Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: ELECTRIC OR HYBRID MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A CHARGING BOX COMPRISING A SHUTTER SWIVEL
[0001] The invention relates to electric or hybrid motor vehicles, and more particularly to the means for recharging these vehicles.
[0002] Known from the prior art is a utility model CN214057263 which describes an electric or hybrid motor vehicle comprising a housing in which an electric charging cable is located. The vehicle comprises an opening through which said charging cable can pass. To prevent the entry of debris into said housing, said opening comprises a brush. Thus, when storing the charging cable in its housing, the charging cable is brushed along the entire length of the charging cable having been exposed to the external environment during the process of recharging the battery of the motor vehicle. In this way, the debris present around the perimeter of the charging cable is retained by the brush. Thus, said debris does not enter said housing. However, disadvantages remain. The brush only provides partial closure of said opening.Indeed, the brush is not impervious to all debris that may enter the housing through the opening. Thus, elements in liquid form or fine particles may enter the housing. The accumulation of these elements damages the housing and, in the long term, may prevent the storage of the electric charging cable.
[0003] The objective of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a pivoting shutter comprising a recess capable of being crossed by an electric charging cable.
[0004] To achieve this objective, the invention proposes an electric or hybrid motor vehicle comprising a battery and a charging hatch, said charging hatch comprising a casing and a housing, said housing comprising a retractable charging cable for charging said battery, said charging cable comprising a tip, said casing being capable of receiving said tip, said casing comprising an opening giving access to the housing and a shutter, said shutter having a recess and a pivot connection allowing said shutter to pivot, said charging hatch being capable of having three configurations: - a first configuration in which said tip is stored in said housing and the charging cable is fully stored in said housing, said shutter being closed; - a second configuration in which said tip is outside said housing and the charging cable is partially outside said housing, said shutter being open; - a third configuration in which said tip is outside said housing and the charging cable is partially outside said housing, said shutter being closed and said charging cable passing through said recess.
[0005] Thanks to the invention, debris and impurities present around or in said housing are not able to penetrate into said housing, even when the vehicle battery is being recharged.
[0006] Preferably, said recess comprises a plurality of fibers.
[0007] The plurality of fibers makes it possible to prevent the entry of debris and impurities into said housing when the vehicle battery is being recharged because the recess is closed by the plurality of fibers around the passage of the cable. In addition, it makes it possible to clean the charging cable when storing it.
[0008] Advantageously, said recess having a periphery, said plurality of fibers being arranged around the entire periphery of said recess.
[0009] Thus, the risk of debris and impurities entering is greatly reduced.
[0010] Advantageously, said plurality of fibers comprises a first subset of fibers arranged in parallel and a second subset of fibers arranged in parallel, said first subset of fibers and said second subset of fibers being arranged opposite one another.
[0011] This configuration allows the charging cable to be effectively cleaned as it passes through the recess.
[0012] Advantageously, said housing has a circular section and said shutter has a cylindrical shape.
[0013] This configuration allows easy storage of the charging cable in the housing and the shutter covers access to the housing.
[0014] Advantageously, said housing has a first diameter of between 5 cm and 10 cm.
[0015] Advantageously, said shutter has a second diameter of between 2 cm and 9 cm, said second diameter being strictly less than the first diameter.
[0016] The invention also relates to a method for outputting a charging cable for recharging an electric or hybrid motor vehicle described above with electrical energy, the end piece being capable of being plugged into an electric charging terminal, and said method comprises the following steps: - a step of removing the tip from the housing; - a pivoting step of the shutter allowing access to said housing via said opening; - a step of stretching the electric charging cable; - a step of connecting said tip to the electric charging terminal; - a step of pivoting said shutter to prevent access to said housing via said opening, said charging cable sliding in said recess.
[0017] Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for storing a battery charging cable for an electric or hybrid motor vehicle previously described, the end piece being capable of being plugged into the electric charging terminal, and said method comprises the following steps: - a step of disconnecting said tip from the electric charging terminal; - a step of opening access to said housing via said opening by pivoting said shutter, said charging cable being removed from said recess; - a step of inserting said cable into said housing through said opening; - a step of closing said opening by pivoting said shutter; - a step of storing said tip in said housing.
[0018] The invention will be further detailed by the description of non-limiting embodiments, and on the basis of the appended figures illustrating variants of the invention, in which: - [Fig.l] schematically illustrates a housing of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle in a first configuration, according to an embodiment of the invention; - [Fig.2] schematically illustrates the casing of the electric motor vehicle or hybrid in a second configuration; - [Fig.3] schematically illustrates the casing of the electric motor vehicle or hybrid in a third configuration.
