defined by the regular repetition of the transmission of the relayed connectivity message Mt(„) according to a predefined transmission time frequency f such that f = 1 / r^. The management module 1040 of the communication device 100-n can further use another connectivity transmission parameter corresponding to an update parameter of the elementary connectivity matrix T(„) generating the transmission of the updated relayed connectivity message Mt(„).
[0126] For example, and without limitation, the relayed connectivity message MT(„) can be empty if the elementary connectivity matrix T(n) remains unchanged between two transmissions of the relayed connectivity message, that is, if no relayed and / or direct connectivity state has been modified. This implies, in particular, that the device 100-na received at least one direct communication message from each of the other transmitting devices 100-(n+l) during the time interval Te between the two transmissions of the Alterna relayed connectivity message. Specifically, the relayed connectivity message can include part or all of the elementary connectivity matrix T(„), if at least one relayed and / or direct connectivity state of the elementary connectivity matrix is modified. The relayed connectivity message My(nj) can include, for example, the identifier i(n+i) of the device 100-(n+l) that has not established a direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l). Such a differential message transmission embodiment has the advantage of allowing the generation of compact messages, and in particular, smaller messages than a message generated according to an embodiment involving the systematic transmission of the matrix T(„).
[0127] In some embodiments, a method for monitoring critical wireless communications can then be implemented by one or more monitoring devices 400 included in a critical wireless communication system 10. A monitoring device 400 can be a communication device connected to the interconnection network 200 and / or the communication center 210 (via the MCX server, for example). A supervisory device 400 can be configured to receive the MT(„) relayed connectivity messages sent by each 100-n communication device connected to the interconnection network 200 and deduce the associated elementary connectivity matrices T(„j). In particular, if the supervisory device 400 is a 100-n communication device, the relayed communication module 1080 receives the MT(„) relayed connectivity messages and forwards them to the management module 1040 (via the message processing unit 1042 and the identification unit 1044, for example), and processes them to deduce the associated elementary connectivity matrices T(„j).
[0128] According to embodiments, the supervisory equipment 400 can be configured to associate with each elementary connectivity matrix T(„) received a timestamp U(«), using an internal clock provided in the management module 1040. For example, a timestamp tT(n) can include at least one time data relating to the transmission and / or reception of the relayed connectivity message Mt(u) received.
[0129] A supervisory equipment 400 can further be configured to generate (i.e., determine and update) a data structure, also called a 'global connectivity matrix' denoted T, in particular from the set of received elementary connectivity matrices T(„). In particular, the global connectivity matrix T can be initialized when all the 100-n devices of the system 10 are 'online' (i.e., connected to the network 200) and within direct radio range in an operational mode. Such matrix initialization can be implemented at the start of a specific mission or intervention carried out by the users of the system 10. The global connectivity matrix T can then be updated at a predefined frequency by the supervisory equipment 400 and / or upon each reception of a relayed connectivity message
[0130] In certain embodiments, the supervisory equipment 400 can be arranged to determine the overall connectivity matrix T by associating with each identifier of the set of devices 100-n in the system 10, at least a portion of the geolocation data relating to device 100-n. In such a case, the supervisory equipment 400 can be configured to extract information relating to the geolocation data of device 100-n from the received relayed connectivity message Mt(w) and / or from any other direct communication messages Md(n) and / or relayed communication messages Mr(n) transmitted by device 100-n. In particular, the supervisory equipment 400 can be configured to determine, from various geolocation data and identifiers a map of the positioning of the different 100-n devices of the system.
[0131] In one embodiment, the global connectivity matrix T can include the set of identifiers i(„) of the devices 100-n of the system 10 and a 'status' information associated with each of the identifiers i(„p For example and without limitation, a status can be 'connected to network and direct mode', 'connected to network', 'connected in direct mode' or 'not connected'.
