Abstract

Synthesis process for a nickel-ruthenium heterostructured catalyst, comprising a single step of mixing, stirring and heating a nickel salt and a ruthenium salt in a solvent, the Ru / Ni molar ratio being between 0.5% and 10%, the heterostructured catalyst comprising at the end of the synthesis heterogeneous nanoparticles composed of nickel nanoparticles aggregated together and decorated on the surface by ruthenium nanoparticles which are therefore in contact with the aggregated nickel nanoparticles, the surface ruthenium nanoparticles being smaller than the aggregated nickel nanoparticles, the metallic percentage of ruthenium on the surface of the heterogeneous nanoparticles being greater than the total percentage of ruthenium in the heterogeneous nanoparticles.