[0019] [Fig.l] schematically illustrates an electric or hybrid motor vehicle 100 comprising a battery and a charging hatch 8 in a first configuration. The charging hatch 8 comprises a housing 1. Furthermore, said charging hatch 8 comprises a housing comprising a retractable electric charging cable. Preferably, the housing has a first diameter of between 5 cm and 10 cm. The housing 1 comprises an opening providing access to said housing. The charging cable is intended to pass through said opening to enable the battery of said vehicle 100 to be recharged. The charging cable comprises a tip (not shown in [Fig.l]). The tip enables the electric charging cable to be connected to an electric charging terminal. The housing 1 constitutes the storage space for the tip when said tip is not in use. Consequently, in the first configuration, the tip is hung in said housing 1. In addition, the housing 1 comprises a shutter 3 allowing the closing of said opening. Preferably, said shutter 3 has a second diameter between 2 cm and 9 cm, said second diameter being strictly less than the first diameter. In [Fig.l], said opening is concealed by said shutter 3. The shutter 3 comprises a recess 4. Preferably, and as illustrated in [Fig.l], said recess 4 comprises a plurality of fibers 6. For the sake of clarity, in [Fig.l], said plurality of fibers 6 is not shown in the entirety of the recess 4.Preferably, said recess 4 has a periphery and said plurality of fibers 6, if present, is arranged around the entire periphery of the recess 4 in order to prevent the passage of debris through said opening. In an alternative embodiment, said plurality of fibers 6 comprises a first subset of fibers arranged in parallel and a second subset of fibers arranged in parallel. The first subset of fibers and the second subset of fibers being arranged opposite one another. The shutter 3 comprises a pivot connection 5 allowing the mobility of said shutter 3. Indeed, said shutter 3 is capable of being pivoted to open access to said housing via said opening. In other words, the pivoting of said shutter 3 allows the passage from the first configuration to a second configuration.
[0020] [Fig. 2] schematically illustrates the recharging hatch 8 in the second configuration. The end piece (not shown in [Fig. 2]) has been unhooked by a user of the vehicle 100. In addition, the user has pivoted the shutter 3. The movement of the shutter 3 is permitted by the presence of the pivot connection 5. The opening 2 is therefore uncovered. As a reminder, the opening 2 gives access to the housing in which said recharging cable 7 is stored. Thus, the user is able to grasp the recharging cable 7 to supply electrical energy to the battery of said vehicle 100.
[0021] In [Fig. 3], the recharging hatch 8 is schematically illustrated in a third configuration. The tip of the recharging cable is still outside the housing 1. The shutter 3 has been repositioned so that the opening is no longer accessible. The recharging cable 7 passes through the plurality of fibers 6 present in the recess 4. Thus, the recharging cable 7 is partially outside the vehicle 100. The recharging cable 7 can then be connected, via the tip, to an electric recharging terminal. The recharging cable 7 allows the transmission of electrical energy from the electric recharging terminal to the battery of said vehicle 100. The plurality of fibers 6 allows the cleaning of said recharging cable 7 passing through it. Thus, impurities are not able to pass through said opening in order to enter said housing.
[0022] To move from the first configuration to the third configuration, it is necessary to implement a method for removing the charging cable 7 for electrically recharging the vehicle 100. During a removal step, the end piece is detached from the housing 1. Thus, the removal of the housing reveals the shutter 3. The charging hatch 8 is in the first configuration. Consequently, the opening 2 is not visible because it is closed by said shutter 3. During a pivoting step of the shutter allowing access to said housing via said opening 2, to open access to said opening 2, the user pivots said shutter 3. This pivoting is facilitated by the presence of the pivot connection 5. The opening 2 is therefore visible, access to the housing is therefore permitted. The charging hatch 8 is then in the second configuration.During a stretching step, the user grasps the electric charging cable 7 in said housing, through said opening 2. The user pulls on said charging cable 7 so that it partially comes out of said housing. During a connection step, when the charging cable 7 is far enough out, the user connects said end piece, to which said charging cable 7 is connected, to an electric charging terminal. The electric charging of the battery of the vehicle 100 then begins. During a pivoting step of said shutter to prevent access to said housing via said opening 2, said shutter 3 is closed so that said charging cable 7 slides into said recess 4. In this way, said opening 2 is closed without this preventing the charging of the battery of the vehicle 100.Thus, debris and impurities likely to enter said housing via said opening 2 are retained by said shutter 3. The recess being adapted to the diameter of the recharging cable 7, the debris cannot pass through. In addition, it is possible to add a plurality of fibers 6 in said recess 4 in order to further reduce the risks of debris entering said housing. At this stage, said recharging hatch 8 is in the third configuration.
[0023] To store the charging cable 7 in the housing of the vehicle 100 when the recharging of the battery of the vehicle 100 is finished, it is necessary to implement a method for storing the charging cable of the battery of the electric or hybrid motor vehicle 100. During a disconnection step, the user disconnects the end piece connecting the charging cable 7 and said electric charging terminal in order to interrupt the transmission of electrical energy. During the disconnection step, the charging hatch 8 is in the third configuration. During a step of opening access to said housing via said opening, the user pivots the shutter 3 in order to release said charging cable. loading 7 of the recess 4 and to open access to said opening 2 giving onto the housing. The recharging hatch 8 is then in the second configuration. During an insertion step, the user stores said recharging cable 7 in said housing by passing it through said opening 2. During a closing step, the shutter 3 undergoes a new pivoting movement by the user in order to close said opening 2 and prevent access to said housing. The recharging cable 7 is entirely contained in said housing. During a storage step, the end piece is replaced in said housing 1. Thus, it remains available to start a new recharging cycle of said vehicle 100. Consequently, the recharging hatch 8 is in the first configuration.
