[0001] The present invention relates to hair conditioning compositions comprising (a) at least two cationic surfactants; (b) at least one fatty alcohol; (c) at least one alcohol ester; (d) at least one nonionic polymer; (e) at least one fatty acid; and (f) at least one fatty compound, and mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to a method for conditioning hair, particularly curly hair. CONTEXT OF THE INVENTION
[0002] People use various cosmetic and personal care compositions to improve the appearance and feel of keratinous fibers, such as hair.
[0003] Particularly with regard to curly hair, consumers are always faced with problems related to curl definition such as frizz, volume, and shape. Curly hair tends to frizz and increase significantly in volume when exposed to high humidity, chemical treatments, and other factors. Furthermore, curl shape and definition are lost after sleeping.
[0004] Numerous attempts have been made to develop products intended to discipline, define and control hair, especially curly hair, by strengthening / maintaining curl definition, curl retention and curl regularity, without giving the hair an unnatural and stiff feel and / or appearance, but these products have resulted in additional problems or maintenance difficulties.

[0010] The inventors of the present invention have obtained, in a surprising and unexpected manner, hair cosmetic compositions, particularly designed for curly hair, comprising (a) at least two cationic surfactants; (b) at least one fatty alcohol; (c) at least one alcohol ester; (d) at least one non-ionic polymer; (e) at least one fatty acid; and (f) at least one fatty compound other than (b) or (e), and mixtures thereof, which are capable not only of penetrating the hair fiber without accumulating on the surface of the fiber, but also of providing curl definition until the next wash, long-lasting curl definition, frizz control, a natural look and desirable volume, and which do not give the hair a heavy appearance, but also provide cosmetic benefits such as shine, a smooth feel, and ease of application.It was also discovered that these cosmetic benefits were more pronounced with multiple applications of the product (cumulative effect).

Demands
1. A hair conditioning composition comprising: (a) 0.1% to 20.0% by weight of at least two cationic surfactants; (b) 0.1% to 35.0% by weight of at least one fatty alcohol; (c) 0.1% to 15.0% by weight of at least one alcohol ester; (d) 0.1% to 10.0% by weight of at least one nonionic polymer; (e) 0.1% to 15.0% by weight of at least one fatty acid; and (f) 0.1% to 25.0% by weight of at least one fatty compound, other than (b) the fatty alcohol and (e) the fatty acid; wherein all amounts are expressed in relation to the total weight of the composition.
2. A composition according to claim 1, wherein the two cationic surfactants are selected from a combination of methosulfate and alkyl amidoamine, and wherein at least one methosulfate is selected from dipalmitoylethyl hydroxyethylmonium methosulfate, undecyleneamidopropyltrimonium methosulfate, dicocoylethyl hydroxyethylmonium methosulfate, bis-(isostearoyl / oleoyl isopropyl dimonium methosulfate, cetrimonium methosulfate, behentrimonium methosulfate, and / or dipalmitoylethyl hydroxyethylmonium methosulfate, and mixtures thereof, and at least one alkyl amidoamine is selected from stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, behenamidopropyl dimethylamine, brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine, and mixtures thereof. mixtures.
