Description

Title of the invention: Arrangement for a motor vehicle.

[0001] The invention relates to an arrangement comprising a fixing bracket for a cable or pipe of a motor vehicle. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such an arrangement.

[0002] Automobile manufacturers are developing vehicles with reduced overhang compared to the overhangs of previous vehicles.

[0003] In addition, to reduce development costs, thermal vehicle platforms are reused to produce electric or hybrid vehicles.

[0004] However, the installation of new components (including, for example, a high-voltage battery and a charging socket) in a pre-existing vehicle structure presents constraints on the spatial arrangement of these new elements. [0028] [Fig. 13] is a fourth illustration of a step of a method of mounting an arrangement according to the invention.

[0029] An embodiment of a motor vehicle 100 according to the invention is described below with reference to [Fig.l]. The motor vehicle 100 is a motor vehicle of any type, in particular a passenger vehicle or a utility vehicle.

[0030] For the purposes of the description, and with reference to [Fig.2], a direct orthonormal reference frame R0, with axes X, Y, Z, conventionally used in automobile design, is used, in which - the X axis designates the front-rear longitudinal direction of the vehicle, facing backwards, - the Y axis designates the transverse direction and is oriented towards the right of the vehicle, and - the Z axis designates the vertical direction, and is oriented upwards.

[0031] The motor vehicle 100 comprises an electric powertrain. In one embodiment, the motor vehicle 100 is an all-electric vehicle. Alternatively, the motor vehicle 100 could be a hybrid vehicle.

[0032] In one embodiment, the structure of the platform used to construct the motor vehicle 100 is mainly taken from a thermal vehicle structure, referred to in the remainder of the document as CMFB-ICE. In particular, the side members, the apron and the apron reinforcement cross member of the motor vehicle 100 according to the invention are identical to the side members, apron and apron reinforcement cross member implemented in the CMFB-ICE platform.

[0033] In the embodiment presented in the remainder of the document, the structure of the motor vehicle 100 does not undergo any modification. In other words, the structure of the motor vehicle is not modified by the installation of new pipes or wiring and their fixing in connection with the installation of an electric powertrain.

[0034] On the other hand, a zone called "tunnel zone", usually present and used on thermal vehicles for the installation of the exhaust and the pollution control devices (which are not fitted to all-electric vehicles) has been modified. Advantageously, the dimensions of the tunnel zone have been reduced to save space. The tunnel zone thus modified makes it possible to house a high-voltage water heater 64 transmitting heat to water passing through a radiator 65 of the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle 100. In other words, the presence of the water heater 64 in the tunnel zone is necessary to provide heating in the passenger compartment zone. Indeed, unlike a vehicle which would have been designed from an electric vehicle architecture, the passenger compartment of a vehicle according to the invention does not include a thermal resistance making it possible to heat the passenger compartment. The presence of a water heater 64 also requires the position of the tunnel zone to be moved back as far as possible in the vehicle, in order to reduce the risks caused by an impact which would damage the water heater 64.

[0035] The connection of the radiator 65 of the passenger compartment to the water heater 64 located in the engine compartment requires the installation of a passage of water pipes between the engine compartment area and the tunnel 2.

[0036] Furthermore, in the described embodiment, the charging socket of the motor vehicle 100 is located on a front wing of the vehicle. In addition, the high-voltage battery 61 is located under the body of the vehicle and various interfaces from the high-voltage battery 61 to other components of the vehicle pass through the tunnel 2: water pipes 43, 44 respectively connecting the water heater 64 and the cooling circuit of the battery 62 to the radiator 65 of the passenger compartment, 12 Volt wiring connecting the high-voltage battery 61 of the motor vehicle 100 to a battery management computer 63, and wiring for connecting the battery 61 with a charging socket 69 circulating from the charging socket 69 through the engine compartment and then descending in the tunnel zone towards the high-voltage battery 61.

[0037] Furthermore, a brake assist system 68 is also arranged in the engine compartment. Two rigid pipes 41, 42 for actuating the rear brakes pass through the engine area and then travel through the tunnel area to reach the rear wheels of the vehicle. The brake pipes for the front wheels also run through the engine compartment in this same area.

[0038] In order not to create new interfaces on the elements taken from the CMFB-ICE platform, in particular on the side members 52, the apron 53 and the reinforcement cross member of the front apron, the vehicle comprises an arrangement 50 comprising a fixing part 1, the fixing part 1 making it possible to fix the cables and pipes of a set of equipment 60 of the motor vehicle 100.

[0039] The invention relates to an arrangement 50, comprising: - a fixing part 1, - a cross member 51 for reinforcing an apron 53 of a motor vehicle 100, - at least one first wiring 45, 46 intended to connect a charging socket 69 of the motor vehicle 100 to a high-voltage battery 61 of the motor vehicle 100, the fixing part 1 being fixed to the apron cross member 51 and comprising a first fixing zone 114 for the at least one wiring 45, 46.

