Abstract

HAIR GEL CREAM COMPOSITION, HAIR TREATMENT METHOD AND USE OF A HAIR GEL CREAM COMPOSITION The present invention relates to a hair gel cream composition comprising: (a) at least one organic acid; (b) a non-aqueous solvent comprising at least one compound with at least one hydroxyl group selected from polyols, C2-C6 monoalcohols, and mixtures thereof, wherein the polyol is selected from propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, glycerin, and mixtures thereof; (c) at least one amino acid; (d) at least one fatty compound selected from vegetable oils, vegetable resins, vegetable waxes, and mixtures thereof; (e) a surfactant system comprising at least one cationic surfactant, at least one nonionic surfactant, or mixtures thereof;(f) at least one polymer selected from sclerotium gum, xanthan gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropyltrimonium guar chloride, biosaccharide-4 gum, gellan gum, and mixtures thereof; (g) at least one cosmetic agent; and (h) at least one ester. Claims

Claims

1. A cream gel hair composition comprising: (a) at least one organic acid; (b) a non-aqueous solvent comprising at least one compound with at least one hydroxyl group selected from polyols, C2 to C6 monoalcohols and mixtures thereof, wherein the polyol is selected from propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, glycerin and mixtures thereof; (c) at least one amino acid; (d) at least one fatty compound selected from vegetable oils, vegetable resins, vegetable waxes and mixtures thereof; (e) a surfactant system comprising at least one cationic surfactant, at least one non-ionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof; (f) at least one polymer selected from sclerotium gum, xanthan gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, biosaccharide gum-4, gellan gum and a mixture thereof; (g) at least one cosmetic agent;and (h) at least one ester.;

2. A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of (e) the at least one surfactant in the surfactant system is between 0.05% and 20.0% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.

3. A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of (f) the at least one polymer is between 0.05% and 3.0% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.

4. A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, wherein (g) at least one cosmetic agent is stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, caprylic / capric triglyceride, Butyrospermum parkii butter, brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine or a mixture thereof.

5. A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of (g) of the at least one cosmetic agent is between 0.05% and 3.0% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.

6. A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, wherein (h) the at least one ester is selected from coco- caprylate / caprate, isoamyl caprylate / caprate, isoamyl cocoate, isopropyl palmitate, isoamyl stearate and mixtures thereof.

7. A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, wherein the amount of (h) the at least one ester is between 0.05% and 5.0% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.

A cream gel hair composition according to claim 1, comprising: (a) from 0.1% to 5.0% by weight of at least one organic acid selected from tartaric acid, lactic acid, glutaric acid, etidronic acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, citric acid and mixtures thereof; (b) from 0.1% to 20.0% by weight of a non-aqueous solvent comprising at least one compound with at least one hydroxyl group selected from polyols, C2 to C6 monoalcohols, and mixtures thereof, wherein the polyol is selected from propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, glycerin and mixtures thereof; (c) from 0.1% to 10.0% by weight of at least one amino acid selected from arginine, glycine and mixtures thereof; (d) from 0.1% to 9.0% by weight of at least one fatty compound chosen from vegetable oils, vegetable resins, vegetable waxes and their mixtures; (e) from 0.05% to 20.0% by weight of a surfactant system selected from at least one cationic surfactant, at least one non-ionic surfactant, or mixtures thereof; (f) from 0.05% to 3.0% by weight of at least one polymer selected from sclerotium gum, xanthan gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, biosaccharide gum-4, gellan gum and mixtures thereof; (g) from 0.05% to 3.0% by weight of at least one cosmetic agent selected from stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, caprylic / capric triglyceride, Butyrospermum parkii butter, brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine and mixtures thereof; and (h) from 0.05% to 5.0% by weight of at least one ester selected from coco-caprylate / caprate, isoamyl caprylate / caprate, isoamyl cocoate, isopropyl palmitate, isoamyl stearate and mixtures thereof; all weights being based on the total weight of the composition.

A method of treating hair, in particular curly hair, wherein it comprises the steps of: (1) bringing the hair into contact with a cream gel hair composition comprising: (a) at least one organic acid; (b) a non-aqueous solvent comprising at least one compound with at least one hydroxyl group selected from polyols, C2 to C6 monoalcohols, and mixtures thereof, wherein the polyol is selected from propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, glycerin and mixtures thereof; (c) at least one amino acid; (d) at least one fatty compound chosen from vegetable oils, vegetable resins, vegetable waxes and their mixtures; (e) a surfactant system comprising at least one cationic surfactant, at least one non-ionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof; (f) at least one polymer selected from sclerotium gum, xanthan gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, biosaccharide gum-4, gellan gum and mixtures thereof; (g) at least one cosmetic agent; and (h) at least one ester; (2) optionally rinsing the composition after a period of time.

Use of a cream gel hair composition, for the preparation of a cream gel product for improving the durability of definition without build-up with cosmetic feel, shine, volume and frizz control, wherein the cream gel hair composition comprises: (a) at least one organic acid; (b) a non-aqueous solvent comprising at least one compound with at least one hydroxyl group selected from polyols, C2 to C6 monoalcohols, and mixtures thereof, wherein the polyol is selected from propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, butylene glycol, pentylene glycol, hexylene glycol, glycerin and mixtures thereof; (c) at least one amino acid; (d) at least one fatty compound chosen from vegetable oils, vegetable resins, vegetable waxes and their mixtures; (e) a surfactant system comprising at least one surfactant ca tionic, at least one nonionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof; (f) at least one polymer selected from sclerotium gum, xanthan gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, biosaccharide gum-4, gellan gum and a mixture thereof; (g) at least one cosmetic agent; and (h) at least one ester.
