[0020] The implementation of the present invention is explained below according to Figures 1 to 4. The description is an example of the embodiments of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the implementation of the present invention. Furthermore, the same or similar reference numerals in the figures and embodiments are parts or elements that are the same, equivalent, or have the same function. The figures are all simplified and are not drawn to scale in all embodiments.

[0021] Referring to [Fig.l], a block diagram of an extraction system for a functional peptide extract according to one embodiment of the present invention is shown.The extraction system for a functional peptide extract 100 of the present invention comprises: a raw material tank 110 for storing a mollusk shell powder; a solvent tank 120 for storing a solvent; a mixing tank 130 connected to both the raw material tank 110 and the solvent tank 120, the shell powder and the solvent flowing into the mixing tank 130 and being mixed therein to form a mixture; a high-temperature and high-pressure extraction device 140 connected to the mixing tank 130, the mixture flowing into the high-temperature and high-pressure extraction device 140 and being extracted under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions to obtain a crude extract; and a filtration device 150 connected to the high-temperature and high-pressure extraction equipment 140 for filtering the crude extract to isolate a peptide extract.The peptide extract can be incorporated into creams, ointments, cosmetics or skin care products.

[0022] The isolated peptide extract of the present invention has the following effects:

[0023] (1) Whitening:

[0024] (A) Decrease in melanin production: Using melanoma cells of B16F10 mice as an experimental model, melanin production was decreased by 36% when a peptide extract of concentration 4mg / mL was added, which was close to a negative control group consisting of adding 10 μg / mL of Arbutin; melanin production was decreased by 49% when a peptide extract of concentration 8mg / mL was added. The experimental results are shown in Table 1 below: Group Positive control group Negative control group Experimental group Added peptide extract (mg / mL) 2 4 8 16 Cell activity (%) 100+26 84+22 86+28 83+19 60+8 9.0+10 Melanin (%) 100+3 62+0.8 80+4.0 65+0.8 51+2.6 60+6.5

[0025] Table 1: Effects on B16F10 cell activity and melanin production after stimulation with 10 nM a-MSH, of different concentrations of peptide extract (cellular activity and melanin production are indicated in (%), i.e. the percentage of the experimental group compared to the positive control group) (n=3, mean ± standard deviation).

[0026] (B) Reduction of the effects of tyrosinase: the peptide extract has no effect of tyrosinase decrease at a solids concentration of 0.2 ~ 0.8 mg / mL, and begins to have a tyrosinase decrease effect at around a solids concentration of 1.6 mg / mL, with the effect becoming more significant as the concentration increases. At a peptide extract solids concentration of 9.0 mg / mL (100% stock solution), the tyrosinase decrease rate reaches 55.77%.

[0027] (2) Has a restorative effect on epidermis-forming cells after an ex UVA position: Using HaCaT (human keratin-forming cell line) as an experimental model to evaluate the protective effect of HaCaT cells under UVA. The experimental results show that when the peptide extract is not added, the cellular activity of HaCaT cells after UVA exposure for 1 hour (exposure energy 20 J) is reduced by 18.6% compared with the group not exposed to UVA; when 2 mg / mL of peptide extract is added to the cell culture medium, the HaCaT cells are protected such that the cellular activity is reduced by 10.1%; when 4 mg / mL of peptide extract is added to the cell culture medium, the HaCaT cells are protected such that that cellular activity is reduced by only 7.1%, which means a protective effect of 45.7% and 62.8% respectively.

[0028] (3) Anti-aging:

[0029] (A) Promoting effect of type I procollagen production: the addition of a Peptide extract at a concentration of 2 mg / mL ~ 8 mg / mL (w / v) has a promoting effect on the formation of type I procollagen of Hs68 fibroblast. When the concentration of the added peptide extract is 8 mg / mL (w / v), there is a 56.8% increase (compared to the control group) in the formation rate of type I procollagen. The experimental results are shown in Table 2 below: Control group Experimental group Added peptide extract (mg / mL) 2 4 8 Increase in type I procollagen formation rate (%) 0.0 5.9 16.7 56.8

[0030] Table 2: Effects on the increase in the formation rate (%) of type I procollagen in Hs68 cells of different concentrations of peptide extract (compared to the control group).

[0031] (B) Decrease in decomposition by the enzyme MMP-1: photoaging of The effect of UV light on the skin is mainly due to UV light inducing active oxygen, causing an increase in the formation of, for example, Matrix Metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1, a collagenase), which degrades collagen and elastin in the extracellular matrix, causing wrinkles or even sagging of the skin. The experimental results on the peptide extract of the present invention show that the addition of the peptide extract with a concentration above 2 mg / mL provides a decreasing effect on the MMP-1 performance of human fibroblast Hs68. When the concentration of the added peptide extract is 4.0 mg / mL (w / v), the decrease rate of MMP-1 performance is about 50% (compared with the control group). The experimental results are shown in Table 3 below: Control group Experimental group Added peptide extract (mg / mL) 2 4 8 16 Rate of decrease (%) 0.0 20.4 50.9 78.2 97.8

[0032] Table 3: Effects on the rate of decrease (%) of MMP-1 performance in Hs68 cells of different concentrations of peptide extract (compared with the control group)

[0033] In addition, the peptide extract also passed the following tests:

[0034] (1) Heavy metal test: Test carried out on the peptide extract for arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, etc. The results show that arsenic, lead, cadmium and mercury are not found;

[0035] (2) Total bacterial count test: Test carried out on the peptide extract using a differential medium. The results show that bacteria that should not be detected under legislation and regulations, such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, are not found;

[0036] (3) In vitro skin irritation test: Carrying out a skin irritation test on the peptide extract according to the guidelines of the OECD TG 439 skin irritation test. The result is non-irritant (NI);

[0037] (4) In vitro eye irritation test: Carrying out an eye irritation test on the peptide extract according to the guidelines of the OECD TG 492 eye irritation test. The result is non-irritant (NI);
