Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Capsule for the care of keratinous materials and mask containing it technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a product for the care of keratinous materials. In particular, the present invention relates to a keratinous material care capsule and a mask containing it. The present invention also relates to a non-therapeutic method for the care of keratinous materials. RELATED ART
[0002] The ultimate goal of the cosmetics industry has always been to deliver highly effective products to consumers with skin benefits such as hydration, brightening, cleansing, and others.
[0003] Some cosmetic active ingredients used to care for keratinous materials are sensitive to water.
[0004] Existing products focus on a waterless cosmetic base or complicated packaging to avoid any contact with water.
[0005] It is not practical to apply certain products because of their complex packaging.
[0006] We therefore seek to develop a new product capable of protecting water-sensitive cosmetic active ingredients from water or humidity with easy application on keratinous materials. Summary of the invention
[0007] An objective of the present invention is to provide a keratin material care product that can protect water-sensitive cosmetic active ingredients from contact with water or moisture with easy application on keratin materials.
[0008] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a non-therapeutic method for the care of keratinous materials.
[0009] Consequently, in a first aspect, the present invention proposes a capsule for the care of keratinous materials, comprising:
[0010] a) an anhydrous inner core comprising at least one water-sensitive cosmetic active ingredient and
[0011] b) a water-soluble film enveloping the inner core,
[0012] in which the water-soluble film has a thickness between 25 and 40 sqm.
[0013] In the capsule according to the present invention, the water-sensitive cosmetic active ingredient is stable at room temperature, 4°C, 37°C, 45°C and 55°C for at least 2 months, and under a temperature cycle of -20 °C to 20 °C for at least 24 hours because there is no water in the anhydrous inner core.
[0014] In addition, due to the presence of the water-soluble film, consumers can use tap water, tonic water or a spray bottle to dissolve the capsule.
[0015] Depending on the water-sensitive cosmetic active ingredient contained in the capsule, the capsule according to the present invention can be used to care for keratinous materials.
[0016] In a second aspect, the present invention proposes a treatment mask for keratinous materials, comprising:
[0017] A) a water-insoluble mask fabric and
[0018] B) the capsule according to the present invention integrated into the water-insoluble mask fabric.
[0019] In a third aspect, the present invention provides a non-therapeutic method for the care of keratinous materials comprising dissolving the capsule as described above in water or a toner to obtain a composition and applying the composition to the keratinous materials.
[0020] In the fourth aspect, the present invention proposes a non-therapeutic method for the treatment of keratinous materials, comprising the following steps:
[0021] (i) the addition of water or toner to the mask according to the present invention to dissolve the capsule;
[0022] (ii) the application of the mask to keratinous materials;
[0023] (iii) leaving the mask on the keratinous materials for a certain time and
[0024] (iv) the removal of the mask from keratinous materials.
[0025] Other features and advantages of the invention will become more apparent from the description and examples that follow. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Compatibility
[0172] Compatibility was assessed as follows:
[0173] 1) Place the prepared capsules at 4°C, at room temperature (25°C), 37°C, 45°C ❖C, 55 ^C, 45 ❖C / SO % humidity, and by making temperature cycles from -20 to 20 ^C, respectively;
[0174] 2) check the appearance and color of the capsules after 2 months.
[0175] Aspect: it is acceptable if there is no maturation or fusion.
[0176] Colour: It is acceptable if there is no colour change or a slight color change, and it is not acceptable if the color changes from transparent to brownish.
[0177] Compatibility will be classified as "Successful" if the appearance and color are acceptable after two months of storage at all test temperatures, otherwise it will be classified as "Failed".
[0178] The results on the stability and compatibility of each capsule prepared above have been summarized in Table 4.
