Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: SUPPORTING STRUCTURE WITH A CLAMPING ELEMENT
[0001] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] 1. Field of the invention
[0003] The present invention relates generally to a supporting structure with a clamping element, and more particularly to a supporting structure with a clamping element which can provide a variety of different modes of use to meet different needs.
[0004] 2. Prior art
[0005] For people who like to hear every detail of music, or get better sound quality from streaming music, over-ear headphones are preferable to small, lightweight in-ear headphones. This is because over-ear headphones filter out ambient noise well, offer better sound quality and bass, and cover the ears with soft ear cups. On the other hand, the earplug of in-ear headphones to be inserted into the ear canal can create some discomfort due to the sensation of a foreign body.
[0006] However, over-ear headphones are large in size. Considering the frequent use and storage convenience, a hanging structure is generally used to hang the over-ear headphones. The hanging structure is generally equipped with an iron hook for hanging the over-ear headphones. The iron hook is used to fix the hanging structure to the wall and can only be used in one direction. Headphones and headphone cables are hung on the iron hook at the same time, which gives a messy and unsightly impression, because the hanging member cannot be rotated and adjusted conveniently, so that the use is limited to certain places, which is inconvenient. In addition, if the hanging structure is only used to hang over-ear headphones, the usefulness of such a product will be relatively reduced. The present invention is disclosed based on the principle of expanding the utility by matching it with different accessories for different uses, which will also bring great convenience to the user. [0040] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0041] The technical solutions of the present invention will be described clearly and completely below in conjunction with the specific embodiments and the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that when a member is said to be "mounted or fixed on" another member, this means that the member may be directly on the other member or that an intermediate member may also be present. When a member is said to be "connected" to another member, this means that the member may be directly connected to the other member or that intermediate members may also be present. In the illustrated embodiment, the directions indicated as up, down, left, right, front and back, etc., are relative, and are used to explain that the structures and movements of the various members are in this case relative. These representations are appropriate when the members are in the positions indicated in the figures. However, if the description of the positions of the elements changes, it must be considered that these representations will change accordingly.
[0042] Figures 1 and 2 are three-dimensional schematic views of the present invention from different angles. The supporting structure with a clamping member according to the present invention comprises a clamping unit 10 and a supporting unit 20. The clamping unit 10 is used for clamping on a plate-shaped object with a thickness, such as a table, a flange or a rod of a platform, etc. The supporting unit 20 is rotatably connected to the clamping unit 10, which enables the clamping unit 10 to clamp at the desired fixed location. The supporting unit 20 can be rotated and adjusted to a suitable position, so that objects can be hung on the supporting unit 20 to meet different usage requirements.
[0043] First, an explanation will be given on how to use the overall structure. With reference to Figures 3 and 4 together:
[0044] The clamping unit 10 comprises a shell 30, a movable clamping arm 40, a connecting element 50 and a lever element 60. The shell 30 is a hollow, flat, vertical shell with a fixed clamping arm 31 projecting from the upper portion, such that the overall body of the shell 30 is in the shape of an inverted L. The upper portion of the fixed clamping arm 31 also has a recessed area 32 in which the lever element 60 is disposed. The movable clamping arm 40 can move along the vertical side wall of the shell 30, such that the movable clamping arm 40 can move towards or away from the fixed clamping arm 31. Thus, the movable clamping arm 40 and the fixed clamping arm 31 enable clamping and releasing the clamping. The connecting member 50 is disposed in the shell 30 and is responsible for driving the movable clamping arm 40 in linear motion. In the present embodiment, the connecting member 50 comprises a screw rod 51 and a movable member 52 which can move linearly when the screw rod 51 rotates. The screw rod 51 extends upward through the fixed clamping arm 31. The end of the screw rod 51 exposed from the fixed clamping arm 31 is pivotally connected to the lever member 60 in a direction perpendicular to the axis line of the screw rod 51. When the lever member 60 rotates to a vertical position, the screw rod 51 rotates, causing the movable member 52 to cause the movable clamping arm 40 to move to perform the tightening or loosening function. When the lever member 60 is pressed downward against the upper surface of the fixed clamping arm 31, the position of the lever member 60 is fixed, so that the screw rod 51 cannot rotate. However, when the lever member 60 is pressed downward to be flat, the connecting member 50 is affected to produce a slight displacement, thereby reducing the distance between the fixed clamping arm 31 and the movable clamping arm 40, thereby increasing the clamping force between the fixed clamping arm 31 and the movable clamping arm 40, which is also the objective of the present invention.