[0132] Figure 5 represents a global connectivity matrix T of a system 10 comprising devices 100-n, 100-(n+1), 100-(n+2), and 100-(n+3), according to another embodiment. The global connectivity matrix T is represented in this example by a data table containing information on the relayed connectivity states Er(n), Er(n+1), Er(n+2), and Er(n+3) of each of the devices in the system 10. The data table also includes:
[0133] - information relating to the direct connectivity states Ej^^^ ), Ed(„«, / +2) and devices 100-(n+1), 100-(n+2) and 100-(n+3) of system 10 with device 100-n, updated on each reception of relayed connectivity message W(n);
[0134] - information relating to the direct connectivity states j, E^(?ï+!^n+2 ; and Ef / devices 100-n, 100-(n+2) and 100-(n+3) of system 10 with device 100-(n+l), updated on each reception of relayed connectivity message;
[0135] - information relating to direct connectivity states and Erf(K+2ow+3) of devices 100-n, 100-(n+1) and 100-(n+3) of system 10 with device 100-(n+2), updated on each reception of a relayed connectivity message W("+2"); and
[0136] - information relating to the direct connectivity states E^+^+i) and Et / („+3«.„+2) of devices 100-n, 100-(n+1) and 100-(n+2) of system 10 with device 100-(n+3), updated on each reception of relayed connectivity message W(n+3)-
[0137] Thus, although a 100-h device arranged solely in direct radio range cannot transmit a relayed connectivity message, the overall connectivity matrix T includes information relating to the state of the direct communication links of the 100-k devices "online" and arranged in direct radio range of the 100-h device, via the associated direct connectivity states Ej( ^ / , ), updated upon each reception of relayed connectivity messages
[0138] Furthermore, each of the connectivity states (relayed and / or direct) of the global connectivity matrix T can be associated with one or more respective timestamps (not shown in Figure 5). Such a timestamp can be a timestamp linked to the direct connectivity states ^T(A) and ^T(A), and / or a timestamp linked to the reception of the relayed connectivity message ^T(A) and H^k).
[0139] In embodiments, the communication center 210 (via the MCX application for example) can be configured to determine (i.e. select) the supervisory equipment 400 from among all the devices 100-n of the system, according to different determination criteria and from the global connectivity matrix T.
[0140] To determine a supervisory device 400, a first criterion for determination can be access to the interconnection network 200. Thus, a supervisory device 400 can be defined as one of the communication devices selected from the subset EK of K devices 100-k of the system 10, i.e., connected to the interconnection network 200 and having a non-zero direct radio range. The subset EK can be defined by the following expression (04):
[0141] EK= { / (j.) eE| (E,(À) = 1) n = 1, 3iw e£)} (04)
[0142] To determine a 400 supervisory equipment, a second criterion of determination The number of 100-h "offline" devices with direct radio range to which a communication device can be associated can be determined. Thus, a 400 supervisory system can be configured to have the maximum number of "offline" terminals with direct radio range. For example, and without limitation, the 400 supervisory system can be a 100-k "online" communication device in system 10 with the highest number of direct connectivity states (1), the states of direct connectivity being associated with wireless communication links direct connection of the 100-k "online" device with a 100-h "offline" device of system 10.
[0143] The number of direct connectivity states E^^^ ; = 1 of a 100-k device can be denoted and can be defined by the following equation (05): [°1441 7 1^^3^)^(05)
[0145] In equation (05) the subset En can be defined by the following expression (06): [01461 Eu= =0) n ( 1'} (06)
[0147] Consequently, each identifier of the subset E^ can therefore be associated with a number of direct connectivity states Xd(ky). A person skilled in the art will readily understand that this number of direct connectivity states can be calculated for each of the devices 100-n of system 10 such that:
[0148] Viu) e£K(07),
[0149] Xd(h)^l Vi(A) GEH(08),
[0150] ^(z) =^G)=0, Vi(2) eEzet3i(v) e£y(09),
[0151] In embodiments, the number of direct connectivity states %d(k) can be ordered hierarchically among themselves, according to a list of connections, from the largest number of direct connectivity states denoted X;niW to the smallest number of direct connectivity states denoted .
