Abstract
A liquid ring pump (1) configured to circulate a fluid in a fluid circuit and comprising: a cylindrical body (2) defining an internal volume (20) filled with a working fluid forming, in an operating configuration, a liquid ring around the periphery of the internal volume (20); and at least one drive element (9) mounted rotatably offset within the cylindrical body (2), the drive element (9) comprising an impeller (3) having a plurality of cavities (32), each being defined between two adjacent impellers (31). The drive element (9) includes at least a plurality of upstream openings (91) for the circulation of the fluid (F) in the impeller (3), at least a plurality of downstream openings for the distribution of the fluid (F), and at least a plurality of circulation channels formed each between an upstream opening (91) and a downstream opening whose angular positions are offset.
