Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: A construction, preferably modular, comprising a wooden ceiling frame and a wooden floor frame FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates generally to constructions. EARLIER ART
[0002] We know of the prior art of constructions comprising a wooden ceiling frame and a wooden floor frame connected to each other by uprights.
[0003] In order to be able to lift the structure, in particular in order to be able to move it with the help of a crane, it is known to weld lifting parts, such as rings, which extend above the uprights, to which slings can be attached.
[0004] However, welding lifting components above the uprights can lead to various drawbacks, including an increased overall size of the structure, which exposes it to a risk of impact during transport. These lifting components can also hinder the stacking of two building modules at the level of the uprights of said modules.
[0005] It is also desirable to ensure that the structure is properly sealed between its departure from the factory and its installation on site before final completion. For this purpose, it is known to cover the ceiling frame of the structure with a sealing membrane, for example, of the EPDM type. However, the presence of lifting equipment can hinder the proper installation of the membrane and thus compromise the seal.
[0006] Furthermore, there is a risk of damage to the building's structure during lifting, particularly in the event of an inappropriate distribution of forces within the structure during the lifting operation. To limit this risk of damage, it is known to use a lifting beam with the crane, which allows the slings to be oriented vertically to obtain vertical tensile forces. However, the use of such a lifting accessory complicates the lifting operation and requires that this accessory be available on-site.
[0007] The present invention aims to propose a new construction and a corresponding manufacturing process that makes it possible to overcome at least partially all or part of the problems set out above. Summary of the invention
[0008] For this purpose, a construction is proposed, preferably modular, comprising: - a floor frame including wooden stringers and crossbeams; - a ceiling frame comprising wooden stringers and crossbeams; - metal uprights connecting the floor frame to the ceiling frame, and, for each upright, a connection system allowing the upright to be connected to a stringer of the ceiling frame and to a cross member of said frame; characterized in that the connection system comprises: - a first assembly fitting system comprising: a connecting wing to a ceiling frame spar, said wing having a fixing portion attached to said spar and an assembly portion extending along the axis of the spar projecting from the end face of the spar; and a connecting wing to a cross member of the ceiling frame, said wing having a fixing part attached to said cross member and an assembly part which extends along the axis of said cross member projecting from the end face of the cross member; the assembly part of at least one of the wings, called the lifting wing, of the first assembly fitting system having a cutout, and the first assembly fitting system comprising a connecting piece positioned in the cutout, the connecting piece, called the threaded connecting piece, having a threaded hole in which a lifting piece, such as a ring, is suitable for screwing to be attached to said connecting piece and unscrewing to be removed, the top of the connecting piece being located at a height less than or equal to that of the top face of the spar or cross member to which the lifting wing is attached; - a second assembly fitting system fixed, preferably welded, to the upright comprising a first assembly wing riveted with the assembly part of the connecting wing to the longeron, and a second assembly wing riveted with the assembly part of the connecting wing to the cross member.
[0009] This results in a construction with screw-on areas for lifting components, used for lifting the structure, formed from components that also serve to connect the uprights to the ceiling frame. Each of these screw-on areas is created through the interaction of the threaded connecting component, also called a threaded block, and the cutout in at least one flange of a fitting system that allows the assembly of an upright to the ceiling frame.
[0010] Positioning a threaded connecting piece in a cutout of the wing of the fitting system so as not to protrude beyond the height of the upper face of each spar or cross member of the ceiling frame allows the ceiling frame to be covered by a sealing membrane, which has orifices positioned opposite the threaded orifices of the threaded connecting pieces, to ensure the sealing of the construction, without being hindered by protruding elements, such as lifting parts, which can nevertheless be screwed (and unscrewed to be removed) into the threaded connecting pieces, through the orifices of the membrane, without impacting the correct positioning of the sealing membrane.
[0011] In particular, the membrane can be reliably fixed, preferably by gluing, to the upper face of the beam (spar or cross member) of the ceiling frame to which the flange of the fitting system that carries the threaded connecting piece is attached, and preferably also to a top plate that covers the threaded connecting piece. In one embodiment, the membrane is also fixed, preferably by gluing, to the upper face (edge) of a riser, for example made of wood, such as laminated wood, with which the other beam (cross member or spar) to which a flange of said ceiling frame fitting system is attached is fitted, in order to obtain an upper face (edge) of the membrane application located at substantially the same height as the upper face of the beam (spar or cross member) to which the flange of the fitting system that carries the threaded connecting piece is attached. In one embodiment, the membrane also covers the top of the uprights (posts).