[0040] In one embodiment, the arrangement 50 further comprises a pipe or second wiring, the given pipe or second wiring 41, 42, 43, 44 being distinct from the at least one first wiring 45, 46, and the fixing part 1 comprises at least one second fixing zone for the pipe or second wiring 41, 42, 43, 44.

[0041] The term "fixing zone" is used to designate a surface portion of the fixing part 1 which comprises an arrangement contributing to fixing a pipe or wiring. The arrangement may simply be a surface portion serving as a support, and / or at least one hole made in the surface portion, and / or a threaded axis and / or a centering pin fixed to the surface portion. Other embodiments of the fixing part, in particular of the arrangement, are also possible.

[0042] In one embodiment, the motor vehicle 100 may advantageously comprise an assembly 60 comprising the following equipment: - a high-voltage battery 61, - a battery cooling circuit 62, - a high-voltage battery management computer 63, - a water heater 64, - a passenger compartment equipped with a radiator 65, - a right front brake 66, a left front brake 67, and a brake assist system 68.

[0043] The assembly 60 further comprises an arrangement 50 comprising the following wiring and pipes: - a first and a second brake fluid pipe 41, 42 respectively connecting a right front brake 66 and a left front brake 67 of the motor vehicle 100 to a braking assistance system 68 of the motor vehicle 100, - a third and a fourth heat transfer fluid pipe 43, 44 respectively connecting a water heater 64 of the motor vehicle 100 and a cooling circuit 62 of a high voltage battery 61 of the motor vehicle 100 to a radiator 65 of a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle 100, - first and second wiring 45, 46 connecting a charging socket 69 of the motor vehicle 100 to the high-voltage battery 61, - a third wiring 47 connecting the high voltage battery 61 to a computer 63 for managing the high voltage battery 61. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the fixing part 1 comprises fixing means 1111, 1112, 1121, 1122, 1123, 1131, 1132, 1133, 1141, 1142, 1151, 1211, 1212, 1221, 1222 for each pipe taken from among the first, second, third and fourth pipes and for each wiring taken from among the first, second and third wirings.

[0044] The third wiring 47 allows the battery management computer 63 to retrieve information relating to the battery, for example the charge level of the battery 61.

[0045] In the remainder of the document, the term "fixing part" designates a part intended to arrange at least one pipe or wiring in a given fixing zone of a motor vehicle. Advantageously, a fixing part simplifies the mounting of the at least one pipe or wiring in the given zone.

[0046] The “fixing part 1” or “part 1” is a part designed for - on the one hand be fixed to the reinforcement crosspiece 51 of the front shield 53 of the motor vehicle 100, and - on the other hand provide fixing zones 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 121, 122 for pipes and wiring, in particular for the first, second, third and fourth pipes, as well as the first, second and third wiring.

[0047] In a preferred embodiment, the fixing part 1 comprises: - a first part 11 comprising a first fixing zone 114, the first part 11 being directly fixed to the crosspiece 51 reinforcing the deck 53, and - a second part 12 fixed to the crosspiece 51 reinforcing the deck 53 by means of the first part 11, the second part comprising a second fixing zone 122 for a given pipe or wiring, in particular the pipe or wiring given being a passenger compartment heater hose and / or a battery cooling hose.

[0048] In the embodiment described by figures 6 to 8, the fixing part 1 comprises - a first part 11, also called “main part 11” comprising six substantially planar surfaces SI 11, SI 12, SI 13, SI 14, SI 15, SI 16 located respectively in six planes PI 11, PI 12, PI 13, PI 14, PI 15 and PI 16, and - a second part 12, also called “additional part 12”, mainly comprising two substantially planar surfaces S121, S122 located respectively in two planes P121 and P122. In one embodiment, the planes P121 and P122 form an obtuse angle between them.

[0049] In one embodiment, the fixing part 1 is made of stamped sheet metal. In one embodiment, at least one surface SI 15 of the fixing part comprises a stamping, i.e. a groove, to increase its rigidity.

[0050] The fixing part 1 is described with reference to the reference (X, Y, Z) in a configuration where it is mounted on the cross member 51 of the motor vehicle 100. In this configuration, a surface S111 of the main part 11 of the fixing part 1 is in contact with an upper face 511 of the cross member 51, the upper face 511 of the cross member 51 itself being substantially parallel to a plane (X, Y). In particular, the surface S111 is placed on the upper face 511 of the cross member 51. The presence of holes 1111, 1112 passing through the surface SI 11 makes it possible to fix the main part 11 of the fixing part 1 to the cross member 51, in particular by bolts as illustrated in [Fig. 5]. The surface SI 11 therefore provides a fixing zone 110 of the part 1 to the cross member 51.