[0152] Thus, the identifier of the supervisory equipment 400, denoted / (400), can be selected from the identifier(s) i(^ of a device 100-k in the subset E^ associated with the maximum number of direct connectivity states Xwm-, that is such that: *(400) -i(k^
[0154] It should be noted that several 100-k devices in the subset E^ may possibly be associated with the maximum number of direct connectivity states Xd(k) ~ ^max-
[0155] In some embodiments, a supervisory equipment 400 can be defined as "the most central device 100-n of the system 10". For example, and without limitation, the determination of the most central device 100-n of the system 10 can be implemented according to another determination criterion, based on the positioning map of the various devices 100-n of the system defined with the geolocation data of the identifiers of the global connectivity matrix T.
[0156] In certain embodiments, the wireless communication system 10 may include a relayed connection device (denoted, for example, 100-r and associated with an identifier i[r]) defined from among all the devices 100-n of the system. This relayed connection device 100-r is associated with a relayed connectivity state of 1, which cannot be changed during the mission. For example, a relayed connection device 100-r may be a "head of equipment" (also called "aggregation manager," "communication group manager," or "communication node") that must remain connected to the network 200 under all circumstances. Thus, the determination of the supervisory equipment 400 can be implemented according to an additional determination criterion, based on the direct connectivity state linked to the relayed connection device 100-r of the system. 10. The supervisory equipment identifier 400 / (400) can be selected from the identifier(s) / (j) of a 100-k device in the EK subset associated with the state of direct connectivity = 1, that is to say such that:
[0157]
[0158] ^'(400) I ( %d(k) ^max j ^(r) E^ (H) In one embodiment, to determine a supervisory equipment 400, a third determination criterion can be defined from a set of resources denoted and associated with each device 100-k in the subset EK. For example, and without limitation, a set of resources Ræ can include physical and / or virtual characteristics, each denoted r). Some physical characteristics may include, without limitation, hardware and / or software capabilities, data processing capabilities, computing (CPU) capabilities, and / or working memory capabilities, and / or mass storage capabilities, battery capabilities, artificial intelligence (GPU) capabilities, secret information storage capabilities, network communication guarantee capabilities (antennas, radio transmission power and / or network coverage 200, charge / battery, radio capacity, etc.), operational capabilities (hierarchical according to user rank for example) or any other type of necessary resource (for example existing services supported by the MCX application on the 1060 direct communication module, i.e. Smartphone), etc. Some virtual characteristics can be virtualized building blocks, each corresponding to specific data processing capabilities based on physical characteristics (disk space, or operational characteristics such as a location characteristic determining whether a position is dangerous or not). Some virtual capacities can be defined, for example, in terms of execution cycles per unit of time, number of cores for a given time, and / or volume units (bytes), read and write operations per unit of time, and / or volume units per unit of time (bits per second).
[0159] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that each device 100-n of the system 10 can be associated with a set of resources denoted comprising the physical and / or virtual characteristics d / ,. ±x(n)
[0160] The set of resources R(^) can be a matrix defined with respect to the different physical and / or virtual characteristics. The nature and / or the total number J of physical and / or virtual characteristics can be determined, for example, at the beginning of a specific mission or intervention carried out by the users of the system 10. The matrix can be defined by equation (12): [01611 V / e[l ... J], 3 / œeEK<12)
[0162] Furthermore, according to embodiments, each physical characteristic and / or virtual y / Kd) associated with a 100-k device to be considered by system 10, can be defined according to resource parameters as defined in the following expression (13):
[0163] R (j)=(4r %} (B)
[0164] In expression (13), the term j7 can, for example, be an availability factor for the physical and / or virtual characteristic Rjy. According to some embodiments, the availability factor rE can be a binary number equal to '0' if the resource R7 is not available for the device 100-k (during the mission or at a time f), or a binary number equal to '1' if the resource R7 is available for the device 100-k (during the mission or at a time f). In other embodiments, the availability factor can be a floating-point number between '0' and '1', or a percentage between '0%' and '100%' describing the availability of the resource R7 for the device 100-k (at the beginning of the mission, during the mission, and / or at a time f).
[0165] In expression (13), the term pi can be, for example, an arbitrary value of utility and / or importance of the resource in general R7 determined, for example, at the beginning of a specific mission or intervention carried out by the users of the system 10. In particular, the physical and / or virtual characteristics J can be ordered hierarchically among themselves, according to a resource importance list, from the most important resource RTO1XV for a device 100-k to the least important resource R, for that device 100-k. In the resource importance list, the arbitrary value of utility and / or importance of a resource pJ can be determined at the beginning of the mission, and can possibly be modified during the mission, at a given time l.
