Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Description of a connected taximeter
[0001] The present invention “Taxiora” relates to a connected taximeter with certain advanced functionalities.
[0002] The concept of taximeter has already existed on the market for a long time, basically it is a simple meter limited to displaying the amount to be paid by the taxi customer depending on the distance traveled.
[0003] Today this counter is outdated; its ergonomics are unfavorable, it is often out of service, it is difficult to recover the history of the races which makes it easy to implement fraud against the user and the State.
[0004] Other than that the driver must use a browser (application or device) and an application to accept reservations which creates congestion.
[0005] The "Taxiora" allows us to overcome these drawbacks and develop them. We therefore propose a new, more advanced, digital, intelligent and, above all, secure concept.
[0006] The “Taxis” allows the meter to be developed and enhanced in order to integrate a tablet on the taxi which facilitates rapid operation for the user and improves their service to their customers.
[0007] The features of this invention “Taxiora” are as follows: • It is a touchscreen tablet connected to a mobile network of one or more specific operators (3G, 4G). • the tablet displays a GPS navigator to start a race. • SOS button in case of discomfort or danger • Calculation of the cost of the race. • Calculate a shortest route to run a race. • Management of a reservation queue. • Payment will be either in cash, or by contactless bank or postal card and integrated into the tablet. • Printing a payment receipt is mandatory. • Taxi fleet management: the user can retrieve the history of the trips in real time as “recipes” such as: • All races carried out; • the kilometers; • speed ; • time achieved for each race; • the fares used throughout the journey; • payment receipts; • the addresses... • History in the form of totals of races which are made for the State (tax revenue) on a date determined according to the different tax regimes. • Update of current taxi fares (depending on the area) • Maintenance reminder. • Car information decoding box (illuminates if the taxi is free or occupied as well as the rate applied) • Hall effect sensors to detect car movement. • On-board camera that will work as a DVR.
[0008] The attached drawings illustrate the “Taxiora” invention:
