Abstract

ROTARY INTERFACE FOR MANUAL MULTIDIRECTIONAL APPLICATION OF EYE MAKEUP A cosmetic dispensing device includes a housing (102); a print head inside the housing, the print head including one or more nozzles for dispensing one or more formulations; an applicator face (104) connected to the housing, in which an outer side of the applicator face includes a roller (115) adjacent to one or more nozzles, and the applicator face (104) is configured to rotate relative to the housing (102), and the applicator face is held at more than one rotation setting relative to the housing.

Claims

one or more springs (127A, 127B) on the applicator face and one or more slots (125) on the housing, wherein the one or more springs on the applicator face and the one or more slots on the housing retain the applicator face by no more than one rotation setting when the one or more springs are engaged in the one or more slots.

7. Cosmetic deposition device according to claim 6, wherein the applicator face comprises one or more pairs of diametrically opposed springs (127A, 127B) and a plurality of slots (125) are present on an inner circumference of the housing.

8. Cosmetic deposition device according to claim 7, further comprising one or more magnets (121A, 121B) on the applicator face or one or more magnets (123A-H) on the housing used as a magnetic field sensor to determine a rotation position of the applicator face.

Cosmetic deposition device according to claim 1, wherein an underside of the housing includes more than one ratchet (160) to support the applicator face, one ratchet including an axially extending collar and a radially extending flange, and the applicator face includes a rim that is engaged with more than one ratchet.

10. Cosmetic deposition device according to claim 1, wherein the applicator face (104) includes an opening for one or more nozzles (106A, 106B, 106C) to dispense one or more formulations through it. [Fig. 2] -100 / k