[0012] Each threaded connecting piece not only allows a lifting piece to be received by screwing, but also allows the lifting forces to be transmitted to the corresponding upright (post) and to the ceiling frame by means of the coupling, preferably by welding, of the threaded connecting piece with the corresponding wing of the fitting system which is itself fixed to the ceiling frame by its fixing part and to the upright by riveting to another fitting system welded to the upright.
[0013] The use of metal uprights combined with wooden ceiling and floor frames provides a good weight / rigidity ratio for the construction, while the special fitting system used to connect an upright to a frame provides good load transfer and allows for reliable lifting of the construction.
[0014] Thanks to the specific design of the fitting systems attached to the beams of the ceiling frame, the lifting forces applied to the lifting components can be absorbed by the fitting systems and transmitted to the uprights and beams of the ceiling frame (longitudinals and / or crossbeams) via threaded connecting pieces. These connecting pieces not only receive the lifting components but are also each attached to a flange of a fitting system, which is itself attached to an upright (by riveting to a flange of another fitting system attached to the upright). Preferably, each threaded connecting piece is also attached, for example by welding, to the upper flange fixed to a beam, such as a longitudinal member, of the ceiling frame.
[0015] Providing for a riveted assembly of the wings of the upper fitting system of each upright to the fitting system fixed to the ceiling frame (and similarly a riveted assembly of the wings of the lower fitting system of each upright to the fitting system fixed to the floor frame) allows, prior to the riveting operation, for galvanizing of the entire upright and its fitting systems after fixing, preferably by welding, said systems. hardware on the upright.
[0016] The use of metal flanges, preferably steel, for riveting the metal uprights to the wooden frame also reduces the number of fasteners required compared to screwing the wooden frame beams directly onto the upright's connecting pieces. Indeed, the number of fasteners needed to withstand the high forces would be very large and would therefore require a screwing time incompatible with in-line manufacturing. Riveting with horizontal axis rivets is much faster and more ergonomic.
[0017] According to a preferred embodiment, the use of fittings whose webs (fixing parts) are aligned with the longitudinal axis of the beams (longers or crossbeams) in which they are engaged allows for a lifting force axis that coincides with the geometric longitudinal axis of the beams of the ceiling frame, which limits the presence of "parasitic" moments to be mechanically resisted.
[0018] Screwing each lifting component, such as a lifting ring, into a corresponding threaded connecting piece allows the structure to be lifted for placement on a transport vehicle or for installation on site. Each lifting component can then be unscrewed and removed after lifting, to allow transport of the structure with a reduced risk of damage, or after installation on site when lifting is no longer required.
[0019] The construction may also include one or more of the following features taken in any technically permissible combination.

Advantageously, the upper flange is also welded to the upper edge of the wing attachment part. In a particular aspect, the upper flange is pre-assembled with the wing attachment part by male and female elements such as tabs projecting from the upper edge of the wing attachment part inserted into slots formed in the upper flange. peri.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0057] Embodiments are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Similar numbers refer to similar features in all drawings. However, the invention can be implemented in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments shown here. The scope of the invention is defined by the accompanying claims.
[0058] A reference throughout the specification to "an embodiment" means that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in relation to an embodiment is included in at least one embodiment of the present invention. Thus, the appearance of the phrase "in an embodiment" in various places throughout the specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, or characteristics may be combined in any suitable manner in one or more embodiments.
[0059] With reference to the figures, a construction 1 is proposed which includes a wooden floor frame 2 and ceiling frame 3, as well as metal uprights 4 connecting the floor frame 2 and the ceiling frame 3.
[0060] The construction described below can be installed on site permanently or in a demountable manner, for example as part of a rental agreement.
[0061] Preferably, the construction is a modular construction. The described modular construction can be assembled with other identical or similar modular constructions by juxtaposition and / or superposition to form, for example, office buildings, residential buildings and, more generally, any type of public access building (ERP).
[0062] In the following description, the terms top, bottom, upper, lower, vertical or horizontal, are considered by reference to an assembled state of the construction which rests on a horizontal ground, with the uprights extending vertically.