[0051] The fixing of the surface S111 thus determines the position of the other surfaces S112 to S116 of the main part 11 of the fixing part 1 in the vehicle 100. In addition, as will be described later in the document, the surface S121 of the additional part 12 is fixed to the surface S114 of the main part 11. The fixing of the surface S111 thus determines the position of the surfaces S121 and S122 of the additional part 12 of the fixing part 1.

[0052] In the described embodiment, the surfaces SI 12, SI 13, SI 14, SI 16, S121 and S122 have the function of providing fixing areas, for at least one pipe or at least one wiring of the motor vehicle 100, to the cross member 51 by means of the fixing part 1.

[0053] First of all, the fixing areas for pipe or cable provided by the surfaces SI 12, SI 13, SI 14, SI 16 of the main part 11 of the fixing part 1 are described.

[0054] The surface SI 12 is defined according to a plane PI 12 parallel to a first surface 531 of the shield 53, the first surface 531 being located at the edge of a recess of the shield 53. The surface SI 12 is intended to be placed in abutment on the first surface 531 of the shield 53. On the surface SI 12 there is a first fixing zone 112 for pipe or cable, the fixing zone 112 comprising a fixing means, in particular an oblong hole 1121.

[0055] The planes PI 13 and PI 14, containing the surfaces SI 13 and SI 14, are substantially parallel to a plane (Y, Z).

[0056] The surface SI 13, defined according to the plane PI 13, is a tab connecting the surface SI 12 to the surface SI 11. The surface SI 13 runs along the surface of the shield 53. The surface SI 13 comprises a second fixing zone 119 for pipe or cable, containing a threaded rod 1121 intended to fix the first and second brake fluid pipe 41, 42, for example, by means of a fixing clip 1122. The fixing clip 1122 is more particularly intended to equip a vehicle whose steering column is on the left.

[0057] In one embodiment, the second attachment area 119 for pipe or cable further comprises a round hole 1123 intended to attach one or more brake fluid pipes of a vehicle whose steering column is located on the right.

[0058] Similarly, the surface SI 14, defined according to the plane PI 14, is a large surface connecting the surface SI 11 to the surface SI 15. The surface SI 14 runs along a vertical face of the shield reinforcement crosspiece 51. The surface S114 comprises a third fixing zone 113 for pipe or cable, containing an oblong hole 1131, a square hole 1132 and a stud 1133. The oblong hole 1131 is intended to collaborate with a male fixing means for fixing the third wiring 47 connecting the high voltage battery 61 to the battery management computer 63. The square hole 1132 and the stud 1133 are intended to collaborate with structures of the additional part 12 for its fixing to the main part 11, as will be repeated later in this document.

[0059] The surface SI 15 extends the main part 11 in the direction of the tunnel 2 intended to contain the water heater 64. The surface SI 15 comprises a groove also called a “stamped” for the consolidation of the main part 11. The surface SI 15 does not comprise a fixing zone. On the other hand, the surface SI 15 connects the surface SI 16 to the surface SI 14. The shape of the surface SI 15, its dimensions and the reinforcement of its structure, in particular by a groove, make it possible to arrange the surface SI 16 in the tunnel 2.

[0060] The surface SI 15 is thus extended by the surface SI 16 which extends inside the tunnel 2. The surface SI 16 is divided into two fixing zones for pipe or cable, - a fourth fixing zone 114, comprising a stud 1141 and a screw 1142 capable of collaborating with a means of fixing the first and second wiring 45, 46 connecting the charging socket to the high voltage battery 61, and - a fifth fixing zone 115 comprising an oblong hole 1151 also capable of collaborating with a means of fixing another wiring, for example a means of fixing a high voltage wiring of smaller section. In the proposed view the oblong hole 1151 is not used.

[0061] The fixing zones provided by the surfaces S121 and S122 of the additional part 12 of the fixing part 1 are then described.

[0062] The surface S121 comprises a sixth fixing zone 121, which collaborates with the third fixing zone 113 of the main part 11, in particular - the curved end 1211 of the additional part 12 collaborates with the square hole 1132 of the main part, and - the round hole 1212 of the additional part 1212 collaborates with the nipple 1133 of the main part 11.

[0063] The surface S122 comprises a seventh fixing zone 122 comprising a hole round 1221 and substantially oblong hole 1222 intended to collaborate with a male fixing means for fixing water pipes 43, 44 respectively connecting the water heater 64 and the cooling circuit of the battery 62 to the radiator 65 of the passenger compartment.

