Description
Title of the invention: Gaming device
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of gaming devices and in particular table football.
[0002] In the above field, conventional game devices are known comprising a rectangular game board bordered by four vertical walls with two opposing goals and through game bars intended to be used by two players facing each other, each player being able to maneuver four game bars carrying one to five player bodies.
[0003] Such table football requires a large space, both to place the massive playing device but also for the movement of players around it.
[0004] The present invention aims to propose an innovative table football type game device, which is compact and easily transportable.
[0005] The invention relates to a gaming device comprising a chassis capable of being arranged on a frame and comprising a bottom constituting a game board bordered by vertical walls and comprising two opposite excavations, at least four game bars, each game bar comprising a rod and a slide capable of translating and pivoting on the rod thus forming a pivoting telescopic game bar extending beyond the vertical walls and at least one player body being fixed on the slide.
[0006] According to the invention, the game board comprises a regular or circular polygonal shape, the frame comprising a base located in the center of the game board and raised so that the player's bodies do not touch the game board and means for fixing each game bar to the base. The implementation of such a shape approaching a disc for the game board makes it possible to considerably reduce the size of the game device. Starting the game bars from the center of the game board makes it possible to ingeniously cover a radius of the game board, the pivoting telescopic game bars allowing the player's bodies to be moved over the entire length of the radius of the game board.
[0007] According to a characteristic of the invention, the means for fixing a game bar to the base comprise a pivot connection. The pivot connection makes it possible to move the game bars around their own pivot axis, thus increasing the surface area where the players' bodies can go.
[0008] According to one embodiment of the invention, the means for fixing a game bar to the base comprise a bracket pivotally mounted on the base and comprising a vertical part having a hole suitable for the passage of the rod of a game bar, the rod being locked on the bracket by means of a nut. Arranging a pivoting bracket engaging with one end of the game bar is an easy solution to implement. work based on the game board.
[0009] According to another characteristic of the invention, each bracket is fixed to the base in the direction of a ray starting from the center of the base, the center of the base coinciding vertically with the center of the game board. This configuration makes it possible to anticipate the axis of rotation of each of the game bars in order to cover an optimal surface of the game board while maintaining fairness of movement of the different player bodies for each player intended to maneuver the game bars.
[0010] According to yet another characteristic of the invention, each play bar passes through an oblong opening located in the vertical wall(s). The implementation of oblong openings makes it possible to define stops for the play bars which are thus blocked in the oblong openings of the vertical walls.
[0011] According to a characteristic of the invention, the base comprises a disc board resting on at least one support bar fixed to the game board, the game bars being fixed to the disc board and an upper board resting on at least one support bar fixed to the disc board. The disc board is thus at a distance from the game board in order to allow free movement of the player's bodies without touching the game board, the distance thus being able to be adapted to the size of the player's bodies. The upper board can also be used, on the one hand, to block the movement of the game bars along the vertical axis, and on the other hand, as a support for a point counting system.
[0012] According to one embodiment of the invention, the game board comprises a convex shape in its center. The convex or domed shape makes it possible to limit the possibility of the ball getting stuck in the center of the game board where the players' bodies cannot go.
[0013] According to another embodiment of the invention, the excavations pass through the game board and two containers are placed under each of the excavations and comprise a portion which extends from the game board. The hole-shaped goal formation allows a container to be placed for easily retrieving the ball on one side or the other of the game board.
[0014] According to one embodiment of the invention, the game device further comprises two opposite ball return cleats located against a vertical wall at a distance from the excavations. Placing diametrically opposite wooden cleats prevents the ball from getting stuck in a corner of the game board or a place inaccessible to a player's body. According to another embodiment, the game board may include raised portions allowing movement of the ball.
[0015] According to a characteristic of the invention, each slide has at one end a handle suitable for gripping.
[0016] According to one embodiment of the invention, the gaming device comprises means for gripping the gaming device. Implementing a handle or an ac- The grab-and-go accessory makes it easy to move the gaming device.
[0017] According to another embodiment of the invention, the gaming device comprises a cover capable of being arranged on the vertical wall(s). Such a cover can be used to form a flat surface intended to transform the gaming device into a table which can serve, for example, as a high table, but also as a support for another game board, for example, the cover comprises an Indian billiard table or a mahjong board or checkers game, chess game or other.