[0063] Amounts
[0064] Preferably, the 4 metal uprights are hollow posts, which allows rainwater to flow through the posts.
[0065] The use of metal posts, preferably made of steel, hollow allows the amount of material used to be limited, and facilitates the assembly operation of the construction thanks to the wings fixed, preferably welded, to each post as explained below.
[0066] According to one embodiment, each post 4 has a closed contour section which may also have a local opening, such as the opening 47 shown below.
[0067] Preferably, each post has a rectangular section, the longer side of the rectangle being parallel to the frame members.
[0068] According to a particular aspect and as illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, at least one upright includes an opening 47 formed in its upper part in its peripheral wall, to allow rainwater from a channel arranged in communication with said opening 47 to be received and to allow the water to flow into the post. According to one embodiment, a pipe (not shown) opens into the opening 47 and is connected to an opening 947 formed in a waterproofing membrane 9 (See example in [Fig. 8]) disposed on top of the ceiling frame to allow water to flow from the opening 947 into the interior of the post 4 through the opening 47.
[0069] According to one embodiment, the fact that the posts 4 are hollow and open or hinged at their top and bottom ends allows the interior space of the post to be freed to permit the passage of rainwater from a post of a higher building module to a corresponding post of a lower building module. All or part of the ends of the posts can be closed depending on the desired configuration of the building. Thus, in the absence of a second module superimposed on the building, the upper ends of the posts can be closed.
[0070] Advantageously, a funnel-shaped connecting piece is disposed in the upper end of the post of the lower building module to receive the lower end of the corresponding post of the upper building module, and to allow rainwater to pass without leakage from one module to the other in order to prevent water from escaping at the junction of the posts. Conversely, the funnel-shaped connecting piece can be disposed in the lower end of the post of the upper building module to fit into the upper end of the cor- respondent of the lower construction module.
[0071] For each upright 4, an upper connecting system 5,6, detailed below, connects the upright 4 (at its upper end) to a longitudinal member 31 of the ceiling frame 3 and to a cross member 32 of said frame. Similarly, a lower connecting system 5',6' is provided which connects the upright 4 (at its lower end) to a longitudinal member 21 of the floor frame 2 and to a cross member 22 of said frame.
[0072] Chassis
[0073] The ceiling frame 3 comprises two wooden stringers 31 connected to each other by two wooden cross members 32. Preferably, each cross member is provided with a riser 32A, which preferably extends to the post, to provide an upper face (edge) of height substantially equal to that of the upper face of each stringer, which makes it possible to fix the waterproofing membrane 9 to said upper faces effectively to ensure the watertightness of the structure.
[0074] The floor frame 2 also includes two wooden stringers 21 connected to each other by two wooden cross members 22. As detailed below, each stringer is connected to a cross member by a fitting system to allow the corresponding frames to be riveted together with the uprights, which are equipped with fitting systems.
[0075] The floor frame and the ceiling frame may also include elements, such as ceiling or floor elements, for example intermediate cross members 23, 33, and / or insulation and vapor retarder or vapor barrier membranes, which extend between the stringers and cross members of the frame.
[0076] Hardware system fixed to a chassis rail and cross member
[0077] The 5,6 linking system described below for linking the upper part of a The upright and ceiling frame is also applicable to the 5', 6' connecting system used for the connection between the lower part of the upright and the floor frame. The flange cutout, shown below, may or may not be omitted for the lower connecting system, and the flange connecting to the side member of one 5' part (assembly fitting system) of the connecting system may have the same height as the flange connecting to the side member of the other 6' part of the connecting system. One or more openings for the attachment device in the lower connecting system (floor frame fittings) may be used for lifting the floor frame during the manufacturing phase.
[0078] The connecting system 5, 6 includes an assembly fitting system 5 (see for example [Fig. 5] and [Fig. 6]). The assembly fitting system 5 includes a wing 531 which has a fastening portion 5310 to the spar 31 and an assembly portion 5314 which extends along the axis of the spar projecting from the end face of the spar 31. The term "axis of the spar" or axis of the cross member means the longitudinal axis, preferably central, of said spar or of said cross member.
[0079] According to one embodiment, the assembly part 5314 is coplanar with the fixing part 5310. The assembly part 5314 extends vertically and prolongs the fixing part 5310.