[0166] In one embodiment, an arbitrary utility value and / or an importance value of a resource may be considered inherent to resource R7. In another embodiment, the arbitrary utility value and / or the importance value of resource R7 may be adapted according to the operational context.
[0167] In certain embodiments, one or more availability factors xk and / or one or more arbitrary utility and / or importance values pi can be determined (i.e., updated) at each update of the relayed connectivity states Er(„ j) and / or the direct connectivity states (and therefore of the connectivity matrix). global T).
[0168] Therefore, to determine a supervisory equipment 400, the third determination criterion can be defined from the determination of a value of "Weight" (i.e., or weight calculation) is then denoted K{k}. The weight value is associated with each device 100-k with an identifier in the subset EK and takes into account the set of resources R^. The weight value Eh of the J physical characteristics and / or virtual for a 100-k device can be defined, for example, according to the equation (14) following: 101691
[0170] Furthermore, in certain embodiments, an additional term denoted may to be added to expression (13) and equation (14), corresponding to a value ar arbitrary utility and / or importance of the resource in general R7 of a 100k device for a 100-hour "offline" device with direct radio range in particular. By for example, the additional term (k^h) may refer to service requests of a number of users interested in their content and requiring the relay to network 200 of a message received in direct mode.
[0171] According to some embodiments, the 210 communication center (via The MCX application (for example) can be configured to transmit a resource information request over the 200 interconnection network. In this case, each 100-k device with an identifier can be configured to prepare and send an MR(£) response message to the resource information request. An MR(£) response message associated with the identifier can include, for example, the calculated (or determined) weight K(k) of the J physical and / or virtual characteristics for the 100-k device and / or directly the resource matrix R^ associated with each 100-k device.
[0172] The communication center 210 (via the MCX application for example) can also be configured to receive the K MR( ^, reply message in response to the request information on resources and to hierarchically order the different weights K(k) according to a weight list from the largest Km( / X) to the smallest Kmin. In the weight list, Kmax is the maximum weight value of a 100-k device and Kmin is the minimum weight value of a 100-k device (i.e., determined during the mission or at a given time). The identifier of the 400¢(400) monitoring equipment can thus be selected from among the identifier(s) of a 100-k device in the subset E^ associated with the highest weight, that is, such that:
[0173] z'(400)-Kin(lx) (15)
[0174] or even ] ^(40Q) — Ê k )» Èk) ^K| (^(k) — ( ^4) —
[0176] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that the invention is not limited to such embodiments. For example, equations (11) and (15) or (16) can be combined.
[0177] In some embodiments, the communication center 210 can be further configured to hierarchically order (i.e., at the beginning of the mission and / or during the mission, at a given time?) the various 100-k devices of the system 10 according to a list of priority devices, based on scores assigned to each 100-k device defined according to different determination criteria. In some embodiments, the list of priority devices can be ordered according to the scores associated with the 100-k devices. In particular, the list of priority devices can be ordered in ascending or descending order of the scores associated with the 100-k devices. Thus, according to a descending order of the list, in the list of priority devices, the 100-k devices are ranked from the maximum score of a 100-k device PRIO^x to the minimum score PRIO^, Advantageously, at a time', a unique 100-k device with identifier is associated with the maximum score PRIO^x and is chosen as the supervisory equipment 400 such that — / (400). .
[0178] In one embodiment, at a given time1, one or more 100-(kl) devices with identifiers / (44) associated with the second maximum score PRIO^x^ can be chosen as "supervisory backup devices" for the supervisory equipment 400. A 100-(kl) supervisory backup device can be configured to be the supervisory equipment 400 if, for example, the 100-k device with identifier / (4) were to go "offline" before the system could perform a new determination of a supervisory equipment 400.
