Use of a non-slip marking tool for people with disabilities

Abstract

The invention relates to the use of a marking instrument (10; 10a), such as a ruler, set square, or protractor, to refine hand movements and increase the confidence and comfort of individuals who have difficulty automating hand gestures in time and space. The instrument comprises a main body (12) with one or more lateral marking elements (22), with one or more sliding systems (14, 15) and one or more gripping systems (16), and is constructed in several blocks. The main body (12) associated with the gripping system(s) (16) and the lateral marking elements (22) associated with the sliding system(s) (14, 15) are separate blocks, and the main body is actuated by pressure to perform a gripping action.