[0080] Advantageously, the fastening part 5310 extends into a slot formed vertically at one end of the spar 31 in the vertical mean plane of the spar.
[0081] According to one embodiment, the fastening portion 5310 is attached to an elongated metal plate, called the top flange 5311, which extends over and along an end portion of the upper face of the spar 31, preferably within a recess formed at one end of the upper face of the spar so that the flange extends through the overall thickness of the spar. Advantageously, the top flange 5311 is attached to the spar on the side of the upper face of the spar. Advantageously, the upper face of the top flange, which may include a compensating plate (not shown), extends substantially flush with the upper face of the spar. The 5310 fixing part of the wing 531 can be pre-assembled to the upper sole 5311, by means of tabs 5310A cut into an upper edge of the fixing part 5310 which engage in corresponding slots provided through the upper sole. The fixing part 5310 is preferably welded to the upper sole 5311.
[0082] The fastening portion 5310 is preferably also fixed to another elongated metal plate, called the lower flange 5312, which extends against and along an end portion of the lower face of the spar, preferably within a recess formed at one end of the lower face of the spar so that the flange extends through the overall thickness of the spar. The fastening portion 5310 can be pre-assembled to the lower flange 5312 by means of tabs 5310B cut into an upper edge of 5310 that engage in corresponding slots formed through the lower flange. The fastening portion 5310 is preferably welded to the lower flange 5312.
[0083] The sole or each sole extends orthogonally (horizontally) to the fixing part, to be fixed to the longitudinal member.
[0084] The upper sole 5311 has a part 5318 which extends above the assembly part 5314. Said part 5318 of the upper sole 5311 thus extends cantilevered from the spar 31 in the fixed state of the upper sole to the spar.
[0085] The threaded connecting piece 85 extends through the cutout 58 formed in the upper part of the assembly part 5314 and has a threaded, preferably blind, orifice 856. The orifice 856 preferably opens into an orifice 5316 formed through the upper base 5311 to allow a lifting piece 86 to be screwed into the threaded connecting piece 85 through the orifice 5316 formed in the part 5318 of the upper base 5311.
[0086] The upper plate 5311 is fixed, preferably welded, to the wing 531. It can thus be provided that the upper plate 5311 is welded to the fixing part 5310 and preferably to the assembly part 5314. Advantageously, the threaded connecting piece 85 is welded to the part 5318 of the upper plate 5311.
[0087] The threaded hole 856 in the connecting piece 85 allows the lifting piece 86 to be fixed so that it extends upwards (in particular on the side of the base 5311 opposite the connecting piece 85). Thus, in the fixed position, the lifting piece 86 can extend upwards from the upper base 5311 to allow the passage of a hook engaging with the lifting piece 86. The lifting piece 86 remains removable (unscrewable), particularly during transport of the structure, and also once the structure is installed on a site, to limit its height.Positioning the threaded connecting piece 85 in a wing cutout at a height no higher than the spar allows for the efficient placement of a sealing membrane 9 to cover the ceiling frame spars. This is achieved without interference from the lifting aid system formed by the lifting piece 86, which is unscrewable and therefore removable, and the threaded connecting piece 85, which remains within the ceiling frame's dimensions. The sealing membrane 9 can be easily perforated to create an opening 985 at the level of the threaded opening 856 in each connecting piece 85, thus enabling the lifting piece 86 to be mounted and dismounted at various stages of the structure's life (transport, on-site installation). In a particular design, the membrane 9 covers the inner faces of the stringers and crossbeam extensions of the ceiling frame and is fixed, for example by gluing, to the upper faces of the stringers and crossbeam extensions, as well as to the upper flanges. The membrane preferably has edges that fold down on the outside of the structure so as to cover the outer faces of the stringers and crossbeam extensions and / or crossbeams of the ceiling frame.