[0045] Next, each element of the clamping unit 10 will be described in more detail:
[0046] As shown in [Fig.4], the shell 30 is a hollow shell in the shape of an inverted L formed by combining a first L-shaped shell 33 and a second L-shaped shell 34. The shell 30 is mainly used to accommodate the connecting member 50. As shown in [Fig. 3], a cavity 35 is formed inside the shell 30, and the cavity 35 limits the movable member 52 to longitudinal linear movement only. Furthermore, the second L-shaped shell 34 forms at least one guide groove 36 penetrating through the vertical side wall. The guide groove 36 is connected to the cavity 35, and the guide groove 36 allows the movable clamp arm 40 to move smoothly. Furthermore, the upper surface of the shell 30 has a concave recessed area 32.The recessed area 32 corresponds to the shape of the lever element 60, such that the lever element 60 can be stored therein when not in use, thereby reducing the volume of the protrusion from the upper surface of the fixed clamping arm 31. Furthermore, the shell 30 forms a first anchoring groove 37 in the longitudinal direction of the two narrower side walls. The first anchoring groove 37 has at least one stop 38 therein. The structure of the first anchoring groove 37 and the stop 38 are provided such that different accessories can be installed therein. The use of the mechanism will be described in detail in the following paragraphs.
[0047] The main function of the connecting member 50 is to cause the movable clamping arm 40 to move linearly. In the present embodiment, the connecting member 50 comprises the screw rod 51 and the movable member 52 which is rotated by the screw rod 51 and can move linearly. The screw rod 51 is a rod with external threads on the surface. The movable member 52 has a screw hole inside and can be connected to the screw rod 51. The movable member 52 can have many different shapes, and is not limited to the shape of the embodiments of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the movable member 52 is a rectangular frame, and a nut 53 is fixed to the frame. The nut 53 is mainly connected to the screw rod 51. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the frame of the movable element 52 also has two elongated through grooves 54.The elongated grooves 54 are partially formed in an outwardly widening slot 55. The elongated grooves 54 and the slots 55 are for connection to the movable clamping arm 40. Furthermore, the screw rod 51 penetrates into and protrudes from the upper surface of the fixed clamping arm 31. The screw rod 51 can be rotated but will not detach from the shell 30. When the screw rod 51 rotates, the movable member 52 is restricted in the cavity 35, such that the movable member 52 can move only linearly.
[0048] In order to enable the movable clamping arm 40 to move linearly smoothly on the side wall of the shell 30, the side wall of the movable clamping arm 40 also has at least two guide pieces 41, and the guide pieces 41 protrude toward the direction of the shell 30. As shown in Figures 2 and 4, the side wall of the shell 30 has two penetrating guide grooves 36, and the movable clamping arm 40 is inserted into the corresponding guide groove 36 through the guide piece 41 to ensure that the movable clamping arm 40 can move smoothly along the shell 30, but it is best that the guide piece 41 is also inserted into the slot 54 of the movable member 52. In addition, the guide piece 41 has an elastic locking piece 42 in the middle position. The end of the elastic locking piece 42 has the shape of a barb. The elastic locking piece 42 can be caught in the slot 55 of the movable member 52 (as shown in [Fig. 3]), and the movable clamping arm 40 and the movable member 52 are engaged with each other. Thus, when the movable member 52 moves, the movable clamping arm 40 can also move synchronously.
[0049] As shown in [Fig.4], the lever element 60 is pivotally connected to the screw rod 51 by a shaft 61, and the axis line of the shaft 61 used for the pivot connection is perpendicular to the axis line of the screw rod 51. The lever element 60 has a first contact wall 62 and a second contact wall 63 which are perpendicular to each other near the pivot axis 64. The connection between the first contact wall 62 and the second contact wall 63 is an arc-shaped surface. The special feature of the present invention is that the distance between the first contact wall 62 and the pivot axis 64 is less than the distance between the second contact wall 63 and the pivot axis 64. Therefore, to adjust the position of the movable member 52 as shown in [Fig.5A], the lever member 60 is first pulled upwards into a vertical position, and the first contact wall 62 contacts the upper surface of the fixed clamping arm 31; that is, the first contact wall 62 contacts the recessed area 32 on the upper surface. At this time, the lever member 60 rotates the screw rod 51 synchronously, thereby driving the movable clamping arm 40 toward or away from the fixed clamping arm 31 to realize the tightening or loosening function. After the adjustment, there is a preliminary distance L1 between the movable clamping arm 40 and the fixed clamping arm 31. As shown in [Fig. 5B], the lever member 60 is then pulled downward. When the second contact wall 63 contacts the upper surface of the fixed clamping arm 31, except that the screw rod 51 can no longer be rotated for fastening purposes, because the distance between the second contact wall 63 and the pivot axis 64 is greater than the distance between the first contact wall 62 and the pivot axis 64, the entire connecting member 50 is pulled upward by a predetermined distance. Therefore, the movable clamping arm 40 is in contact with the pivot axis 64. The original preliminary distance L1 between the fixed clamping arm 31 and the movable clamping arm 40 is reduced to the clamping distance L2.Since L2 is smaller than L1, the clamping force of the movable clamping arm 40 and the fixed clamping arm 31 can be increased, so that it is not easy to loosen when tightening strongly. This is the special feature of the present invention. In addition, the movable clamping arm 40 and the fixed clamping arm 31 also include soft sponges or pads on the surfaces facing each other to increase the friction force of the clamping and satisfy the amount of deformation that may occur when tightening.
