Abstract

Device (10) for additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object comprising a fixed frame (12), a pellet extruder system (14) connected to the fixed frame (12) and movable relative to the fixed frame (12), a print head (16) connected to the extruder system (14) and a platform (18) for receiving the extruded material from the print head (16) connected to the fixed frame (12), the total number of axes of movement of the additive manufacturing device being equal to five. The print head comprises: - a volumetric metering device (22) located downstream of the pellet extruder system (14) and configured to deliver a calibrated quantity of molten material; - a print nozzle (24) located downstream of the volumetric metering device (22); and - a heating device (26) for the calibrated molten material exiting the volumetric metering device (22) located upstream of the print nozzle (24).