[0179] According to another embodiment, the supervisory equipment 400 can be within direct radio range of only a subset of H1 devices 100-h, then denoted Eh b such that:
[0180] H>H1> let£H1= e£H^Erf(W«400) = 1, 3^^} (17)
[0181] Consequently, another subset of H2 100-h devices, herein denoted Eh2, can be defined such that:
[0182] H2 + H1 - H et£œ-(e^^oo) ~ 0, 3 if400) eEk) H18)
[0183] At this same instant while the device 100-k with identifier ) is chosen as the supervisory equipment 400, a second list of priority devices can be determined from the identifiers 1^2} of devices 100-k2 included in a subset EK2 defined by the following expression (19):
[0184] = 31( / ,2) e£H2) H19)
[0185] The second list of priority devices can be determined from the hierarchical ranking according to the score of the different devices 100-k2, of the The maximum score PRIOmax2 is compared to the minimum score PRIOmin2. Thus, a 100-k2 device with an identifier associated with the maximum score PRIOmax2 can be chosen as a backup monitoring device for the 400 monitoring equipment for 100-h devices that are out of direct radio range of the 400 monitoring equipment.
[0186] A person skilled in the art will understand that one or more additional priority device lists can be generated in order to allocate a required number of backup supervisory devices, so as to cover (i.e. allocate) all 100-h devices of system 10, thereby ensuring continuity of service of direct mode communications and avoiding the isolation of certain devices from the 200 network.
[0187] The determination of the supervisory equipment 400 and / or the determination of backup supervisory devices and / or the determination of substitute supervisory devices can be defined according to a predefined determination frequency fd such that f = l / rd and / or at each update of the global connectivity matrix T.
[0188] According to some embodiments, the supervisory equipment 400 can be configured to receive direct communication messages Md(h) from "offline" communication devices 100-h arranged within its direct radio range, and then to repeat some of the Md(h) messages via the relayed communication mode, so as to transmit them for example to other devices connected to the interconnection network 200 and out of the direct radio range of the device 100-y. In this case, following a given repetition command, the 400 supervisory equipment (for example via a 1040 management module) can be further configured to determine a so-called "repeat message" of relayed communication, noted , from the received direct communication message Md(h) transmitted by the 100-h communication device, the unique identifier i(400) of the 400 supervisory equipment and the determined identifier i(h) associated with the 100-h communication device. The 400 supervision equipment can then be configured to transmit, only according to the relayed communication mode (i.e. only via the 1080 relayed communication module), the message to be repeated for relayed communication.
[0189] In embodiments, the supervisory equipment 400 can be configured to determine a checklist comprising at least one and / or all of the H and Z "offline" devices 100-h and 100-z of the system 10 (included in subsets En and £z), the checklist being determined from the global connectivity matrix T. The supervisory equipment 400 can further be configured to determine a supervisory message denoted M(4oo) from the checklist, and then to issue the supervisory message only according to the mode of Direct communication (for example, only via the 1060 direct communication module of the 400 supervisory equipment if it is a communication device). The supervisory message M(400) can be repeatedly transmitted according to predefined supervisory transmission parameters. For example, a supervisory transmission parameter can be defined by the regular repetition of the transmission of the supervisory message M(40q) based on a predefined supervisory time frequency f (predefined f such that f = 1 / t^) and using an internal clock provided in the 1040 module. The 400 supervisory equipment can further include another supervisory transmission parameter, which can be a checklist update parameter (via prior updating of the global connectivity matrix T) to generate the transmission of the updated supervisory message M(40q).
[0190] In some embodiments, the supervisory equipment 400 may be a device 100-n and include a supervisory unit 1046. The supervisory unit 1046 of the supervisory equipment 400 may include a supervisory clock (not shown in the figures) associated with the internal clock provided in the management module 1040. In addition, the supervisory clock of the supervisory equipment 400 may be linked to the monitoring of one or more devices 100-n disconnected from the network 200. For example, and without limitation, the supervisory clock of the supervisory equipment 400 may be set to 0 (t = 0) and activated when a device 100-n is disconnected from the network 200.