[0050] Next, the supporting unit 20 will be described in detail, as shown in Figures 1 and 2:
[0051] The supporting unit 20 is a laterally hollow elongated shell, with an upwardly extending projecting end portion 21 at one end, and the end portion 21 is rotatably connected to one end of the shell 30 remote from the fixed clamping arm 31. The connecting means is to use screws to lock the two parts so that they can rotate relative to each other, but cannot be separated. Furthermore, elastic and movable teeth may be provided at the joints as anchoring elements so as to ensure that they can still be fixed after being adjusted to various positions an gular. The carrying unit 20 also has a stopper 22 at an end remote from the end portion 21. The stopper 22 protrudes from the upper and lower surfaces of the carrying unit 20 to prevent hanging objects from slipping. Furthermore, the upper surface and the lower surface of the carrying unit 20 may be curved to facilitate hanging over-ear headphones. The carrying unit 20 also has at least one wire clip 23. The wire clip 23 is C-shaped and is located on the side wall of the carrying unit 20. The wire clip 23 is used to hook, suspend, or clamp the wires of the headphones so as to prevent them from being loose. Furthermore, a second anchoring groove 211 is formed in the longitudinal direction of the two corresponding narrower side walls of the end portion 21.When the end portion 21 is adjusted into a corresponding position with the shell 30, the second anchoring groove 211 is also connected to the first anchoring groove 37, which is also used for installing various accessories, and which will be described later.
[0052] As shown in [Fig. 6], the side wall of the supporting unit 20 also includes an extension hook 24. The supporting unit 20 has an opening 25 on the side wall where the end portion 21 is located, through which the extension hook 24 can be inserted into the hollow shell of the supporting unit 20. The extension hook 24 has a projecting arc stop 241 at an end remote from the end portion 21. The purpose of the arc stop 241 is also to prevent hanging objects from slipping. As shown in [Fig. 2], when not in use, the extension hook 24 is inserted into the supporting unit 20, leaving only the arc stop 241 exposed. The surrounding area of the arc stop 241 is also connected to the side wall of the end portion 21, which makes the overall appearance simple and aesthetically pleasing. As shown in [Fig.6], when in use, the extension hook 24 can be pulled out and protrudes from the side of the end portion 21, but cannot be detached from the carrying unit 20. The invention uses the extension hook 24 to provide another place to hang objects, thereby increasing the use of the present invention.
[0053] The supporting structure with a clamping member according to the present invention can be used in various ways. In addition, with the use of different accessories, the present invention can also produce different functions to meet different needs. The following is a brief explanation:
[0054] Figures 7A and 7B are respectively an exploded view and a perspective view of the installation of an auxiliary suspension element on the present invention. As previously indicated, in the present invention, the two relatively narrow and opposite side walls of the shell 30 each have the first anchoring groove 37 in the longitudinal direction for the installation of accessories. In the present embodiment, the accessory is an auxiliary suspension member 70. The auxiliary suspension member 70 has two wings arranged in an inverted V shape. Both wings have upward hooking pieces 71. The auxiliary suspension member 70 also has a connecting piece 72. The connecting piece 72 has two longitudinally protruding anchoring pieces 73, and the anchoring pieces 73 are arranged opposite each other. The anchoring pieces 73 are inserted into the first anchoring groove 37 from top to bottom, and stop when they contact the stopper 38, so that the auxiliary suspension member 70 can be fixed to the shell 30. The auxiliary suspension member 70 increases the number of objects that can be suspended, and the remote control of the video game can also be placed directly thereon.
[0055] Figures 8A and 8B are respectively an exploded view and a perspective view of the installation of a cup holder on the present invention. The cup holder 80 is cylindrical in shape with an upwardly oriented opening, and has a notch 81 on the side wall surrounding it. The notch 81 is a cup handle receiving position. The cup holder 80 also has a connecting piece 82. The connecting piece 82 has a longitudinally facing protruding piece 83. The protruding piece 83 is inserted into the first anchoring groove 37 from top to bottom, and stops when it contacts the stopper 38, so that the cup holder 80 can be fixed on the shell 30 so that a cup can be placed therein. Of course, if the use of the cup holder 80 interferes with the use of the carrying unit 20, as shown in [Fig.8B], the carrying unit 20 can be rotated 180 degrees to be located under the movable clamping arm 40.
