Abstract

AEROSOL FILTRATION SYSTEM USING MULTIPLE CYCLONE SEPARATORS AND FILTRATION METHOD. A filtration system comprises an inlet (4) receiving an aerosol and a separator (5) separating a carrier gas and particles. The separator (5) comprises a plurality of cyclone separators (6) arranged in groups of cyclone separators (6) and positioned side-by-side in a ring. Each group of cyclone separators (6) has an inlet opening (7), a first cyclone separator (6a), a second cyclone separator (6b), and a conveying channel (8) connecting the inlet opening (7) to each of the first and second cyclone separators (6a, 6b) to deliver the aerosol.The first cyclone separator (6a) has an inlet mouth (6') opening into the conveying channel (8) which is lower than an inlet mouth (6') of the second cyclone separator (6b).
