Abstract

The invention relates to a rear area arrangement of a motor vehicle body structure (1), comprising a plurality of sub-assemblies made up of sheet metal parts and assembled together to form said rear area, including in particular two side silhouette sub-assemblies (200) and a rear panel sub-assembly (300);each of said side silhouette subassemblies comprising a rear attachment groove (221) extending transversely towards the interior of said vehicle, said rear panel subassembly further comprising, near each of its two lateral edges, a latching tab (323) extending in a substantially vertical plane projecting longitudinally forward and intended to pass through, during the pre-installation of said rear panel subassembly by means of a longitudinal translational movement from back to front, a respective receiving slot (222) provided in said rear attachment groove of a corresponding side silhouette subassembly. 6. Rear area arrangement of body structure (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that each said notch (323A) has an inverted V-shaped profile flaring forward and downward.

7. Rear body structure rear area arrangement (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that each said reception light (222) is provided in the rear attachment rebate (221) of a lower side plate of rear wing closure (220) of a corresponding side silhouette subassembly (200).

8. Rear area arrangement of body structure (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the transverse width of said welcome lights (222) is less than or equal to 10 millimeters.

Rear body structure rear area arrangement (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a straight waterproof paint bead (C) is made along each substantially vertical joint line between an external lateral edge of said rear panel subassembly (300) and said rear attachment rebate (221).
