Claims
Demands
1. Orthodontic wax composition (2), comprising beeswax, representing 50 to 80% by weight of the total composition, the composition is characterized in that it comprises natural chicle gum, at a level of 10 to 40% by weight of the total composition,
2. Composition according to the preceding claim wherein natural chicle gum constitutes 25 to 35% by weight of the total composition.
3. Composition according to the preceding claim wherein the beeswax constitutes 60 to 65% by weight of the total composition.
4. Composition according to any one of the preceding claims comprising virgin vegetable oil representing between 2% and 8% by weight of the composition.
5. Composition according to the preceding claim wherein virgin vegetable oil represents 7.5% by weight of the composition.
6. Composition according to any one of the two preceding claims wherein the virgin vegetable oil is coconut oil.
7. Composition according to any one of the preceding claims comprising between 2 and 3% of mint powder by weight of the composition.
8. Box comprising the composition according to any one of the preceding claims, the composition being in solid form and in the form of bars and / or tablets.
9. A process for manufacturing a hot orthodontic wax composition in a vat at a temperature of 80 degrees or higher, comprising the following steps: a. adding beeswax, representing 50 to 80% by weight of the total composition; b. adding natural chicle gum, at 10 to 40% by weight of the total composition; c. hot mixing of the components until emulsified; d. cooling of the composition in a mold until a bar or tablet is obtained.
10. A manufacturing process according to the preceding claim, wherein, before the mixing step, a virgin vegetable oil is added re- representing 2 to 8% by weight of the total composition.