[0088] The threaded connecting piece 85 may have a cross-section whose shape is complementary to the shape of the cutout 58 formed in the assembly portion 5314 of the wing 531, so that the forces applied to the lifting piece, for example a lifting ring, (in particular bending or torsion) can be efficiently transmitted from the connecting piece to the wing. It can be envisaged that the force transmission will be achieved by the complementary shape between the contour of the cutout 58 and the connecting piece 85, without the need for welding, when the shape of the cutout opposes the retraction of the connecting piece 85 by the open edge of the cutout 58 (for example, in a vertical direction). An example of such a shape is illustrated in Figures 6 and 7, with an inverted trapezoidal shape, i.e., where the open edge of the cutout forms the shorter base of the trapezoid. When the shape of the cut does not oppose a withdrawal of part 85 by the open edge of the cut 58, as illustrated for example in [Fig.4] and 5, with a . rectangular shape, preferably square (i.e. where the open edge of the cutout forms one side of the square), then the connecting piece 85 is welded to part 5314 of the wing 531 and preferably to the upper sole 5311 to ensure good transmission of forces.
[0089] Similarly, the assembly fitting system 5 also includes a wing 532 having a fixing part 5320 fixed to the cross member 32 and an assembly part 5324 which extends along the axis of the cross member projecting from the end face of the cross member 32.
[0090] According to one embodiment, the assembly part 5324 is coplanar with the fixing part 5320. The assembly part 5324 extends vertically and prolongs the fixing part 5320.
[0091] The fixing part 5320 extends into a slot formed vertically at one end of the cross member 32 in the vertical mean plane of the cross member.
[0092] The fixing part 5320 can be provided with one (or more) fixing plates 5321 extending orthogonally (horizontally) to the fixing part, to be fixed(s) on a lower (or upper) face of the cross member.
[0093] Each fixing part 5310, 5320 thus forms a fixing core of the assembly wings to a beam (longitudinal or cross member) of the chassis, preferably in the longitudinal axis of the beam and in the vertical median plane of the beam.
[0094] According to a preferred embodiment, the fixing part 5320 and the fixing part 5310 are connected to each other by a connecting part 533.
[0095] According to a particular aspect, the fastening part 5320 and the fastening part 5310 are formed from a single piece (for example from a cut and folded metal blank).
[0096] Wing cutout and insertion of a threaded connecting piece
[0097] As mentioned above, the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 of the assembly fitting system 5 has a cutout 58 in its upper part to allow insertion into the cutout of the threaded connecting piece 85, which has a threaded hole 856 adapted for screwing into said connecting piece 85, of a lifting piece 86, such as a ring. The ring 86 includes a threaded outer portion 865 adapted to cooperate with the thread 856 of the connecting piece 85.
[0098] The cutout advantageously has a shape complementary to a section of the connecting piece 85. According to one embodiment, for example illustrated in [Fig. 4] or 5, the cutout is rectangular, preferably square, and the connecting piece 85 is a parallelepiped, for example a cube. According to another embodiment, for example illustrated in [Fig. 6] or 7, the cutout is in the shape of an inverted trapezoid, and the connecting piece 85 is a piece having a cross-section in the shape of an inverted trapezoid.
[0099] Fitting system fixed to the upright
[0100] The connection system also includes a fixed assembly fitting system 6, of preferably welded, to the peripheral wall of the upright 4.
[0101] The assembly fitting system 6 includes a first assembly wing 61, for riveting assembly with the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 connecting to the spar 31 of the ceiling frame 3; and a second assembly wing 62, for riveting assembly with the assembly part 5324 of the wing 532 connecting to the cross member 32 of the ceiling frame 3.
[0102] The wing 61 extends orthogonally to a face 461 of the upright, and the wing 62 extends orthogonally to a face 462 of the upright, adjacent to face 461. Each wing thus extends in a vertical plane, orthogonally to the face of the upright to which it is fixed, preferably at a distance from the planes of the faces of the upright that are adjacent to the fixing face. Advantageously, each wing 61, 62 extends along a median longitudinal axis of the face 461, 462 to which said wing is fixed.
[0103] Preferably, the fitting system 6 includes a connecting part 63 which connects the two wings 61, 62. The two wings 61, 62 extend orthogonally with respect to each other.
[0104] According to one embodiment, the assembly fitting system 6 is made from a single piece by cutting and bending a sheet metal blank. Alternatively, the wings 61, 62 may be formed from two separate pieces welded to the upright 4.
[0105] According to a particular aspect, the wing 62 extends below the opening 47 made in the face 462 of the upright to which it is fixed, said opening 47 being intended to collect water from a channel of the construction.