[0056] Figures 9A and 9B are respectively an exploded view and a perspective view of the installation of a hands-free holder on the present invention. The hands-free holder 90 comprises a connecting piece 91 and a holder assembly 92. The holder assembly 92 can be used for the mobile phone 95 to be used in a hands-free mode. The holder assembly 92 is rotatably coupled to the upper part of the connecting piece 91. As shown in [Fig. 9A], the connecting piece 91 has a longitudinally facing convex piece 911. The convex piece 911 can be inserted into the first anchoring groove 37 from top to bottom, so that the holder assembly 92 can be fixed to the shell 30. The holder assembly 92 is one of the embodiments of the present invention. The support assembly 92 comprises a pivoting element 921, a carrying element 922 and a stop 923.The pivoting member 921 is rotatably connected to the connecting member 91, as shown in [Fig.9C], the pivoting member 91 can rotate around the pivoting connection. The pivoting member 921 is pivotally connected to the carrying member 922, but the rotation direction of the carrying member 922 is different from the rotation direction of the pivoting member 921 and the connecting member 91. The carrying member 922 has a flat surface 9221, and a local area of the surface 9221 is a magnetic attraction area 9222. A magnet . (not shown in the figure) is placed inside the carrier member 922, where the magnetic attraction area 9222 is located, such that the magnetic attraction area 9222 has a magnetic attraction. As shown in [Fig.9B], the stopper 923 is pivotally connected to the carrier member 922. When the stopper 923 is pulled upward in a direction opposite to the carrier member 922, the stopper 923 protrudes from the surface 9221. Furthermore, the carrier member 922 is an annular structure, and has a penetration gap 9223 in the center. As shown in [Fig. 9C], once the stopper 923 is pulled toward the carrier member 922, most of the structure of the stopper 923 may be located in the gap 9223 and will not protrude from the surface 9221. As shown in [Fig.9D], the side of the carrier member 922 away from the stopper 923 has a surrounding wall 924, and the area surrounded by the surrounding wall 924 can be used to place a wireless charging head 96. .
[0057] As shown in [Fig.9B], the hands-free holder 90 is fixed to the shell 30 of the clamping unit 10 by the connecting piece 91, and the carrier 922 can be adjusted to be inclined, and uses the protruding stopper 923 of the surface 9221. When in use, the magnetic force generated by the magnetic area 9222 attracts the mobile phone 95, and the stopper 923 contacts the edge of the mobile phone 95 so that the mobile phone can be placed on the holder assembly 92 in a hands-free mode. As shown in [Fig.9E], the mobile phone 95 is in a standing position for use. As shown in [Fig.9D], when the pivoting member 921 and the carrier member 922 are rotated, the surrounding wall 924 of the carrier member 922 faces upward, so that the wireless charging head 96 can be placed in the space defined by the surrounding wall 924.When the wire of the wireless charging head 96 is connected to the power source, and the mobile phone 95 is placed on the wireless charging head 96, the charging operation can be performed.
[0058] In the above embodiment, although the fixed clamping arm 31 and the movable clamping arm 40 are used to clamp onto a place to be fixed, basically the fixed clamping arm 31 is at the top and the movable clamping arm 40 is at the bottom. But this is not limited here. [Fig. 10] shows another method of using the present embodiment. In the present embodiment, the movable clamping arm 40 is at the top and the fixed clamping arm 31 is at the bottom to perform clamping.
[0059] In the usage scenario of [Fig. 10], the present invention can still install the various accessories mentioned above. [Fig. 11] shows only one of the possibilities for illustration, and the others work in the same way. As shown in [Fig.l 1], the cup holder 80 still has the connecting piece 82 but, in the present embodiment, the connecting piece 82 is inserted into the second groove anchor 211 from top to bottom with the protruding part 83, and stops when it comes into contact with the stopper 38, so that the cup holder 80 can also be fixed to the end part 21.
[0060] Figures 12A and 12B illustrate another embodiment of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the clamping unit 10 is similar to the above embodiment, except that: the carrying unit 20A is of another type. In the present embodiment, the carrying unit 20A is a box with its opening facing upwards. The space in the box allows small objects to be placed. The carrying unit 20A is still rotatably connected to the shell 30 by the end portion 21A. It can be seen from this embodiment that the carrying unit 20A of the present invention is not limited to a specific type, as long as it can carry objects. In the present embodiment, the shell 30 also forms the first anchoring groove on the two side walls 37, and the end portion 21 also forms the second anchoring groove 211 on the two side walls.
[0061] Although the present invention has been described with reference to its preferred embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