[0191] According to some embodiments, the supervisory clock of the supervisory equipment 400 can also be initialized based on one or more values associated with one or more timestamps ^("+1") relating to the different direct connectivity states and / or timestamps ?T(") relating to the matrices of Elementary connectivity T(„) received. The supervisory clock of the supervisory equipment 400 can also be initialized if any direct communication message (i.e., ^d(n) or ^s(n)), emitted by the device 100-n disconnected from the network 200, is received by the supervisory equipment 400. The supervisory equipment 400 can thus be configured to monitor direct communications associated with the 'natural traffic' of communication between the different devices of the system 10, and to adapt the emission of the supervisory message M(4qo) and / or the time frequency of the supervisory monitoring / v according to this natural traffic.
[0192] In embodiments, the supervisory clock of the supervisory equipment 400 can reach the time value associated with the supervisory frequency, such that T “ then the supervisory message ^4oo) is determined and then emitted.
[0193] In some embodiments, the supervisory message can be determined from the identifiers and each communication device 100-h and 100-z in the checklist. For example, and without limitation, the supervisory message M(400) can include each unique identifier i(400) and i(400) associated with a response index from 1 to (H + Z). For example, this response index can be indicated in the supervisory message M(400) or deduced by message processing.
[0194] In particular, the order of the identifiers in the checklist (i.e., their response index) can depend on the non-establishment time of the direct wireless communication link 110-n(n+l), a non-establishment time being obtained from timestamps, for example. The 400 monitoring equipment can thus be configured to determine the time since a device has been disconnected from direct mode, and to sort the identifiers of devices disconnected from direct mode according to this determined time. For example, a response index h of 1 can be associated with the device that has been disconnected from direct mode for the longest duration.
[0195] According to embodiments, the 400 supervisory equipment can further be configured to perform group communications management, perform optional context sharing(s), and / or implement the sharing of encryption keys for direct and / or relayed communications between some or all of the different 100-n devices.
[0196] Fig. 6 is a flowchart describing the critical wireless communication management process, implemented by a 100-n communication device, for the transmission of a message, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0197] At the 600-E initialization step of the communication device 100-n, the identifier id(n) associated with the direct communication module 1060 of the device 100-n is determined from the unique identification i^ of the relayed communication module 1080 of the device 100-n.
[0198] At step 620-E, the message M0(n) is acquired via the message acquisition module 1020.
[0199] At step 640-E, the message M0(n) is converted into a direct communication message Md according to the direct communication protocol and into a relayed communication message according to the relayed communication protocol.
[0200] At step 660-E, the identified direct communication message Md(n) is determined from the direct communication message Md and the associated identifier id(n).
[0201] At step 680-E, the identified direct communication message Md(n) and the relayed communication message are transmitted synchronously (and therefore by re dondance) respectively via the direct communication mode by the direct communication module 1060 and the relayed communication mode by the relayed communication module 1080.
[0202] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that steps 640-E and 660-E can be carried out simultaneously and / or in a different order, for example a given order defined by management module 1040.
[0203] The [Fig.7] is a flowchart according to embodiments of the invention describing steps of the process of managing wireless communication critical for the reception of a message, implemented by a 100-n communication device.
[0204] At step 620-R, a direct communication message Md(n+1) (or a relayed communication message M^,) issued by a communication device 100-(n+1) is received by the communication device 100-n, via the direct communication mode by the direct communication module 1060 (and / or the relayed communication mode by the relayed communication module 1080).
[0205] At step 640-R, the identifier id(n+i) (and / or the identifier Ln+u) of the communication device 100-(n+l) is determined from identification data of the received message Md(n+1) (or Mr(n+1)).
[0206] At step 660-R, the received message Md(n+1) (and / or Mr(n+1)) is converted into a message Mt to be transmitted to user Un.
[0207] At step 680-R, the message is transmitted via message acquisition module 1020.
[0208] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that steps 640-R and 660-R can be carried out simultaneously and / or in a different order, for example an order defined by management module 1040.
[0209] For the sake of simplicity, the preceding steps of transmitting identified direct communication messages Md(n) can constitute a direct communication step 1060-S implemented in each communication device 100-n according to a direct communication protocol. Similarly, the preceding steps of receiving identified direct communication messages Md(n+1) can constitute the direct communication step 1060-S.