[0106] Each of the wings 61 and 62 extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the upright, orthogonally to the face of the upright 4 to which it is fixed. When the structure is on a horizontal floor, each upright is then vertical and the wings 61, 62 also extend vertically from the upright towards a cross member or a stringer of the ceiling frame.
[0107] As mentioned above, a fastening system, which may be identical or similar to fastening system 6, is fixed to the lower part of the upright. As a reminder, the terms upper and lower are defined with reference to the structure being positioned on a horizontal surface, with the uprights being vertical. The fastening system at the lower part of the upright has one flange parallel to flange 61, and another flange parallel to flange 62 of the upper fastening system.
[0108] In the assembled state of the upright 4 to the ceiling frame via the fitting systems 5,6, the upper edge 68 of the wing 61 is located flush with or below the bottom 586 of the cut 58 of the assembly part 5314 of the corresponding wing 531 of the assembly fitting system 5.
[0109] The assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 of the assembly fitting system 5, to through which the cutout 58 is made, is moved away from the inner vertical face of the spar 31 to which said assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 is fixed, which allows the connecting piece 85 to extend across the cutout 58, without encroaching inside the space delimited by the beams of the ceiling frame.
[0110] The inner vertical face of the side member 31 is the face of the side member that is opposite the other side member of the chassis. The side member has an outer vertical (or lateral) face, parallel to the inner vertical (or lateral) face, but whose normal is oriented towards the outside of the chassis, and upper and lower (horizontal) faces.
[0111] The assembly wing 61 of the fitting system 6 is assembled by riveting with the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 (connecting to the longeron 31) of the fitting system 5. Similarly, the assembly wing 62 of the fitting system 6 is assembled by riveting with the assembly part 5324 of the wing 532 connecting to the cross member 32.
[0112] The arrangement of the cutout 58 in the wing 531, and of the upper edge 68 of the wing 61 allows the positioning of the connecting piece 85 tapped through the cutout 58 of the wing 531, and above the upper edge 68 of the wing 61.
[0113] Preferably, the upper edge of the assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 and the upper edge of the wing 61 are located at a height which remains lower than the upper end of the upright.
[0114] As an alternative or in addition, it could be provided that the cut which receives the threaded connecting piece is made in the assembly part of the wing fixed to the cross member of the ceiling frame.
[0115] Lifting function
[0116] The lifting function is thus enabled by the integration into the fitting system of a threaded connecting piece 85 which not only forms a receiving piece for the screw fixing of a lifting piece 86 (such as a lifting ring) easily mounted and detachable from the structure, but which also ensures good transmission and distribution of the lifting forces between the posts 4 and the beams 31, 32 of the ceiling frame, by - its coupling, preferably with welding, to the cutout 58 made in a wing of the fitting system, which is fixed via another wing of the fitting system to a post, - and, preferably, by its attachment (advantageously by welding) to the upper sole 5311.
[0117] This design allows the forces to be transmitted during lifting to be distributed between the wings of the two fitting systems 5, 6. The wings attached to the ceiling frame take up the forces due to the self-weight of the ceiling (roof) and the wings of the upright take up the forces due to the weight of the posts (uprights) and the floor.
[0118] Process
[0119] An example of a method for manufacturing and assembling a modular construction, as presented above, is described below.
[0120] The method is described for attaching a fitting system 6 to a stud 4 (at the top of the stud) for riveting the fitting system 6 to a fitting system 5 attached to a beam 31, which in the examples is a longitudinal member 31, and to a beam 32, which in the examples is a cross member 32 of the ceiling frame. Although less advantageous, it would be possible to provide that the beam 31 is a cross member and the beam 32 is a longitudinal member.
[0121] The method can also be applied to the fixing of an additional 6' fitting system, in the lower part of the upright, for the purpose of riveting the additional 6' fitting system (in the lower part of the upright) with another 5' fitting system fixed to a longitudinal member and a cross member of the floor frame.
[0122] The fitting systems used at the bottom of the upright may be identical or similar to those used at the top. It should be noted that the fitting systems for connecting the bottom of the upright to the floor frame may or may not have one or more cutouts or openings for the passage of a hook or receiving element for a lifting component, such as a ring, which itself may be designed to be passed through by a hook for lifting. The fitting systems used at the top and bottom may be identical to limit the number of different parts required.
