Description

Title of the invention: BIOLOGICAL FILTER FOR GARDEN POND TECHNICAL AREA & TECHNICAL PROBLEM TARGET

[0001] 1. The invention is a novel water filtration system for ornamental ponds allowing it to be more efficient and more compact than traditional and bulky systems. The filter degrades more material, and in a complete way by skimming the water in addition to filtering it.

[0002] 2. The invention is a new filtration system for an ornamental pond. enabling the colonization of filter masses to be optimized and consequently the degradation of nitrogenous products contained in the water by a new system of water circulation and distribution of filtration media.

[0003] Pond enthusiasts usually have to upgrade their traditional filters regularly to break down matter, nitrogen and scum. The investments are expensive and cumbersome for results that are not always satisfactory due to the loss of pressure of the water circulating in countless elbows and pipe extensions.

[0004] The invention of this application makes it possible to solve all these problems at once. THE STATE OF THE ART

[0005] 1. The filters currently on the market make it possible to degrade a part nitrogen but by poorly exploiting the filter masses that compose them. Indeed, as has been demonstrated several times, notably by Peter Waddington, beyond 50cm of filter masses, the colonization of bacteria decreases drastically because there is less matter to digest. We have therefore seen an extreme lengthening of the filters to allow the excess filter masses to act as a buffer during periods when there is more matter and nitrogen to digest.

[0006] 2. So enthusiasts buy a biological filter that is too small to start with, and complete this one as problems arise. Other filters are added in parallel or in series, and energy-consuming devices to skim the water which often retains a yellow tint due to poorly digested proteins. Some compact systems have boasted of allowing more efficient degradation by respecting the 50cm rule, but bacteria cannot be miniaturized, so the result is very far from what the technical documentation of these systems displays at Bead. THE INVENTION:

[0007] 1. The invention makes it possible to degrade the materials contained in water, products nitrogen and phosphate scum to clean the pond water, and allow the fish to assimilate oxygen without other pollution, all while remaining compact and exploiting the entire capacity of the filter masses. This action is possible thanks to several technical inventions:

[0008] * Filtration device for degrading nitrogen and phosphates characterized in that it has a central water inlet from above, forcing the water to pass through a compact filter mass from top to bottom to encourage the development of aerobic bacteria closest to the surface of the filter water, where the water is most oxygenated with the addition of an aerator

[0009] * Device characterized in that the aeration of the filtration media produces surface scum while stimulating aerobic colonization on the media, thus allowing the degradation of phosphates.

[0010] * Water circulation from the center to the outside, never crossing more than 50 cm of filter masses both horizontally and vertically. This avoids filters that are too long and not efficient enough.

[0011] * Device characterized by the absence of aerobic zones (developing bacteria thanks to oxygen) at the bottom of the filter masses, allowing the existence of anoxic zones (bacteria developing without oxygen) thus degrading nitrates.

[0012] * Each filtration tank is an independent line from the other allowing management only charged water coming straight from the pool. This avoids the impoverishment of the quality and quantity of bacteria on the filtration media.

[0013] * The tanks are not decanted so as not to accumulate material organic matter in the filter. This prevents the formation of free pathogenic bacteria that can cause serious damage in the pond.

[0014] * The 1 lm3 filtration tank model can degrade 20 to 25m3 of water pond at a speed of 25m3 / h. It is the most compact of filters with such a large volume of filter media and as much bacteria yield in its media.

[0015] * The model with 2 lm3 tanks is the first filter to offer two lines of independent filtration in the same container to avoid cluttering up technical rooms too much, to avoid making rooms too large and therefore save space and money.

[0016] * Its custom design with pipes passing through a double bottom This technique allows it to adapt to all existing scenarios. All inlets and outlets can therefore be designed on the same side of the filter for user comfort.

[0017] 2. The invention may be accessible to any person or company wishing to carry out or modify a garden ornamental pond, with the aim of ensuring the well-being of the fish and the ease of use and installation of the biological filtration system.

[0018] As part of the renovation of a pool, the invention will be designed after a measurement survey, and made to measure in the workshop to best adapt to the constraints existing. Many parameters must be taken into account, but the result is quick after startup.

[0019] As part of the creation of a pool, the invention will be designed with the entire technical room to allow compact integration, simple use and optimal efficiency.

[0020] After starting the filter, the first observation is a mechanical clarification of the water not the effect of retention of the matter by the filter masses. The bacteria which develop there quickly will digest this matter to eliminate it.

[0021] Secondly, the supply of food to the pond is no longer a concern for the water balance because this pollution creates ammonia and nitrites which will be immediately neutralized by the bacteria present on all the filter masses. The respiration and excrement of the fish also contribute to this pollution.

[0022] Finally, the aerator located under the filter media, raises oxygen bubbles which, once on the surface, are loaded with fat, proteins and other pollutants contained in the water. The bubbles end up bursting on the surface of the filter media, to deposit the fatty film they were carrying. The bacteria close to the surface of the filter media are made up of many very different strains thanks to the excess oxygen. The skimming function is underway, to discolor the water, and prevent the rise in the phosphate level, which favors the appearance of filamentous algae.
