Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: MOTOR VEHICLE WITH A TRIM TRANSVERSELY PLACED ON A SLIDE OF THE WINDOW FRAME Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of motor vehicles, more particularly the field of trims for the window frame pillars of motor vehicles. Prior art
[0002] Window frame pillar trims play an important role in the overall aesthetics of motor vehicles and perceived quality. Conventionally, trims are attached to a slide arranged along a window frame.
[0003] The published patent document FR 3 098 468 A1 discloses a device for fixing a side edge trim of a motor vehicle door frame, said device comprising an index carried by the trim and is in vertical support against an interface of the slide. The fixing device makes it possible to maintain a fixed vertical position on the slide of the motor vehicle door frame.
[0004] However, the solution disclosed by the document has room for improvement, because the hubcap is not transversely held, which risks causing perceived quality defects and aero-acoustic leaks which could cause inconvenience for the driver and passengers of the motor vehicle. Statement of the invention
[0005] The present invention aims to overcome at least one of the drawbacks of the aforementioned state of the art. More particularly, the invention aims to propose a simple and economical solution making it possible to ensure effective transverse retention of the hubcap on the motor vehicle.
[0006] To this end, the invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising at least one door comprising: - a window frame; - a slide with a lip seal arranged along an upper crosspiece of the window frame; - a trim for a window frame upright, comprising a wall and an element projecting from an inner face of said wall and engaging with an opening in an extension of the slide; remarkable in that the projecting element forms a hook engaging with a rear face of the slide extension, adjacent to the opening.
[0007] According to one embodiment, the rear face of the extension of the slide is parallel to the window.
[0008] According to one embodiment, the hook formed by the projecting element comprises an inner face contacting the rear face of the extension of the slide, said inner face forming an opening angle with the wall.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the opening angle is between 5° and 15°.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the extension of the slide comprises a surface of guiding the projecting element during its introduction into the opening, said guide surface being inclined relative to a perpendicular to the opening, so as to engage the hook with the rear face of the extension of the slide.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the inclination of the guide surface is between 10° and 20°.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the wall has an upper edge adjacent to a corresponding edge on the slide.
[0013] According to one embodiment, the hook extends vertically along a height corresponding to at least 80% of a height of the opening.
[0014] According to one embodiment, the hook comprises a width extending in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and over at least 70% of a width of the opening.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the hook and the wall of the trim form a slot comprising a U-shaped cross-section, said slot enveloping an upper edge of the opening.
[0016] The measures of the invention are advantageous in that the projecting element forming the hook makes it possible to engage with the extension of the slide so as to ensure transverse support of the trim by exerting a pressing force on the slide, thus the trim is firmly and durably pressed against the slide.
[0017] To this end, the perceived quality is improved and the risks linked to a delamination of the hubcap are avoided, for example, the hubcap of the motor vehicle of the invention does not emit any aero-acoustic noise.
[0018] Furthermore, the solution is economical and does not involve any additional manufacturing costs, and the assembly of the hubcap on the slide of the motor vehicle is simple and quick. Brief description of the drawings

[0021] [Fig.3] shows a cross-sectional view of an engagement of the hubcap with the extension of the slide;
[0022] [Fig.4] shows a cross-sectional view of the hubcap in an engaged position with the slide extension. Detailed description
[0023] [Fig.l] represents a perspective view of a motor vehicle 2 according to the invention.
[0024] The motor vehicle 2 comprises at least one door 4 comprising a window frame 6 and a trim 8 of an upright of said window frame 6. Preferably, the motor vehicle 2 comprises several doors 4, and each of said doors 4 may comprise one or more trims 8 of the window frame 6.
[0025] [Fig. 2] represents a perspective view of the trim 8 of [Fig. 1], this being in particular the rear trim 8 arranged at the level of the right rear door 4 of the motor vehicle 2 of [Fig. 1].
[0026] An internal part of the trim 8 can be seen with a slide 10 of an upper crosspiece 6.1 of the window frame 6 (illustrated in [Fig.l]).
[0027] The slide 10 comprises an extension 12 provided with an opening 12.1. The trim 8 comprises a wall 14 and a projecting element 16 extending from an inner face 14.1 of said wall 14.
[0028] In this configuration, the projecting element 16 forms a hook 16.1 engaging with the opening 12.1 in the extension 12 of the slide 10. [Fig.3] shows the hook 16.1 in a position engaged with a rear face 12.2 of the extension 12. Preferably, the rear face 12.2 is parallel to the window of the motor vehicle.
[0029] Preferably, the hook 16.1 extends substantially vertically along a height a corresponding to at least 80% of a height b of the opening 12.1, more preferably, the height a corresponds to approximately 90% (±5%) of the height b. The hook 16.1 comprises a width c extending along a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and over at least 70% of a width d of the opening 12.1. More preferably, the width c corresponds to approximately 90% (±5%) of the width d.
[0030] Advantageously, the hook 16.1 of the projecting element 16 makes it possible to press the trim 8 onto the slide 10 so as to ensure lasting transverse retention of said trim on the door frame of the motor vehicle.
[0031] Figures 3 and 4 illustrate, in two stages, the engagement of the projecting element 16 of the trim 8 in the opening 12.1.
[0032] With reference to [Fig.3] shows a cross-sectional view of an engagement of the hubcap 8 with the extension 12 of the slide 10.
[0033] An arrow A represents a manual translational movement of the trim 8 allowing the projecting element 16 to be inserted transversely into the opening 12.1. In this respect, the extension 12 of the slide comprises a guide surface 12.3 preferably inclined relative to a perpendicular to the opening 12.1 by an angle [3 between 5° and 30°, and more preferably between 10° and 20°.
[0034] This makes it easier to guide the projecting element 16 and to orient the trim 8 beforehand so as to facilitate the engagement of the hook 16.1 with the rear face 12.2 of the extension 12.
[0035] The slide 10 comprises a lip seal 10.1 arranged along the upper cross member 6.1 of [Fig.l]. When the trim 8 is engaged, the seal 10.1 is compressed by the inner face 14.1 at an upper edge 8.1 of the trim.
[0036] [Fig.4] represents a cross-sectional view of the trim 8 in a position engaged with the extension 12 of the slide 10. Here an arrow B represents a substantially vertical engagement movement making it possible to bring an inner face 16.2 of the hook 16.1 into contact with the rear face 12.2 of the extension 12.
[0037] Preferably, the inner face 16.2 forms an opening angle a with the wall 14 of the trim 8. The opening angle a is preferably between 5° and 30°, and more preferably between 5° and 15°.
[0038] Advantageously, following the vertical engagement B, the upper edge 8.1 of the wall 14 becomes adjacent, or even glued, to a corresponding edge 10.2 of the slide 10. In this configuration, the hook 16.1 and the wall 14 form a slot 18 comprising a U-shaped cross-section, the slot 18 envelops an upper edge 12.4 of the opening 12.1.
[0039] Thus, the opening angle a of the inner face 16.2 promotes jamming of the hook 16.1 with the extension 12, so as to hold the trim 8 transversely in the engaged position. The lip seal 10.1 also helps to press the inner face 16.2 against the rear face 12.2.
[0040] Advantageously, the hubcap 8 of the motor vehicle of the invention is firmly and durably pressed against the slide 10, so as to improve the perceived quality and avoid the emission of aero-acoustic noise.