[0123] In addition, the description given below for an amount located in a corner of the construction applies to the other amounts located in the other corners to connect to each of these other amounts a cross member and a stringer of the ceiling frame, and to connect to each of these other amounts a cross member and a stringer of the floor frame.
[0124] Welding of wing assemblies to a post
[0125] The process thus comprises the following steps for each upright. As a reminder, the terms top, or upper, and bottom, or lower, are defined by reference to a positioning of the construction on a horizontal ground, the uprights then being vertical.
[0126] The assembly fitting system 6 is welded to the upright at the top of the upright. The two wings 61, 62 extend orthogonally to each other and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the upright. Wing 62 is below the opening 47 intended to collect water from a channel of the structure.
[0127] As mentioned above, a joining fitting system 6', which may be identical to the joining system 6, is fixed to the lower part of the upright. The joining fitting system has one flange parallel to the flange 61, and another flange parallel to the flange 62.
[0128] Ceiling frame connection fitting system
[0129] The fitting system 5 comprises, as mentioned above, a connecting wing 531 to the longeron 31 and a connecting wing 532 to the cross member 32. Advantageously, the fitting system 5 also includes the upper flange 5311, which is welded to the upper edge of the attachment portion 5310 of the connecting wing 531, and preferably welded to the threaded connecting piece 85 housed in the cutout 58 formed in the upper part of the assembly portion 5314 of the connecting wing 531. Preferably, the upper flange 5311, by its portion 5318, is welded to the assembly portion 5314 of the wing 531. Advantageously, the threaded connecting piece 85 is also welded to the assembly portion 5314 of the wing 531, in particular along the edges of the cutout 58.
[0130] According to one embodiment, in which the fitting system 5 also includes the lower plate 5312, said lower plate 5312 is welded to the lower edge of the fixing part 5310 of the connecting wing 531.
[0131] Galvanizing
[0132] The entire upright and fitting systems can then be galvanized.
[0133] The entire upright and the hardware systems welded to it (before as Assembly by riveting with other hardware systems attached to the chassis, preferably by welding, maintains a limited size that allows for easy transport and galvanizing. The overall corrosion resistance is also high because the weld seams applied to the hardware systems are protected by the zinc from hot-dip galvanizing.
[0134] The pre-welded flanges of the fitting systems attached to the post, which are intended to be riveted to the corresponding flanges of the floor and ceiling frame fitting systems, eliminate the need for welding at the assembly site (also known as 3D assembly) of the building module when assembling the uprights with the floor and ceiling frames. Conversely, if there were no assembly flanges attached to the uprights intended to be riveted to the corresponding assembly parts of the flanges attached to the frames, and if welding were required between a galvanized upright and the connecting fittings attached to the frames, a layer of galvanization would have to be locally removed from the upright before the upright could be welded to the connecting fittings attached to the frames.
[0135] During 3D modeling, the rivetless assembly of wooden frames, equipped with fitting systems fixed to the frame beams, with metal uprights equipped with pre-welded fitting systems, also allows for the pre-equipping of parts of the structure, such as ceiling and floor frames, before the assembly corresponding to the 3D modeling, without risk of damage to said equipment that could occur (during 3D modeling) if the assembly were carried out by welding, due to possible spattering.
[0136] Attaching wings to a longitudinal member and a cross member of the ceiling frame
[0137] The wing 531 of the fitting system 5 is fixed to a longitudinal member 31 of the ceiling frame by the fixing part 5310 which is inserted into a slot provided in one end of the spar 31, preferably in the vertical median plane of the spar 31.
[0138] Preferably, the fastening part 5310 is in the form of a plate which extends vertically inside the longeron and is extended by the assembly part 5314 which extends projecting from the end of the longeron and which is intended to be riveted to the wing 61 attached to the post 4. Advantageously, the assembly part 5314 and the fastening part 5310 of the wing 531 extend along the longitudinal axis of the longeron 31.
[0139] Similarly, the wing 532 is fixed to the cross member 32 of the ceiling frame by the fixing part 5320 which is inserted into a slot provided in one end of the cross member 32, preferably in the vertical median plane of the cross member.
[0140] Preferably, the fastening part 5320 is in the form of a plate which extends vertically inside the cross member and is extended by the assembly part 5324 which projects from the end of the cross member 32 and is intended to be riveted to the wing 61 attached to the post 4. Advantageously, the assembly part 5324 and the fastening part 5320 of the wing 532 extend along the longitudinal axis of the cross member 32.