[0210] For the sake of simplicity, the preceding steps of transmitting relayed communication messages Mr(n) can constitute a relayed communication step 1080-S implemented in each communication device 100-n operating according to a relayed communication protocol via an interconnection network 200 (implemented in the communication system). Similarly, the preceding steps of receiving relayed communication messages Mr(n) can constitute the direct communication step 1060-S.
[0211] Figure 8 is a flowchart describing sub-steps of the management process critical wireless communication, implemented by a 100-n communication device, for monitoring the direct 110-n(n+l) wireless communication link with other 100-(n+l) communication devices of the system 10, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0212] At step 700-n, which can be an initialization step of the communication device 100-n for example, the elementary connectivity matrix is determined from the relayed connectivity matrix T, and from the set of direct connectivity states between the devices 100-(n+l) and the device 100-n.
[0213] At step 720-n, a direct communication message Md(n+1) emitted by a communication device 100-(n+1) is received by the communication device 100-n, via the direct communication mode by the direct communication module 1060.
[0214] At step 740-n, the identifier id(n+1) of the communication device 100-(n+1) is determined from identification data of the received message Md(n+1).
[0215] At step 750-n, the direct connectivity state between the device 100-(n+l) and the 100-n device is updated in the elementary connectivity matrix T(„p
[0216] At step 760-n, the relayed connectivity message Mt(„) is determined from the elementary connectivity matrix and the unique identifier i(n) of the device 100-n.
[0217] At step 780-n, the relayed connectivity message is emitted via the direct communication mode by the direct communication module 1060 of the device 100-n.
[0218] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that steps 740-n, 750-n, and 760-n can be carried out simultaneously and / or in a different order, for example an order defined by management module 1040.
[0219] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that the relayed communication stage 1080-S of a communication device 100-n is associated with a relayed connectivity state Er(„) (corresponding to a connection state of the device 100-n with the interconnection network 200. Similarly, the direct communication stage 1060-S of a communication device 100-n is associated with (N - 1) direct connectivity states (corresponding to the direct wireless communication link states of the device 100-n with each of the other devices 100-(n+1) of the set of devices of the system 10.
[0220] Figure 9 is a flowchart describing substeps of the critical wireless communication management process, implemented by a supervisory equipment 400, for monitoring the network connections 200 of the various communication devices nication 100-n and 100-(n+l) of the system 10 and of their states of direct connectivity between them, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0221] At step 700-S, which can be an initialization step of the supervisory equipment 400 for example, the global connectivity matrix T is determined from the connections to the network 200 of the different communication devices 100-n and 100-(n+l) of the system 10, and from the set of direct connectivity states (E,7(„«rt+1) and !«.„)) between the devices 100-(n+l) and the device 100-n.
[0222] At step 720-S, a relayed MT(„) connectivity message issued by a communication device 100-n is received by the supervisory equipment 400, via the relayed communication mode.
[0223] In step 740-S, the identifier id(n) of the communication device 100-n is determined from identification data of the received message
[0224] At step 750-S, the global connectivity matrix T is updated.
[0225] At step 800-S, which can also be an equipment initialization step supervision 400 for example, the checklist including at least one identifier among the identifiers and subsets £h and "offline" devices 100-h and 100-z is determined.
[0226] A person skilled in the art will readily understand that steps 720-S, 740-S, 750-S, and 800-S can be carried out simultaneously and / or in a different order, for example an order defined by the supervisory equipment 400.
[0227] The [Fig. 10] is a flowchart according to embodiments of the invention describing sub-steps of the critical wireless communication management process, implemented by the system 10, for determining the supervisory equipment 400.
[0228] In step 700-D, an initial list comprising K identifiers associated with K communication devices connected to the network 200 is determined. The initial list is determined, in particular, from the set of N identifiers of the devices 100-n of the system and according to the relayed connectivity states Er(„) and the direct connectivity states Ej(„«.n+i) (i.e., according to the overall connectivity matrix T). The initial list of K identifiers can be defined as described by expression (03).
[0229] In step 710-D, for each identifier (associated with a 100-k communication device connected to the 200 network), a number of direct connectivity states is determined. The number of direct connectivity states is determined, in particular, from the direct connectivity states (E^^) (i.e., from the global connectivity matrix T). A direct connectivity state corresponds to the direct wireless communication link state of a communication device. communication 100-k connected to network 200 with a communication device 100-h not connected to network 200. A list of H identifiers associated with H communication devices not connected to network 200 can be defined as described by expression (05).