[0064] The invention further relates to a method of assembling a motor vehicle comprising - a step El of fixing the first part 11 of the fixing piece 1 on the reinforcement crosspiece 51, then - a step E2 of installing the braking assistance system and fixing the first and second brake fluid pipes on the first part 11 of the fixing part 1, then - a step E4 of fixing the second part 12 of the fixing part 1 on the first part 11 of the fixing part 1, - a step E5 of fixing the third and fourth pipes 43, 44 on the second part 12 of the fixing part.

[0065] The assembly method is described below with reference to Figs 9 to 13.

[0066] In a step E1 of fixing the first part 11 of the fixing piece 1 on the reinforcing crosspiece 51, the surface S111 of the main part 11 of the fixing piece 1 is placed in contact with the upper face 511 of the crosspiece 51, the upper face 511 of the crosspiece 51 itself being substantially parallel to a plane (X, Y). In particular, the surface S111 is placed on the upper face 511 of the crosspiece 51. Advantageously, bolts passing through the crosspiece and the holes 1111, 1112 passing through the surface S111 make it possible to fix the main part 11 of the fixing piece 1 to the crosspiece 51.

[0067] Then in a step E2 of installing the brake assist system, a preparation table is advantageously used upstream of the assembly to arrange the rigid brake fluid pipes according to a controlled geometry. Indeed, the preparation table allows angular positioning of the pipes and tightening to be carried out with greater ease than if they were carried out in the vehicle. Once the rigid pipes are positioned around the brake assist system, the latter is fixed to the bulkhead 53 of the motor vehicle. In order to avoid excessive dispersion in the positioning of the rigid brake pipes and thus to control the geometry of the latter, it is necessary to install a brake pipe fixing at least every 500 millimeters. For this purpose, the fixing zone 112 of the main part provides a fixing surface for each of the brake fluid pipes 41, 42 relating to the left and right front brakes.

[0068] As a note, the brake assist system is installed in the vehicle by a pure longitudinal translational movement, which means that the additional part 12 of the fixing part 1 must imperatively be fixed to the main part 11 of the fixing part 1 after the brake assist system has been fixed to the apron.

[0069] The step of fixing the second part 12 of the fixing part 1 on the first part 11 of the fixing part 1 can be carried out directly after the step E2 of installing the braking assistance system, as shown in particular in [Fig. 10]. Alternatively, it can be preceded by a step E3 of fixing the first, second and third wirings 45, 46, 47 on the first part 11 of the fixing part 1.

[0070] In step E3, illustrated by [Fig. 12], the first and second wirings 45, 46, which correspond to the wirings of the charging socket, are fixed to the fixing zones 114 and 115 of the first part. In addition, the third wiring 47, corresponding to the wiring connecting the battery to the battery management computer 63, is fixed to the first zone 111 of the main part 11.

[0071] As long as the vehicle is positioned at a height required for the assembly of the engine compartment elements, the following points of the path of the wiring 45, 46, 47 are not accessible for screwing by an operator in the assembly plant. This means that the fixing points of the wiring 45, 46, 47 on the fixing part 1 are the only fixing points of these wirings during several stages of assembly of the vehicle.

[0072] It is thus necessary for the fixing part 1, in particular the fixing zones 111, 114 and 115, to have resistance characteristics enabling it to support the weight of long portions of wiring. In particular, the fixing zone 111 must be able to support the weight of a length of wiring extending from the fixing zone 111 to the battery. In addition, the fixing zones 114 and 115 must together be able to support the weight of a length of wiring 45, 46 extending from the fixing areas 114, 115 to the battery.

[0073] Then in a step E4, preceding or following step E3, the additional part 12 of the fixing part is fixed to the main part of the fixing part. For this, - the round hole 1212 of the additional part 12 collaborates with the stud 1133 of the main part 11, to guide the additional part in particular according to a degree of freedom around the axis of the stud 1133. And - the curved end 1211 of the additional part 12 collaborates with the square hole 1132 of the main part, to prevent the rotational movement of the additional part 12 around the nipple 1133 of the main part 11.

[0074] Then in a step E5 the third and fourth pipes 43, 44 are fixed on the second part 12 of the fixing part 1. For this, the fixing zone 122 comprises a round hole 1221 and a substantially oblong hole 1222 intended to collaborate with a male fixing means for fixing the third and fourth pipes 43, 44.

[0075] Finally, the arrangement according to the invention, and in particular the fixing part 1, allow new components to be installed in an existing vehicle structure. In particular, the arrangement according to the invention makes it possible to develop an electric vehicle based on an existing thermal vehicle structure, without it being necessary to modify either the existing structure or the tools required for assembling the vehicle.

[0076] Furthermore, by arranging the fixing piece on the apron reinforcement crossmember, it is ensured that the arrangement is sufficiently robust to support the weight of the pipes and wiring carried by the fixing piece. This point is particularly important during vehicle assembly, when the fixing piece must temporarily support a significant length of wiring.