[0141] Fastening elements, such as pins or screws, are driven into the corresponding beams (side member and cross member) of the chassis to secure each fastening part 5310, 5320 engaged in a slot in the side member 31 or cross member 32. The fastening elements extend transversely to the side member or cross member and pass through said fastening part 5310, 5320. Holes may be pre-formed in the fastening part 5310, 5320 for the passage of the fastening elements or may be formed by the fastening elements themselves during their installation (for example, with self-drilling screws). It is also possible to use fastening elements (such as screws) that extend vertically through the flange 5311, and, optionally, the flange 5312.
[0142] The wings 531, 532 are made of metal, preferably steel, as are the wings 61, 62 to which the wings 531, 532 are riveted.
[0143] When present, the lower flange 5312, which is welded to the wing 531, is attached to the longeron on the underside of the longeron. When present, the flange or flanges 5321 are welded to the attachment part 5320.
[0144] Assembly of the upright wings with the wings fixed to the side member and the cross member
[0145] For assembling the construction (3D rendering), the wings 531, 532 of the system of Fittings 5, which are fixed to beams 31, 32, are positioned opposite wings 61 62 of the upright are respectively riveted to wing 531. Wing 531 is then riveted to wing 61, and wing 532 is riveted to wing 62. Several rivets are used to ensure a secure attachment of the wings to each other. In the example shown in the figures, connecting part 533 is superimposed on connecting part 63.
[0146] The assembly part 5314 of the wing 531 is in particular positioned against the wing 61 so as to position the bottom of the cutout 58 flush or above the upper edge 68 of the wing 61, to allow the passage of the threaded connecting piece 85.
[0147] Preferably, the wings 61, 62 and 531, 532 do not protrude from the upper end of the upright 4. The threaded connecting piece 85 which is housed in the cutout 58 and which extends above the upper edge 68 of the wing 61, remains included in the overall dimensions (volume) of the construction delimited by the uprights and the ceiling and floor frames.
[0148] Furthermore, the fact that the connecting fitting formed by the wing 531, and that the connecting fitting formed by the wing 532, extend along the longitudinal axis of the longeron 31, respectively of the cross member 32, and in particular extend in the vertical mean plane of said longeron or of said cross member, allows a good distribution of forces during lifting, and a limitation of parasitic moments.
[0149] The riveting of the wings of the lower part of the upright with the corresponding wings of a longitudinal member and a cross member of the floor frame can be carried out as described above for the wings of the upper part of the upright with the corresponding wings of a longitudinal member and a cross member of the ceiling frame.
[0150] The assembly operations between a post and each frame are carried out for each post, which makes it possible to obtain the 3D rendering of the construction.
[0151] The structure can be lifted by hooking sling hooks (connected to a crane) to lifting parts 86, such as rings, which are screwed into the threaded connecting parts 85 and which extend outward from the floor frame beams (and the top flanges 5311) by being screwed into the threaded connecting parts 85, preferably through said top flanges 5311.
[0152] As mentioned above, the presence of the metal posts 4 as uprights, and the arrangement of the connecting fittings between posts and frame beams in the beam axis, ensure good rigidity of the construction and good load transfer, which avoids the need to use a spreader bar.
[0153] Superposition of construction modules
[0154] Two building modules can be superimposed, particularly if an extension is needed following the installation of a first building module, as described above, by positioning a second building module on top of the first module, so as to connect the uprights of the second module. construction to the uprights of the first construction module to allow water to flow from the uprights of the second construction module through the uprights of the first construction module.
[0155] Juxtaposition of construction modules
[0156] A second modular structure can be positioned adjacent to a first modular structure. When two modular structures are placed side by side longitudinally, a sealing strip (for example, made of EPDM) can be added to extend over the two adjacent stringers in order to cover and seal the gap between the adjacent stringers of the two adjacent modular structures. With the lifting members removed, the sealing strip also preferably covers at least part of the corresponding openings 985 provided through the sealing membrane 9 that extend opposite the corresponding threaded holes 856 of the connecting members 85.

Accordingly, it must be understood that, where the features mentioned in the appended claims are followed by reference numerals, these numerals are included solely for the purpose of improving the intelligibility of the claims and are in no way limiting the scope of the claims.