[0230] At step 720-D, a list of connections is determined from the hierarchical ordering of the K identifiers i(*) as a function of the direct connectivity state numbers ^(^), from a maximum direct connectivity state number X„WA to a minimum direct connectivity state number X,wn.
[0231] At step 730-D, a request for resource information for each 100-k device can be sent via the interconnection network 200. A response message Mg(j) to this request can then be prepared (determined) by each 100-k device connected to the network 200 with identifier from the resource information requested and / or an associated weight value K(k). The response message MR(^j) to the resource information request can then be transmitted to network 200 by each 100-k device connected to network 200.
[0232] At step 740-D, the K MR(^) response messages to the request can be received by the communication center 210. The weight value K(k) can then be determined from the MR(fc) response message, in particular from all or part of the information on the resources of each device 100-k.
[0233] In step 770-D, a weight list is determined from the hierarchical ordering of the K identifiers (or a part of the K identifiers iæ) according to the weight values %), from a maximum weight value Kmax to a minimum weight value Kmtn.
[0234] At step 780-D, a list of priority devices is determined from the hierarchical ordering of the K identifiers i(jt) (or a part of the K identifiers according to the weight list and the connection list.
[0235] At step 790-D, the supervisory device 400 is determined from the list of priority devices.
[0236] Figure 11 is a flowchart describing sub-steps of the management process critical wireless communication, implemented by a supervisory equipment 400, for the supervision of the direct connectivity states between the different communication devices 100-n and 100-(n+l) of the system 10, according to embodiments of the invention.
[0237] At step 800, a 100-n communication device is disconnected from network 200.
[0238] At step 820-S, the checklist includes at least one identifier from among the identifiers and subsets En and E7 of the 100-h "offline" devices and 100-z is updated. In particular, a 100-h device can be disconnected from the 200 network at step 800, the identifier then being added to the checklist.
[0239] At step 840-S, a supervisory clock for the supervisory equipment 400 (for example, linked to the supervision of the device 100-n disconnected from the network 200 at step 800) is set to 0 (r = 0) and activated. In embodiments, the value of the supervisory clock can also be set according to one or more values associated with one or more timestamps f(„+i) relating to the different direct connectivity states and / or timestamps h relating to the matrices of elementary connectivity T(n) received.
[0240] At step 860-S, if the supervisor clock value reaches the time value associated with the supervisor frequency T ~ then the supervisor message ^(400) is determined from the identifiers in the checklist, and then issued via the direct communication mode at step 880-S.
[0241] At step 850-S, if any direct communication message ^d(h) emitted by the device 100-h disconnected from the network 200 at step 800, is received by the supervisory equipment 400, via the direct communication mode, before the supervisory clock linked to the supervision of this device 100-h, reaches a time value associated with the supervisory frequency T ** T-\ then the value of this supervisory clock, is reset to 0 and reactivated.
[0242] The [Fig. 12] is a flowchart according to embodiments of the invention describing substeps of the process of managing wireless communication critical for the reception and transmission of a message, implemented by a 100-n communication device (in particular a 400 supervision equipment).
[0243] At step 920, a direct communication message Md(h) issued by a communication device 100-h (“offline” and arranged within direct radio range of the supervisory equipment 400) is received by the supervisory equipment 400 (being a communication device 100-n, the direct communication message Md(h) is received via the direct communication mode by the direct communication module 1060).
[0244] At step 940, the identifier i^^ of the communication device 100-h is determined from identification data of the message received Md(h) by the supervisory equipment 400.
[0245] At step 960, the message to be repeated of relayed communication M^400) is determined, by the supervisory equipment 400, from the received direct communication message Md(h) transmitted by the device 100-h, the unique identifier i(n) (or i(400)) of the device 100-n (i.e. supervisory equipment 400) and the unique identifier i(h) associated with the device 100-h.
[0246] At step 980, the message to be repeated of relayed communication ^(9 is transmitted via the relayed communication mode by the 1080 relayed communication module of the 400 supervision equipment.
