Abstract

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ANTI-ALIZING OBJECTS IN AN AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCE The methods, apparatus and technical embodiments localize objects using anti-aliasing such as for rendering an object with an effect for a virtual test experience (VTO).An example system includes a nail localization engine with computing circuitry for localizing one or more nail objects in an input image of a hand or foot via one or more deep neural networks, wherein the one or more deep neural networks are configured for anti-aliasing in each of the encoder and decoder components; and a rendering component with computing circuitry for rendering an output image simulating a nail product or nail service applied to the one or more nail objects, in response to the localization by the nail localization engine, to provide a virtual trial experience (VTO). In one embodiment, the respective blur operators in each of the encoders and decoders scatter values ​​to neighboring regions to counteract the offset variance. Figure for abstract: none.
